Nice little neighborhood style pub, food was ok, the prices were very expensive for what it is. Unfortunately what was once a quaint little neighborhood has turned into a very bougie area.

Stayed in Safety Harbor for 3 weeks. found this pub the last week we were there. what a surprise.Great band was playing when we walked in. Like most places.In safety harbor it was very cool

A nice, chill break in an otherwise hectic holiday. Nikki(sp?) is a sweetheart, and this would definitely be a go-to if we lived nearby

Where do I even start with this place. We were looking for a place to listen to live music and dance. When we walked in, we were pleased. The crowd was a little older than us, but the customers were very nice, polite, and chatty, so we stayed. My waitress was great. Friendly, attentive, and fast. The young waiter was also amazing. He handled the busyness great! The food and drinks were good as well. But whoever the blond lady behind the bar is ruined our night. If she is a manager, she should be fired. If she's the owner, she should stay home. She was rude and cranky to everyone. Both customers and staff. She was even angry at the countertop she was wiping down. I observed her be very nasty to two older gentlemen who were trying to cash out. She stated, " What are you wanting? Are you wanting to cash out or what??" While rolling her eyes and shrugging. They were there for hours and I'm sure they spent a couple hundred dollars, as did we. Then she got into a domestic with the brick oven pizza guy (her husband) over another female customer. The whole thing was weird and uncomfortable, and she is so off-putting. I've been to countless pubs around the world and have never been treated this poorly, ever. We will never be back here, if we decide to visit Safety Harbor again.

Food was good drinks were awesome atmosphere was fantastic wings were a little hot and spicy to my taste but they did taste fantastic

This is a cozy little Irish looking bar. It has a semi separated room that avails more tables. I had meatball with garlic bread appetizer. Then I had a banger sausage sandwich. They know how to make comfort food 😊

Great pizza and wings big screen TV to watch sports!

Pretty great little pub! I've been here many times and never had a bad experience. The food and cocktail menus both are thoughtfully curated. They have live music on weekends and it's usually solid local musicians. The best part is the atmosphere and the wait staff. Just a really friendly neighborhood pub. Go check it out, you'll be glad you did! Feel free to put a couple bucks on the "buy someone a drink" board under "Gerritt P". ;)

I have been to the pub more than a handful of times. Typically to see some live music. The bartenders are always very friendly and service is on point! Tonight the place was PACKED and the bartenders and those helping behind the bar were just as amazing as usual. One of my favorite places to hang out and listen to music!

So glad I decided to check this place out finally and what a great surprise. Not only did I run into old friends from days past in Safety Harbor but they are now the General Manager, Nikki and Chef Jason here at The Pub at Safety Harbor. Happy to know that I can once again dine on chef Jason's famous prime meat loaf. It is the best you will ever have. Also tried the wood fired pizza and it is also a hit. Can't wait get back again and try more of the menu. I quit going to Safety Harbor after they split with their previous place there. Happy to be back.

I didn’t find them very accommodating with watching sports or seating

Super busy on a 3rd Friday, but we enjoyed the celebratory atmosphere. The pizza was great!

Great food, amazing wings and wood fired pizza, full bar, amazing service, comfortable setting, outside patio with flame heaters. Competitive prices. I had a great experience.

8th street Pub at Safety Harbor Baked wings Ordered Dee's wings and mango habanero. Dees were super savory and gave off notes of italian dressing Mango habanero was super sticky but enough tang and heat to pass the test for me. Inhouse blue cheese and ranch. We had the blue cheese obviously....because were not children. Sauce was lacking....plenty of it but just not pungent enough nor enough chonk. On the pricier side. 8 jumbo wings for 15 Rating: 8.5 /10 Would order again Service was fantastic.

Went on a sunday evening. Sat at a table and waited a few mins no one came over. No big deal so I went to the bar to get a couple of drinks & was told a server would take care of us at our table. Waited at the table a few more mins no server so we left! Not a regular there. Felt like we didnt belong

Looking for new place to eat and found this little gem by passing by. It's just off the main drag in Safety Harbor. Sat outside in small beer garden ot back for dinner and catch football game. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Checked on us frequently and refilled water and ice tea without asking. The quality of the food was a wonderful surprise for a sports bar. I had bangers and mash, my husband had the shepherds pie, both got salade. Good greens on the salade and homade ranch dressing, the sausage was tender and juicy. The meat in the pie was flavorful, husband just wished for little more gravy. Live in the area and will definitely be back.

I was a little apprehensive meeting a buddy here with my 2 young sons, but it was actually a nice family atmosphere, at least when we were there. The food was ok, the staff was nice and attentive.

My favorite local " cheers" pub! The meatloaf is fantastic served with a spicy catsup. Service is always excellent...love it that they know my beer choice and bring it right out. Also, thanks for providing great live music!

We shared the meat balls, the pizza is super fresh...made to order and straight out of the hot brick oven.

Omg Dee's Wings are so amazing I wish I had more! The Fire Roasted Pizza even better! I loves looking at the oven reminded me of my childhood fireplace! My favorite were the skellingtons everywhere lol yes I'm a weirdo 🤪

Had a fabulous time while watching Miami Dolphins. Nikki was very attentive never leaving us to wanting for anything. She was very welcoming and personable. Will definitely be back next week.

I love this place! It was my first visit but won’t be my last! I bought a house recently in Safety Harbor and The Pub is walking distance from my house!! The food, service, vibe and live music all worked in harmony!

Best pizza in Pinellas. UPDATE: 9 years later this is still one of the best pizzas in the area. The crust is always perfect and crispy. Today we had some wings and they were amazing! If you’ve never been here you have to come and try the food, enjoy the quality service and ambiance.

Sort of confused as to what this place wants to be: a straight up dive bar/sports bar or a pizza restaurant or both? It certainly doesn’t give off friendly restaurant vibes, that’s for sure. Tried to eat here twice and both times were unsuccessful. First time: went in on a Friday to grab food and watch March Madness, you know the biggest sporting event of the Spring and the place instead had the loudest, most obnoxious live music blocking the front door. Additionally, hardly any basketball was on any of the TVs. We figured, ok we’ll come back another time. Fast forward to the following Sunday. 2nd time: called ahead to confirm hours and make sure there would be no live music and basketball would be on the TVs. We were told open until 11pm and shouldn’t be a problem. Stopped by at 8:45pm thinking we had ample time to grab some pizza and watch some of the games only to be told they stopped serving both food and alcohol at 9pm??? We legit just called 30 minutes prior and we’re told we had until 11pm. Do they just let people hang out inside without food and drink for 2 hours? Makes no sense. Besides for the poor communication around the operating hours, all of the TVs were shut off. After walking past this place many times and seeing sports on the TVs, I always assumed they were a sports pub but I guess only if local tampa sports are playing. Overall, really disappointed with our 2 tries to eat here because I really think Safety Harbor could use a solid sports pub with decent food. Feels like this is a locals only type of drinking spot instead. Too many other good pizza places around town to try for a third time so we’ll just go to those pizza restaurants in the future.

Came to the Pub with a few friends. Extremely rude blonde bartender with pigtails. Plenty of other places to go to. Won’t be back.

We just moved here from Romania and we discovered this gem thanks to a friend of ours. The live music and the wings were out of this world! This is our new favorite place in Safety Harbor😬

This place is very welcoming. Bartender Chris is very personable and just cool. Every employee we ran into acknowledged us and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. The food was awesome (meat balls and chili con queso dip). We will definitely be back. The food was great, but the employees made it better. Can’t wait to try the pizza! 👍

Was very disappointed. We got there when they opened at 4:00pm. Their menu was limited to a few appetizers. Unable to order pizza or Meatballs until 6:00pm because ovens were not started until around 5:00pm. The caso appetizer was expensive for the serving size and drinks were also over priced.

Small but very quaint pub, crowd is over 30 and amazing bands to entertain you. Service was great, however didn't get a chance to try the food.

We had a nice time since the service was really good and they had a nice duo playing there on a Saturday. The food ... not too much. The pretzel app was still cold inside. The buffalo dip was OK but it looks like they counted 8 chips to go along with it. Pizza was good. Lots of potential; hope they improve.

Let me start by saying we enjoy this place, good food and live music. Ordered a calzone with some veggie toppings that the server recommended. Came out burnt on top and watery liquid filled the tin it was in. Then to my surprise on the bill I was charged 12.50 for the veggies on top of the 14.00 for the calzone. That's almost 27 bucks for a meatless calzone! I get it, there's a supply shortage in some areas, the server only had to mention each veggie was priced separately but instead had to say that "he doesn't control the prices, twice". the owner did stop by to offer beers but I was driving, should of at least comped the veggie end of the bill. Not sure if we will be back to eat there.

We’ve been avoiding The Pub because we thought it was just that - some dark, loud, hole in the wall. Boy, were we wrong! This is our new favorite pizza place in Safety Harbor!! I’m not a fan of New York style pizza because the crust gets soggy. The maestro in front of the pizza oven at The Pub has serious game here. No soggy pizza, tons of flavor! The Pub is very clean, modern, and not noisy at all. The service was perfect! I cannot say enough good things about the Pub and my apologies for waiting this long. Better late than never, right? Thank you for everything!!

The Caesar salad with chicken was delicious and the portion was worth the price. We went near the end of the 3rd Friday celebration, Friendly staff, good service, even at the end of a BUSY night.

The soda there is always flat but the pizza is mediocre.

I really really miss your meatball sliders. I would take people just to have them. They said it was really they best part about the place. Is there any chance of it returning? Of course the pizza is top! But it would always be ordered with Sliders too. Had to downvote 2 stars since I realized that they raised the price of pizza. I don't think the price increase was necessary unless there is some sort of shortage. The food actually tastes good but the value is not there at all.
