If we could give zero stars, we would. Do not trust this place to handle your wedding! We sent an inquiry via email about very specific dates for a very intimate wedding and they responded, “we do have dates available for all of 2024.” We scheduled the tour and when we were getting ready to put a deposit down, we were told none of the dates we asked about are available. They said they might be able to make our preferred date work but they already have three weddings that weekend. During the tour, we discussed pricing for plated dinners and the fee to use their property. We also inquired about the “Special Venue Fee” and Stacey nearly stumbled over her words and was not willing to entertain our question any further. From their website: “Getting married in 2024? Asks us about our "Special Venue Fee" with a signed contract during your tour. Transparent pricing with great flexibility to craft your perfect wedding day.” They are not transparent about one single thing. They lie to you to get you on their property. Stacey never got back to us when she said she would. We had to follow-up with her and when we did, they gave us some astronomical quote explaining they can make our preferred date available but they have minimums (which is nowhere on their website and Stacey never explained that to us during our tour when she knew we were looking at about 30 guests). The plated dinner rate of $170 that she told us during our tour went up to $275. She never told us there’s a separate ceremony fee the day of our tour. It’s clear as day they wanted us to be the ones to say no instead of being respectable and letting us know they can’t do a fourth wedding that weekend. If they weren’t interested in an intimate wedding, they could have responded letting us know they have a minimum requirement instead of playing games.

The Farm is such a special place. My wife and I were going to get married in Tuscany, Italy, but our plans were curtailed, and we thought we would never find a place to replicate what we were going for. Then we met Steve and Candice and their wonderful family. Before even trying Steve's truly farm-to-table specialty, we were blown away by the immaculate landscape, animals, and love put into the regenerated farm. The cuisine is out of this world and Steve is a true master in the kitchen. Candice, with her green thumb and the flowers she grows at the farm that complement a perfect setting, make them a powerhouse couple! My wife and I are huge foodies, and this was at the top of our list of must-haves. Aside from an amazing day, they also have farmhouse accommodations that can sleep full families. One of the homes has a pool which is amazing, and butts up to the Appalachian Trail. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend escape or the most magical wedding in New Jersey.

I absolutely love this place. The owners are lovely. The views and the overall vibes are magnificent. The food is beyond delicious. A truly wonderful place to visit.

A stunning location, with equally fantastic food. A true farm to table gem set in the picture perfect landscape of Vernon Valley. We’ve had many farm dinners here, and each time, the chef wows us in unexpected ways! Tonight we had a beautiful raw radish with wild ramp butter and a soft scrambled farm egg as an amuse buche. The appetizer was their spectacular charcuterie board with homemade fresh from the farm whipped ricotta and pickled veg-not to mention the perfectly cured meat. The salad course was fresh and delicious with Parmesan cheese and crispy pancetta. Our entree was roasted chicken (a French breed) with a chicken Demi, whipped parsnip purée and perfect baby carrots. For desert-a strawberry trifle that just tasted of springtime! It’s a perfect way to spend an evening in a working farm-and to marvel at the bounty it offers! Will definitely return!

The farm was the first venue we visited, and it was also the last. We fell in love that day and never looked back. Food is really important to us, and the farm was perfect. It was as close at it gets to a true "farm to table" experience, right on the property. All of their ingredients are either sourced from the farm itself, or other local ingredients. Steve, the chef, works with you directly to figure out the menu, and that process was really fun! The barn itself is the perfect setting for the "rustic chic" vibe that we were going for. It's gorgeous on its own and didn't require much for decoration, although working with Candice on the decor was easy and fun. We also stayed on the property that weekend (with our wedding party) and the accommodations were both luxurious and cozy/intimate. Working with Steve & Candice was a true pleasure, and we can't wait to go back for a farm dinner (they do those too!) soon. They also have an open farm market on weekends from 11-4 --- we highly recommend stopping by for farm raised meats, eggs, vegetables, honey, and so much more. <3

My husband and I had the most wonderful wedding day at the farm in mid-October. Despite a very rainy day, the day was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. Our experience from the moment we booked with the farm until the moment our day was over, was absolutely top notch. Steve and Candice are true professionals and are so passionate about what they do and their passion is what made our experience with them so great. They were so helpful during the planning process and helped us shape our day to be exactly what we wanted it to be. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and made for a beautiful backdrop. The food was some of the best food I have ever eaten and my guests could not stop commenting on it, and are still commenting on it over a month later! Candice did my flowers for the day and they were so stunning and exactly what I wanted - simple and elegant. The Farm is an amazing place to have your big day and to share with your friends and family!

Steve and Candice were wonderful! It was so helpful to have so few vendors because The Farm took care of the food, flowers, ceremony and reception set up and breakdown and coordinated for cake and alcohol for us. We chose the farm initially because we could see how much attention was paid to detail, including the farm to table dinner experience and the beautifully restored barn. Even knowing this, The Farm and their team really blew us away! So many of our guests have continued to rave about the food and the beauty of the place. We loved getting married at the Farm and wouldn't have changed a thing - we can't wait to be back for a private farm dinner!

My birthday wish came true when I purchased the farm to table dinner tickets! Words can’t describe how enjoyable the evening was! The perfect September evening topped off the impeccable menu and the best gift of all was the up close and personal visit from the highland cows! Wow, wow, wow! Incredible evening on the farm, the meal was delicious and beautiful. A visit from the chef came with each course describing how all food was sourced from their farm. Love the atmosphere each time I visit!

New Jersey is the garden state and home of the wonderful The Farm at Glenwood Mountain farm to table dinner. I received the invite for the dinner, and being a foodie, I had to go. Stepping foot onto the farm, seeing the lush green grass, the hydrangeas bursting with color I came upon some guests already seated at long barn wood tables. First course, courtesy of Chef Maclean, delicious gazpacho. Next up a charcuterie board like I have never seen before - it was the length of the table and each item was so tasty. The fresh ricotta drizzled with honey was amazing. Third course was Fried Green Tomato sitting on a corn puree - fantastic. Took a break from eating and walked around the farm. I was dying to see the Jersey Highland cows up close, but they were too far out in the field. Chef delivered free range chicken with pancetta crisp nestled on a rutabaga puree - outstanding! Of course there was dessert to finish off the evening, which was Honey Ricotta Cheesecake with caramel apple and candied nuts. The perfect ending for a perfect meal. At the end Chef MacLean brought out the staff that helped to prepare our delicious meal. Applause all around. The meal was fantastic, the people at my table were so nice and we all enjoyed sharing a meal together. I have told everyone I know to get on the list and go to one of his dinners. I am hoping he does one in the fall, as I would love to see the colors change on the farm. Thank you Steve Maclean for making these dinners happen. #thenjfarm

I can't say enough how much my wife and I enjoyed dining at The Farm at Glenwood Mountain last week. It was a five star gourmet experience not to be found anywhere else in Sussex County. Master Chief Steve Mclean and his wife Candice always provide excellent "Farm to Table" fare presented with incredible care. The flavors and taste combinations are creative and delicious. In good weather dining outdoors is wonderful, and in colder weather the beautifully renovated barn is a cozy place to dine. Don't forget the 100% organic farm store located there as well with vegetables, chicken, eggs, fresh cheese, heirloom turkeys, pork, steaks and much more. We LOVE the Farm at Glenwood Mountain!! The farm dinner at the Farm at Glenwood Mountain is the most incredible experience. The food is outstanding. The view and setting are beautiful. The people are wonderful. And did I mention the food? Chef Steve is a genius. The ingredients are grown on the farm and what he does with them is magic. Do not miss!

What a fantastic farm to table dinner with beautiful surroundings and some really, really creative good food. Their business model is super and every time we go they have added to the character of their farm. Our favorite date night and we go as often as we can! Always a fantastic time!!!!

I recently photographed a wedding at The Farm at Glenwood Manor and was thoroughly impressed. The grounds are picturesque, offering diverse and stunning photo ops. The natural light during golden hour was a dream come true for capturing perfect moments. Staff were accommodating, ensuring a smooth day for all. Highly recommend for any couple looking to make lasting memories.

Steve and Candice were genuine and so pleasant from the beginning. They were helpful, responsive and you can tell they really care about your special day. My (now) husband and I knew from the moment we saw their venue that it was the one! They answered all of our questions over the year or so of planning, and made us feel so comfortable coming to them with ideas or stupid questions along the way. As two young(er) people being the first in their families to get married, we felt so at ease knowing they were there to help. When the day got here, we knew we were in good hands. From the moment we showed up to the moment we said goodnight, we could NOT stop thanking them and their entire team the incredible night they put together. Our families won't stop raving about the food and the ambiance, and it's so clear they are people who put their heart and soul into their work. We are so pleased with our experience with them, we would highly recommend to anyone looking to book their special day.

I had my wedding at the farm at the end of July and grateful to say it was the best day of my life. The wedding was the first time we were able to gather with many of our friends and family, who we hadn’t seen since before the pandemic, and so the event did double duty as a reunion. We chose the farm among a group of venues in rural settings because we wanted a spectacular atmosphere and a retreat like vibe. One thing that distinguishes the farm is that there is nowhere else that brings such sophistication to their product. Now a few weeks removed, I still get texts on a daily basis from attendees who say this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended because of the guest experience. You will not find better food at any venue and that’s due to the culinary craft of chef Steve, as well as the sourcing of ingredients that are infinitely better than what you can buy in a grocery store. We also experienced a degree of care that you only get when the owners are running the day-to-day operation and everything from flower arrangements to day of coordination is done in-house. We had our ceremony scheduled onsite and moved the location because of the rain forecast just a few hours before it took place. The result was a beautiful cocktail hour under a sunny sky in the herb garden, followed by a cooled off ceremony on the great lawn, and everyone was in the barn just a few minutes before the heavens opened up. Rain or shine, heat wave or not, the farm is an incredible venue and we are indelibly grateful to them for making our special day special beyond our loftiest expectations. If someone asks me for suggestions in planning their wedding, I’ll recommend the farm… looking for an excuse to come back soon!

For us it was worth the trip,We went to a reception in a converted barn, it has creative wow factor.Food was delicious,staff was great,owner watching over the whole affair. We will come back and try a couple's dinner night.

Very nice place to have a wedding or any party. The owner is the chef and everyone there is so friendly, you wouldn't believe it. The food is excellent and best of all it's grown there on the farm. They have a store there for you to purchase whatever they have that's in season.

The Farm at Glenwood Mountain is one of the most exquisite wedding venues in the northeast, this spoken by a wedding officiant who over the last 15 years has worked at hundreds of venues in this part of the country. It's where elegance meets country meets culinary excellence meets quality service and warmth.

Stopped in for the first time this weekend. What a gem that we can purchase locally raised meat and produce. I met the owners and they were very nice, friendly and all around seem like great people. We will definitely be back. Can't wait to try one of the dinners!

My husband and I just had our wedding there and it was better then I could have ever imagined! We had such a wonderful experience. Candace went above and beyond with all the flower arrangements. She totally understood me and brought my inspirations to life. The food was incredible! Multiple guest of mine said it was the best meal they had ever had!
