This place is a vibe!! It was cool sitting in a location that has been seen in multiple shows. The service was quick. Drinks were strong and delicious! It’s too bad we couldn’t hang out for too long before we were called for our kbbq table just a couple blocks away.

I have been living in Koreatown for years and can't believe I have been missing out on this place. I loved the vibe and decor. The bartender was super friendly. They had a nice selection of cocktails to try as well as food. The soy wings were perfection. I will definitely be coming back.

This place smells really horrible. Unfortunately, like a urinal cake. I wish it was better because it's a great location but... the whole restaurant smells like a poorly cleaned bathroom, no matter what location you move to. The drinks were ok but the smell was not enough to balance it out.

We had an absolutely ridiculous experience at this restaurant. It took a while for anyone to come take our order, despite us ringing the service bell several times. The six of us ordered six meals and six drinks with a first server, a blonde woman. Only five drinks were brought to the table. Then, when the meals were brought to the table, one was missing. After around ten minutes, we enquired with a second server, a young man, as to when the last meal would come to the table. He checked and informed us that the woman who took our order forgot to put that meal through. My friend repeated his order to this second server several times. When the food was brought out by a third person, a brown-haired woman, it wasn’t the food he’d ordered. We informed her that the food was wrong. By that point, the rest of us had long finished eating. My friend repeated his order again to the second and third servers. Finally, after around an hour, the right food was brought to our table. My friend ate by himself while the rest of us waited for him. When my friend went to pay, she informed the woman who took her payment - the first lady who originally messed out the order - that she wasn’t going to tip. As we were leaving, the third server we dealt with informed us that it was the restaurant’s policy to charge an 18% service charge for parties of four people or more, and became quite aggressive, insisting that they CHANGED a meal for us. We explained to her that no meal was changed, they somehow managed to mess it up twice. She kept maintaining that their mistake was rectified in ten minutes (it was not), and went as far as to tell my friend if he wasn’t happy he should have refused his food. Which is exactly what he had done when the wrong food was brought to the table. Bear in mind that the food he ate was paid for - we never tried to have it removed from the bill. After an increasingly frustrating back and forth with this woman, who kept insisting that the staff had been very accommodating when they failed to take a correct order TWICE, she gave up and told us to leave. We were happy to oblige. Quite frankly, as someone who worked in restaurants for over ten years, both the service and the server’s attitude made me very angry. The food was alright, but this is by quite a big margin the most incompetent bunch of servers I’ve ever come across. Mistakes happen, and we were totally understanding after my friend’s food failed to show up the first time. But the fact that it took three people to get the right food to us, and that it took an hour, put us in a less-than-ideal mood. This belligerent woman’s refusal to admit the two mistakes the staff made, instead claiming that my friend simply changed his mind, while insisting he should have refused the food he waited so long for? Simply ridiculous. Suffice to say, we won’t be visiting again. But for the sake of this restaurant’s patrons, I hope management gives their staff some much-needed training in how to correctly input six meals into their system.

overhyped spot, came here a few times bc I lived nearby but it was decent. Only worth it during happy hour & drinks aren’t the best. We came here on a Friday one night, waited for about 20-30min to be seated which was no issue. Once seated, they took our orders and came back 40+min later with our drinks, we then ordered the 2nd round on the spot which no joke took 1 hour to get. We couldn’t find the server for the check and had to hunt someone down to get it. We didn’t tip bc it was pretty ridiculous waiting times compared to many other spots in LA. THE WAITER STOPPED OUTSIDE THE BAR TO ASK FOR A TIP!! He was upset we didn’t tip him anything, which we always do unless it’s pretty bad service… he was pressuring us to change the receipt to include tip but after some back and forth, we just decided to walk away… haven’t gone back since

Upon arriving at The Prince, it initially appears as a hotel, but stepping inside reveals a space adorned with Chinese decor, clearly a restaurant and bar. The standout dish here is the whole fried Korean chicken - a must-try and my main reason for visiting. Be prepared to pay a premium for this delicacy, as sides and drinks are extra. The ambiance transports you to Asia with its retro charm, yet upon exiting, the contrast of LA's upscale, modern neighborhood greets you. It's definitely worth a visit.

The interior of this place is an international treasure. What a wonderful, wonderfully intact early midcentury space. If only they switched the lighbulbs at the table lamps to something a little more mellow, it'd really feel like a night out in 1958. Excellent cocktails, friendly waitstaff (the call buttons are so much fun), and nice, salty, if slightly pricey, standard Korean food. The Prince is the embodiment of a certain version of glittery old L.A. charm that we need to preserve for all time!

This place is amazing. Super low-key, one of my favorite places in LA. They knock a few dishes out of the park and their cocktails are well made. Their spicy boneless chicken with mozza is the best. It does pack some heat, which is why I order the sauce on the side. It's great quality boneless fried chicken on top of a bed of melted mozzarella, on a hot skillet. I've never had anything like it and it is killer. Their shrimp fried rice and fried sweet & sour tofu (sauce on the side) are my other go to's. Those dishes are well worth the money. I highly recommend this place for a date or just a night out.

I'm honestly shocked at how many good reviews-for the food- there are. The bar is great, very cool atmosphere and plenty of tables and bar space so I'd give that 5 stars. But the food... 2 at best. Either folks rating it high have never had good Korean food or the place was having a really off night. The fried rice was basic, the spicy chicken tasted like a sweet and spicy chicken you get at an American-Chinese restaurant and the kimchi pancake had very little kimchi in it. Would definitely not go back for the food. There was 1 really nice server, all the bartenders looked miserable.

A bit disappointing for such a historic, iconic bar. First is the wait--at least when we went, they didn't have an online wait-list. So we were stuck waiting outside for over an hour before we could head in. Our own fault for going on a Friday night, I suppose. Once inside, the decor and everything is really charming. But our booth was right under the blasting speaker, so we couldn't hear each other talk at all haha. We only got food--the bulgogi was great, but it didn't even come with a side of rice (which didn't seem like too much to ask based on the price for the bulgogi). The food here was great. The atmosphere here is so relaxed and chill. It's got a european bar aesthetic, but it serves some top-tier Korean food. They also offer valet parking, only $3. So worth it.

Cute concept! The decor is super unique and the drinks were 10/10! We went on a Thursday night and worried that we wouldn’t get a spot but it was quieter than expected! Check it out!!

Pretty neat experience overall, only giving it 4 stars because my top Korean Fried Chicken spot remains "No. 1 Best Fried Chicken" in Dallas. The restaurant itself has some neat history though and the Pina Colada was on point.

We usually go for drinks and atmosphere, but we finally ate at this place and dangg, it was good. We ordered so much food and tore it up. Love this place. Such a weird romantic space and extra cool that it’s the bar from New Girl.

One of the best bars in the area. Parking can be a little troublesome, but 100% worth the experience. First off, the bar itself is very neat. The medieval-like setting is unique and super cool. The korean family running the bar is lovely. They were extremely welcoming and took care of all our cravings. We ordered the half & half chicken and a korean beer. They had a wide selection of different foods like bulgogi and fried pancakes, but their chicken is what they're known for. And wow, the seasoning and sauce used for the spicy chicken is amazing. TL;DR A must try Korean bar that serves amazing chicken and drinks

We had the best dinner here while my daughters (ages 17 and 20) fangirled over the venue. Their favorite show, “New Girl” was filmed here and the owner made it extra special by letting them take pictures at the bar.

I love mongolian BBQ. This place has always done it in an authentic way. Due to the economic downturn, the entire neighborhood is somewhat run down. However, the food is excellent. You mix your own v
