I am very shocked at how we were basically dismissed today around our reservation for today for the week there. There is a state emergency in Florida which popped up two days ago (we’re in Atlanta) which made us contact Amex yesterday to cancel our reservations for safety reasons, obviously. Amex was amazing with calling the breakers (who they are partnered with) to see if they could cancel and get our one night deposit. After two days of calling, the reservation manager advised Amex to have me call her directly. I then proceed to only be told that since I booked it via Amex, they could not assist me with a credit or a refund. Keep in mind they are partnered and promoted as a fine hotel by Amex… She then proceeded to tell me how to book through the breakers directly and still get the Amex fine hotel credits which sounded quite shady to me. She then stated she was sorry and is there anytime else she could assist me with.. I stated we are regulars there and it really didn’t seem to matter which shocked me considering we booked for a full week. It’s safe to say that we will not be returning unless there is a major management change or this is made right.

An outstanding experience! The architecture of the hotel is simply stunning, exuding an old-world charm that perfectly complements its luxurious modern amenities. The attention to detail in the design and decor is evident everywhere you look, from the grand lobby to the elegant corridors. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The beds are incredibly comfortable and shower is great. The services at The Breakers are top-notch. The staff is exceptionally professional, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. The pool area is another highlight of the hotel. It's a true oasis, with crystal-clear water, comfortable lounge chairs, and a serene ambiance that makes it easy to relax and unwind. The poolside service is excellent, with refreshing drinks and delicious snacks available throughout the day. One of the standout features of The Breakers is the magnificent breakfast hall. The ambiance is simply enchanting, with elegant decor and an inviting atmosphere. The food is exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, catering to every taste and preference. From fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and made-to-order items, everything is of the highest quality. The only lapse, a tiny one was the valet parking. The may had parked my car under a three and the car was given fully covered with bird poo. Beside this event everything was so so so good!

We are here for our honeymoon. Loved the view and customer services. We will definitely come back again.

I love this hotel! I just had an excellent stay at The Breakers! Everything was wonderful starting with the great service from Desiree and Alexa to the Maybach car service. The architectural details were stunning throughout the whole hotel! The greens at The Ocean Course were the best I've ever played on!

The Breakers is a must see. Experience this grand dame. Just to walk through is a fun time. The food, room, grounds, golf & tennis are top of the line.

This is elegance beyond measure. Service is tremendous. The food beyond the pale and finally the location is spectacular. The one negative is that the rooms are rather small, including the suites, but 100 years ago everything was smaller.

The website does not do this place justice. They pay attention to detail. There is a water filter at our bathroom sink for drinking, the service is top notch, food is fantastic everywhere you eat, water pressure in the shower AMAZING, the soaps in our room are high quality and the list goes on……. I have been fortunate enough to have stayed at luxury resorts and The Breakers is now one of my FAVORITES 😍.

This hotel is pure luxury, historic and the beach is beautiful. We will surely return. Point to improve: the restaurants are not very good, and they are expensive.

Went to The Breakers on the evening of 7/5/2024 with a group of friends. Called ahead and requested special permission for a photographer to be present for photos of our friend who would be proposing. Permission was granted. At around 7pm, the security guard working the area of courtyard that leads down to the beach came out and aggressively attempted to ruin the pictures. Not sure of this security guards name. He was a bigger gentleman, black, around 6’3 - 6’4. He exhibited bizarre and aggressive behavior. A few minutes after he approached us, three other security guards came out and appeared to notice his abrasive attitude and asked him to leave. All around very bizarre encounter. Hopefully The Breakers takes some sort of action. Besides the disruption to our friends photos, it seems dangerous to have a security guard like this running around the property like a loose cannon.

Recently I visited Breakers Palm Beach which is a historic and luxurious oceanfront resort in Florida known for its impeccable service and stunning amenities .The service at The Breakers is often described as exceptional and attentive. The service was exceptional and attentive .The overall experience at The Breakers was one of luxury and elegance. I would really recommend others to visit here.

This hotel is super luxury with the beach back, Front

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this hotel is. I've been so blessed to visit a few times since my early 20s. The last visit was a Girls trip with just my Mom and I. Trip of a lifetime is a understatement. Every aspect of this hotel from the lobby, to the rooms to the NEXT LEVEL service is worthy of 10 stars. The service being the most fabulous. Every single restaurant, bar area, pool service, room service, lifeguards on duty, texting service and valet was pure perfection. Megan at HMF bar was a shining light of good energy and pure happiness that we loved so much, my mom and I went to visit her multiple times. Seafood bar bartenders so friendly and welcoming (shout out to Brandon who loves a good tequila like me). We ate lunch at Ocean House almost everyday. All those lovely ladies were so fabulous and greeted my mom and I every day with such good vibes. Perfect pool spot for lunch. Every morning we had friendly and helpful service with our pool chairs. We got ri see lifeguard training a few mornings which we respect so much. The Breakers is such a special place and these memories are priceless. Thank you and keep up the wonderful service you provide your guests the second the walk through those beautiful doors.

The Breakers counts as one of my top choices for hotels. The rooms are absolutely exquisite! The staff is amazing! There are great restaurants on site, and some luxury shops. Did not play any golf but heard that those courses were wonderful. We did not use the pools at all as our stay was quite short. Honestly, if you don't have any reason to leave the hotel I wouldn't. They have pretty much everything you need there. Plus, the beach is just a short walk.

I spent 4 days here for Mother’s Day and the valet staff broke my window leaver on my Porsche. THEY initiated this claim and said they broke by car, taped a note that the window should be touched, and on the last day the leaver disappeared. I have been waiting for over a week to hear back from the manager that initiated this claim for them to tell me they aren’t responsible. I’ve been calling and emailing to bring this matter to someone that resolve this. My car was surprised a day before I came to this property and my car was fine.

This place is unbelievable and the staff is always so professional and so accommodating. We spent most of our time at the yacht club. Great service, great atmosphere and views. I would definitely visit again with my family and friends.

Certainly a hotel that leaves nothing to be desired. We didn't like our room. The bathroom is separated from the room by a glass door. If someone has to use the bathroom next, the room is bright during the day. There was a closet with sliding doors that were so stiff that I always asked my husband to open them for me. The ambience of the hotel, on the other hand, is hard to beat. Just flair, for the highest demands. We also almost always had the great pools to ourselves. The immediate proximity of the Atlantic was breathtaking

My wife and I returned to The Breakers for another anniversary celebration, once again choosing to stay in The Flagler Club. In a word, it was “fantastic.” The recent room renovations are classy and efficient, making the standard room feel bigger while also still feeling like a true luxury space. The new beds are the best we have ever slept in at a hotel. We made use of the concierge team before the trip for all of our reservations, and they were always responsive and on top of all the details. Anytime they promised something would be done, it was. We also interfaced with them quite a bit during our stay, and they were just as impressive in person. Bernard, Kevin, Jonathan, Brook, and Zac were always pleasant and ready for anything we asked of them. The included breakfast every morning is a huge perk and may be the part of the trip I miss the most. They had a chef ready to make custom waffles, crepes, etc… while also having fresh pastries, fresh squeezed juices, and anything else we might have needed on hand. We both looked forward to it each morning, and it was excellent all four days. We used the house car, now an EV Maybach, for transportation to various places around town, and they were always responsive, prompt and pleasant. Matt, Joel, and Eddie were our drivers, and we have nothing but positive things to say about all three. Much like the concierge team, they were easy to talk to and always eager to help in any way they could. We rarely waited anywhere for them to arrive. It was like they would magically appear after we requested a ride. We visited Ocean House three times during our stay, and, Jahmal, who is a bartender on some days and a server on others, may be the most naturally joyous person we have ever met. When he smiles, he does so with his entire body. He is fantastic. Candice, whom we had met on our previous stay when she worked at HMF, also works at Ocean House now and is the perfect complement to Jahmal. It is rare we stay in a property and don’t have something to complain about, even if we don’t voice it. That was not the case here. There was not one thing we wish had been different other than the trip not going by as quickly as it did! We can’t wait to return one day!

Awesome place. Went for a couple of hours and walked around. They had their twice a year courtyard merchandise sale from all of their shops. Wonderful. Although we we only there for a couple of hours we were treated like VIPs. Very impressive.

Wonderful building and amazing service. Everything is crazy overpriced ($15 for a bottle of water and $15 for a cappuccino, 10 times their value!). It's the right place for people who love appearance more than substance. It's the perfect place even if you want to get sick and catch a cold because you have the vent of AC just over your head all night long. Very, very uncomfortable. Cleaning the AC vents and the couch (full of stains) in the rooms would be very appreciated.

OMG went for brunch. Expensive but well worth it

At Breakers, no wish remains unfulfilled! A fantastic experience! The room was nice. But a frosted glass door to the bathroom is annoying if someone wants to go to the bathroom at night. The light was very annoying. Our cupboard was very difficult to move and required a lot of force every time it was opened. The elevator is a bit unnerving. Because he requests room release from every single guest. If you arrive in the evening and don't want to dress up again, it's difficult to get anything to eat or drink. You also have to make reservations in all restaurants. Which is difficult when you're traveling for 12 hours.

First class hotel with terrific amenities, dining, and staff.

This is a really beautiful resort but personally, I’m not sure it’s worth the extremely high rates and it’s probably not a place I would rush back to. The rooms were very nice; the facilities are nice; but the beach is not great, and prices for food and drinks are really high.

I just got to town and I'm laying on the bed right now with the sun shining in. I always come here and I love the privacy of the place. Highly recommend, simply ask for privacy and they will go through all lengths to make sure no one knows you're there.

I didn’t stay at this hotel but the rooms start at $1.190 per night. I went to tour hotel for the historical experience. I absolutely love HISTORY! I learned about Mr. Flagler while in Key West last year. That sparked my interest in visiting this hotel. He has a very unique history in Florida and I suggest reading more about him. We did use valet and these gentleman were so very kind and respectful!! So immediately we had a wonderful experience. We arrived April 16 around 8:30-9am so it was this valet crew that I am referring. I do remember that Keith came over to open passenger the door for my friend because she went on and on about it. 😃 We also had the opportunity to meet Wilson who helps to maintain the grounds. I absolutely love gardening and was so impressed by its beauty and neatness. It was all immaculate!!!! Many times those who create the beauty we enjoy are overlooked and underpaid! Yet, they work the hardest! The hotel is simply beautiful and is a national historic landmark! There is so much to write about but it can all be found online. They do have golf course, and so much more. The staff members whom we encountered were very friendly. There are stores for shopping and several restaurants, bars, patio seating. BUT be careful of birds!!! One landed on my friend chair and stole her croissant!! 🤣🤣 It had so much skill that this could not have been its first rodeo!! They gave her a replacement. I had a very pleasant experience and may stay at hotel to get full experience upon my return to Florida. I highly recommend visiting this historical hotel and taking in all it has to offer.

Amazing resort! One of the best places we’ve been to. Nice and clean area, beautiful gardens with fountains, big parking lot and good coffee shop in the front of the hotel. Absolutely recommend for everyone who wants to have quality vacation time. 🙏🏽 There’s also a wonderful beach in front of the hotel, perfect for wedding ceremonies or birthday celebrations, romantic dates or family events. You can visit with kids or elderly relatives, place is going to be comfortable for any age. Restaurant is pricy but definitely worth it for the quality you’re getting and service from workers. Planning to come back this summer and will recommend everyone!

The breakers is the best of the best

This hotel deserves 5 Stars all the way across the board. We have been to so many resorts but this one definitely is at the very top. They attend to every need and want and it is truly a magical place from the moment you pull in the Palm Tree lined driveway. The pools, hot tubs and beach are amazing, all the restaurants are fabulous Seafood Bar is our favorite. For after dinner drinks and entertainment you have to go to HMF. The architecture and history is amazing. This place is truly magical and is like a second home to us. We got engaged here earlier this year.

This place has gone downhill in the last year. I used to go all the time, and EVERY single person was polished, professional, attentive, and on it! On top of it, it was my birthday, and we had the worst waitress in the history of hospitality. She was rude, careless, disrespectful, and arrogant. I am impressed that such a classy place has somebody like that working there. The manager (Christian) made it up for us, bringing me cake and being very sweet, but the damage was done, and I will not return to this lovely atmosphere with bad employees.

Though the initial experience was not to standards, The Hotel did their best to make it right. In the end, they corrected the initial concern and made sure I was satisfied, this is a sign of a Great Hotel!

Stay away from the restaurant. This is one of those cheesy places that underpays their staff and then puts in a 20% tip on your bill. Plus, to add insult to injury, they charge tax on the amount including the overinflated tip. I’m sure they only pay tax to the government on the amount without the tip.

A very nice hotel with good service, but not the kind of guests that used to come herr. Long distance swimmers monopolizing the lap pool for hours and not sharing their lane, guests speaking loudly on their cell phones on speaker, guests dictating emails loudly, I could go on and on. Staff should not only make sure no one is eating by the pools and beach, but that guests have a certain polite decorum. Shocking at this price point people do not know how to behave

Toured the Breakers Hotel, we decided to have a drink at the restaurant with the bar is that aquarium..the drinks were great but expensive..just an fyi.. a service charge is added to your bill.

DON'T visit or tour here! I was profiled and falsely accused by the police and security team at this establishment, which is surprisingly a common occurrence here. Almost everybody involved was rude in the process. This all happened on 3/4/24 between 12-2 pm. There were three people involved, a stoutly Caucasian older male employee, a middle aged African American man, and a lean, tall, older Caucasian police officer. The Caucasian employee ordered me to go on his golf cart, refusing to tell me what reason I was being interrogated. I made a joke to defuse the situation, which was not taken lightly. The police officer snapped at me several times during the interrogation, and questioned me incessantly. We wasted a good part of an hour doing this, where I had to explain I was merely visiting. When they realized they had the wrong person, they sheepishly let me go. The crime? Somebody had stolen a drink from the pool deck two hours ago, and I supposedly matched the description (I was wearing black pants). I don't understand the necessity of the hostility for such an accusation, and it was worse with the fact that the police officer violated my constitutional rights by refusing to answer questions about what crime I was being questioned for. TLDR: Do NOT visit here if you just want to see the sights. If you want to tour the hotel and be treated with respect, make sure you pay the $1,300 + first.

The Breakers is an extremely special, high-end luxury resort on the Palm Beach coast that offers the finest of food, ambiance, and amenities. Extremely safe with a large security presence on-site and exquisite architectural styling and history in every direction. Reception, housekeeping, and wait staff all work hard to provide the highest 5+ star levels of service... gave only a four star rating, though, since the coffee shop staff seemingly competed to be the surliest to every guest, each day we were there. Is this where team members get sent when they can't be fired? The gardening and cleanliness are impeccable... the golf courses are well groomed and enjoyable to play. While it doesn't feel like a second 'home' like a few other places... Four Seasons in Maui, for example, would never tolerate the consistently rude gift coffee shop staff we observed at The Breakers... we hope to be back since it is extremely enjoyable in so many other ways. A special thanks to the friendliness of the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping teams.

Had the worst experience trying to have a drink at the bar. We had a dinner reservation so we only had about 45 minutes but we thought it would be enough time to have a drink. We waited 40 minutes for our server to bring our drink and we asked for our bill so we could literally drink quickly and leave. She brought us someone else’s bill and card. We told her it wasn’t us and then she went back to look for our card. She came back after a bit and asked us if we were sure that our card wasn’t returned to us. It wasn’t! She had taken it!! Finally she admitted that she didn’t have it and didn’t know where it was. We had to call the credit card company and cancel our card which made travel plans difficult. We will never go back and will not recommend to any of our friends!

Expensive but beautiful hotel with lovely views. The best feature was hearing the breakers with an open window at night. The desk service was fine. Nothing remarkable but solid. Housekeeping was excellent and it’s nice to see hotels keeping turndown service. The evening pillow chocolates were full on chocolate bars and very good. While, they have a couple of nice and very expensive restaurants, the gift shop where sandwiches and smoothies were available was a nice option for light meals and snacks at a very reasonable price

Christmas Dinner 2023 in The Ponce DeLeon Ballroom . Our family tradition recently for the past 6 years! We had our Parents 50 Wedding Anniversary on Christmas Day many many years ago and on and off we have celebrated Christmas Day at The Breakers! Spectacular Christmas Celebration! The ambiance, decor and atmosphere! The reservation process is efficient and easy. The service from the valet to the Host is always warm and welcoming. Exemplary service from all assisting in our experience. The Buffet was beautiful. The music added to the experience. Just wish they would actually put a dance floor down. For $375. per person you want to be able to dance safely and not on a rug. I have to say everything was very good but every year the price goes up but the buffet options get smaller or condensed. Must have a new F&B Director! We definitely missed a few options… the large display of breads, rolls and cheese, a large array of grilled vegetables and other dishes they didn’t serve this year. After dinner we always go to HMF for after dinner drinks and we love the Chocolate Martini! No matter what, we enjoyed all we had! It is truly more about the overall experience which is 5 Star! We will continue to attend as our family tradition allows.. I highly recommend!

The Breakers is truly one of a kind. Luxury, yes, but rich with history, beauty and top notch service. It's expensive, but people gladly pay those high prices. One way to enjoy The Breakers without spending a lot of money is to stop by and have a drink or a snack in the bar. Self parking is available and free, employees are friendly and there is elegance everywhere you go on premises. We loved seeing all the lovely Christmas decorations on this visit.

Christmas tea at HMF in the hotel was absolutely everything you would expect. Everyone in our party is vegetarian and, knowing this ahead of time, the very talented Chef Joey created a special menu just for us. It was delicious and well presented in an atmosphere of relaxation and holiday elegance. This will be a new tradition for us!

We attended the Christmas lunch buffet and did not stay at the hotel as such. Judging from the enormous crowds, we were glad that we did not have a room at the hotel and were ready to escape after some touring of the common areas and our lunch. The lobby and common areas are spectacular and have an old world vibe to it which makes even more sense after having spent time at the Flagler museum. The buffet itself was average, nothing to brag about the food. We agreed that it was nice to have experienced it once but was not palatable enough to inspire repeating. The service staff was very friendly and eager to assist. All in all, we would recommend a visit to tour the common areas and perhaps sit down for a cup of coffee, everything else is optional.

What else can you say about the Breakers Hotel other than it is simply gorgeous. You will see nothing like it anywhere anymore. The Breakers Hotel shows you the true meaning of luxury at its best. You will be transported into a time that has long since passed but still with all the modern amenities that one loves.

We went for dinner to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our first date. We ate in the Seafood Bar which doesn't take reservations. At 5:30 on a Wednesday night the wait was about 25 minutes. You may or may not have sticker shock as it is a bit pricey.

Best hotel in the area, nothing negative about it. They even charged our Tesla. The concierge service is truly personalized and the best.

We frequently visit The Breakers to provide hair and makeup services for guests. The rooms are incredibly spacious with gorgeous lighting, and the views are absolutely stunning. The staff is fantastic, and if you haven't been to The Breakers, let me tell you, it's a beautiful hotel with countless photo opportunities and a truly magnificent place. We've also dined at many of the restaurants on site , and the food is great too! It's always a great time working here. 5 stars! *****

the rooms are the same as a hotel that costs around $300/$500 per night!! In my opinion, it's not worth $5000 a night to have the ocean view and a tiny balcony, honestly it's more status and fame than quality itself!! The service and attention of the staff is excellent, the decoration attracts attention due to the details and antiquity, although the wallpaper on the floor I was on was horrible!! In the restaurant I ate inside the hotel, the food was very simple and without much care with the seasoning (2 out of 10), I tried some cocktails and they were also bad (2 out of 10)

Stunning hotel. Everyone was knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. This hotel has so much that you genuinely could check in and not leave the property for a week. My suite was extremely clean and housekeeping came twice daily, which was very nice. Also, thank you for having both a Menorah and Christmas tree displayed :)
