Saw this place awhile ago on fb & finally was close by & got to try it! This place was AMAZING. I got the Painkiller & my bf got the Local Buzz. One of the best coffees I have ever had. The owner Katie (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was awesome. She was so sweet & gave us a Linguica Roll to try & it was so delicious! We will definitely be back 😊

Cool, cute atmosphere, fun that you can play some games while hanging out drinking coffee or snacking. Owner was playing some chill acoustic guitar. I want to say it was perfect because of that... I'm really not looking to make war(craft) or anything, but the food and drink were a miss for me! Cookies looked amazing but were dry, and while maybe just preference here, the Linguica bun was too salty with that crystalized salt on the outside, as the cheese and linguica are already salty enough. Furthermore, Latte was asked hot but served luke warm, so the milk may not have been truly steamed. Latte flavor ended up mild. Made some discussion with the staff about caffeine, didn't feel like arguing but can't say I agree with their facts. I avoid caffeine due to a moderate med interaction, but kind of got talked into it. They were just trying to be helpful I think, but I was told caffeine in espresso is like 30 mg (not much more than decaf), and that also "8 shots = 1 regular coffee for caffeine" but according to the USDA it actually avg's 63 mg... so it's only like 25% less than caffeinated drip coffee. And according to their website, they do a double shot for their Latte, unless the website outdated. That would def be more caffeine than drip! I wonder where they got all that information. I'll be okay though, just caffeine is something I generally need to avoid. I also disagree about decaf being "over-roasted and burnt" in general, as decaffeination happens prior to and independent of roasting, and the loss of flavor molecules depends on the decaffeination process. It's also a fine art though, and it really can be hard to find a good decaf bean, but swiss water decaf is generally better than chemical decaf for instance. So idk, if the decaf truly is burnt I'd recommend scouting for a better supplier for it. Anyways, overall was pricier than expected. They've increased their prices but haven't updated the online menu to show that. Had a decent time though, so I'll just go middle of the road for rating ✌️

Awesome place! Love the local buzz and the sausage egg and cheese on their homemade lingucia cheese rolls with their homemade hot sauce! Don’t walk, RUN to The Nook!

Service is great. Super personable whether you have never been a million times or it’s your first time. Food is great. Best linguica rolls in town. Cinnamon rolls and choc chip cookies are amazing as well! Coffee is great. Better than average but not the best I’ve ever had The only thing that is annoying is that you never know what they’ll have each day, It’d be nice to know before taking the trip there but I’m being picky about that

It was our 1st time getting pizza from here we got a linguica and the strangest thing. They were cooked perfectly and delicious .and their pastries were delicious as usual

The best coffee I know, even better staff. Also, I debated skipping weekend plans so I could have more of the specialty pizzas.

The coffee here is a bit pricey and i wouldn't mind it so much but unfortunately the quality and consistency is just not there. As someone who drinks plain ice coffee everytime i've had ice coffee here is taste watered down, one time i noticed the lady poured my drink from a jug in the bake goods counter that was just about empty and the coffee tasted like it was a mix of coffee and ice tea. Really weird. I've bought coffee here 3 times and only once was it acceptable. For 5$ a coffee this simply not worth it. I enjoy going here for the baked goods but I'll stick to cumbys for coffee.

Best coffee. Best staff. Best atmosphere. Best pizza. Need I say more? Local buzz is delicious, amp it up and making it Oreo and you’ll love it even more. The meatball pizza pie they have on special is a wild delight with hot honey drizzled on top. Linguica cheese rolls…. Delicious. Donuts are great. Oh, and love me some King Diamond early in the morning.

The BEST locally owned business by far. The staff here are amazing, especially Sarah. They build a relationship with regulars and you seriously feel like family. I started coming here every Sunday for their linguica cheese rolls and have recently been going every Friday night for pizza. When I tell you they have the best of both, I mean it. They really put a lot of effort and time into making amazing recipes and keeping them consistent. I’ve never been a huge pizza fan, but their pizza is on another level. I love that it has more cheese than sauce and the pepperoni is always crispy and curled around the edges. I’ve tried a variety of drinks and have never been disappointed. I’m so happy that we found this gem a couple years ago and I will never stop coming!

It was so good I went back the same day for another linguica roll! First time I got the carnival cotton candy drink, the second time I got a blue raspberry lemonade. The service was immaculate and I highly recommend them!

I’ll keep it short and simple. If you want the best breakfast sandwich you’ve ever had, get the Asiago bagel bacon egg and cheese with their house made hot sauce. That sauce is the key. Chunky like salsa , super flavorful and spicy. You could put that on a flip flop and it would be good😋. Get one of their specialty coffees you can’t get anywhere else and your set for greatness.

Have tried Nook a couple times. Most recently was a follow-up visit for pizza. Ordered a well done Linguica pizza with extra sauce. Thought they did a great job. Previous visit, I went with the linguica and Buffalo chicken. Both were decent, but i didnt specify well done or extra sauce on the linguica, so lesson learned. Have also had the regular local Buzz on ice and a bacon, egg and cheese on a Asiago bagel with a side of the house hot sauce. Has always been Good service, friendly staff. Place is tiny but kicks out a good product.

I recently discovered The Nook, and every visit has been fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon it, and now I'm a huge fan. The decor is uniquely captivating, featuring retro games, toys, and collectibles that create a nostalgic and enjoyable atmosphere. It's truly unlike any other place I've been to.

I've been here twice and I absolutely love this place. What a little gem. The painkiller is absolutely my favorite coffee beverage in the area. Love all of the horror and vintage/retro decor, which gives a very homey feeling inside. They even have video games you can play while you enjoy your drinks and food. They serve bar style pizza which looks amazing and i have to try! Service has always been great and friendly too! Just wish I lived closer!

I was born & raised in Brockton on South Shore Bar pizza 🍕. I'm a fanatic when it comes to this style of pizza and have been to every location that claims to make it... The Nooks version isn't quite up to that of some of the Goats, but it is a very good bar pizza. The crust was spot on! The laced edges also done perfectly. The cheese blend was very good, however to much cheese.. yes you heard me.. back off a little on the cheese. To much ruines the weight and mouth feel. Also the size is not traditional.. a true Brocktonian bar pizza is 10 in inches not 12. Admittedly, small differences, but they are important for traditional SS Bar Pizza. Lastly, there was a distinct taste of rosemary that was unwelcomed? Overall they get a 5 ⭐.. For this area a very very good version of a South Shore Bar Pizza 🍕

This is a nice cozy place to grab a drink and food. I ordered the tres leches cupcake and it was delicious. The hot chocolate with whipped cream hit the spot for me since it is cold outside.

The Nook is awesome. The unique coffee drinks are consistently delicious. The baked goods taste great with a variety of options. And of course the staff is the BEST! They go the extra mile to make their customers feel welcomed.

This is easily the best hidden gem coffee spot in the South Coast area. Incredible coffee options for any coffee connoisseur including pour over hot and iced coffee, cold brew, nitro, etc. For those with a sweet tooth, this place has you covered with great pastry options and delicious drink options.

The only place that loves coffee more than you do is the Nook. Best coffee in Fairhaven, hands down. "The Buzz" drink is highly recommended for those of you who love coffee milk. Great atmosphere inside with fresh baked pastries and cheese rolls (the lunguica cheese roll is packed!). Check it out!

Awesome little spot. The employees are really nice and the games they have there are great. Can’t wait to try to beat the Pac-Man high score on my next visit! Linguica role is excellent & real pumpkin latte is delicious.

Linguiça Cheese Roll scratches an itch that a Portuguese Sausage Musubi hasn't in years. The coffee's the kind that one needs from a cafe like this and there's skooma on the menu?! Geeks, rejoice. 100% this kitchen is the tightest I've ever seen. I'd previously, hangrily, griped on the pace of service but that is 100% an unprepared customer's dilemma.

Katie and the ladies are so kind. It's like you have known them your whole life, after you just met them for the 1st time. Food and coffee is top notch. I highly recommend The Nook to everyone!

Atmosphere is nice, the employees are sweet. Not a fan of the painkiller coffee it was too much for me. But my friends enjoyed it. I did like the linguica roll.

Such a cool spot when visiting our friends in Fairhaven! The linguica rolls are so good. Coffee was perfect and the iced green tea was made just right! I look forward to coming back!

This place is EPIC! The service is fantastic, the food and coffee are phenomenal! The decor is incredible! I thought I had walked into my version of the greatest toy store ever! Oh and the entertainment was crazy! This place is right up my alley!

Wandered in looking for a morning coffee and found a really cool spot. Lots of gaming stuff, music, very comfortable little place to hang out for a bit.

Very nice place. Cute little shop with great service and amazing coffee. It was great variety of other drinks if you are not a coffee drinker. We also had the coffee cake which was also very good. I loved the the laid-back atmosphere. Me and my sisters had a fun time drinking or coffee playing the guitar they had and the video games throughout the room. Comfortable chairs. Will definitely be coming back again.

The Nook is a place I make time to visit every time I come back home for a visit. If you want a wicked good coffee or espresso drink, I highly recommend. The owners are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable about their coffee.

Amazing lattes! So smooth and so yummy!

i walked in here today expecting to just drink my coffee (which is always made perfectly) and get some work done. while both of those things were true, i also happen to sit down next to the owners and some of their buddies. not only did we have wonderful conversation, but they also let me try some items they’re testing to add to the menu. and oh my GOD were they delicious. these guys might just be the kindest, coolest, most genuine people on this planet.

I didn't get the cashier's name,but she was super pleasant and helpful. I got an iced bubble tea, which is super delicious,and a bunch of reviews recommended the linguica roll,so I'm looking forward to that as well. Based on this visit,I would come back again,and recommend this place to others ☺️

Great decor, great pastries and good coffee!

100/100: Perfect for a quick bite, or just hanging around. Limited seating but still cozy. Service is outstanding. We wanted some coffee, so the first choice we found on Google Maps was The Hook. We decided to go and check it out. Our order included additional dessert. The coffee was delicious and the cakes were very good too. The site and the service are excellent. While you wait for your order, you can enjoy the wallpapers or just play some arcade.

The iced mocha was pretty good, and the cookies and cream cupcakes were pretty tasty as well. Interesting vibe at this place, which wasn’t my favorite, and the space felt kind of cramped and busy.

Had been here once or twice: Always thought the coffee was overpriced and the place was just a hangout for the owner and his friends. Yesterday I actually saw the owner ask a customer with a service dog to leave!! Absolutely despicable: The dog wasn’t bothering anyone and the customer had the identification for it, but the owner insisted he “couldn’t risk a fine from the town”. I hope the owner realizes it’s a $1000 federal fine minimum for violating ADA regulations and I really hope that poor customer filed a complaint on him! Won’t be going back again, highly recommend the Donut Factory in Fairhaven or Mirasols in Dartmouth for better coffee and a more welcoming atmosphere.

This place is amazing with an awesome sense of community. They have videogames to play while you drink tour coffee or eat a snack. I loved this place and you will too!

Really good coffee and had a great experience there. The shop is super cool with their decorations. I tried the root beer buzz after a recommendation from someone in the area and it was surprisingly good! I have never heard of coffee with root beer before. We also had the level up breakfast sandwiches on the linguica rolls and they were great! Already went here twice on our shirt trip and will probably go again tomorrow.

Super friendly staff. Great tasting coffee. Didn't try any food and am definitely regretting it - everything looked delicious. Prices were really reasonable. Will be back to try some of their coffee creations next time. Worth a visit and worth the drive if you want good coffee in the area.
