Awesome and fresh food, quick and friendly service and relaxing and chill atmosphere. As a visitor, I was recommended to Tony’s as a local favorite and it didn’t disappoint!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. Tony was all smiles, very understanding of my disabled child and made sure everything from appetizer to dessert was perfect. The Al Pastor Burrito was amazing, both smothered in salsa and in Chile (we tried 2 ways), bean enchiladas were good, great salsa (chips had no flavor which emphasized the great salsa). Watched a bird documentary on TV which had my kids thrilled. It is a shame it is a 6 hour drive to eat here, otherwise I would be back next weekend as well.

Tony is a total sweetheart, the food was great and salsa was the bomb!

Always good food . Pricey thou I ordered a cheese burger and a cup of green chili to go .. cost $22.88.. and a 4 dollar tip later = $ 26.88. Jeeze Lou ezze

The service was very good. The food was also good, very standard, not fancy or gimmicky, which I like. Pricing was typical/fair for the area. The dining area needs a deep cleaning. Overall, I would probably go back.

My husband and I had breakfast here and split a giant burrito and a cinnamon roll. So delicious and filling! Tony was a nice friendly face to see in the morning. We saw people ordering burritos to go. This place is awesome!

Stopped in after summiting Mt Shavano. I don't think I've ever had a burrito or chips and salsa hit the spot like Tony's did. Service was kind and friendly and very quick. If I'm ever back in this part of the state I'll be back!

Tony is always SUPER friendly. The food is delicious, and it always comes out super fast. The prices are fair. This is by far my favorite place to stop and eat, every time I pass through Poncha Springs! I especially recommend their enchiladas!

Totally want to come back and try this place! First, that's my name, and the food looks amazing. Also, right across the street from the best sign in colorado "elevation beer co" I read the sign as " elevation beer... colorado" I will be back to stop in and give a proper review of the place.

Tony was super nice to chat with and the breakfast burritos and omelets were fantastic.

If you seek out little hole-in-the-wall places that serve amazing food, Don't. Miss.This. We stopped at the gas station for fuel on a cold day and hustled in to Tony's for some "soup". We left with some of the best green chili either of us have ever tasted. Service was great. We will be back.

I'm not exaggerating when I say the sausage breakfast burrito I got from Tony's is the best burrito I've had in the 3 years I've been in colorado.

Great food! We stopped in on our road trip to have breakfast cuz it was the only place we saw open on google. And I’m glad we did. I got the country breakfast, I’d have to say it was one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve had! My fiancé got a breakfast burrito. It was also very good! Food also came out very fast and was nice and hot! Everything looked clean and the owners were very polite and friendly! They said they’ve been here for 17 years!

Traveling through from Ouray, stopped for gas and took a minute to read reviews which were all positive. The Reviews didn’t lie! Tony was a hopping as every table was full. Still received great service and terrific food. Salsa was the real deal! Won’t be back this way anytime soon but would recommend!

Local spot with no frills next to the Shell in town. Solid, hearty portions at such a great cost and so tasty! The breakfast burritos will leave you filled up for a while. Owner is so friendly and food came lightening fast. 10/10!

Tony is a great host, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. Tacos Al Pastor and Carne Asada were fantastic. Just outside of the town of Salida is great authentic Mexican served with a smile.

Wondered place to stumble upon! We were really happy that the other two places we tried first were closed! Everything was delicious & was served pretty quickly! Tony is one hard working man & you can tell he loves what he's doing.

Almost $15 for a taco plate, no beans or rice and only 1 half full cup of salsa, when I asked for 1 more he demanded more money. Dry meat and not enough salsa does not make for good tacos.

Loved it! Great food and Tony is so friendly. We stopped in while on a motorcycle ride on a chilly summer day. His wife made spectacular chilaquiles. Tony was kind enough to find some hot chocolate to warm my insides. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem!! We stopped here on the way to Crested Butte and had some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. We met Tony and chatted with him while we waited - what a guy! We plan on stopping here for lunch on our way home from Crested Butte. Highly recommended.

Hot fresh coffee, he altered an order to allow my meat-eating partner two tacos while I ate the best bean taco in Colorado! Ok, I am new to CO and this is my first bean taco here but really it was great! He made us sopalillas that filled our bellies so we could get back on the road. If in the area, I say go in and tell Tony hi...he is a really nice guy!

Very glad to find this place for a quick bite. Gentleman was very nice and courteous to us. No waiting only but a few moments for drink orders complimentary chips and our order. We had mushroom and cheeseburgers which were great. This is a no frills restaurant with average pricing and just thankful that it was in the area. They do have indoor seating. Breakfast burritos are served after normal breakfast hours.

Here's a great kitchen find heading to Gunnison or Monarch. Authentic food made by a great cook..Tony's wife. Tacos Pastor (pork) and chicken fajitas had that authentic flavor. Salsa made in house and Tony was very personable and attentive.

I got the quesida baon cheese burger with cheese fries loved it!

Tony's is a quaint little Mexican restaurant that has a huge menu that offers a wide variety of Mexican and American meals. Tony is a gracious host who makes you feel right at home. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.

The best tacos I have ever had. So glad we made a u-turn to grab lunch here.

The food was excellent, very fair price. The wait was a killer. We were traveling and had been detained by 2 crashes and ppl that rode the brake. We will stop again when we come this way again, we just know this is NOT fast food.

I am originally California where this kind of food is held at a high standard. This place from what I understand is a two person team and the food and service is way better than probably all places in California. 10/10 Would make a detour just to have Tony’s and his wife’s food again on my road trips to the east.

Found this great little place on the side of the road and wow !!! Top notch very friendly and welcoming customer service and super fast to boot !! Food was excellent! From the adults to the kids there was very little left on any plates :) Highly recommend !

Awesome food! I am a very talented Chef. I must say that the food here is amazing. I had tacos and my wife had taco salad. The seasoning was perfectly balanced. The corn tortillas were light and crispy. We could not tell that it was someone's food other than mine. Tony serves up the best tex-mex I've had in a long time. Y'all have our business!

Authentic and tasty..Tony explained that he's open from 8am to 4pm...Tuesday thru Sunday. Very good prices and large portions (my burrito was 2 meals).
