We had our kids’ birthday cake and cupcakes made by the Naked Cupcake. Pickup was flawless with instructions on caring for our cake until serving time. Communication with the team prior to our party was also flawless. The pricing was quite reasonable. Most importantly, on the day of our daughters’ birthday party, we received a beautiful cake that tasted delicious. And it stayed together outdoors in Florida heat after we cut it! Wow! Many of our guest guests specifically commented on how yummy it was. The overall experience was five stars. I would definitely recommend The Naked Cupcake for any event. And I cannot wait to use them again for our next event!

As a home baker myself, my standards are pretty high so I rarely have pastries outside of the ones we make at home, but one day my husband surprised me with one of these cupcakes and omg they are so moist, spongy and delicious!

This place has a bright and inviting atmosphere filled with friendly faces that greeted me. The staff here was helpful, knowledgeable and sweet! We ordered our cupcakes ahead of time and had no problem getting the order as soon as we showed up. The owner was extremely helpful and has made our ordering process extremely easy! Poor customer service. The lady taking our order was very irritated and rude. Clicking her nails on the counter trying to rush me to take an order for 6 cup cakes. There was no line behind me no customers so I don't know why she had such a bad attitude. It is hard to get in touch with the owner they didn't want to give out her information for feed back. The lady who took my order went and hid in the back I hope she didn't spit on my cupcakes. I asked her for a glass of water and she flat out said no which is strange every time I've come in the past and asked for a glass of water there was no issue. Spending 30$ on 6 cupcakes and simply asked for a glass of water for my niece and was so rudely turned away We won't be coming here again and be aware if this is the way they treat their customers is sad. I've been a loyal client and they just lost business over a glass of water and the rudeness of the irritated server who was clicking her nails on the counter

My first experience with The Naked Cupcake was a custom order for dairy and gluten free cupcakes which were amazing. The service is always wonderful no matter if I order online or at the store in Lake Nona. I am always surprised when I bite into one of their cupcakes and it taste just like name. For example the banana pudding, the peanut butter and jelly, the key lime pie, etc. I am looking forward to tasting the next batch of original flavors next month. You cannot go wrong with these cupcakes. Oh and their ice cream is delicious too!

Wow Naked Cupcake did such an amazing job for my son's 10th birthday cake. I searched online for the best cakes in Orlando and did my research. I looked on instagram for pictures, took a risk and ordered. The cake not only looked exactly like the picture I sent but it was delicious. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Me and my daughter absolutely love this place. The cupcakes are to die for! And their specialty cakes for birthdays or special occasions are amazing. I've started bringing the cupcakes to work functions and client meetings and everyone raves about them. The owner is also positively involved in the community as well. I love the coupons my daughter receives from her school for getting good grades. Overall would highly recommended the food and the business!

We hired The Naked Cupcake Truck for a Tenant appreciation event. It was a hit! The truck showed up early to set up, opened on time, served with a smile and offered fantastic cupcake options for everyone to enjoy! It was fabulous! I would hire them again! Great service by all staff. Not one worry.

I ordered barbie cupcakes they came out beautiful and they where carrot cake flavor. Very delicious. But very expensive 90 dollars for 12. I was coming from las vegas and I had a hard time finding the bakery. I wish they would answer the phone. That's the only problem I had was I wish they would answer the phone.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with our gender reveal cake to celebrate our little boy! Naked Cupcake put so much time and care into our experience and the cake was an absolute HIT at the party! The red velvet layer with cream cheese on top was delicious and our blue buttercream and vanilla at the bottom was on point. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. They were timely and responsive for my order and it was worth every penny. We arrived close to closing on a Thursday evening and the employees were very patient and accommodating. I was personally impressed by the decor and motivational passages inscribed on the walls. We were allowed to have samples of the icing 🧁. There are many additional items available for purchase to include accessories, candles and books. We purchased all the books. We enjoyed a wonderful experience and looking forward to visiting again upon a future visit to the Orlando/Lake Nona area.

I had a custom order done for my 21st birthday. It was a gorgeous pink heart cake with edible glitter and pink pearls. OBSESSED. It came out better than I expected. I loved it and so did everyone else at my party. The chocolate cake was good. The custom service was great too. I got it kind of last minute too 2 weeks before the event. All the ladies were very kind at the store. I am definitely going to be going back to get another custom order done very soon for my kids. :). Overall an amazing experience for me.

I ordered a custom last minute cake for my fiancés birthday. Like 4/5 days notice late! I order him a unique mash up cake every year, it's our tradition. Therefore I am very familiar with the time that it takes to get on the same page with the vision and execution. The response time was phenomenal! Every person I spoke to was sweet, understanding and flexible! As for the design... I don't even know where to start... I had no vision! we decided to travel to Orlando last min and I forgot I needed a cake I had a screen shot a designer logo and the Idea to incorporate a collaboration that was done with an anime cartoon. The team gave me options, and I decided to release creative control to them, and the results..The naked Cupcake team KILLED IT! i couldn't have created a better looking cake. They got details that I didn't even know I wanted. The taste was out of this world!! They have elevated the birthday cake standard in my family going forward and they have earned a customer for life. Amazing cupcakes and amazing service

My wife and I commissioned a 1-tier cake from The Naked Cupcake for our wedding, and were disappointed with the result. We provided two silk boutonnieres to use as decoration, assuming they would use them as a baseline, but the resulting cake looked incredibly boring and uninspired as no additional elements were used. The cake was barren looking, with our flowers added to only one small corner. No additional effort was added to fill the cake out and make it look nice. The only silver lining (and reason for two stars instead of one) was that the Sunday Brunch flavor we ordered tasted nice. The frosting was a bit on the sweet side, but it was enjoyable enough. The cake didn't ruin our wedding day, but it was certainly the lowest point. tl;dr - avoid this place if you need a cake that looks nice Edit: It was not communicated to me that there were any additional fees for adding elements to the cake, or that there was a concern about the size of the provided florals. I asked for "artists discretion" twice, both in-person and in the text messages mentioned, and was told during my consultation that a cake would be created using a tropical theme matching the boutonnieres provided. If I was told an exact design was required, I would have gone elsewhere as I am not a cake designer.

Taking off one star because needing to tip for an online order before it's done feels a bit off. I get that I could just set the tip to zero, but then there's this worry about getting subpar service like with DoorDash. I trust Naked Cupcake will deliver top-notch service even if the tip will come after service is complete, but it still leaves that uneasy fear.

Despite being called 'The Naked Cupcake', the team does waaaay more than little cakies in little skirts. I came across the TNC at the Orlando Bridal Show. In a sea of vendors, the bait that caught this lil fish, was their samples. After a small bite of chocolate cake, I knew the sophisticated, yet simple, cake was one I want to have. The process of a cake tasting was sooooo ridiculously easy as they have their storefront in Lake Nona. We just pulled on up (after making an appt of course) and got to cake-ing. It was pretty overwhelming how many options they had available but I'd rather have that than nothing! We ended up going with a 3-tier, vanilla cake with almond frosting and strawberry filling. It was simple but delicious - exactly what I was going for. I had a fat stack of inspiration pics and it just amazes me how these artists are so talented and able to take what I gave them and made it their own. During the wedding day, I was not present during the delivery. However my wedding planner told me about how professional the delivery man was and how he insisted to stay until I gave the final OK. To be perfectly honest, I don't remember how much this cake was. But I personally think that's a great sign! I would only remember how much the cake was if it was a grotesque, wedding-taxed amount. It was affordable and in our budget! At least go to the cake testing to get a proper quote and you'll see. All in all, TNC was professional and I really, really trusted them. From that very first sample to eating it before we left on our honeymoon, we were happy. I absolutely love this place. I have used them on many occasions for cupcakes and for our daughter’s first birthday cake. We don’t eat dairy so we get the vegan option. Our guests absolutely enjoyed the vegan option as well. You can’t even tell that it doesn’t have any dairy. We appreciate Naked Cupcake for always accommodating our needs and still making the wonderful desserts so tasty!

The cake and cupcakes were gorgeous and exactly like how we expected them to be! And everything was so delicious, we still have guests talking about much they loved them!

I cannot say enough about this cake. The cake was created as part of my gift for the Mommy to be. She was overwhelmed by how beautiful it was, The cake was layered with a different flavor to each layer. Red velvet, oreo and vanilla. The entire cake was eaten. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LEFT to take home. Later when the guys were taking the cake board to the garbage what was left of the cake crumbs were eaten. The cake was moist and amazing. The customer service was exceptional. I will not trust anyone else with my family's special events moving forward.Lorretta was amazing . Only smooth part was placing order over phone. Pick up, however, was not so great. Customer service was just not there and the cupcakes are just okay. ********* I am updating my previous review because my online order experience was excellent.
