I have been ordering from here for almost 2 years. They are extremely friendly and the food is worth every penny. My favorite sandwich shop

I was sick with the flu at home and my sister said you should try Subologist’s Chicken soup, it’s the best. I called Taty and it was Delrey eres within the hour. Piping hot! Home made with bits of onion, carrots and rice. So comforting. I will definitely be using her services more often. Currently, booking my Christmas Eve catering with her 😆😆😆😆😆😆

Love this place! My office has been ordering from them for years for breakfast and lunch. Tatiana and the whole crew are the nicest and the food is always great.

Since my first review I have come to love this place and I have received the best service and I am now a regular. I think the progression of my review from 1-5 star should really stand out to those who are reading this. The owners name it Tatiana and she is here everyday and employs a few locals to help her out. The food here is great and I much rather be giving my money to this small family ran business

Ordered a Giant Cuban by phone when I was 10 minutes away...drove up and picked it up ready, hot and it was a TON of food... didnt skimp at all... cut in half, wrapped well and ready... Good prices... overall... it was great... everyone has a different twist on the Cuban..but it was great...

All in the details. Ive driven by this place for a long time. Today I was amazed. The attention to detail is where this place shines. All cut to order , nothing sitting out , great customer service. The size of the meat in the subs will get your excited. Welcoming space and these folks know subs. I have to try others to seem what I really like. The Italian is my go to at the moment. Call ahead if your in a rush. Worth the wait.

Fabulous Deli meats! My turkey sub was freshly sliced while I waited. It was delicious. Also a very friendly neighborhood place.

My buddy Jon introduced me to this place a few years ago and took me out to lunch. To me it was a little gem in the neighborhood and served the best Subs in Hollywood next to Sub Center down the street. But Sub-ologist have the key to a great, fresh, Italian Sub. Today a new Guy by the name of Gary took my order and finally put the finesse on one of the best Subs I have ever had since I was a kid. This sandwich was made with pure love. The freshness of ingredients was incredible and he made it how I remembered them. Must be a New York thing cause I remember Italian places always serving the best subs. I highly recommend it. Just look at the photo at this masterpiece!

I was walking around downtown Hollywood when it became lunch time. I had a craving for a fresh Italian sun and according to an internet search, the Sub-Ologist was only .1 miles away across the tracks. Located in a small pink building they were taking orders at the door. In addition to the Italian sub I ordered they also offer breakfast, assorted cold subs, hot subs, salads, salad platters, sides, soups, beverages, and desserts. I was super hot outside so I was kindly allowed to wait inside. The owners kids were out for school and they were hanging out inside without their masks which is why they are limiting who comes inside. I used to bring my daughter to work when she was out of school so I completely understand what is like trying to run a small business while having to take care of your kids I also work all day with kids who can't or won't wear a mask so it didn't bother me. I was the only one inside so it was no problem to social distance. It is best to just plan on phoning in an order for takeout. They also offer delivery and catering. There are some seats inside so you can dine in under normal conditions. A few minutes after ordering, my sandwich and Snapple iced tea was brought over by Tatianna. She told me she took the liberty of including a brownie. Well keep on liberating me Tatianna! My fresh and delicious sub was so large that I ended up making someone else's day by sharing the other half with them. I love supporting family run. small businesses like this one. First time customer, italian sub, safely prepared and delivered. The 12" sub is more than enough for two. The sub bun had a wonderful crust, loads of meat and everything was fresh. I will be back!

First of all, this place has the BEST customer service ever!!! Staff is very friendly and kind. Food order was made perfectly. The grilled Italian sub was tasty and the potato sald was delicious. The lady who took our order brought us a spicy red pepper spread and it paired deliciously with the sub and potato salad. The eating area is clean. Overall excellent sub shop!!!

I've been ordering take out from here for well over 10 years as my office is down the street. I've also eating in the dining room at the subologist. The grilled patty melt is excellent they have some good soups. Of course, a lot of people order breakfast and breakfast sandwiches here bacon sausage on Cuban or other bread. All their breakfast stuff is good. The only thing I really can't recommend here is their hamburger, as it's not very seasoned. Kind of like the hamburgers my mom used to make for dinner in the frying pan when we were growing up, which were okay but not really that great. Other than that it's a good place to grab a bite friendly people same owner for many years.

This is what a real sub shop looks like. Subs are all carefully made and stuffed to the gills with meat. Places like this are hard to come by especially if you live in Miami. Do yourself if and make a trip up to this place if you are a sub enthusiast.

I had the 8" Ham and Swiss sub on delicious white Hoagie roll. I must say it was perfectly DELICIOUS and a generous amount of Ham. The staff is very courteous and the place is nice and clean.

I work in the building next to this sub shop and when I say I am there almost everyday is not an exaggeration. There is not one thing I have had that I could complain about. All their food is delicious and their staff is super friendly. They have different specials everyday for a great deal! Definitely worth a try.

For breakfast or lunch- food is always fresh, "like Mama's home cooking...". Staff is very friendly. We had the breakfast wrap- delish! We have had the Cuban sandwich, brisket, tuna melt and soups- all great! Try the baked goods - brownies and pie-made fresh by Barb. Yum!

Moved from up Massachusetts and couldn't find a cheeseburger sub down here anywhere. Finally found it right around the corner from me and it's amazing! My only complaint is that they're not open later because I'd be doing dinner here on the regular.

Great fresh ingredients and bread.

First off this place is super close to me and is a great little place with fresh fast subs. The Italian I had was bangin' and the had it to me within 4 minutes. They have Birch Beer on tap which you really don't just find around here. They have free delivery and serve breakfast until 1pm on Saturdays. Glad I went and will certainly be back.

Two blocks West of the Hollywood Boulevard downtown strip, Sub-Ologist makes huge, top quality sub sandwiches at reasonable prices. When I was a child, my dad used to dock our small outboard sport boat in Sheepshead Bay and we would climb up to the street and walk a block or two to a terrific Italian grocer that made the best "hero" sandwiches (subs). Italian salami, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, olive oil and vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano and crisp Italian bread. With the exception of the crisp bread, Sub-Ologist got it all right. I got the medium and I was hungry. I finished it all and should receive a medal for the accomplishment. They have a great self-serve soda machine with some surprising choices. The best of these was BIRCH BEER ! What a treat. It was old-fashioned delicious Birch Beer similar to the stuff from the fifties and sixties. Nice people here and they have been around for more than twenty years. Go soon.

I went to The Sub-Ologist for lunch today and had a great sandwich. I've been there several times. The sandwiches are always thick and tasty. I have never been disappointed. The price is right. It's a busy spot, if you try it once you're sure to go back. They even serve breakfast. It's a small place, so if you're not careful you will pass right by it. I was introduced to the spot by a co-worker of mine. The Sub-Ologist is locationed on Hollywood Blvd., before you cross the railroad tracks on the north side of the street, heading east. Try it you will definately like it. A great sandwich, at a great price.
