Really good little family owned seafood restaurant in Carrabelle. Friendly staff. We've enjoyed the food every time we've went. Make sure to get a slice of one of their desserts!

Food was great. Service was nice and didn’t mind us staying after we finished our meal to catch up with friends.

Small restaurant along highway and a view of the Gulf. Very small dining room. Great service. Had only 1 waitress during lunch (not on purpose) and she was able to keep all of the food and orders going. Food was good. Had fried grouper and it was cokked well. Cheese grits were good. Definitely no frills.

DEFinitely overpriced, could use some soul food seasoning and the vibe was just uncomfortable (cuz I'm brown?). If we go back to fish we'll bring a grill.

We went for Breakfast this Morning and after 35 minutes still didn't get our Breakfast. Really! We walked out.

Prices are whack for the quality and quantity of food they give you. Got the "seafood platter", it is not a platter, it is a plate and definitely not enough for two people. Me and my brother both got sick after eating this, pretty sure it was the oysters on the plate. The crab cake is good but very thin. Everyone else said they're food wasn't horrible but was bland. Would not eat here again.

Our one night out for dinner while on vacation. Seating open, service was ok… polite but not as attentive as I would have preferred. Most dishes seemed to be priced close to what I see elsewhere, except the one I wanted, obviously. Food was very good, though. Would definitely visit again, but I’ll be more careful on what I order. ☺️

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I had fried green tomatoes and the oyster basket. These were the best fried oysters I've had in a long time. The place is quaint and lovely...just like Mom would want.

We ordered the 2 seafood item dinner. Grouper and Scallops. Sir/Ma'am you cannot fool this Florida Girl into thinking those were scallops. They were some other fish you were passing off as scallops. Shame on you! The grits were thick as paste. The Grouper and the scallops tasted old. They were not fresh and yet the water is right across the street. I could not eat either entrée items they were so fishy tasting. Fresh Grouper and Fresh Scallops are not fishy tasting. I eat them every week in addition to Catfish. Will drive to Family Coastal next time.

My husband and I was leaving St George Island Florida and stopped by this neat lil spot.. Omggggggg it’s amazing with a family atmosphere and feel.. The food was amazing and the waitress Sam was the absolute best!!!! If u in the area do hesitate to try this place♥️

When we arrived out looked decent outside. Stepped in and there was no where to stand or sit got told to move twice as we were in the way. There definitely needs to be some outside waiting area or something built. Waitress was nice, but it was so hot in there I couldn't focus on anything. From looking around 10 tables or less in the place and if you have a party of 6 you get an automatic gratuity of 15% anymore than 4 is a struggle and table moves either way. The up side the food was fantastic, everything we got was solid and taste great. If I were to do it again I would do a call in order.

Whitest fish I’ve ever had 2 people for lunch was $70 without any alcohol. If u like bland fish and soggy shrimp it’s the place for you.

The food was amazing. This was the second time we had eaten there. Our server Rose was ready to make sure we had everything we needed.

We had dinner here one afternoon the food was great. The hamburger and hamburger steak was so good and juicy. The shrimp and seafood was very good too. Then we ate Breakfast here the next morning, the food was good also.

Everything was great. We love the place. We go there at least 2 times whenever we are in Carrbelle.

Love this place visited Carrabelle from Miami and feel In love with this town I came to this restaurant twice while here and was amazing food amazing staff everything was great can’t complain will definitely come again

Great small fishing town local Hotspot. They have a decent selection and steady crowd. Wait staff are super friendly. The shrimp po boy sandwich was good, but it needed a sauce or dressing. The hushpuppies were tremendous some of the best ever. Absolutely worth a stop if you are in the area.

We always get our orders to go and take off to Wayside Park and the beach. The grandkids can be picky at times but they love Fisherman's Wife. I find the seafood to be tasty and delicious. It's Awesome! The cole slaw on our last visit just didn't agree with me so I won't be ordering that anymore. The fries are always fresh and hot and there are other sides to be had.

Excellent food and cooked perfectly! Fried shrimp was lightly battered and very good size. Too much for me to eat. They give you plenty! Sides excellent too. Hubby had grilled Grouper and loved it!

My wife and I got the fried seafood platter and everything on it was fantastic. The shrimp and crabcake were some of the best we've ever had. Will definitely be back next time I'm in this area.

I stopped in for breakfast. I always keep it simple: scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuit, and coffee. I like my eggs scrambled a particular way and not every hashslinger wants to follow my instructions. The cook here did comply with my request and the eggs were perfectly cooked. I chose the house home fries, and they were excellent; crispy exterior, soft interior. The biscuit was good as was the coffee. The food was worthy of 5 stars. The only reason I knocked off a star was because when I got my to-go coffee, it had a cold drink lid on it (and I wasn't even given a straw!). I think they are fairly new to the breakfast scene and haven't yet purchased hot lids.

It’s been a year since we have eaten here and they have really upped their game. Customer service was impeccable. Love the grouper sandwich and pies are made in house 💜. We will be back soon and can’t wait to try breakfast there.

Food was ok. Service was terrible. Only 2 servers with full house seating. Missed part of an order and didn't bring missing dish until we had all finished eating. Grouper was fair, cole slaw was good. Wife liked her shrimp quesadilla. Sweet & spicy sauce for chicken tasted like pancake syrup. Would not recommend and will not return.

Absolutely the best breakfast in town. They make the best French Toast I have ever had. Great food, wonderful coffee and fast friendly service.

Well, Miss Cinnamon made me eat my words! On this return make-up visit, I received a piping hot baked potato and a generous portion of perfectly cooked grouper. Miss Cinnamon personally called me to rectify the disappointment, and I decided to give the establishment another chance. Thank you for your consideration and professionalism. You've won me over as a customer. Best wishes for success and prosperity in the future! ..............This is a seafood restaurant that doesn't know how to cook seafood. My entre was so dry and tough that I couldn't bite into it. To add insult to injury, the management doesn't care a thing about its customers. I spent over $80 and they couldn't care less how poorly prepared my meal was. I won't ever go back and would not recommend going to a place that doesn't care about its customers because this attitude would reflect on everything you can't see also.

Real good experience with this restaurant. Sam, our waitress, was very friendly and checked on us several times. The food was very good and desert and coffe also. I would recommend you stop by for supper or breakfast or dinner 😆 👍🏾🙂

We stopped in on a whim and LOVED it. We're just in town for a week's vacation, but we'll work in another visit here. I ordered the Grilled Hodge Podge - grilled chicken, potatoes, carrots, green beans, red pepper, onions, covered in melted cheese. And key lime pie. Service is superb too. I highly recommend a stop in.

Y'all! This is the best breakfast in Franklin County! Hubby had a seafood omelet that was very delicious and then the French toast! Oh my! We will definitely be back! Thank you Rose for your fabulous service!

The flounder plate on Friday was amazing! We seen that yall started serving breakfast, so we returned on Sunday. The breakfast was great! I was glad to see yall serve real eggs! The country potatoes were amazing. We will be back!!!

Very small portions served for breakfast. Where's the rest of the omelet? $12. I expect a pretty big omelet. Tiny 2 egg omelet at best, pretty stingy with the hash browns as well. Come on people, hashbrowns are cheap. Put some on the plate! $30 plus for two diners. I expect to be full when I leave.👎

All the people with me said food was excellent! The waitress forgot some things but. Kinda expected a better atmosphere than a old house.

Highly recommended! This is a great little humble, homey restaurant, the staff- Rose, Starla & Sam were all very attentive & friendly. We had an amazing seafood & veggie omelet with hashbrowns, bacon & biscuit, french toast, flounder filet with fries & huspuppies- all very good. We took a piece of one of their delicious homemade pie (it was hard to choose from so many choices)

Always good food, clean restaurant, Angie our server is always nice, friendly and helpful. Scallops are good, shrimp are good. When in the area, I will go back.

It is a family style restaurant boasting of local seafood. What I was served and what they are selling at the local market is not the same. I ordered the jumbo shrimp and scallops. The shrimp were small and both were over cooked and so salty they were almost inedible. The grilled veggies were fantastic. I would not recommend.

The service at this restaurant was awesome! Our waitress was very friendly and took good care of us. To top it off, when I left my wallet there, they tried hard to get a hold of me before we got to far. Unfortunately, I didn't get their messages, and didn't notice it missing until they were about closed. I was able to get my wallet back in the morning, safe and sound, and they wouldn't even take a reward!

4 people dining. All 3 veggie sides were cold. 2 Shrimp dinners cold. 2 stuffed snapper warm. Crab cake basket was cold. Mullet appetizer was excellent. Each meal approx $40. Partly my fault for not telling waitress although she never asked.

Catfish is NOT supposed to be served raw!!! Scallops were tough. Shrimp not great either. Tried this place on drive through Carabelle. For better quality stick to Port St Joe restaurants. WAY better...

Excellent little diner! I had blackened grouper with a baked potato and my wife had fried grouper with fries. Both were prepared well and were very tasty. We were too full to try any of the desserts. Definitely a good place for a meal!

Grouper poor boy with fries. Fish was very fresh. Order got confused in kitchen , was brought a shrimp poor boy sand had to wait a few minutes for grouper. Staff very polite. Here for 10 days, will return to Fisherman's wife to try the chowder

I had the platter of PERFECTLY COOKED cod, shrimp, scallops, oysters hush puppies and a crab cake. Hard to find such a place these days...you won't be disappointed.

We eat there a few times a year. Always good. Older place. Neat clean. Great sea food. Most is locally caught. Remember that the hole in the wall places in the nature coast of Florida have the best sea food. Not always the best looking places but as always check the parking lot. Lots of cars good. Food. But as i travel i always look for great hole in the wall places . Why go to chain restaurants all the time. ? Experience local food

We ordered the fisherman’s platter blackened. When received it was only grilled and barely had any salt or pepper on it. It lacked flavor. It’s a shame to see this seafood place slide downhill.

Stopped in for lunch based on reviews. Atmosphere was a little different but still wanted to give it a try. Ordered two seafood baskets, one fried one blackened. The blackened (Cod) was very blahh and kinda mushy, okra was great. The fried (Grouper) was better but seemed like it was just fried without any seasoning, cheese grits were ok. Service was good! Wouldn’t recommend eating here based off this experience.

Cute place! Low key, laid back and comfortable. We had the CMos burger.... Onion ring, bacon, cheese and their homemade sauce which is ranch/BBQ and it's SOOOOO GOOD! Prices are very reasonable! If you're driving along the Big Bend Scenic drive, you won't find anywhere else with good food at good prices!

Went there with family from out of town. They don't get fresh seafood. In Florida we don't get the fresh beef they get. It was Sunday and the restaurant was open. Special was flounder basket available sides plus hushpuppies. Sweet and fresh filets cooked perfectly. $17.00. Three of us got that!

Understaffed overworked and unfortunately, cooks are new, so they aren't good cooks. They do know how to fry shrimp....but keep in mind, you won't get anything homemade here. It all comes in big buckets, from a big box store that deliveres. Mayo, ketchup, pickles etc. Never ever try to order fresh produce.

Definitely worth the 430 mile trip to have lunch here! Best scallops I've had in a long long time. Husband had a fish sandwich that was yummy too. Actually, our purpose in riding down from East Tennessee was to get a picture at the world's smallest police station but I'd go back anytime to get those scallops. #harleydavidson #HOG #wheresjojo

This was the first time I've been to the Fisherman's Wife in a long time. In the past, this was one of the best seafood restaurants on the Forgotten Coast. After my experience Saturday, I doubt I'll ever go back. I went inside and ordered a to go shrimp basket. The hostess (Emma) acted like I ruined her day by placing the order. She scowled the entire time. While waiting on my order, I overheard some partons complain about the amount of flies in the restaurant and moved tables because of it. I heard the cooks say my to go order was ready. Five minutes passed after my order was ready before the waitress had to track down Emma to bring me my order. The shrimp and hushpuppies were excellent. The fries were typical institutional frozen fries and bland. In summary, good food, terrible service, and reasonable prices.

This plain looking place was decorated to the hilt for Halloween! Delicious food, awesome service, and decently priced!! For Carrabelle, it's a gem!!

I've always had excellent food and friendly service here no matter how busy the place is. This restaurant is a true gem!

We enjoy visiting here, sometimes weekly. I tried something totally different, the shrimp cheese steak sandwich. I was good, but not enough grilled onions and I asked for no peppers and there were a few on it. Still like this establishment and will be back.

This was a great surprise! If you want fresh seafood - this is the place. The food was amazing, fresh and juicy. The batter was very light so the flavor was not hidden. Very friendly service. Shrimp and scallop dinner was more than you could eat. The cole slaw is a must! You will not leave here hungry. If I lived here, it would be my favorite place. To whomever is reading this and deciding whether or not to give The Fisherman's Wife a try: The Fisherman's Wife is AMAZING! We recently moved to Carrabelle (6 months now) we work hard and do allot of driving for our job, sometimes we are so exhausted and just want a decent meal. We tried everywhere in town for the first couple of months, and we're so bummed out that everything sucked, not to mention the price was ridiculous for something not even mediocre. When I tell you The Fisherman's Wife is our FAVORITE place in Carrabelle, trust me, I know good food 😉 We haven't tried everything but here are some "must try" that you will not regret! Seafood platter, double cheeseburger, Philly cheese steak, catfish, Greek salad. The staff at Fisherman's Wife make us feel like family! We can't thank them enough for taking care of our hunger needs so often and so well!

Best seafood ever. We ordered the Seafood platter and it had mounds of delicious shrimp, oysters, scallops, stuffed crab and grouper. It was cooked perfectly. Ordered a bowl of gumbo also and it was excellent. We split the platter and could only eat half. We will definitely have the Fisherman’s Wife and Carrabelle on our route whenever we go to Tampa. You gotta try it.
