Absolutely spectacular! Especially if you like elevated tee shots. I heard about this course on Reddit and man an I glad I decided to try it out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming close.

Bahle Farms is the best course in the vicinity of Traverse City. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Been playing here for year's. Always a fun and challenging course. The new owner has it in top condition and the greens fee is still reasonable. It's my favorite course in the Traverse City area.

James, Emma and Kevin were awesome! The whole staff were very welcoming. First time adding this place to our annual golf trip. The course had a great layout and was kept in great shape. We’ll be back for sure!

GOLFERS BEWARE !!! You could be reported to the police for going to the bathroom in the woods next to the practice area. However, I'm pretty sure the small rural police department has bigger issues than some crazy paranoid golf owner wining like a two year old that a customer is going in the woods. Good luck with that. You don't know the difference between going to the bathroom at the practice facility and going in the woods but my lawyer does and is looking into this as a possible lawsuit for defamation of character. There was one man that I saw talking to you near the maintenance shed. The only maintenance woman you have was mowing the 18th green, five hundred yards away, surrounded by trees. I tried to tell you I would be done long before she got to the practice green. Stop trying to suggest that I was going to the bathroom on the practice area with women and children around. You have already stated there were no women and children around at the time so stop with your lies and falsehoods. You have no idea how bad this makes you look as an owner but most everyone else will. And especially seniors with enlarged prostates, such as myself. Shame on you. I walked the distance to the nearest bathroom and with no ride offered by the poor excuse of an owner, carrying my golf clubs, water, shag bag and putter trainer up a steep grade to the clubhouse, two or three hundred yards away, and back. Not worth it. Other courses are more accommodating. I also want to add that it would not have been half as big a deal to me if the kid owner hadn't come across as being so nasty about it when I tried to reason with him. All he could say was this is not a conversation. This is my property and you are using my practice facility. I WON'T ANY MORE!!! Instead of calling the police on your customers for going to the bathroom in the woods, post signs at the very least. If you want to do something helpful (which you won't) provide more port a potties so golfers don't have to resort to going in the woods. Your business model seems to be to gouge your customers while providing fewer services. Most locals avoid this place like the plague because they find better values with Northport Creek, The Crown, Bay Meadows, Elmbrook, and Sugarloaf. I have never heard reports of any of these courses reporting their customers for going to the bathroom in the woods like this place did. God says to love your enemies so I will say a prayer for you. I suggest you spend some time at the church just down the road from you. It doesn't matter that you seem to have no Christian values. It just might help your outlook.

Played here last week on a guys golf trip. I had seen videos on Tic Tok and got the group to book a tree time. What a great course.... Elevation changes on many holes, undulation on many greens and in amazing shape. The staff was awesome from the pro shop to the starter that gave you everything you need. One thing I understand is no outside coolers on the course, but don't give out cheap black soft side coolers that leak and don't hold ice. Minimum upgrade to put hard coolers on every cart. Thanks again we'll be back.. And we didn't pee on the practice green... 😂

Just finished 18 holes at Bahle Farms Golf. Michigan is #20 on our “golf all states” retirement goal- and what a fantastic experience! Great golf, beautiful course, wonderful staff. Crosley gave us some great tips before our round- thx! Might have to return to Michigan and play this one again!

Went on a golf trip and played Bahle 4th of July weekend with my 7 buddy's. Course was in great shape and definitely exceeded our expectations. Great views, very well maintained & the staff was very nice and accommodating. If you're thinking about booking a tee time here, do it!

My first experience at Bahle Farms was incredible!! Not only is the course beautiful it’s also really fun to play. The owner Crosley was super accommodating and took great care of me during my time at Bahle Farms. I would definitely recommend stopping by!

So much fun. The change in elevation is spectacular. Course in really good condition. Some pin placements were much too difficult. Especially #10 when the ball kept rolling back. But no worries. What a fun day and amazing value. Thank you!

I am visiting this area for the first time on a family reunion/vacation. I made my tee time on line and also needed to rent clubs. The corse was in awesome condition, the staff was super friendly and it went off with out a hitch! I was paired with three local guys who where not only fun to play with but also had a ton of local info for me. I highly recommend playing this course! I truly hidden gem!

The course was amazing . I had to rent clubs and the price and process was reasonable. We did have 10 players and 3 tee times but were told we couldn’t do a (2) 5 somes. Later on we were told no one was behind us. We were having issues getting range balls that we were told were included. After starting, we noticed other groups with more than 4 who were yelling and celebrating ahead of us. I think the course was a 5 star, but we could have had a better experience with the staff. Especially after spending over $1000 playing and buying food and alcohol at the club house.

Great track. Unfortunately Bahle is joining with some of the other courses in the area in over pricing.80$ is a bit steep for this course.

Play yesterday morning, absolutely love the course. Tee boxes and fairways were immaculate and greens were very deceptive. Looking forward to playing there again.

This course gets better evrytime I play it. Coming from the Fenton area with my golf buddies, we make it a point to play this course each time we play in the Traverse Bay area. Challenging in everyday and get views. Must play.

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever been too. The ownership does a fantastic job at supplying great merchandise and keeping the course looking amazing. Highly recommend this golf course to anyone that loves to golf.

Bahle Farms Golf Course is a Gem. We played it Friday, September 2nd in a Foursome. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The starter gave us a background on the course and we met the owner as well. The views, the tees, fairways, and greens were in excellent shape. This gem will continue to be in our Labor Day rotation. P.S. try a brat/bun on the grill too.

What a delightful course! My husband and I came up from North Carolina and only had 1 day to play golf. We couldn't have been happier than playing Bahle Farms. The course was in beautiful shape and the greens were challenging. The views were spectacular and we even had the opportunity to snack on Michigan's famous cherries which were growing right on the course. We will definitely be back

Overall a great course and I'd play it again. Only issue we had was the starter had quite the attitude, seems to be a pattern with old grumpy men on courses up here for some reason. He just acted like everyone was an idiot, but not at all in a helpful way. Just things that if he didn't have an attitude would have been fine, but he was just a rude person. We didn't let it bother us though and the course was great and for a good price.

Awesome standard up north track - wooded with lots of elevation change. Course was well maintained and the greens were rolling pretty darn pure. Nice variety of holes, was definitely a fun track to play. Was my first time playing and I highly recommend paying more attention to the hole number signs that give descriptions on the hole, as there are more than a few blind shots out there (got stung a few times hitting where I shouldn't). This is way better than Manitou Passage, way better than Grand Traverse, better than Lochenheath, and for my money - as good as Kingsley Club. I try to reserve giving 5 stars for the rare occasions of excellence, and was tempted to give this 5 stars... probably worth 5.

Lived around the area for 10 years. This course one of the top 3 around. New ownership here at Bahle. Paid for 18. Started raining, windy, no thunder though. Called them on the 6th hole, advised conditions are pretty bad, can we get a rain check. Can’t remember his name but the front desk dude, very friendly from the beginning, was super accommodating and gave us a rain check for 9 holes, when he didn’t have to. Highly recommend. Beautiful course. Great staff reflecting probably on new owners as well. A++++

I visited Bahle Farms Golf Course this past weekend and had a blast. The trees changing color on the course added some breathtaking views and is a must see during Fall. The elevation changes add challenge as well as some stunning views (especially at hole 11). Staff was friendly and organized. Can’t wait to return!

It was my first time visiting the area and I was blown away by the natural beauty of this peninsula. Bahle Farms captures everything that is beautiful about the region, with its rolling hills, green foliage, and scenic water views. Along the way make sure to take a photo on top of hole 10 (photo attached). The course was extremely well maintained. Challenging and well maintained greens. This course was so great we came back a second day to golf it again! The service was immaculate and the staff was extremely friendly! We stuck around for some snacks in the club house after golfing and met the owners, who asked us how our experience was. They were so nice and can tell they really care about their customers. Definitely my favorite course I’ve played at so far! A hidden gem. If you’re near TC definitely give this course a go.

This was my first time playing this course and I must say, WHAT A GEM!! By far my favorite course I’ve ever played. Each hole offers a beautiful view of the surroundings and really feels like a quiet getaway. The elevation changes are great, and has made golfing on a flat course very boring. It’s truly a hidden gem of a course and highly recommend going to Hop Lot afterwards for a post round beer! Melissa and Crosley are great owners :)

I played at Bahle Farms for the first time a few weeks ago, and I must say this course offers an incredible golf experience. From the scenic views of Sutton’s Bay (check out these beautiful photos!), the elevation changes at each hole, and the friendly management, this place is truly unmatched. Every interaction I had with the employees was extremely pleasant, and the new owners are awesome :) Bahle Farms is a hidden gem and a must play!

Course was in great condition. Greens were tough. Views were great. Only complaint is they don’t have a liquor license (yet) so we couldn’t get a beer at the turn! $99 is a bit pricey but overall worth a round

Great course, good condition. Not having any food available at 1:30 in the afternoon on a holiday weekend, at the turn, is completely unacceptable.

If you play golf, play this course as soon as you can get there. Unbelievable layout, up and down hills - conditions were impeccable. Bring your A game around the greens. We played in 4 hours on a Friday. As good as the course was, the hospitality and friendliness of Eric Bahle was beyond reproach. Thank you so much for chatting with us before the round about RVing , getting us ice, and guiding my brother in law to fantastic biking trails, while we enjoyed the course and great Michigan weather. Play here, and give Griff a head pat and belly rub for me. He is such a sweet dog! Thanks Eric.

This is a strong contender for 'most underrated course in Michigan' (up there with Pilgrim's Run). Beautiful terrain, some of the best greens in the state, and some great holes. It's unfortunate that this course never shows up in any of the state rankings--it's better than most of the highly rated public courses.

Beautiful Fairways and greens and can meet the challenges of the good golfers and fair for the average to less than average golfers depending on tee boxes used. The price is good for courses of this quality. Love the rolling hills and scenery throughout the course.

I've been playing golf in the Northern Michigan area for year's and I have to say that I personally feel like this is the most underrated golf course in the area. The course is always in great shape and it's challenging. Tons of elevation change and the views here are amazing. Time it right and you can sneak a couple of cherries from the tree's. I love this place so much I sprung for a membership this year. It's a great deal and I don't regret pulling the trigger on it. Keep up the great work Bahle!

A great golf experience at Bahle Farms today, The course is challenging, yet fair and well conditioned. Classic “up north” style golf. The customer service from the staff was outstanding - thanks for a great day, can’t wait to come back!

Played for the first time here today. Had a great time, PB 37 for 9 holes (83 totals) on the front. Many Thanks to the Meyer's family for guiding thru the course with yardage and strategies. Very nice people!

My group of six went in mid October and we had an amazing time. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The course was beautiful and very well maintained. Challenging greens and a fun course but not the type where you lose a whole case of balls. Great for the price, it was my favorite round all year.
