The lady serving us was very kind! I ordered a kiddie purple cow on a cone and was served a massive scoop of ice cream! The cone was even filled to the bottom! Along with the quiet park the benches to sit are in, there is also an outside sink to wash your hands off after! Definitely worth it, as it was one of the best ice cream shop experiences I’ve ever had!

Best place on the Cape! Period. We actually started a game this year where we can’t order the same flapper twice over the summer and everything has been so good. I’ll admit, ginger was weird but banana is very banana. Love it all!

The ice cream is good with lots of flavor choices. There is plenty of outdoor seating with a nice grass area for kids to run around. My only complaint is that they have wooden spoons. Dig that plastic spoon out from your glove compartment and enjoy. 🤣

My family got a gift certificate for Shipwreck. 3 of us went for ice-cream cones. Lots of flavors to choose from. We ordered kiddie cones. They were much bigger than expected. The ice-cream was delicious. The service swift, friendly and knowledgeable. The outside grounds are spacious with picnic tables and interesting sea-faring items on display. A great experience.

Delicious home made ice cream for very reasonable prices, all things considered. Nice shaded tables, close to the canal if you want to take your cone or cup for a boat-watching walk!

Local ice cream shop, we’ve been several times. People are very nice, very good ice cream. I had salted caramel pretzel. They have an outdoor sink which is very convenient when it is hot and the ice cream is melting :-)

This is just an ice cream place. No food is served out front. However they usually have a food truck of some sort on site. As far as the ice cream goes, yum yum yum. They have tons of flavors! My favorite is their Shipwreck Almond! It’s a coconut vanilla ice cream with large chocolate chip chunks with bits of almonds. As far as their service goes, being the busiest time of year in July, there was a huge line, but don’t let that bother you. We probably waited all of 5 minutes! The staff was polite, happy and swift!

This place was recommended to me by a coworker, and it was a great recommendation. The ice cream was delicious. I had chocolate raspberry truffle with a cone. Yummy 😋. The service was awesome. The girls were very friendly and quick. And the atmosphere is perfect. So cozy with all the picnic tables, chairs, and adorable turtle pond. Definitely recommend this spot for your ice cream fix.

It's an ice cream shop with plenty of outdoor seating. Many different flavors to choose from. The staff was patient with our questions. They also have a couple of tortoises and a few turtles on the premises that make it more fun for the kids, not that having ice cream isn't enough for the kids. Overall, it was a very enjoyable time. Warning I didn't see any public restrooms, but they do have an outdoor faucet to wash those sticky fingers.

We came to Shipwreck around 8:30 PM, and they had been closed since 8 PM. I immediately realized this, but the gentleman opened the window and welcomed us, letting us know he would be happy to serve us anyway! I apologized and insisted that he did not have to do this, but he was so gracious, and my kids were so happy to get ice cream! Not to mention, there are so many options for flavors, orders, and sizes! I love that my little ones can get the mini size and we aren’t wasting a ton of money or ice cream. We will make our first stop in Sandwich from now on to support such a great business! Thank you!

Ice cream was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are similar to other stands. I got a pistachio Ice cream. It was delicious. One suggestion I have is to make a white pistachio, who needs that food color...

Excellent ice cream and service

In addition to their many ice creams, they now offer their own made ice cream cakes. We’ve had their classic chocolate, vanilla & cookie crumble ice cream cake which is just like you remember as a child. And we had a specialty salted caramel brownie ice cream cake which was rich and decadent. The brownie layer is thick and dense and not too sweet which was a nice counterpoint to the ice cream layer. You can custom order ice cream cakes with a variety of ice creams and layers. Super nice people and great location! I also love that they use environmentally-friendly, biodegradable utensils and products.

Great visit tonight! Super quiet which was a benefit for me tonight, but this is not the case when in season. Always busy. Lots of ice cream flavors to pick from. Worth the visit and the wait on a busy day.

This was a great spot for ice cream as we visited the area while on vacation. Chocolate madness was out of this world. The service was excellent and they were polite and friendly. Highly recommend.

Went on a whim and very glad I did, even though it’s tucked away and we are in the off-season they still had a long line but I’m not surprised - they have a ton of creative ice cream flavors, a beautiful shady seating area (with turtles), and most notably an awesome team working there. Looking forward to coming back and will definitely be bringing friends and family with me next time

Fun spot to get ice cream when visiting the canal bike path. They have a lot of flavors and the staff is friendly. The turtle pond is cool to check out too. I highly recommend.
