i have been coming here for almost 4 years and this place is the best. the prices are affordable. the food is always hot, fresh, and always delicious, and the service is always great. its family run and you can tell they put their all into providing delicious food. thank you green chicken!

The food is delicious. I especially recommend the picanha bowl and steak wrap. Alissa (sorry if I misspelled) was super nice! Overall recommend!

Casual Food, that is quick, filling, and tasty! Went to Green Chicken 🐔 from friends recommendation and it didn't disappoint. Had the large bowl of greens salad 🥗 with steak, which is cooked to preference, and comes with five toppings of your choice from a decent selection of options. Speaking of generous, the portions are a good size and can even serve as two meals, especially if you get a rice 🍚 bowl which tends to be more filling. They also have an array of sandwiches, burgers, and wraps, and much more should you want. There currently, isn't indoor seating from what I noticed BUT they have plenty of comfortable outdoor covered seating, which you would be unaffected by rain or direct sun. As for parking, the area looked a bit tight, and didn't see exactly where dine in parking is located, as we parked on a side road and ordered out... food was made quickly though. Green Chicken situated directly across FIU, is a quick and clean food option should you be in the area, and definitely if you're an FIU student and don't mind spending between $10.00-$20.00 for good food. ENJOY!!

I’m telling you this is a hidden gem. The food is soooo good no matter what you get, and super fresh. I usually only get the bowls but I’ve eaten their breakfast menu, steak, sandwiches… and I’ve yet to have a bad meal here. The staff are amazing and treat you like family. Prices are reasonable, only comment is that there is limited seating so it is better to take the food to-go here. I love green chicken!!

Their steak is really good. I recommend it. Better than what you'd expect from a place like this. All in all, good, clean food, decent service, looks like a family owned business. The group running the place is hard working and the staff is friendly. However, the prices are a bit.. elevated. That's the only reason I'm giving this place 4 starts and not 5. Also, it's not good to eat IN. One of those places that you're best off just picking up your food to go. Cramped, not very accessible to crowds. They have an outside eating area, but it isn't too large. As far as convenience goes, though, it couldn't be better. Since the service is pretty fast and it's situated right across the college, I can say it's definitely a place that's sure to stay popular with the students for years to come. I'd come again.

LET ME TELL YOU! There is NONE BETTER in Sweetwater (may I say Miami?!) than this beautiful restaurant. The Bosses Lianet and Devon run a tight ship, having an amazing team. running, making sure everyday that their food is authentic, healthy, fresh and prepped for the day, and each day is more delicious than the last. One can taste that the food is made out of love (took me one bite to realize) and they genuinely treat every customer as family, They’ll remember your name, face, and order in only a few visits! Placed in a great location, you can rest assured your kiddo will be fed and taken care of sending them to FIU, and will surely have good eats when visiting before going to the beach! Trust you will not be disappointed trying this spot.

Great guys, good food but this is NOT healthy bowl as you’d expect or cheap for a student serving restaurant. Only good jerk chicken spot near student housings.

Highly recommend The Green Chicken! I work down the road and they are our go-to. Their whole team is so sweet, the owners are super hands on and extremely kind. Anything we need or want, they always manage to get done. Their food is always AMAZING, fresh and service is always wonderful! Thank you guys for all that you do! We love you guys so much!

I will say that this is a convenient place to grab a bite for students in then surrounding area. The owners and the work crew are nice, even during a rush. The food is good and worth the money. Yes, prices are up (like everywhere else) but I have not had a bad meal from them yet. They also began doing a special menu outside of the usual bowls, wraps, etc. Be sure to ask about them. I personally enjoyed my jerk chicken sandwich with fried egg on top. 😋 Some pointers for your visit. Please speak loud because it's hard for the work crew to hear behind the barrier. If you like spicy DO get boom boom sauce with your jerk chicken. They do have vegetarian options in the form of all veggies bowls, etc and tofu bowls etc. The tofu is air fried but I can't confirm if it's cooked separately from the meat. There is seating outside that is nice on breezy Miami days. Overall, nice place to grab a quick bite before studying or going to work.

Went there on Monday and today is Friday and I am still sick… I don’t know what you guys gave me on Monday but it’s terrible. I think it was the beans but terrible.. first and last there.

Best food I tried the jerk chicken quesadilla, best I've ever tasted. Best service very nice. It's just that the place is a little small.

The service was amazing the first time I went but the second time the person who initially was trying to serve my order was rude and then I got a different server. The first time I ordered a chicken bowl and it was ok. The most recent time which was today I order a ham and cheese sub. Overall the food is highly processed and nothing about it screams healthy. I definitely will not order again from here.

I ordered a churrasco wrap, but oh boy, was the churrasco so bad. every pieve of steak I'd get, was either fat or impossible to finish chewing. very unsatisfied for such an expensive wrap. never again and I would never recommend.

Wow! Far exceeded any of the expectations I may have had even though it is highly rated and highly recommended in the FIU area community. Not only are the prices incredibly reasonable the quality of the food and ingredients is stellar, but to top it all off the service is friendly prompt and attentive. I ordered a CYO bowl with brown rice and steak and avocado and spent less than I normally do on a small sandwich which is far less satisfying. I was offered the steak by the owner and was a little bit leery because sometimes these little salad type places have minimal quality meat. But this steak was fresh, juicy and tender! The food from the tomatoes to the avocado to the rice below was A+ and the ladies working there were very sweet and fast. I will definitely be back! If you are in the FIU area and like healthy but tasty and high quality food, run don't walk here!

Been to Chipotle and Xochimex Cantina, and GC is the best! Despite the good rice, they put way more protein, and hence you get a way bigger meal, very taste and great price. I don't drink coffee ☕, but you can buy a big glass for 2.99 which you will rarely find anywhere else in Miami. Delicious 😋 🤤 Absolutely recommend!

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, excellent customer service. You can just tell they work hard and want you to have a great experience. Large portions, great prices. Don’t think twice, this is not your average “quick” food.

The food is fresh, delicious, and lots of variety! And the portions are HUGE, I always have enough for a second meal later lol. I don't know how they have so many options and serve such variety for those prices. We love coming here often 👌

I worked with Lianet and the Green Chicken to coordinate an order for 27 people with individual orders. Not only was the order timely and at a great price, the food was DELICIOUS. I couldn't recommend them more if your coordinating lunch for a group. Lianet was professional, kind, and so easy to work with. They can easily accommodate your Gluten Free needs as well. If you're a sports team traveling to Miami, this is your SPOT!

Their smoothies are amazing ! The owner of this shop is an amazing woman with a lot of passion and love for making great food. The prices are great for the giant amount of food they give you and it all taste delicious and very fresh. Everyone who works there is also very wonderful. I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and don’t regret every time I visit.

Came here for the first time and OMG they got the best jerk chicken and shrimp Cajun pasta EEEVVVEEERRRR!!! My new go to spot for sure! And Brian was sooo amazing and so helpful, no wonder he’s the favorite! Awesome new spot!

I’ve lived in the area for a year And have been coming here since the moment I moved into my apartment. I love this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner… anything, you truly can’t go wrong with this place. I believe it is the best restaurant in this area, their prices are perfect for a college student, despite their recent rise in prices I still believe them to be perfect for the food and quality that you’re getting. I don’t go as often as my friends but the owner and employees still recognize me and my order. If there’s one thing I can recommend it is everything on this menu! My favorite however is the pineapple mango smoothie, the caramel iced coffee, their bowls and #5 breakfast. Every person that I bring to this restaurant always falls in love with it and go back constantly. 20/10!!!
