Amazing place with great food and service

If you want to discuss the history of old school dinners with that back in the day feel well Tons takes the cake. My elders from my nanny to ther people over the years I grew up with in this beautiful city of Broussard have been hard working employees making sure that your visit to Tons drive through is not only a tasty treat but also food on the go in a timely manner. Delicious food to yeah sha so rest assured your Acadian culture will be the upmost blend of service at this historic hang out. Thank you tons for being in my life all my life. It’s places like this that define Broussard truly.

Drive through was quick and efficient. Cheeseburger, chili dog and sweet potatoes were delicious!!

Ton’s is the perfect example of a classic local spot that’s been here for years and it’s obvious why they’ve stood the test of time their service, food and reputation are great! It’s a great spot to grab breakfast, their burrito hands down one of the best around. The staff is so polite and courteous makes you wanna come back for more! Thanks Ton’s for always providing. Friendly service, good food, large portions, good prices. Had the chicken fried steak plate: steak and gravy were solid, the mashed potatoes, and sides of corn and green beans were all tasty in good size portions. I preferred the corn over the green beans even though it's usually the other way around for me. Parking was alright, lot is a bit tight with maybe 12 or so spaces.

Workers are always nice and the food is very good.

Breakfast is reasonable and excellent. Wish they were open on Sundays after breakfast because going after church is a family tradition.

Don't get the sale not good all ice berg lettuce and they gave me the wrong one,and reply not true a woman came out and said you could not see it wad the wrong salad before you ate ,and I said I have never been here and was not going to argue with her so left

Very homey environment walking in the door. I ordered a grilled shrimp salad and onion rings. Both were delicious and very fresh.

Been living here for 17 years and this place hands down has THE best burger in all of Lafayette. Their breakfast is awesome as well. Staff is all very friendly, and you can tell they all work great together. Highly recommend them to try!

Friendly, fast, and you get nice size portions for the amount you pay. Can't comment on the atmosphere because I always order for pick up and haven't dined in.

Ton's is an icon in Broussard. Their food is good. Their prices are a little steep for what it is, but that is indicative of many locally owned restaurants in this economy. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is definitely what you would expect in South Louisiana , warm and hospitable.

I enjoyed the food quite a bit and the staff were very kind and helpful. I didn't have a very long wait time either. As a bonus, it seems like everyone in there, customers and staff alike, we're just generally kind people. If you need a quick breakfast and coffee, this is the place to be.

Gumbo was a quick pickup at lunchtime, suggested by drive thru staff when asked for something which would require little to no wait. Delicious!

The burger was pretty good. Our country fried chicken was undercooked and a little pink. That wasn’t the issue, mistakes happen. Value for Dollar it was expensive in my opinion 1 cheeseburger 1 fried chicken sandwich 1 soft drink No sides, fries etc $18Bur even that really wasn’t our issue. Our issue was the service. The people were nice it was about operations We went on a Saturday around 11:30am. We looked over the menu and 80% of what we tried to order they said wasn’t available on Saturdays even though the menu indicated otherwise. Instead of us continuing to try to order things that aren’t available, how about you tell us what is available. Or simply, have a separate Saturday menu. I’m sure “regulars” know what’s available but we aren’t regulars and it was frustrating. That being said the burger I had was a solid burger. Good flavor. Not saying I think it’s the best but definitely hits the spot of you want a burger

The only reason I am giving this particular establishment a 4 instead of 5 is food quality. The food is really good, don't get me wrong, but as a comparison to other plate lunch establishments it could be better. That being said the workers are ALWAYS super nice when I visit for lunch. They have really good country fried steak, pork chops, and their chili dogs are delicious too.

Ok so I would've had five stars but the coleslaw is definitely a no go BUT!! The customer service was amazing, the shrimp was delicious, and the sweet tea is definitely what you expect from the deep south. My Finance has the chicken and rice dressing she said it was delicious. So all around it's fantastic, just not getting coleslaw again lol!

Hands down my favorite burger! Their onion rings are amazing too and their chili dogs are delicious. Also great place for plate lunches.

If you want to taste your mommas home cooking, stop here at Tons. They have all of the favorite foods you grew up eating with your family. I got the Baked chicken plate with fried okra and potato salad and it not only smelled so good but was delicious too. Every mouth- watering bite of the chicken and rice was like tasting my childhood all over again. I highly recommend eating here and bringing your whole family for some true southern home-cooked food.

This is great little restaurant, with plenty of local history. This is kind of like Cajun soul food at this restaurant. We enjoyed everything that we had on this visit, it was absolutely very delicious. Sorry I didn’t take any pictures, I was too busy enjoying my food.

The mega breakfast was very good, just like I cooked it myself, the side of grits wasn't great but it was good for a drive through

Very friendly service, with a classic dinner appeal, it's a bit small for a lunch crowd, BUT they have a drive-thru, so it's ideal for an on the go lunch pickup. Chicken Fried Steak was good!

We ordered a Club Sandwich it was outstanding. They were made the old fashioned way using 3 pieces of toast. It was very tasty with the melted cheese. If you are looking for a great BLT I highly recommend Ton’s!

Had a delicious meal at Ton’s yesterday while experiencing the Cajun Bus Tour outing. The outstanding shrimp stew with rice and the in house potato salad was the best tasting original recipe I’ve tasted in my years on this planet! No kidding!

Third generation owners go out of their way to being delicious food to patrons. Myself, I didnt care for the unusual seasoning. But I an overly critical of ant gumbo!

This is an awesome place! Today was our first time eating the burger we keep hearing about. It was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and you can feel the family atmosphere. Holly the owner is the nicest person and very professional but wants to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy... This is our new FAVORITE RESTURANT...
