Haven’t been here in about ten years, but was in the neighborhood and stopped in, Savhanna was our waitress, and she was great. The food was fresh and hot, the value was great with nice sized portions. The place was crowded, and she gave great service. Couldn’t have asked for more. The music is extremely loud, so be prepared.

UPDATE: Graham reached out personally to offer his apology for this incident described below AND invited me and a guest to come to the restaurant for a “re-do”. When I arrived, Graham was there and introduced himself and again apologized. Chris and Savannah were both there, Savannah offered a sincere apology and Chris was very kind about the entire situation. This was by far the best response from a small business owner and Graham has customers forever in myself and my friends and family! Thank you Shamrock fam!!!! I’ve been here before on karaoke night and it was a great time. Well, tonight Savannah was our waitress and everything was great. We asked if we could order the Irish Nachos on a bed of chips instead of fries, Savannah said “Sure!” without hesitation. Well, unfortunately, the nachos came out rubbery. So we politely called Savannah over, let her know that the toppings were great but the chips were very unappetizing. Savannah’s entire demeanor changed and she snarls “Well that’s why people just leave it with the fries since the chips get rubbery in the oven.” She grabs our plate, rolls her eyes and goes back to the kitchen. We can see her using expressive hand gestures while explaining what happened to the chefs and then she storms off to enter the kitchen with the dish. After this, I was very uncomfortable with her handling our food. I located a manager (Chris) and asked if we could please close our tab- even offering to still pay for the nachos. Chris was very apologetic and extremely kind - stating he’d follow up with Savannah. I paid our bill and left the premises. As we are approaching our car, Savannah runs out of the establishment and accuses us of not paying our bill. I let her know that we closed out with Chris- she runs back into the restaurant, assuming to verify, and never exits. This was such an uncomfortable experience and Chris’ kindness is the only part that made this salvageable. It’ll be a long time before I come back here- which is too bad, because they are one of the few places that have lots of events during the week in small town Murrieta.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Went in excited to be in an Irish environment because I am Irish, ordered a couple of draft beers before we had to look online at a menu. Got the beers and they were so flat. The waitress told the bartender and he said no they weren't and had her stir our beer at the table, which made them even flatter. I then ordered something different and that was just as flat if not worse. Our waitress said it wasn't flat. I was going to leave but had already ordered the Irish egg rolls hoping they didn't spit in our food we ate and they were good. Probably won't be back because they were rude AF. I know what a flat beer is and that was super unprofessional of them to argue with us about it. Beer wasn't even cold FYI. Sorry good luck

They close most days at 10pm even though it says they are open later. Karaoke on Monday is for 2 hours from 8pm to 10pm

I finally got around to checking out this place. I went around noon on a Thurs. No issues with parking and no issues with seating. The food was fantastic! Authentic food. I ordered the Traditional Irish Boxty and the Irish Eggrolls. Both were tasty and served in bigger portions than I expected. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple of beverages as well. Great, relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be revisiting this place. Highly recommend!!

Tuesday comedy show. Three stars because my taste buds do not work for Irish cuisine…. Although the corned beef eggrolls almost made me like corned beef for first time. My neighbor at the bar LOVED them. Will try something different next time… yes, well worth a bi-weekly trip for comedy fans (free$$entrance!!!).

Great place overall. Food Is great, some Mondays are more busy than others. I've been going here since 2021 or so for karaoke. Karaoke nights are super fun watching others do thier thing. It's one of the better places. If I lived in Murrieta, I'd go more often. Looking forward to going on other nights. Thank you for this place!!!

I am only writing the review because Sean was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He is the definition of customer service. If you want to take a Masterclass of how to be a great server you should take it from Sean. He was entertaining, friendly, and knew what we needed before we had to ask. The food and drinks are fabulous and the trivia night was so fun but SEAN MADE THE NIGHT. Promote above peers. 10/10 would recommend.

Always a great experience here. Good irish/English food, good tap list and cocktails, and they always have something fun going on. Personally a big fan of the reuben sandwich! We stumbled across a live band when we came in last and stayed longer than anticipated to stay and listen.

Food was great. Excellent service. Highly recommend fish and chips and braised short ribs and mash potatoes. Yum.

Haven’t had a full meal here yet but have gotten the Irish tater tots twice and they were delicious! This place also does trivia on Wednesday nights which is a fun time also! I’ll definitely be back to try more food.

Chris a server there is a complete jerk. He will steal lie and cheat to get his way. Beware.

Came Sunday and enjoyed live music. Mellow and nice not too loud. Typical pub food. Had the reuben. It was good.

Love the bingo! Always good food, but slow coming out of kitchen. Next time I go I'm going to go 1.5 hours before bingo to get food before it starts.

We've been here a number of times to see bands play, comedy, karaoke, play bingo, and of course eat. This time, we came to eat with friends before they head off to Mexico. I chose the 1/2 Fish & Chips entrée with a Dead Guy Imperial IPA while Shelly had rhe Meatloaf entrée (with mashed potatoes and asparagus).

They won't answer the phone, they won't let me get food on St Patrick's day unless I pay 20 bucks. It's a dump

Can't ever say enough good things about Shamrock!! The fish and chips is my go to the portions are huge and the fish is delicious the batter is perfect and soo flavorful with the perfect tartar sauce. My husband flip flops between a few different things but this time he got the poutine and it's delicious and as you can see cheesy as well and my daughter got a simple burger or so one would think but there was nothing simple about the flavor it was delicious and with how juicy it was well maybe they should have a famous fast food burger chains former slogan about if something not getting all over the place it not belongings in yer pie hole!! Never disappointed when we come here and the staff is friendly especially after a pint or 2!!

Food was fantastic! Service was excellent! Will definitely be back again and again.

This pub has a consistently fun, welcoming atmosphere with outstanding food and drink choice, and with genuine, cheerful staff. We went to duelling pianos event on New Year’s Eve, and have gone back twice for dinner. Clearly a popular local venue, and deservedly so!

Update 1/13/24 Still just as wonderful as ever. We've moved away and made it a point to come by they're like family to us, our big shamily! Always a fun, great place to come! Traditional pub fair is served the wait staff is friendly and quick and the live music adds to the experience.

I've been coming here for a few years. Food is always hot and fresh. Servers are always friendly. You'll be challenged to find better entertainment. If you're from Murrieta or Temecula and haven't been here then you're missing out.

Great food and vibe. The corned beef and cabbage is delicious! The pretzel is pretty dang good, too. Speaking of corned beef, the corned beef egg roll appetizer is pretty amazing.

First visit. We had the shepherds pie and 50/50. They came out piping hot which was fantastic. It did take an extended time to get our food. We loved the atmosphere of the facility. Good flavors and friendly service.

9.1.23 Edit: Still my favorite place! If you haven't tried it, You're missing out! My favorite local pub. I wish they had more food options, but everything I've eaten has been great. If you're looking for a friendly pint, this is the best!

Nice cozy place, and it’s in a good area too. I come here every once in a while, and I will say it’s a nice comfortable place to drink and catch up with some buddies. They have events once in a while as well which shows they care about the community. Prices aren’t insane and the food is solid for what it is. A solid 4/5 in my book.

Hard to get a drink even with 3 people behind bar and they were not friendly. Great Irish band, Nobody was dancing except me. A pitiful display of dull and lethargic guests and servers. However one server brought me water without me asking! and was happy and moving and singing after I moved to an empty part of the restaurant to sit and dance by myself.

What a wonderful venue! We never have a bad time there . Graham and Paul run a fantastic bar , which is complimented by their wonderful and helpful staff . The bar choice is top notch , and the Guiness flows like velvet. For us grown-ups , there's always some form of entertainment going on , and kids eat like kings or Queens. Definitely my local from this point on, and only to happy to shout their praises . You don't leave here feeling hungry or thirsty, and the bank hasn't been robbed . As for the food , my God, it's tasty and abundant, and the choice is just spot on for Irish bars fare. Still can't believe we've found a place around d here that feels so welcoming and warm ,as soon as your foots through the door . Give it a go , and you be the judge , my verdict is ,I want to be sentenced for life !!! Thanks to all who made us welcome, and see you soon, if the wife says I can play out .

This was our first visit to The Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery. The Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery is located at the end of the Albertson's Shopping Center on Winchester Road. Since it is in a big shopping center area there is plenty of parking to be found. As we entered we were greeted with Irish music playing and the bartender letting us know we can sit anywhere we like. The furnishing is dominated by high top tables and barstools but they do have some regular tables with not so high chairs. Speaking of furnishing, we did observe that a lot of the tables are extremely worn and chairs, although sturdy, were as hard as a rock. Beyond that the atmosphere is that of an Irish Pub and we can tell that the plan was for a fun venue and not that of upscale or even Applebee's level. Our server for the day was Briana. Briana was very pleasant and did her best although she was responsible for 10 tables all by herself. Because she was left alone in the dining room, service was far from attentive and things like additional request for condiments were overlooked and did not show well as the food was dry. As for food: we ordered the crispy fried artichokes for $13.99 and we both opted for the Rueben that rang the register at $17.99 each. The crispy fried artichokes made it to the table in a short time. We were a bit underwhelmed because with only 9 small fried artichoke hearts it meant that each tiny nugget cost $1.55 each. In the famous words of Cheap Pete, "Good lord, that's a lot of money". The chokes were good but not worth the price of $13.99. The Rueben's were a different story. There was a bounty of corned beef and a pile of their special fries. The only problem with my Rueben is that it sat under the heat lamp while Briana was tending to 9 other tables and the bread became a bit soggy which resulted in a sandwich that would not stay together. My wife ordered hers without bread and the chef must have thought that also meant without Thousand Island dressing - she did not get any. Problem was Briana still alone with 10 tables did not get back to us until we were almost finished. I did ask for ranch dressing for my fries (I hate ketchup) and that never made it to our table. The Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery could have easily earned 5 stars today. Because they were short on personnel I can't give them any more than 4 stars and that is being generous. We plan to come back and give them another shot. Hell, we might even go when they feature entertainment. Senior date night LOL...

Great place. Our waitress was awesome! Very attentive, quick, friendly. A definite 5 star plus! Hamburger was mediocre - I ordered it well done. Didn’t happen. Drinks tasted for both of as if there was no alcohol in it. Food very disappointing. Atmosphere and service great!

The very best fish and chips and shrimp. No other come even close,not in Monterey area. Very highly recommend fish/shrimp chips.

The atmosphere of this place is awesome the food was ok i came here for the fish n chips the chips great the fish was not great im hoping the forgot to season a little salt would have helped… the worst part of the dining experience sadly was the service our server literally forgot about us and the saddest part is there was 2 other tables aside from us the place was pretty empty, it took our server over 30 mins to come take our order only because we asked another server if we could order and she said let me get your server and then it still took a few minutes because she was on the phone😱 i would have left but we had good recommendation and didnt want to judge the restaurant because of a waitress but at the end food wasnt good service not good

Great local bar. ALWAYS has fun stuff going on, good food, staff is always friendly, owner is a great guy. Can get loud in there at times, but it's always a good time. A true part of Murrieta that is an irreplaceable part of our community.

My friend and I had a great time their. The drink was good. There were many regular there and they were very friendly and welcome the new comer.

The Mac n cheese was bomb. Pork sandwich and fish n chips were also good. Service was good, live music, would go back.

First time here. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service was on point, and food delicious 😋. I had the Dublin sliders they were very flavorful. I enjoy my fries a bit crisp. And usually they're never done right, but these were perfect. My friends had the fish and chips which everyone says its delicious. The portions on their plates were giant. My drink was good too. I recommend you try Shamrock if you're in the area looking for a GOOD bite.. There was live music as well. I think next ill try adult bingo!

Food is great and the staff are wonderful. Scott and Sean always take great care of us. There is always something happening here, too. We go most often for karaoke on Monday and Thursday, but they also have bingo, trivia and all sorts of other events. Definitely worth checking out. It's a great spot to grab a drink and a bite while you catch up.

Every time you come something makes you happy, either the food or the entertainment or the friendliness of the staff or the people hanging out at the bar! The shepherds pie is underrated! get the cabbage on the side 👍👍

A great pub with traditional Irish food that will leave you wanting more. We found this place while driving thru the parking lot after shopping. This place has a nice Irish atmosphere, live Irish bands, and some delicious Irish dishes. The food prices are very reasonable but forewarned traditional Irish food is very heavy. Also their service was stellar! A very warm welcoming atmosphere!

No Happy Hour…. Say whaaat 👎👎 Dumpy, looks like a lot of drunks party hardy here. Establishment does not maintain their damaged equipment from the drunks. ie: see photo. Oh and VERY EXPENSIVE!!

My favorite place to eat out. The food is amazing (fish and chips are my favorite), the service is spectacular (Carla is my favorite!) and the atmosphere is always fun (it's like you're a part of the family)! They have a variety of events planned throughout the week, Adult Bingo is my favorite, comedy night, my second favorite. If you haven't stopped in, it's a must!

I ordered the spinach dip from the on Grubhub. It clearly states it come in a bread bowl . I called to complain and Chris hung up on me. Called back and he said they have never had bread bowls. He told me I must have called the wrong restaurant. I checked again verifying I was calling the right restaurant. I was. Called back and he didn’t answer the phone. In addition the dip was terrible. Had to throw it out. Huge waste of $20.00,

Excellent Irish food! I had the corned beef & cabbage with steamed potatoes & carrots. Cooked to perfection! The generous portions fed me for 2 meals.

Our server was a very nice man. He entertained my 3 year old when he came to our table. The food was delicious with a large variety to choose from. We don't eat out often as a family because of inflation, but we all left very satisfied

Food was amazing, as usual; and entertainment was hilarious. Shamrock never fails to disappoint. Comedy is comedy and if you don't have thick skin for it, don't go. Avoid the trauma and heartburn!

Dropped into the Shamrock for a night of dueling pianos! The place was packed and full of smiles. Naturally I had to try the corned beef tacos and was definitely satisfied with my choice.

Fish and chips around $22 but boy were they good

It's great bar food and decent drinks. The only real complaints I have is about the bathrooms. The staff does their best but some customers are just vapid and thrash the bathroom. Otherwise the people are wonderful and the management does a great job with booking entertainment. Love going when I can.

I truly enjoy coming to this place. The people who work here are amazing and always provide fantastic customer service. The fries are definitely a favorite and so are the wings. They always have something fun going on. I always enjoy the dueling pianos! If you're in the area and looking for something to eat and a drink to go with it I highly recommend this place!!!

Best bar in our area. Hands down. I have never loved a pub more.
