Sometimes, you want more than just a good meal that you order, eat, and pay for before leaving after an hour. The Melting Pot is an experience. I took my mom, who was turning 85, along with my niece and her SO to dinner here on a Wednesday. The cocktails we started with were so much fun and delicious. Then we all had the Big Night Out dinners with lobster. 4 courses in all. The cooking, dipping, and trying different combinations made the dinner a night to remember. My only recommendation is that if you are getting numerous courses for more than two people, you try to get the largest booth. Otherwise, you will feel cramped. I highly recommend The Melting Pot if you want good food and a great experience at the same time!

So we went there for our anniversary on a weeknight. The place is clean inviting, and the staff is very very friendly. I guess I'm not used to the super duper slow pace of fondue, nor am I used to the very super slow response and very infrequent visits by the server. For drink refills it was very intermittent and they were quick once they showed up, but they did not show up very frequently. They placed the flower petals on the table for me which was a $10 charge and I agreed to that in advance, and the food was good we cooked it. The anniversary gift was one chocolate dipped strawberry.!! I don't know if I took a picture of it but it was very underwhelming! This is not my typical fair and this is not where I would normally go but I do give it a very high reading because it is what my 11 other asked for and that is what I delivered.

A bit pricey...Everything was great except when they ran out of strawberries.

Delicious time with my little cousin! It was a 1st time for them and my 3rd time at a melting pot. We went for the endless fondue (4 courses) they will refill your meats however much you want, I didn’t need to I already couldn’t move from being full like a whale lol. The dessert is so amazing!

brought a group of 6 here for a birthday celebration and we all had the best time. it’s a really fun dinner experience!! the food is delicious but i know now that 4 courses is way too much to handle and wouldn’t need more than 3. since it was our 1st time we wanted to go all in so no regrets though. our server did a great job and remained friendly and thorough even though we ended up being there well past closing time. i would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area and look forward to visiting again 😋

Super sexy vibe!!! We Took our girlfriend here for her birthday! The table was decorated super sexy!!! The service was great! I did like their mock-tail options! They were delicious! And my friends enjoyed all their alcohol crafted drinks! I got the charcuterie board. I didn’t like it. I also got the spinach melting cheese and it was really good! It arrived w bread and veggies!! I got the “meat lovers” and it was okay. I guess it’s more about the experience. You cook your meal at the table! You can get the skillet or bowling broth. We got both. The steaks wasn’t anything special and they were drenched in sauce. I was not a fan of it. I do recommend to the Ying Yang dessert! It was really good!! Came w a plethora of fruits and treats to dip. I do recommend this for a date night as it’s super sexy and romantic.

Yasenia was a great server and helped with our birthday celebration! We loved everything from the spinach artichoke dip to the salad to the meat selection to the chocolate, peanut butter and fluff dip!

Everyone was so nice and made our anniversary dinner extra special. Justin M was excellent!!! We think their GF dessert options are better than the regular options. We aren't gluten free, but asked since we would prefer just fruit over fruit and brownies/marshmallows/etc, and our waiter gave us extra fruit plus the gf options to try. We were kind of wishy washy on the chocolate course in general, but not anymore! PS: we definitely heard y'all playing Dragon Ball Durag on the speakers

Atmosphere is always great, cheese and chocolate fondue amazing. I have to say the last 2 times I was there I was not happy with the meat's and the cooking styles. It is not what it used to be and the price is not worth it. If you go only go for the cheese and chocolate fondue!!! Don't forget the salads there delicious 😋 🤤

My husband I were first time customers, celebrating our anniversary. Christian, our server, was incredible. Everyone was wonderful. The food and overall experience was one of the best we have ever had in any restaurant. We cant wait to return.

We had Cassie. It was her 1st night serving alone. (Just finished her training) She was AMAZING!! Will be requesting her the next time we make reservations! (Yes, she was THAT good!!!) She checked on us multiple times, asking if we needed anything. We like that! Great job Cassie! Please don't quit any time soon ♥️ I gave 4 stars for review of food because the steak was very tough (chewy) and had to spit it out in a napkin.

First time there. Went for our anniversary dinner. It was delicious and filling. We chose to grill our food, and it was amazing. We were so full we ended up bringing the dessert home! Awesome place. Will go again just to try it the traditional way!

My best friend's mother was celebrating her birthday and they chose here to go enjoy the night. I was added to their two-person deal which added on the price I am going to list, so the bill became for three. Wound up spending $55ish. Am not sure if they bumped up the amount of food because of the size of the dishes they did came out on was one, but none of us went hungry. We started with the Classic Alpine cheese dip (Gruyère, raclette, fontina, white wine, garlic and nutmeg), which we chose breads, apple slices, cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli ($24 for 2, +$12 for each extra person). The bread was a sturdy one cut into small chunks, so it easily picked up hot runny dip of cheese without breaking down. Each one of us chose different salads. Mine was spinach with Bleu cheese and bacon and it was tasty ($6). We each decided to get the steak lover deal ($35 per person) because steak is fine if undercooked versus other foods. There were three different versions of the steak: premium Filet Mignon, Teriyaki-Marinated Steak and garlic pepper steak - the herb encrusted was delicious! Even after being in the Coq Au Vin (burgundy wine, mushrooms, scallions and garlic) the herbs clung to the beef, and each bite was tasty. Dessert was the flaming turtle which had small pieces of rice crispies, brownies, two chocolate coated marshmallows, blondies, yellow cake, strawberry, and banana slices ($24 for 2, +$12 for each extra person). It was great and our server was absolutely wonderful. Wish I still had my receipt with her name.

Niko is an excellent server. Very attentive and you could tell he wanted to make our first experience ant a melting pot amazing! He gets more than 5 stars from us! The food was amazing and the cocktails were great!

I always loved to go to the melting pot, I would go every couple months with either my husband or friends. Tonight we went. On the menu says “substitute teriyaki steak or ravioli” so we asked to substitute the ravioli because I don’t eat mushrooms. The waiter comes back and says “new policy, you can only switch out the ravioli if you need gluten free”. That is absolutely a horrible policy and I will not be back to this location. Such because like I said I actually used to come here a few times a year. Even though it’s overpriced for what it is.

Ryan was our server, quick, attentive, personable and knowledgeable about all items on the menu. The food was amazing. My first time at any melting pot and this one actually has a “Stanley cup” as the most esteemed location in the chain, and it shows. Not one person standing around, many times we were checked on by management and other servers. Fantastic time and great food. Also, the deals are very good; you can get all you need and more staying in the date night budget.

Went here on a date with my boyfriend and it was a very lovely experience. Service was great. Would recommend to try.

I didn’t know that I cooked my own food. But everything was perfect for an anniversary celebration.

What a great experience! Unfortunately did not got the name of our server but she was amazing with us!! I suggest ton make reservations because is always full but you would not regret this experience! we definitely are coming back!! We have the Wisconsin Cheddar , I had the Steak lovers for my protein my wife had the Land and sea! Both amazing selections! The house salad with honey mustard! Have to try it! And for desert the Ying-Yang just perfect to finish Dinner our daughter love this part for sure!

Booked a reservation in advance for my wife’s birthday in November. I reserved a table and requested additional special packages as advertised on the website. After making the reservation, I called the restaurant and spoke to Paul to ensure that the table would be ready in advance as that is what is supposed to happen. I was also offered a table in the back of the restaurant away from noise which I gladly accepted and thanked Paul for his offer. We get to the restaurant and we are seated in the middle of the restaurant at a table with nothing prepared. I was I shock as a special birthday for my wife quickly turned to nothing. My wife wasn’t expecting anything but I was. I immediately told my wife to get up and we were going elsewhere as the restaurant didn’t provide what I requested. Luckily we were able to find another open restaurant on a Tuesday night. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone going for a special occasion. I wouldn’t take the gamble on booking anything at this restaurant.

This place is nice. It’s always fun. Kids love it. Biggest complaint is an extreme amount of downtime between courses. We easily waited 45 minutes between salad and main course which is just way too much. Also, the chairs in the party room are extremely uncomfortable. After over 3 1/2 hours for dinner, my back was killing me. I actually had to get up multiple times throughout the night just to walk around to stretch my back. Overall it was nice but certainly not the experience it should be considering with a portray and the cost.

The Melting Pot, Altamonte Springs has been a favorite for many years. We find the food and service to be of the highest caliber and always come away satisfied and, of course, stuffed! We highly recommend The Melting Pot.

We tried the 5 course my only complaint is the first course was bland. You only get 4 stuffed raw grape tomatoes. I think the raw tomatoes should of had mor pizzazz to it or something. There wasn’t tons of flavors or any. Other than that everything was perfect :)

We celebrated a 70th birthday dinner at Melting Pot Longwood. Everything about our dinner was fabulous! The ambiance in the atrium was perfect! Our server, Nicola made our dinner awesome! The food was outstanding! We could not have asked for a more wonderful evening to share with good friends! Thank you Dale and staff of Longwood Melting Pot! The best restaurant in town!

The Ultimate 5 Course Experience was in a word: delightful. It was a true feast for the senses; visually stunning, decadent smells and exquisite tastes. Our service was prompt and attentive. From our first bite to our last we were taken away on an edible adventure. Definitely recommend but best be sure to save room for dessert!

Haven't been in several years. Food quality and service were good. Pricing was a little exorbitant for the amount you get. Especially when there are so many auce hot pots around.

Nice place I would go back again, but I find it to be very pricey when you’re cooking your own food.

The quality of the food and service were not up to the level for the price. The presentation was underwhelming and the food was marginal. The server was nice but not well trained for a high dinning experience. Glad we tried it but will never do it again.

Brought the family. KA had a great sense of humor made the experience great. Most male servers do not work as hard as female. My husband is very hard to please and appreciated KAs approach. Respectable and fun. The food was great. We all left very very full.

One of traditions is to have Christmas Eve dinner at the Melting pot in Longwood. We have been doing this for 10 years if not more. Every time the service has been great from the hosts to the servers, the food has been great and we leave VERY full and happy. Thank you again for a great holiday dinner and helping us to have a special night.

Great place for a family dinner and fun

The service was slow but was not bad when he did show up. It was hard to get drink refills or extras. The menu changes weren’t great. Way, way, way too much garlic. We were chewing chunks of garlic with our cheddar. It’s was disgusting and ruined our cheese course. The salad was overflowing with spinach and falling off the plate which made it difficult to mix the salad and dressing. It was impossible to eat the tomatoes and cheese etc without taking half of the salad off my plate. The dressing was different too but I can’t quite figure that out. It was disappointing that filet is no longer an available option except as some sort of bourbon flavor, which was disgusting. We have been coming here for 20 years, at least once per month, and have seen menu changes along the way. This has to be the most horrible change ever. We were there celebrating my birthday. We drive all the way from Mount Dora. With all of these menu changes I’ve cancelled our NYE reservation and our son’s birthday reservation. Maybe we can try again in a few months.

I wish it was more dark and intimate like the original location in Maitland. Still fun and very enjoyable.

I took My wife there for her first time on 12-14-23 and our experience was terrible. The server was stunning (chelsea) But other than that, the price, the fondue and cooking style were outrageous. The portion of the food was that of a toddler. The fondue was not good what so ever. I spent $140 and ended up eating fast food afterward. Not worth it

It is a wonderful experience. Due get the price fixed menus as they offer a great deal. I really recommend the wine based boil. The cheese is amazing. The salads are a true hidden gem. The highlight has to be the chocolate fondue. This place is a great for a special date night. You really get to bond and talk over a long meal. The process also allows you to break up any awkward silence by discussing the cooking and food, as well as working together to cook some of the items.

It was our first time...and the experience was amazing. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Our server Kev, was awesome!!! By far one of the best date nights we've had.

Melting Pot provided a wonderful meal again with amazing service from Eliana. Still love the salad with the house dressing. My daughter who is gluten free and dairy free had a great meal also!

We had a party of 10 last night and our servers were amazing! They made our experience so much more pleasurable. They explained everything in great detail, very friendly, professional and prompt. Everyone in our party commented specifically how our 2 servers made it even better. One of the ladies in our party lives close and said she is planning to return and will ask for our server again!! My first time at Melting Pot and I give it 5 stars all day!! I forgot to get a copy of my receipt for company expense, I called back and the manager text it to me. What great service!!! GREAT JOB MELTING POT STAFF! YOU ROCKED IT!

McKenna in the bar area was absolutely phenomenal! So personable and friendly, she really made our experience one to remember.

Great Anniversary Dinner - just so happened to fall on a Thursday and took advantage of the “Thursdate” special. All 4 courses were very good. Tried the deep fried option for the first time and was not disappointed - although takes a little practice to get everything cooked perfectly. I did notice some other tables had rose petals and some other fancy “date night” specials but I didn’t see where any of that was offered. Would be nice to know for future date nights at the Melting Pot.

The Melting Pot was a great experience due to a combination of the staff and the food. The food is good, delicious seasoning, very good overall; and the staff is very friendly, some of the nicest wait staff I have ever encountered over decades of dining experiences. Our waiter was incredibly nice and when he made a mistake, we were not charged. I hope the restaurant is very good to their staff, they currently seem to have a winning team.

The food was delicious and there was more than we were able to finish. They have plenty of vegetarian options in all 4 courses.

It's expensive so it's a special occasion type of place but it was worth it for a special night out.

Such a great experience with our kids recently. The service was wonderful and food was delicious. We really enjoyed the bacon and Brie fondue and our boys loved the chocolate. Next time, we’ll likely skip the proteins because it was a little too much food. My only complaint was the table in the booth in front of us used their phone timer for everything so hearing their timer go off every 2-5 minutes was super distracting. Perhaps the Melting Pot could offer visual timers for guests who prefer using them.
