Coming to this restaurant was a great idea for my wife and I. Highly recommend going here for brunch/lunch any day of the week. They have a great lake view when sitting outside and a cool bar on the inside. I got the Wagyu Smash Burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Got it animal style as well. As an appetizer we got the calamari and it was also the best we have ever had. Seasoned to perfection and delicious. We will definitely be back!

What a hidden gem this place is!!! The food was great. The atmosphere was classy, but casual and comfortable and the bartender, Keith, kept good conversation. We will be back.

Always a cozy country atmosphere. So happy to bring a friend as a new customer. A sunny sunday brunch stop to a packed house. That tells you something when tables and parking lots are full. Chose a simple appetizer as a main course of locally made goisa's peroghi elevated with caramelized onion and a mustard sour cream smear. Delicious and filling. A beautifully fresh salad with fruit pieces and whole almonds. Circled with a sweet riccotta. Seriously, found in so many restaurants but much more high end with the special touches. The server was attentive and delightful. Just an over-all wonderful visit.

My husband and I had our 34th Anniversary dinner here this evening. Very friendly and attentative staff. I had the scallops, sweet potatoes and snap peas, it was amazing. Perfect portions and excellent quality food. We will be dining there again!

Atmosphere and service great but the food is less than worthy especially the seafood plates they're very lacking for their prices. Pierogis are not that good either. Burger is very bland. Lobster roll not worth it.

A cute, local gem tucked away along the side of highway that you might easily pass if not paying attention! With limited, higher quality food options in the area, this spot stands out as a winner. Beautiful lake scenery from the bar seats, super friendly service, and solid comfort food make this place worth visiting if you find yourself in the area. Pierogies and brie were yum. 🧀😋

I had my wedding shower here back in June and it was incredible! Highly recommend The Grey Goose for private events, we heard so many compliments and had such an amazing time. We worked with Chef Patrick to plan the event and he was very helpful and organized and communicative. I floated the idea of a Paris-themed shower with “French” foods, even if it was just little sandwiches on croissants. He took the idea and ran with it, and made an entire platter of delicious French sandwiches and pastries with actual French ingredients. It was so detailed and creative and delicious! They also really let me run with decorating and making it my own. It was such a great time!!

Our favorite place to go have food and drinks. The bar is nice to sit at, and the people who work there are pleasant. Great chef! Highly recommend the tuna tartare.

This place was fantastic except for a rude, cranky bartender who should be fired ASAP. He actually argued with us as to whether he should have mentioned that the bloody Mary’s were so hot they blew the top of your head off!! Seriously! This guy was so aggressive that it was actually a little scary!! Fortunately a really nice, knowledgeable & super friendly waitress helped us escape the nasty bartender & we left the bar and she sat us outside! We had a great brunch. I had the eggs Benedict with Wagu beef, which was perfectly cooked & incredibly tasty! Loved it! Perfectly medium rare! I wish I could recall the lovely woman’s name who came to our rescue!! She was amazing! Because of her, our experience totally turned around! We’ll be back-just dodging the nasty old man behind the bar!!

Came for brunch with the family. Lynn was our server. She did great fast and friendly service. Portions were well worth the money. We will be back.

Beautiful restaurant, nice atmosphere and good food. Try the double smash burger, really good. If you are there after dark the lake behind the restaurant is all lit up and really looks nice.

Great food! The crab cakes and filets are tremendous. The Cioppino and Chicken Piccata were great. I really recommend this place.

Easily the best breakfast I have ever had... the crab eggs Benedict was AMAZING the apple berry chutney was superb the Coffee was excellent. Will definitely be back to try the bananas foster pancakes and the waygu beef omelet and the 36 hr cold brew

So enjoyed brunch here today!! The Vegetarian Eggs Benedict were delicious. The home fries were a real treat. Cannot wait to go back again.

Fantastic hidden gem of a place the owner welcomed us and thanked us over and over for stopping in for dinner (party of 18 people) the food was very very good along with the homemade cake ! Service was also fantastic along with the atmosphere including the owner taking us all up to see her late husbands erector set collection and trains ! A must stop for dinner kind of place !

My husband and I and my parents came here for dinner to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. All I have to say is this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time! Each of us had an awesome meal, and the staff was very friendly and tentative. And oh my god, that had to be THE BEST chocolate cake and strudel I have EVER HAD! It’s a beautiful restaurant and I know we’re rarely in this area but the meal we makes me want to come back even sooner!!!

Had an awesome dinner this evening. Food choices are plentiful. Quality and presentation are excellent! Prices are very reasonable especially for the 5 star chef quality. Great atmosphere, staff. The owner gave us a private tour of her late husband's collection. We would highly recommend this restaurant! Planning to return.

Our party received horrible, unapologetic service. We left after we still hadnt received our dinners 90 minutes after ordering. The staff, minus 1 server, were not wearing masks and there were no COVID safety measures in place.

Ordered the chicken salad with the honey mustard poppy seed dressing, delicious. Heath was the only waiter on staff and he took excellent care of us even though they were super busy. Will be back to try other menu items.

My girlfriend and I stopped by Sat. and split a piece of the amazing Goose cake. A chocolate cake that is a huge slice of homemade delectable decadence. We then returned Sun. with three more friends and had lunch and drinks. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the geese, ducks, swan and a couple herons on the lake.Very relaxing and a very nice staff.

I wanted to love this place. We sat outside at one of the tables they had set up during COVID-19 that over looked the pond/lake across the road. At first glance it looks beautiful, however after sitting there, you notice the garbage floating in the water, empty water bottles, ect. I attempted to order their half rack of ribs but was told they weren't ready yet, so opted for their fish sandwich. When the fish sandwich came out it looked really good....but as I went to cut it in half to eat it, ewww. The fish was rubber. The waitress took it back and I ordered a side salad. When the bill came she said she removed the item (fish sandwich) since I didn't want to eat it and only charged me for my salad. I didn't just choose not to eat the fish sandwich, it was inedible. The whole experience could have gone much better. It could be a beautiful place.

Had the Sunday brunch for a family Father's day celebration. What a treat. All eight meals were wonderful. The Quiche was amazing and the children loved their Belgian Waffles. Staff was very attentive. Cannot wait to return!

The food choices are many and all excellent and reasonably priced. On the weekends and occasionally during the week depending on the season, there is also live entertainment, usually Friday and Saturday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. featuring mostly local entertainment. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself and someone else to one of Ligoniers finest colonial-style Inns...... you won't regret it!

We ordered ceviche as an appetizer. It was horrible. Couldn't eat it. The shrimp were gummy.

Never had a bad meal. We always get the special of the day. If you plan on getting dessert The Goose cake is a must!

The Gray Goose Restaurant is my favorite place to dine when I am in Ligonier. The staff is friendly and very service oriented, the food is always good, and the atmosphere is fun with live music on weekends! In recognition of their great steaks- they were recently rated as the #1 small town steakhouse near the Pittsburgh area. I have seen this restaurant grow in popularity- with many larger parties, weddings and other events patronizing the restaurant. If you have never been here- it’s a must visit- and you can thank me later !!
