This cozy place is amazing. The seasonal fruit sorbet was rich and smooth; I highly recommend it. The waitress and staff were very friendly and genuine. Definitely worth going back to try other dishes. Be aware that the Dutch Baby was served in day time only.

Lovely intimate dinner at Tilikum, not too crowded at 7pm on a Friday and such a warm atmosphere. The French onion soup was the favourite among the ones we tried, which also included corn and mushroom. The mains were a real highlight, and I’ll echo other reviewers that the roast chicken is near perfection, with an amazing sauce, crisp and tender chicken, and perfectly cooked vegetables. Chanterelle pasta was also a delight. We ended on a sweet note with some ice creams - don’t miss the chocolate raspberry sorbet if it’s on the menu.

One of my and my husbands favorite spots in Seattle - haven’t been able to go for several years due to owning and working our own restaurant - I was in Saturday evening by myself at the bar next to the kitchen - all of the staff - front and back of house were super gracious and my meal was extraordinary - you will not be disappointed

The Dutch baby is a perfect breakfast item. It borders both savory and sweet and will leave you satiated without the heaviness of pancakes or traditionally American breakfast foods.

Made reservations for Thursday at 11:30 fit brunch. It’s a busy place, definitely very popular. It feels like a very family-friendly atmosphere and the service was very good. We ordered the ricotta cheese and blueberry Dutch baby, more out of curiosity as you really don’t see that ever on any other menu. It came out practically right out of the oven and tasted amazing. Looking at it, you think it was heavy, but it was actually very light. Our meals were the baked eggs, and the Fry Up. The baked egg dish was amazing, better than Fry Up, which had their homemade baked beans, a sausage patty, and a few strips of bacon. The beans were really good. Overall, a good experience and highly recommended when visiting downtown.

Came in for brunch and we had the sweetest server on the planet. The doughboys (both sweet and savory) were fantastic and the sausage patty was possibly the best I've ever eaten. Biggest surprise of the meal? The smokey homemade ketchup, it was magical. This was a meal I'll be thinking back on for a long time

The hostess was one of the friendliest people ever - a man walked in and asked to use the restroom, and she offered to fill his water bottle while he was in there. And he wasn't buying anything. What?! She restored my faith in humanity. Excellent food (we had one sweet + one savory dutch baby) and great service. Highly recommend. My son and I walked up without reservations and fortunately got seated right away at a cute little window table looking out at the street, but others were put on a pretty long wait list.

I’m writing this at 11:50 AM coming out of a 10:30 AM reservation to celebrate a birthday and new pregnancy. You would have thought we stayed for 3 hours with the service we got. Our waitress checked on us 4x in the first 10 minutes and scolded us on the 4th for not being ready to order food (we already ordered coffee) - I had to check my watch because I couldn’t believe it. After ordering we she didn’t come by once to check on us until the meal was over. Once complete she hassled us to leave and again, I had to check my watch to see if it was as early as it thought it was. On top of it all - it was clear this was a special occasion… multi generational, hugs on arrival, gifts, etc. she was completely disrespectful and ruined a special day. To be forced to pay 20% gratuity for the worst service I’ve received in years is crazy.

The skin of the chicken is crispy and the texture is quite tender. It is delicious with some green beans and potatoes. The French onion soup is also very rich. It is extremely hot when it is served, so be careful because it is too salty for American seasoning. I really like Hera’s Crown, lemon, orange, soda water, mixed with the sweetness of pomegranate, very delicious. The overall environment is warm and the service is very friendly. Next time I want to try brunch during the day.

We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Tilikum Place Cafe! From the owner fitting us in even though there were a lot of reservations that night—to our amazing server that was kind, attentive and had a great personality. She did a great job suggesting the right beer or wine pairing and was our tour guide through the menu that we had some questions about. Now let’s talk about the food! My mother had the roasted chicken with Yukon potatoes and green beans and she thinks it is one of the best meals that she has ever had! The sauce was amazing, the chicken was tender and the skin was crispy…it was cooked to perfection. My husband and my father had the sage butter sauce hand-cut pasta and a cup of the French onion soup I snuck several bites and sips of his cup/plate as both were delicious! We shared strawberry shortcakes for dessert and I think that was my favorite part (as dessert often is!) The shortbread was buttery and delicious and it was a tasty but light dessert and was a perfect way to finish a wonderful meal and experience. I see that they seem to specialize on breakfast and so we hope to swing by before we leave Seattle to enjoy one more meal here. This cafe has great dinner fare as well—not just a breakfast place.

Awesome, friendly, warm, sincere service which is especially lovely when dining alone. Started with the Uptown Manhattan which was an excellent very well balanced cocktail. Been trying to get a spot here for brunch for about a year now, finally managed and it was soo worth it!!! I think these photos speak for themselves! We got 3 meals, 2 deserts, a capachino, and a pot of French press Press for about $90 wich is a very good price for the quality of everything especially considering you can easily blow $50+ at a McDonald's these days. The service, atmosphere, and food was all incredible, the only thing negitave I can say is that the bathroom floors seemed a bit... sticky? And the bathrooms themselves looked a bit dated. But they seriously need th consider being open for brunch through dinner rather than brunch some days, and dinner on others because more people need to experience this place!
