This place is my very favorite place, in the whole world, to spend a summer afternoon. Delicious food and drink, super casual, family-friendly atmosphere. It is especially delicious after a morning of hiking in Upstate NY.

Such a great brewery and place to hang out. Bartenders were awesome and super knowledgeable! Would recommend this place 10/10!

Thanks to Christine for the spectacular Brewery Tour. Well worth the price of admission with a free custom beer glass and 4 samples of the beers on tap. We learned so much about Southern Tier Brewing and the art of beer. Highest recommendation to take the tour if you are within 50 miles of Lakewood, NY.

First time here and everything is great. Bartender was very helpful, beer tasting was good, and the weather was perfect for the outdoor patio.

What a cool spot! Food was fantastic, love the atmosphere, architecture is beautiful. Don’t love having to go up to the counter to order every drink or food, servers would be nice, but not the end of the world – we will definitely come back.!

Food choices are pretty minimal. We got the nachos. Over half the chips were not edible they tasted and ate like plastic. I'm not sure if they were under cooked or what. The meat was so dry it looked more like jerky. Def will not be eating here again. Beer was good they outside area is great with good band. Def a whole lot of kids running around felt more like a daycare then a brewery special since not a one parent was actually supervising, at one point while walking around had to avoid a landscaping rock that was being winged at random (several rock throwers). The stones course is pretty neat and would be fun to try!

I was nervous when I saw that the indoor area was super packed but service was incredibly fast, efficient and friendly. There was a great live band outside for entertainment and Mike served up some great pints.

The tap room for Southern Tier Brewery serves great bar food, and better beer, in an environment of indoor, outdoor covered, and outdoor uncovered seating options. Between weeknight trivia and live music on the weekends, it is just a phenomenal place to recharge and relax. The beer is made-on-site fresh, and they offer a great variety, including special event drafts, limited runs, and their year-round standards. They also offer canned cocktails made in their distillery across the street. Food specials during the week make it a place you can visit frequently, and the beer taps change often. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, and the only ordering option is at the bar, which can back up, though they do bring the food out to your table when it is done.

The bartenders are terrific and the music is always great! We miss the old food menu and sauces SO much! Often times we would pick the brewery to grab a bite to eat and stick around for beers after. Since the menu change, we are there less frequently and order far less food. The bartenders will always keep us coming back. Oh yeah, and PLEASE bring back the old chips!

What a great experience, got here right when they opened and our food was out in less than 10 minutes. Love the Orange Twist beer, you need to try the tacos from Courtney in the kitchen, yum! Todd was a very personable bartender and knew all his stuff!

Everyone has had their beers but this is the og brewery experience with excellent drafts, great food and lots of fun including live music and games like stones. If you don’t make it a regular stop, you blew it.
