I’ll start off with the good, the pastries were really good. I had the cinnamon roll bread pudding! Loved it. And my gf had a Cappuccino which tasted pretty decent. And the atmosphere was actually really great, the service was basic. Nothing bad or good to say. But I ordered an iced white mocha and the espresso tasted burnt like it was decaf. I order a breakfast bacon biscuit sandwich and honestly it was terrible for $9 dollars I’d rather go to McDonald’s. Like the bread they serviced me was completely burnt and tasted a couple days old and the egg was just as bad. I took one bite and left it there. I don’t think I’d go back (well maybe for a pastry)

Gorgeous environment and delicious and unique pastry and coffee offerings. We loved the pistachio cold foam and lavender honey lattes. Every pastry was beyond delicious.

Great place and all but they it took an hour for omelettes and that too they brought out the wrong order.

We came down from the Coushatta Casino to grab some breakfast, this place did not disappoint and we will definitely be back. The pastry’s are on display and your mouth will be watering before you even go up to order your food.

We prefer lake charles to Las Vegas and shops like this are the reason why. Excellent food and real service. See yall next trip.

We drove in from Houston yesterday, and I was excited to try this place out. It was rainy out, but that wasn't going to stop me from trying it. We walked in, and the atmosphere was beautiful. It was exactly what I expected. Sadly my husband noticed that we were getting looks as if we didn't belong there. I didn't notice because I was just so excited to try it. We get to the counter and I start to look at the menu and asked for the item I was excited to try. The girl at the register was very short with us and seemed to be annoyed and responded with no it's seasonal. So I asked well what's popular. She told me to try the ham and cheese. So we decided to leave. It was apparent that if you are not from the area you are not welcome. We took our business to Coffee: 30 and got the best service.

This place came highly recommended by my friends from Houston so when I was in town for work I had to stop by. I had a caesar salad and a pastry. My coworker had the chicken salad croissant. All incredibly fresh, not to mention the interior design is incredible. All around phenomenal experience.

The Bekery never disappoints. Huge portions (most items are big enough for two people) and great atmosphere. There is sometimes a line but it goes quickly and is well worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Gave this establishment several chances but it’s overpriced, can’t get coffee orders correct and food is cold/not fresh. Wouldn’t recommend.

You should definitely patronize this place! It’s a bit tucked away, but is located in Walnut Grove. The atmosphere is very classy and unlike any other cafe in the Lake Charles area, or most of Louisiana for that matter…I’ve been to quite a few. Their staff is very patient, knowledgeable, and courteous! Not only is their coffee delicious but their food is also! Their salmon toast and chicken salad are amazing! I have to remember to take photos next time.

We had the sticky bun, the babka and an omelet with a Cappuchino and mocha latte. Perfect start to our Saturday! It's gets very but they are quick to bring out your meals! Delicious drinks/food and a beautiful restaurant!

My daughter and I went there yesterday. It was my first time eating at the actual location. The food was great, the atmosphere, pleasant. Everything was fine right up until my daughter found a hair inside of her omelet halfway through eating it.🤢 We didn't make a stink about it, but I won't be eating there again.🤷🏿‍♀️

Y’all, I am so spoiled on the Bekery. Everything is excellent. I have been a dedicated fan since opening and go at least once a week. My usual order is a quiche or blueberry biscuit. The cold brew is a summer essential, and their other coffees are great, too. They offer so many fun seasonal things, that you can’t simply go once. The space is beautiful and a great place to work, catch up with friends, or just take a coffee break.

Came all the way from SE Texas to visit my mother and take her to lunch here. Chicken salad croissants and the sausage quiche was amazing.

Sometimes, I like to try new products .this time JI tried the bread, it was so hard & dry UNABLE TO EAT.. I tried brownie once they were like a brick. I very much enjoy the pastries almond croissant. The noise is so loud I can't hear myself . Don't live in town so returning the bad item is not possible. so I will visit for the item i like and not try anything new,

Everything is handmade every morning. You can’t go wrong with any choice you make. I love the spinach, tomato and feta cheese quiche and the strawberry tarts.

Beautiful, elegant bakery/deli that transports you to France. Very generous portions. My sticky bun was not fresh out of the oven but still tasty with maple flavored filling. My ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was huge but the grilled bread tasted burnt which I personally don't like. I would like to try again the next time we're in Lake Charles.

A hidden place in Lake Charles. Pastries like any other place. Freshly made (you must show up early to get all the freshness and variety, plus it gets very,very crowded, especially if it's raining or on weekends. We order the breakfast sandwich with sausage ( a great portion of eggs in house made sourdough bread with avocado, coffee, and the Kouign Amman!! The king cake pastry filled with almond paste to die for..... crunchy layers of sweet pastry, unfortunately, they don't make it all year around, but the almond croissant could kind of substitute. Grill chicken and the quiche butter nut squash.

I came back home to Lake Charles for a visit, and this place is the absolute best. I ate here twice while i was down! The first time i got the ham and cheese special and a slice of the spinach and feta quiche. It's just amazing! The second time, i got the Cuban. We also had to try an assortment of different pastries. Everything here is freshly made and so light and filling! After living in Colorado for 3 years and coming back to Lake Charles, this is the type of place Lame Charles needed. Everything is amazing, and I can't wait to come back and visit family and friends so I can come back to The Berkery! It was my favorite place when I came to visit.

Real bakery with wonderful breads like baguette, ciabatta, sourdough baked in an artisan manner. Wonderful large brunch type menu also. A spectacular local bakery.

I had the latte, quiche, king cake and blueberry biscuit: everything tasted amazing and the atmosphere is beyond wonderful! We drove up here for work, but this place was a real treat to visit! Recommended by a local. So worth the visit!

First time and I loved it. The vibe is great and so is the food. I ordered the ham and cheese special with an over easy egg(11$) 🍳. (Definitely a meal and not small as I thought it was) small caramel macchiato (5.50$) Service is very fast and everyone seems very nice. *When you first walk in go straight(past the tables)and to the right are menus to look over. Across from the menus you order your bakery items and when you get to the cashier you order your drinks.* In case you have anxiety like I do and don't want to disrupt the flow as I probably did lmao😬✌🏻😅 it also seems to be a very busy place

Such a great neighborhood bakery. Many options for morning treats, omelet, sandwiches, coffee, teas, pastries. Decor is unique and delightful. Patio seating available.

Tried lots of things on the menu and they were all great. The one that stands out is the crab bisque on Fridays and it was full of crab meat.

Employees go over and beyond to take care of customers.

Great food, especially for breakfast, clean restrooms, great price, will definitely visit there when in Lake Charles. It will be one of the places besides casino we will go too. Acquaint little place out of the general public eye.

The atmosphere reminded me of a Hallmark movie! I recommend the Charleston coffee and the pumpkin cheesecake muffin, ( which I did split in half with Mom.). This will become a more frequent event for me!

The Bekery is always just a wonderful spot for breakfast. We typically will try to go early to beat the crowds, but it’s worth the wait if you happen to get there when it’s busy. Sometimes we’ll do takeout if the dining area feels too crowded but normally we’ll just grab one of the two seater tables off to the side. The breakfast sandwich is excellent and all of the pastries are great, regardless of what you get.

The Cobb Salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing is top notch! Pair that with a fresh baked scone and you are sitting on top of the world. 🙂

This place does have some great bakery items but some are a hit & miss. Unfortunately there's always a LONG line and it goes VERY VERY slow:( Also never have enough fruit topped Danish as they're always out regardless when we get there:( Also don't sell anything jeely or cream filled:( It'd be nice if they just find a way to help more people in line so it goes a bit faster:( Could be from lack of staff like many places face today:( Still recommend this place but I'll regret it bc it'll just make the line longer:(

Beautiful french cafe inside and out. Pastries and coffee were delicious. The patio was gorgeous and shaded. Staff were super helpful our first time in. We'll be back the next time we visit Lake Charles

First time here and it was a Nice atmosphere and really good drinks only thing was my avocado toast the avocado was super chunky and hard I could barely bite into it.

The atmosphere inside is beautiful. We ate outside and it was very pleasant. We had the sausage quiche and a sticky bun. Both were great, but that quiche was really delicious. The staff was on top of everything, even with the long line waiting to get in. I'd absolutely go there again.

Just pay attention when you visit. This place has unlocked the key to every girls heart. Seriously gentlemen, delicious baked goods, French esthetics, gourmet drinks and a lively atmosphere has captivated so many ladies. It's brilliant marketing wrapped in flakey crusts! My wife and daughter love this place. And I too have fallen for it's deliciousness and fantastic business model. Someone needs to reproduce this business....EVERYWHERE! It is everything a Starbucks WISHES to be...and so much more. Please keep up the astounding work! Your quality and cleanliness are fantastic.

Food is great! Staff and service is not good! Have waited 40 minutes in line in 110 degree heat to get food! Service is the worst!!

Great coffee and food options!! Go early in the morning, though, because they get super busy, and you might have to sit outside under the sail canopies!
