This former food truck turned dine-in restaurant is amazing! Food is nothing like anything else in Alexandria. Spices are tasty but not overdone. Absolutely delicious!

Stopped on my way through town during a road trip. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband had the Rasta Pasta. Both were quite good. I tried his chicken and it was fantastic. I preferred that over the shrimp bc of the sauce but either way very enjoyable. Next time I'll try the chicken tacos and I'm expecting good things. Staff was very friendly and the environment was clean. Best of luck to the total onion 🧅

Was a 1st timer wed july 17th ,positive experience, staff professional and on point ,the 3 dishes I had were awesome and each dish my daughters had was also ....long story short,we'll frequently gubout here .......yawl keep up the great work

I had the oxtails with the rasta pasta and corn. I'm not a big fan of spicy so I couldn't eat the corn but those where the best oxtails I've ever had and I had to get an extra one lol they are the best!!! If u love oxtails then this is ur place!!! Only small issue that I have is they should give a rice or mashed potatoes with gravy option to go with the oxtails other than that it's perfect!!!

If you are going for oxtails, make sure you're there as soon as they open. They open at 11:00 a.m., We were there at 11:45 and they were already sold out! Food is tasty, decent prices and ok portion size. Staff is very friendly and place has nice atmosphere. Check out the menu before you come, because I was expecting Jamaican food, so I was disappointed. No plantains, or rice with peas, jerk chicken has no heat/spice.

The food is flavorful, the meat is juicy and devouringly delicious. I absolutely enjoyed my food! The owners have beautiful spirits. Super nice staff, clean inviting environment. I literally ate here back to back and I’m sure they will see me frequently. 11 out of 10! Stay blessed and continue serving the best!

Worth every cent, a fantastic meal that will carry you to the Caribbean and back, much fuller than before. Please support these folks, by all appearances a real working class commitment to quality control and one of the best decorated restaurants in the state!

This is it right heaaaa…wowww the food was so flavorful.. dem jerk quesadillas and that shrimp Rasta pasta…wowwww.. no pics cuz we ate it all… the staff was so nice and welcoming..we drove 4 hrs and it was worth it coming across this gem..thank you for your bomb food and amazing service..and yes the fruit juice is a must💯💯💯💯💯

The vibes in the building when it comes to the Royal onion 🧅.First time trying this type of cuisine got the jerk chicken pasta.When it come to taste of food, wait time, and Service all receives flying colors. Will more then definitely be back for another plate and try some tacos next time.

My husband and I went for an early Valentine’s Day meal. We were greeted and talked to by the VERY friendly owners the atmosphere was so nice and you could tell they put a lot of thought into the decor, they even had a really upscale selfie wall! And oh my lord the food! I want to turn around and order everything on their menu! AMAZING! I had the oxtail quesadilla and taco and I swear I didn’t have to chew! It was so delicious and tender and so flavorful! We actually bought a bottle of the sauce to take home! (They make it there and it is delightful!) please go to this restaurant! I cannot believe they didn’t have a line down the street! I am blown away by how amazing the service and food was.

I got the jerk chicken tacos to go. They were delicious. There was a lot of chicken on each taco. I look forward to going back and trying more items from the menu.

The oxtail with grits and the caribbean corn is phenomenal.

10/10 for the food and customer service experience. The oxtail and shrimp are amazing and the jerk shrimp is unlike any other that I've tried. They even let me try the jerk shrimp. The portion is definitely worth the price. Mine was a half portion. Will definitely be returning!! Staff was very nice & helpful. 😊

Your palate will make your taste buds dance to the tune of BoJangles.The owners and staff are gracious, welcoming, and attentive. The food is beyond delicious. You will leave satisfied beyond your wildest imagination. When you leave, your first thought will be what day am I coming back. While it shows up on Maps as a Jamacian place, it's more accurately described as Jamaican/Mexican fusion. Most of the jamaican options include jerk sauce. I was a little disappointed that there were no curries. I had the chicken quesadilla and an apple pie chimichanga. Both wee excellent. Food is fresh and made to order. Staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable considering that you're getting something a little off the beaten path. I'll be back.

Mrs Nisha and her husband opening this place. Is the absolute best thing that happened to alexandria. Now if they added fried pork chops, yams,greens, corn bread and Patti Labelle 5 cheese baked mac and cheese and baked chicken. I would move in. Easily some of the best ppl you would ever meet and if you love their food like I know you will Leave a tip like me.

Fantastic food and great service! The food has fantastic flavors and good portion sizes. The owners are nice and the atmosphere lets you know you’re about to be in for a treat. You don’t need to worry about being hungry after you’ve finished your plate!

Fantastic food and great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The decor makes you feel like you’re in a Dallas restaurant, not in little old Alexandria. Had oxtails with Rasta pasta, it was phenomenal.

I ate here for the first time. My husband loved the tacos. I had the oxtails and pasta. The oxtails were very tender and well seasoned. I could have taken a little more heat. My only complaint is that they had a lot of fat. Corn was excellent, and the pasta could use a little more sauce. The tacos seemed a bit pricey for two of a small size. Overall, the oxtail plate was good and plentiful. The customer service was superb, and the restaurant was simply decorated and clean. I highly recommend that you try it. You'll enjoy something new and that tastes like home.
