Customer service sucks! Ordered over the phone. I was told it would take 10 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to get there. I waited an additional 16 minutes in drive thru before anyone even acknowledged my presence. After one waitress finally came to the window she told me it wasn't ready and that I could loop back through the drive thru. What? 31 minutes later and the meal still isn't ready? When I explain those to the waitress she gets an attitude as if I, the paying customer, have done something wrong. She leaves abruptly and comes back a few minutes later with the food and leaves. By the time I look up to ask if I could have some butter, she was gone. I had to flag down another waitress to get it. Sounds bad right? But wait... it gets worse. After I get home and settled, open up the container...I find food that isn't even cooked through properly. Unbelievable. RUN FROM THIS PLACE. I will NEVER return here.

Got sick after last visit. Will not return

The waffle didn't come out as the menu stated. Cinnamon was a weird flavor with chocolate chips(menu said powdered sugar). Grits were excellent, and biscuits and gravy were good....biscuits a little burnt. Will try again as maybe we just went on an off day.

Loved it! I even special ordered a sandwich and made just like I asked. Seems to be a family owned restaurant and I love supporting those. Price was really fair. Loved it. Will go again. Oh and the server was awesome and on top of her game.

Stoped in while out exploring Lake Wales The food was really good , server's was sweet and kept with our refills . Kinda a cute place, like the drawings on the walls , Found Sponge Bob on the wall going for breakfast ,got a giggle from it . Wish I took some pictures..Good place for breakfast ,good on price too , For me and my husband it was about $22. We will be back

My papa brought me here for a special breakfast. I ordered the pancakes, they were more like hard cakes. Our waitress was pleasant. But really how do you screw up pancakes?

I only gave 1 star because ya have to in order to review. So I slogged through the rain today from the parking lot at apprx 145pm. The big red we're open sign on. Get in the door only to be told we're closed cause we don't have enough customers. I said we'll I'm here ready to pay. Sir I'm sorry we're closed. I said well turn off the open sign so nobody else has to get soaked. Ya know what they about 2nd impressions. They won't get one. Bob Evans gladly took my money. So much for helping a small family owned local business right? With those practices, can't wait until it turns back into Arby's!

Stumbled upon this family restaurant on my way to Tampa. No frills great food and super friendly staff and owners. Definitely stop by while driving thru.

The food was okay, i ordered the wings and i was a bit underwhelmed.but the staff was extremely nice. One woman complimented my wife's eye color and made her day so that was really nice. For the staff alone i give 5 stars.

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling. It was okay..I would avoid the home fries. Other than that it was mid priced and the food portions were nice sized... Staff friendly

This place was not good. It was kind of dirty and the food was pretty bad. I never thought you could screw up French toast but they found a way. The coffee was so strong it grabbed on to my lip and wouldn't let go. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the staff were really nice. This is one of those local places that you think might be good but isn't.

This is a must-eat location in Lake Wales. Service is always quick and kind, the food is great and filling, and the wait times are usually short. I have been going here every time I visit and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid breakfast!

The omelet was very good but the home fries need some work.

Just be prepared to eat whatever the cook feels like making, irreguardless to what's on the menu. No mattet what you ask for or how you want it they do what ever they want to your food then over charge you for it. The servers are nice and very sweet. The cooks obviously cannot read. And management does not give two craps about what type of service they give because they always have an attitude. I used to love this place. But it is beginning to quickly go downhill.

I had such high hopes for this place. So many people told us about it so one Saturday while we were in Lake Wales, we were excited to go. We live in Winter Haven and often frequent Big Tom's Diner, so we were expecting something similar, or dare I say.... better. Boy, were we wrong. Food was BLAND and seemed mass produced. Reminded me of cafeteria food where it's edible, but not good. There was no feeling of love or homemade cooking. Everything was single serve, like the maple syrupt and the containers for the coleslaw. Ordered a waffle and the "fruit" that was described in the menu ended up being jam with some bits of what used to be fruit. Don't even get me started on THE RANCH! Worse than Hidden Valley, no homemade touch... Fabricated, just like the rest of this place. My husband got a hamburger and ordered it medium. It was so raw that I had to spit out the bite I had. I have NEVER done that before. We're not picky people, but this place is OVERPRICED, COLD and TASTELESS. One good thing was the coffee... I guess that deserves the star. SAVE MONEY AND ENJOY MORE... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR... Take a drive to WH and go to Big Tom's Diner!!!
