We had a great dining experience at Top Class Jamaican! Mia was fantastic! We sat outside but she was very attentive and kept checking on us. Great happy hour, love the half off appetizers. The wings and pineapple ginger chicken skewers were delicious.

This is my second visit to this restaurant in a matter of months and long story short, they need to work on all areas of the business. Nolene was the most outstanding member of staff that I interacted with the other night. The food was straight trash; from the jerk chicken pasta to the jerk pork tacos to the wings. I would explicitly dive into all that transpired, but as a Jamaican I’ll refrain. The owners need to do some serious introspection and train their dog (Barney) to not bark at everyone she sees. It’s just a pity I didn’t get Barney’s actual name. Until they improve, I do not recommend this restaurant. Maybe in the future.

These guys give the worst portions in Orlando. The oxtail was burnt and over cooked. Then they refused to refund me or switch out the order. I’m done.

Food: decently priced with nice presentation. Oxtail meal had nice meat proportion and tad sweet side of seasoning to note if you prefer savory. Dumpling was good. Didn't like the rice and peas. Friend had jerk chicken pasta and said 8/10. Not too greasy or cheesy. Festival was great. Service: Chanelle is sweet, patient, attentive, and efficient. Great addition to the team and welcoming. Atmosphere: great vibe, DJ did a great job. Still able to hear music inside at lower volume. Enjoyable vibe and all staff good engaged customer service.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant and this service and hospitality was beyond terrible. We waited over 20 minutes for our waiter who never greeted us or anything. We tried to get two waiters attention and they ignored our us as well. It was so bad that I had to personally complain to the hostess that our party was ignored. Finally our waitress came and took our order but didn’t even brought out water to start out. Within the 30 minutes after ordering my party and I got frustrated and left. They need to be more welcoming and hospitable for their customers if they want them to continue coming back. Definitely wouldn’t come back again nor recommend to anyone.

Order a large curry goat to go and it was horrible, very salty the meat was mashed out food was just nasty I wasted 20… my first and last time eating there.

I would recommend again and again! Mia was our server as per usual and she was the absolute best! Always on time! The drinks were amazing! The lemon pepper wings were the absolute best and the music was on point completely! @djigg_

I hate to complain but this place is not worth the hype. For one, the service is not good at all. It took them 30 mins to even bring out our drinks & about 50 mins for the food. We never got the napkins we asked for , the rice was hard, and I also asked for extra sauce which was never brought out. The music is the only that thing brings a nice vibe. Besides that it’s hard to say that I’d return. They need more servers because one girl had about 5 tables. It was overall just very unorganized. P.S- they say they add an 18% gratuity for tables of four or more and in fact add it anyway …. That’s not cool.

Food is good. Waited over an hour for our food. Brought out the sides almost an hour before the main course. Needless to say they were cold.

The food literally has no taste. The oxtails were falling off the bone but literally no taste to it , cabbage no taste like if my eyes were closed and I was eating i literally would not know I’m eating oxtails . It’s an easy no for me I would not order from here again.

As this was our first time eating here seen it advertised on instagram so we decided to give it a try. 1) was seated at a table that I could barely move due to me being 7 months pregnant 2) the waitress communication was very difficult to understand 3) His food came out first was lukewarm and 25/30 minutes later 4) than my drink came out which by the way was only pineapple juice but took forever 5) then the appetizer finally came out after his food, 3 jerk chicken tacos and then my drink 6) finally my food came which was also lukewarm …. The food taste good I actually thought I found a nice spot, drinks hookah that we did not try but it is offered, music on point , only thing customer service a 2 so I doubt I’ll be coming all the way this way again bc it was a 35 minute drive for us . Was also told the manager would come to speak to me however at this moment I just want my check and ready to GO

The service is entirely too slow. One hour+ for TWO chicken skewers is crazy. Of all the dishes I tried The oxtail bao buns are the best to me. I asked for my hookah coals to be changed and they took the coals and the gentleman didnt end up bringing new ones- I ended up having to get up and go find the person to request new ones and even then they still never brought it. The only person that was extremely attentive was Mia. She had several tables inside and outside and was not responsible for hookah coals but still went and got them for me when I expressed I still hadn't gotten new ones. If you go, be sure to ask for her. Two different parties at tables next to me expressed their disappointment with the service as well. The owner came around and apologized but made no attempt at any offer to make amends for the experience. The DJ on Friday night is great and the happy hour is decent but man the service itself needs major work, way too slow! Times are too hard for people to be spending their hard earned money only to receive lackluster service. Highly disappointed

Popped in for lunch. They have drive through real food! Sat in. Food was boxed, get it yourself, bring to table. Service lacking. Food reasonably quick, reasonably priced, pretty good.

Waited more than an hour and a half for stem fish and curry chicken... ⏰ What a waste of time !!!😞 The rice was depressingly over cooked. The curry chicken was dry as a desert without a drop of gravy or proper seasoning. We were very disappointed with the service and the food. 😡 They need to hire more experienced staff members who are highly skilled in preparing amazing food all the time and have good customer service skills. Please take into consideration the time from ordering to pick up. We've gotten better food and service from the previous restaurant Taste of Jamaica and other local Jamaican restaurants. Top Class left a bad taste in my mouth. No more of my 💰 or time! 😔 Will not be returning.

I put my order in for a medium curry chicken and rice and peas.2 side orders. It is now an hour later I am still sitting T the bar with another woo. Who is also waiting . I loved this restaurant when it was called taste of Jamaica. It was a different caliber in the ownership pride etc . If the food is good or not is irrelevant at this point because I will not be back. I will be going to Negril.

Service was slow. Food was subpar. Rice & peas didn't hv any flavor. I couldn't taste the coconut, scallion or scotch bonnet. Chicken wasn't as tender as it should have been. Skin was tough. Cabbage was ok. It wasn't worth $15.

I visited this Restaurant. Top Class Jamaican Bar and Grill, On 05/17/2024. I ordered what they claimed was their Medium Sized Oxtail with Rice and Beans with one side / Plantains. You literally get 6 pieces of Oxtails, Everyone that knows me know that I eat like a Bird. I was able to eat everything in my carry out box. Very small portion for the Big price of $27,00 which did include a 15% tip, because I do believe in tipping our Servers. I will not revisit this establishment and I do not recommend them. I've ordered food like this from several Caribbean restaurants, And never finished it in one serving.

I really didn’t want to do this review, but I used to love this place when they were located in the Rosemont Plaza right at Rosewood way and Orange Blossom, I would eat everything from here then, the oxtails, the breakfast the patty it was chefs kiss 🤌🏾, but the food has since fell off. Only thing I can enjoy from there is a beef patty nowadays. I got more gravey than rice and nothing about the chicken has a smoky jerk flavor or authenticity tastes like it was baked with jerk spices. The ackee and salt fish serving when you buy a large is the same they just give more dumplings etc. which makes no sense more food would mean more ackee I was better off getting a medium. The curry chicken flavor isn’t that good either I got that for my boys and they did not even finish their dinner. I don’t know if they changed chefs but the food quality has gone down! Service is okay and the restaurant looks good inside and out but what’s looks when it lacks the authentic back home flavors I’m looking for!? Edit update: Service has gotten even worse ordered 3 plates 2 fried chicken, one jerk, no gravey on my rice and they gave me the wrong food the attentiveness just isn’t there.

I have been to this restaurant location for more than 20+ years and the previous restaurant owners let it go down to where I could not even get food there any longer as it was in my friend's words "TRASH"... I was driving doing errands yesterday and noticed that "TOP CLASS" had assumed the location of a previous restaurant I mentioned up above and I went in and was greeted right away from a young lady and than she asked me if I had anything I wished to order and I told her in a moment I would let her know as I just had seen the new restaurant sign and wanted to review the menu before I had answered her and after a few moments I did place an order for 3 staples I think every Jamaican Restaurant should always have and that was Chicken Soup, Rice, and Mac N Cheese and all 3 of these were excellent 5 out of 5 stars for all three things, I had ordered plain white rice and I was asked if I wanted gravy on it and I said yes and I asked for the brown stew chicken gravy and it was excellent and the flavor was great and the rice was nice and fluffy as well, my macaroni and cheese was piping hot and it was delicious and my soup was also excellent and had amazing flavor as well and it had spinners which I like quite a lot and a lot of places do not always include them so I was very pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back and I will also be sharing with all of my Caribbean friends that this place exists and it is a new restaurant and new restaurant owner as well and not just another marketing ploy to bring in customers with the same old trash food. I also had spent a few minutes speaking with the owner of the restaurant and that too made an impression on me that they would take out time from their busy schedule to make sure everything was good and if I had any concerns that I should let him know personally, I really liked this. Anyway I give a 5 star review of this restaurant and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitation. Thank you for a great lunch yesterday!!
