Ate there a few months ago and it was very good, today it was horrible, really greasy burnt crust pizza and the milk shake was really thin made with strawberry syrup. Place out back by the ponds was a mess and unkept. Threw most of the pizza in the garbage. Never again

Wry nice family owned and operated businesses. One side is a restaurant and the other is a thrift/antique shop with nice purses and clothes.

Super cute diner with affordable American fare. Clean bathroom and nice little store attached. Easy access from the Mountain Parkway!

Hidden gem alert!!! Only a short drive from Lexington thru some of the prettiest parts of Kentucky. Heard the chicken wings amazing…I had the burger, flipping fantastic and the fries, the best I’ve ever had….ever!!! Nothing frozen here except the milk shakes. This place is brilliant, thrift store 🙂 in the front and restaurant in the back so yeah….hidden!! The patio was a treat with a great view of the mountains and a lake, there was even a spot for live music. I’ll definitely make the drive.

In town for a weekend getaway celebrating our 34th anniversary and found this gem! Located in a little country store but don’t let that fool you, it is was great! Burgers and ribbon fries were freshly made and the peanut butter chocolate milkshake was spot on. Definitely worth the time to seek this place out. Service was great and staff extremely friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!!!

Stopped in on a whim, and the food was fantastic!

What a gem! We're so happy we found this place! The food was absolutely top-notch. We didn't expect much but were completely impressed! The burger was absolutely amazing - you can tell it's fresh, not frozen beef. The fries were great and the little potato kegs - ugh - I almost wish I didn't have them because now I want them all the time but they're a ten hour drive away from us! My wife had such a great time with the quarter pusher - I think she put $60 in there! She eventually won the key to the treasure box which made her day. Overall we had a great experience and will absolutely come back when we're in the area again. My only tip to the owner is that you need better signage. We almost gave up looking for you!

My brother, a family friend and I are from Louisville. We were at cliffview Resort for a wedding this weekend. We decided to grab some lunch and searched for mom and pop type restaurants, not mention a farm to table type. This place checked off every single box and then some. I had the Wolfe burger and fries, fresh made unsweet tea and a medium homemade banana milkshake. Absolutely amazing and the waitress could've not been anymore sweeter. If I come back up to the gorge for any reason, definitely coming back here.

Atmosphere and service is remarkable, but the food being delicious makes the slightly more expensive pricetag worth every penny

Amazing food and wonderful service!

1 thing I loved the most besides the food was the thrift shop you get to look at before going to the dining area. Wait was a bit long because they were really busy but once the food came, it was absolutely worth it! The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla was super good! Staff was extremely kind and friendly though. Would highly recommend you stop by on your way to red river gorge!

The food was good. Had to wait a long time for our food because there was a party of 15 that all ordered milkshakes. We think each milkshake takes 3-5 minutes to make. It is a family business. Very friendly.

Spaghetti Sauce thick and wonderful. Spoke to owner and daughter and that itself helped our decision to move here. So glad you all left Massachusetts for here. Happy fishing—hope you will add your fresh fish to the menu! Will see you in September!

Best milk shakes I've ever had in my life

excellent service! the server we had was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and considerate. upon arrival, we were quite confused by the parking area and the location, and even walking in, there were no staff at the entrance so we were a bit unsure of what to do. we read a sign that said to take a seat and were waited on soon enough! the inside seating area, which to my understanding is new, was not super amazing, but the food was good and the service made it a good outing. we got a chicken bacon ranch wrap, a turkey sub/sandwich, and a strawberry milkshake. the milkshake was great!

What a rare gem of a place. Little rough pulling into the parking lot but that's where any doubts end. Started with fried pickles that were devoured before i got the picture. Rolled right into the main order and had to force ourselves to stop for the picture. The food, the seasoning the portion size, the speed of service and friendly staff are just the normal because perfection is achieved in this place. Ohhh and if you're curious why French fries are an appetizer here, you won't be for long after you try one. The newest standard is set. Nothing but the best. Enjoy. We definitely did. Now bring on the milkshakes.

Found this restraunt while traveling through Kentucky.. The food was great. Everyone with me had ordered something different..all was great. Staff was very friendly...

This place is easy to find with convenient parking. We showed up near closing time and we're welcomed in right away. The menu had so many items on it I asked if they were out of any and was assured that whatever we ordered it would be prepared. Everything went as it would in a larger chain type restaurant as far as drinks then order through dining , but you can tell they get families in there all the time, and are able to take care of the dining area along with the walk-ins. Our server/ waitress was Quick and efficient. She checked on us often. Overall, the food was in good portions, served hot and tasted great! We couldn't leave there without trying some of their frozen treats because you could see they pride themselves on it as there's a completely different menu with a variety of milkshake selections.

Delicious food and very friendly, accommodating staff. We stopped here after a long drive from Nashville on our way to NJ. Arrived just 10 minutes before closing and were the only ones there but they still offered full menu and were very nice. Good Greek salad, chicken parm with tender grilled chicken and the Tater Kegs were yummy!

I've been smitten by the Wicked Wolfe! We were camping in the gorge and found this delightful place. Yes, the sign is handmade, but so is the food 😋 so don't let that scare you away. The service was wonderful, and the prices are very reasonable. There is something for everyone on the menu. If you're in the gorge area, you gotta check out this place!

When we pulled in we were at little iffy about eating here. 12 of us gathered around. We all ate something different. Their burgers, fish sandwich, their pizza. Everything was delicious. Family owned. Staff was very friendly & welcoming. Prices very reasonable. A gem in Wolfe County.

Totally understated! If you are in town try this hole in the wall restaurant and you won't be disappointed!

I stopped by the pay lake and used there facilities and they where clean and well printed.

We were hiking in the area and found this little gem of a restaurant randomly and so happy we did. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the meatball sub and the tater kegs. The service was phenomenal!! Honestly some of the sweetest people I've ever met. I wish I could give more stars on service because this place is something else. I also love that it's family-owned and they make you feel like you're family as well. Next time we're in Kentucky we'll definitely eat here again

This is a great restaurant! We stopped in their first day of indoor seating after renovation. Food was delicious! Very comfortable. They are working on signage, don’t think your lost just keep going to the right when Google says you arrived.

Amy is the kindliest person who took care of us for a lunch on a spring beautiful day here. Our lunch consisted of tater kegs, bacon cheeseburger, fried fish sandwich, and Angry Bird sandwich. All of these were better than they had any right to be. No need to restate here what everyone else has said about the excellent burger. The Angry Bird and fish sammies were the surprise here, with a depth of flavor that was delightful. Daughter adored the fluffy and tasty tater kegs. Well seasoned food all around, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Food was phenomenal. The two that served us were very personable and brought to us in the rain to our car. Only outside dining though so if weather isn't cooperating be prepared to eat inside your car. Everything was so great instead of going back for seconds we went back to give a second tip!

Stopped in here during a trip between cabins, needed a place with outdoor seating due to having a dog with us. I was blown away by the food from here! The owner was very kind and attentive, and the food was seriously wonderful! We had a large group and all tried different things. The steak wrap and the angry bird sandwich were fantastic. I also loved the tater kegs off the appetizer menu. Highly recommend!

Randomly stumbled upon The Wicked Wolfe with some friends. My burger was outstanding: delicious, filling, and visually appealing. It absolutely hit the spot. The four of us only waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. Staff was very friendly and the outdoor atmosphere was comfortable. Prices were on par with the food. I highly recommend it if you want something off the beaten path and not a typical large restaurant chain.

Today I had an order delivered. I had a crispy chicken sandwich and chili cheese fries. I almost broke a tooth when I bit into the chicken sandwich because there was a bone in a piece of the chicken. You would think with the prices they charge for their food that something like that would never happen.

Wife and I ordered the Wolfe Burger and both agreed this was the best burger we’ve had in a long time. Fries were also perfect! Will be coming back the next time we return to this area!

Okay so we almost didn’t eat here because they have only outdoor seating (FOR NOW, they said they’ll have indoor forthcoming), but I’m SO glad we came back to try it! My expectations were low if I’m being honest but The food is FANTASTIC, the owners were so so sweet and it’s a MUST try! We ordered burgers and motz sticks, and then pizza and wraps. We loaded up on the food because this place was on point with the food. If you haven’t been here- you need to!

This restaurant is absolutly fantastic! The staff is super friendly, like we were family. The atmosphere is very relaxing, outside by a lake where you can even fish! We ordered burgers, mozzarella sticks, quesidilla, and onion rings. The food was amazing. The burger had great flavor and was very juicy. The onion rings and mozzarella sticks were very crunchy, hot, and delicious. The breading was on point. Great price point for great good. If you're here hiking or passing though I highly recommend trying the food here. You won't be disappointed.

If you are ever in the Red River Gorge area. You have got to try this place. The food was phenomenal and it is an amazing little family owned restaurant. Do not let the looks deceive you. First time, passing through. Got the cheese sticks. Excellent bread/crust. Finally, a pizza place that makes sure to fully cook the dough, giving a nice burn char to the bottom and edges. Nice surprise.

Great spot with very beautiful outdoors scenery. Had the rodeo burger. Very good and the fries with it were crisp and tasty. Also had an order of tater kegs. Those were fantastic and glad to see they have them. Staff was very friendly. Wish I would have taken pictures and will next time! Highly recommend!

Me and my husband came to The Wicked Wolfe for the first day of our honeymoon. We drove up here not expecting what to find, but the lovely woman who took our order was so kind and so loving. After choosing what to get, we got fried pickles, steak and cheese sandwich, and the cheddar burger with a side of fries. The seasoning on the burger was exquisite, the fries were well seasoned and perfectly crunchy, the steak and cheese was the best Philly my husband has ever had in 2 years! The fried pickles were the absolute best fried pickles we have ever had! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through the gorge or anywhere near there! Even if you have to drive 30 minutes, TAKE THE DRIVE!!!! You don’t regret it
