From the moment you walk in, you’re treated to gorgeous views of the golf course, setting the stage for an amazing meal. The sushi here is top-notch—every roll is packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients and is beautifully presented. It’s some of the best sushi I’ve had. The service is fantastic—attentive and friendly, making sure everything is just right. One unexpected delight was the bread service, which had a South American flair and was incredibly tasty. We went with a platter that let us try a bunch of different rolls, and each one was delicious. The prices are on the higher side, but given the location near the Fairmont Princess and TPC Stadium, it's totally fair. A heads-up: finding Toro Sushi can be a bit tricky. It’s located at TPC Stadium and is best accessed via the Pima Princess and Hayden light. Once you find it, though, you’re in for a treat! Overall, Toro Sushi is a must-visit for anyone who loves great sushi and stunning views.

I took my wife here for out anniversary and it was a great place. The atmosphere was great, very inviting and mellow. We went at night so there wasnt much of a view outside but I csn only imagine the view in the morning as it is located in the club house of the TPC golf course. The service was outstanding. Food was very delicious. I had the center cut filet mignon, wife had some sort of noodle/ pasta, I will update when I find out, and we shared a bowl of toro fries, all of which was great, highly recommend the fries! We also got a nice desert at the end which the waitress smashed as part of the act when you get that desert. It was a great experience, you can't go wrong here for a date night and I highly recommend it.

I am visiting my daughter from FL and took me to dinner here. Absolutely unforgettable experience. Brent was so pleasant and an absolute joy to have serving us. I would recommend this place and his service anytime. I cannot wait to come back here and visit Brent!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Brent was our server and he truly made our visit unforgettable. His exceptional service, coupled with his knowledge and passion for gin, elevated our entire evening. Been wanting to visit Toro for a while. It did not disappoint! The lobster fried rice and lomo saltado were amazing! Really enjoyed the lomo sauce that came with it. Our server, Madelyn, was truly amazing and ensured we had a great experience.

Delicious birthday dinner. They made my sister feel special. The tomahawk was delicious and the sides too. My favorite was the Mac and cheese. Bartender was able to make me a passion fruit gimlet so yummy. My first time having a bomba it was so good!

It's great food and a fun vibe. I am saddened that many of the dishes get replaced regularly, but the quality of everything is great. WARNING: the prices are out of control. Think $100pp, even with kids and no alcohol!

The food is too spicy for me but is of good quality along with the service. I won't go back because every dish was too spicy but probably great for people who like that.

Came here for my birthday for a late lunch on the patio. It was a nice area overlooking the golf course. The food was okay. The portions were huge. We got the guacamole, spicy tuna roll, loaded fries, and short rib bao. I also did their rum sampler which was good. They brought my daughter a surprise drink in a fun cup, which was super nice. Didn't do anything special for my birthday other than just say happy birthday. The waiter was a good and service was quick. Prices were a little spendy but since the portions were so big, you could easily share.

Our Experience: When we walked in we were definitely not expecting something like this restaurant! We were seated immediately with great service from Michelle (who is a hostess). We were then greeted by Brent, our server, who gave us our menus and helped guide us through the menu. We ordered our appetizers, Calamari and the Empanadas. My kids have never tried Calamari and they were eager to see what it tasted like. When it came out my two oldest kids, 11 and 9, said it was amazing! The Empanadas were spectacular. Our main course consisted of the Cod and lots of sushi rolls! Our favorites were the Spicy Truffle Dynamite roll and the Angry Tuna roll. Both were FANTASTIC! My 5 year old daughter has a particular palate which only enjoys fresh fruit and French fries, thus, Brent was eager to help get her what she wanted and did! The entire experience was so good (especially the service - Brent was attentive, informative, and timely!) that we decided to come back the following day for lunch and it did not disappoint! Brent and Michelle took care of us again during the lunch experience just before our flight home and made us want to come back yet again! On a side note, my oldest son lost one of his AirPods while we were at dinner and the staff went above and beyond to help us locate it the next day - what a great save!!! The entire vacation was awesome (Fairmont Princess was spectacular as well) and we can't wait to come back next year!!!

One if not the best place in town for dinner and or party's. We went for a wedding reception and omg we will be going back. Everyone was on there a game and made us very welcome and appreciated.

Arrived the weekend after the Phoenix Open. Seated outside with heaters and enjoyed the view of the 18th hole with the setup still there. Beautiful evening. Outdoor heaters were well positioned. Service was attentive. Menu items were identified for gluten, dairy, and vegan needs. We tried the menu margarita, paloma spritz, mai tai, and zombie. All were well crafted, although the mai tai and spritz skewed sweet. Peruvian ceviche tasted fresh, although it needed a little acidic kick. Churrasco platter was perfect for two as the sides did not get in the way of the meaty selections. Served with additional spices, there was room to cater to any partners' tastes. We were very impressed tonight with the energy and customer service of our waitress. Background sounds were other loud patrons for a bit on the patio but the atmosphere was largely quiet and chill. Ordering La Bomba for dessert does come with some amount of drama depending on the read of the waiter/waitress of the table. Parking was very easy in the front, very short walk. Bathrooms are accessible. It's a casual date night spot near golfing.

Everyone, if you're not allergic to seafood, please try the bitter crab and lobster roll!! So, freaking, phenomenal!! So amazing!! Everything thing I had was great!!

Great place. Food was excellent and so was the service.

We ate breakfast here while staying at The Fairmont. I wish we had tried it earlier in the week because the food was great. Some of the servings which we saw them bring out to other tables were huge, especially the avocado toast and the French toast. I would highly recommend the egg breakfast options especially the Toro Benedict and the Chilaquiles.

Amazing experience as always. Our server Don is was amazing and knowledgeable. If you have the chance to have him you will have an amazing experience.

Quite a site from our table to see 18 with all of the stadium seating up. Our server Brent was great (he had the same unique last name so we chatted a bit) and the Cubano sandwich never disappoints. 🤙

This little gem has great energy, a creative menu, and nicely portioned dishes. The view of the TPC course is awesome and the restaurant has 180+ degree views of it. The ambiance is nicely dim in the evening and music creates a great vibe without disrupting your tables conversation. It’s a notch below fine dining, with the main dishes ranging between $30 and $70, but they’re plated well and have lovely balance of delicious proteins, flavorful veggies, and creative starches. If you’re hungry, it’s easy to add smaller plates to size things out or dive into the steaks and racks. But if you’re not there to stuff yourself into a food coma, you’ll find the dishes have great portions. My only negative note was a lack of Rye Whisky options, which I fully acknowledge is niche as hell and that’s why it’s 5 stars. I’d definitely come back!

The food was delicious! I got the black cod, and my boyfriend got the salmon! Both were perfectly cooked and presented! We also got the tuna ceviche, which was absolutely delicious, and a very good portion! Ambience was great, and Service was as well! I highly recommend!

The food was some of the best I’ve had in Arizona. Exceptionally high quality and amazing taste. The overall ambiance was perfect for a date night or a family night out. Definitely want to come again, highly recommend!

Tasty menu and even better service! Dani was our server and all her recommendations were SPOT on! We enjoyed the Peruvian ceviche which was authentic and fresh. The crispy prawns were a tangy marinade that was also delicious! This was our anniversary dinner made extra special!!!

We had an amazing Christmas dinner at Toro. Food and service were on par, and our group was very happy with the meal.

Went for lunch. Small servings, but tasty food. Sushi was terrific, but a bit on the spicier side. Same with the fry sauce. Not sure it lived up to expectations (or the price points), but still very solid— with a terrific view of the 18th hole. Would recommend the corn cake dessert!

Had dinner last night at Toro. It was our first time going there. We had the fried calamari for a starter and it was excellent. My partner had the filet mignon with the Chimichurri sauce. The chimi could have used more acid (lemon or vinegar), the filet was great and the potatoes. I had the Lomo saltado. Unfortunately the rice was extremely mushy. Too much water and over cooked. Best lomo saltado I've had in the valley is at El Chullo. As someone who even flew to Perú to learn how to make lomo saltado, I was very dissapointed. It was not good. Only thing good on the lomo was the beef. We also had the Toro French Fries and I think they were the best ones I've had. Excellent fries. Great atmosphere, the waitress was very nice and knowledgeable and service was great. I hope to have a better experience next time.

Sushi was bad sushi, just don’t! Entree wasn’t good, even server is frustrated that entrees aren’t what they once were here. We didn’t finish either meal, food not worthy of it’s cost

Hostess was very friendly and nice. Food was amazing. Service was subpar. We had to ask for silverware when food was already on the table. Our server only came over one time to check on us. We waited forever to flag her down for our check. When she finally came back to deliver the check. No pen. I hate tip culture bc I ALWAYS tip 20%, feel bad if I don’t. And this service really didn’t warrant it.

Amazing food. Started with the grilled octopus appetizer and main course was the scallops and pork belly. The octopus and scallops were some of the best I’ve ever had. The favors of the plates paired great with the main proteins. This place is a must try!

Outstanding gastronomy, with a marvelous view of TPC!

This is not part of The Scottsdske Princess as advertised on their website; it is off property. Brazilian beef was not on the menu (the reason we went), yet it is on opentable’s menu & their website. Food fair, service fair, had to ask for a server to take our order. $85 shared meat platter overcooked, underwhelming, just a few potatoes & only 1 very small side of chimichuri sauce.

Great atmosphere and service with a beautiful night view of the mountains in the distance. Upon ordering I asked the server about the serving size of the Roasted Cauliflower, she said it was pretty large so I was expecting a large head of cauliflower for the price of $26. When the plate arrived, let’s say I was quite disappointed to see a mini cauliflower. Wonderful presentation, prepared well, and quite delicious but more of an appetizer size that should be priced as such.

Everything was outstanding. After a noisy crowded Thanksgiving meal at another high end restaurant Toro was a real joy. We’ll be back. Great food

Something was clearly off with the service…. Perhaps short handed that evening. Started with the hostess… seemingly wasn’t connected with the restaurant. More specifically, she didn’t know which tables were available in an empty restaurant. Forgot menus and dumped us in a corner on the patio. It was almost as if we were in a dead zone between waiting areas. Food was great…:)

Beautiful restaurant and experience. It was our last dinner of our trip. We only had some starters but both were great! And service was excellent. We will be back next time we are in town.

Went here for my first date, The service was amazing, we were taken very well care of. My date had gotten the filet and asked for it medium rare however it came more well done and was pretty dry (6/10) We had also gotten the octopus anticucho as an appetizer (9/10) pretty small portion but very flavorful. I had gotten the miso chipotle black cod and i absolutely loved it (10/10) good size and flavors. We had also tried the broccolini which i enjoyed but my date said it tasted like charcoal (which i liked) (8/10). To end it off we had tried the thai tea tiramisu which was sooooo yummy (9.5/10) and i had gotten 2 of the Hecho en Japan martinis because they were that good (9.5/10).

As always, never disappointed at Toro> Brought visiting guests, and they loved it as well. A-Z well done

First time trying Toro and what a great experience. Our server Don was fantastic. Sat outside right around sunset, very nice evening. The food and drinks were great! Recommend saving room for the La Bamba dessert. We will definitely be back!

Had a nice dinner this past weekend with my wife. Excellent food and service, with a great menu. My wife mentioned that my steak was a bit under, they must have noticed I left the rarest part, and they comped both it and my side. I hadn't complained and it wasn't a deal breaker for me, yet the staff went above and beyond. Needless to say with service and quality like that I almost felt guilty only leaving a 50% tip. Would highly recommend as a result of our overall experience. Very nice people, very well run and very good food. Go enjoy!

OK, here is the deal, I'm very picky, and for me to give 5 stars is very rare. First the stater, Octopus , the taste was amazing not easy to get this right. But the star was the Picanha , spectacular. Usually I don't order meat in restaurants, I'm originally from Brazil and I usually make my meat at home, but , the Picanha deserves 5 🌟. No forgetting the service , perfection. Fantastic.

Located at the Golf Course the cart ride from the lobby of the Fairnont Scottsdale takes a few minutes. Service was fantastic and the miso black cod was cooked perfectly. Had the calamari and ceviche to start. The desserts were like a work of art. Overall a great experience.

Gave it a second try but Toro is a far cry from its prepandemic glory. Last time I was there [used to be one of my favorite spots through 2019] in 2022 I thought I was not going back but decided to give it another run and it failed again: my appetizer was great but a disproportionate ratio of tuna to price; main dish looked great but unbearably salty [left most of it on the plate]. The best part was their courtesy cheese bread and the bill!

We booked a 930 brunch for Tuesday. Arrived on time only to find out they did not open until 11. We are however extremely thankful that the pro shop staff was so gracious and welcoming. They have us some other great brunch options nearby.

We ordered vegetarian food which was amazing and tiramisu desert which was amazing too. I give four stars because my son ordered Mac and cheese off the kids menu, and it was boxed Kraft Mac and cheese. In a fine dining place like this, I would expect some good quality food for the kids as well, my son is picky and was disappointed!

Sergio was a GREAT server. We went for an anniversary dinner. The hostess gave us a hand-written congratulations card while the manager brought us complimentary champagne (and covered our dessert). The food and drinks were fricking DELICIOUS! The views near sunset were amazing and quite a change from the rest if the valley - lush greenery and water. Overall, a great way to spend an evening with my love. (We had just come back from a vacation to celebrate our anniversary, but this was on our actual day.)

I have been coming to Fairmont Princess for about 10 years and I tried Toro about 7 years ago and we loved the food. On my recent visits 2 years ago and this week we tried the food again and we were disappointed on both occasions. The Resturant sits on a beautiful golf course, the Resturant it's self is decent, it can be updated a-bit considering that this is a high end Resturant in a Fairmont hotel. We had a couple of their ceviche and they were pretty good, not my favorite but good. We also order 4 rolls. The angry tuna, Lobster, eel and truffle Roll. The sushi was just average okay and definitely not what you would expect from a Fairmont Resturant. We love Sushi so venture out to find the net best place. I know that this is not a sushi Resturant but they have a sushi bar. We tried other food here on our last visit and the Sea-bass was pretty good. So over all the food is Average or bellow Average. Service for sure was not up to the standard of a Fairmont Resturant. Server was not attentive enough, to the point that our sushi was sent to the wrong table and the server realized it long after the fact and by the time she came to notify us about the mixup it was maybe about 45 minutes after we had placed our order. It took roughly 1 hr to get our food, granted our sushi was comped and that was a nice gesture but not enough "in my opinion" to compensate for the huge mess up, specially since the Resturant was empty. Our kids got the Mac and cheese and chicken strips which were okay and they liked. We had the La bomba which was cool, We didn't like the one of the sauces they put over it. The Ice cream and the sorbet were really nice. Probably the best part of the experience. Here are the ratings in my opinion. After a hot round of golf there is no better place to cool off then Toro. This is the nicest clubhouse restaurant I’ve ever been to. It is on the TPC course, the same course that hosts the Waste Management tournament. The staff was absolutely incredible, from the friendly hostess to our attentive waiter; they were fabulous. To eat I had the carnitas nachos. The slow roasted carnitas were very good and it was a huge quantity. Snacking on carnitas while looking at their beautiful view was a great way to finish off a day of golf!

First time dining here. Did was very good. Our server was great. Would definitely recommend.
