Great little place to kill some time!

A group of us went on a weekday night and had the place to ourselves. Ended up playing games with the owner, Dave, and another person on shift. We all had a great time! Such a casual vibe and very easy to get your money’s worth here. BYOB was a plus. Highly recommend for a group activity with friends, family or coworkers

Been awhile since we visited, but I'm writing my review now! My friends (6 of us) and I came from Jersey to play a little Binding of Isaac away from home. Needless to say we wound up playing ALL day and even ordered food. Guy up front - forgot his name but just a pleasant dude with glasses. SUPER nice, personable, and helped us navigate their board game collection. Bathrooms were clean, MTG cards were affordable so we bought plenty. I got some DnD dice. I definitely will be back!

I love this place! So many games to try! Also very glad they're able to hold Magic The Gathering nights again after more than 16 mo!

This place is simply amazing. It's only $10 for admission to play amazing board games. The owner is super nice and the place has a great board game theme vibe. It's a great way to spend a fun night!

Most fun we've had in a long time... even friendly for dummies that don't play board games that often! "Game master" was extremely helpful and awesome.

Anyone who is interested in learning more about board games or wants to play some games that you own needs to check this place out. The owner is highly knowledgeable about the games available and willing to teach. Highly recommended you spend a few hours here!

The owners are truly passionate and knowledgeable on much of their stock. Their quick bites are good quality and reasonably priced. The Basement is sure to be a good night out for you and your group of any age. BYOB.

This place is so wonderful. The board game collection is unbelievable. The food was delicious (we ordered the mac&cheese bites and the bacon, tomato grilled cheese). The ease of reserving a table on the website is so helpful to ensure that you'll get a spot on the day you plan to attend. Our whole group actually got a month membership because we had such a good time- we will be back!

All the games we played were in great condition and the food was good (better than we expected and priced very fairly). The staff is awesome and accommodated our short notice reservation for a large group. BYOB!

Great place to hang out low key. Good finger foods, great hospitality, and welcoming setting. Travled 40 min to get here and would do it again in a heart beat! Reasonable outing. BYOB. Literally have NO negatives about this place, they even accommodated us (a party of 12) last minute. Couldn't be happier.

The library is incredible, tons of really really great games. The owner does a great job teaching them too, and the food is simple but very good.

The basement is amazing! 500+ games, delicious, well-priced, filling snacks, and BYOB next door to a beer store! Incredible find! Bought a monthly membership immediately.

Great shop with a decent selection of food and drink and pretty much any boardgame you can think of to sit down and have some fun with.

Excellent place to play a board game and have a grilled cheese. They have a superb collection of games to play, and able you to bring your own beverage/game. The one imperfect part of the experience are the hard stools to sit on. I highly recommend bringing a stadium seat pad to make that better.

A great place to sit down with some friends to play a couple board games and grab a bite to eat! Family friendly. Definitely try the TBC - tomato, bacon, cheese - grilled sandwich. (BYOB)

This place is great if you want a game night with friends but don't have a lot of games. They have a whole wall filled with games that you can pick from. They also have some food options from chicken fingers to charcuterie boards that go well with any wine you want to bring in while you play.

Great atmosphere very warm with nice music, Great food and staff and very vast choices for games for any age group. Sadly there is no way I can give this place 6 out of 5 stars.

Our family had a fun afternoon at The Basement Board Game Cafe! The food was good and reasonably priced. We appreciated the BYOB policy. The owner, Kevin, was very helpful to us in picking out games and learning how to play them. We will definitely be back.

Great boardgame café! Nice selection of games: from old standbys like Monopoly and Clue to strategy games like Pandemic to fast-paced versus games like Smash-Up and King of Tokyo, plus a bunch more. Tasty selection of light food options (sandwiches, meat/cheese boards, etc.), and pricing is reasonable. Also, BYOB (The Foodery is right down the street). Kevin, the proprietor, is also very knowledgeable about the majority of the games, and is great at helping you choose a good game and getting you started with it. Looking for a good way to spend an evening out? Highly recommend stopping by. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Been here twice now, once with my wife and again with a group of friends. Both times were awesome. They have a ton of games to choose from, and will recommend some to you based on what you're in the mood for. On top of that, if it’s not super busy they will even take the time to walk you through how to play which is super helpful and saves you from having to sit there and read a manual. They have a good, fairly priced selection of drinks like coffee, soda, water and tea, and it’s BYOB so you can bring booze in there too. They have snacks and candy, and offer some sandwiches and appetizers too if you’re feeling hungry. In terms of price, it was $10 for a day pass, or $15 for a monthly pass which was a good deal. Plus as a member you get to bring guests for $5 each. All in all, this place is awesome and I’d highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

So much fun! A great selection of games, awesome staff, and tasty food! Will certainly be going back!
