We recently dined at Trigos in cool downtown Panama City, Florida. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and trendy, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a casual meal. We decided to try the goat cheese pizza on sourdough crust and the pepperoni pizza on sourdough crust, and we were blown away by the flavors and quality of the food. The combination of creamy goat cheese on the perfectly cooked sourdough crust was a delightful surprise, and the pepperoni pizza was a classic favorite done exceptionally well. What truly stood out to us was the friendly and welcoming staff at Trigos. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Trigos is a downtown gem and we will definitely be returning to savor more of their delicious pizzas and soak in the cool downtown vibes. If you're looking for a great spot to grab a bite in Panama City, look no further than Trigos! They only have pizza on Friday nights, but on other days, they have delicious sandwiches, salads, and that delicious sourdough bread.

Excellent food! I've always had a good experience here. The sandwiches are amazing, you can tell how fresh the ingredients are. The baklava is great too. A bit pricier but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a nice place to sit down and enjoy a higher quality lunch they're definitely worth a stop.

Amazing service and food. They even asked about my food meeting my vegan needs since I ordered a plant milk in my coffee. Legitimate San Francisco style close to the Marina! I'm a Cali girl and have been to SF Fisherman's Wharf several times.

The food here is ALWAYS good! It's unique and that's one of my favorite things about it. It isn't like every other restaurant. The atmosphere and getting to sit outside on a lovely day and eat is just wonderful.

I cannot believe that I have not rated Trigo yet. We have been coming here you last couple of years and will keep coming here as long as they are here. They have NEVER missed being a great lynxh or Friday only great pizza. Prices are right on to compete with fast food meal prices. But a far better meal. WAY BETTER. Do not miss the opportunity to try them. You will not be disappointed and will surely eat here again & again.

Really wanted to try it, waked in, said “how ya doing” to the lady, and she just turned around and walked away. I promptly left. Don’t need my business.

Were visiting Florida and went down to check out the area. Ate lunch here. The food was awsome and the atmosphere great. Our waitress I can’t think of her name was awsome. Everyone in there was . The girl who waited on us was a blonde curly hair with a great personality. Would highly recommend 😊

Hands down best place to eat in downtown Panama City. I deliver for FedEx and grab food to go often for lunch. Downtown Panama City is my route. I am from NY and the food in the South is sub par. I have been craving fresh authentic good cuisine. This place checks all of the boxes. Friendly staff and amazing food. Stop in! You won’t be disappointed.

Great food. They even cater for any type of event. Service is very cordial. Prices are reasonable. Has been on my preferred list for many years.

Got there later in the day pretty close to closing, so they had run out of the shrimp ceviche that I wanted to try (it must be good then, right?). The 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad combo was perfect. The pizza smelled delicious. I can't wait to go back. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy lunch.

Update March 19, 2024. Trigo's never disappoints! Today was quiche with their tomatoe basil soup! So delicious! Tomato basil soup is awesome! As well as all of the food here, one of our favorite local eateries. Update: August 22, 2023. This is one of our favorite local downtown Panama City restaurants for lunch. Always great! Todays special was a Gyros with choice of soup or salad. Delicious!

Fantastic, lived here for a while now and just wow! Brought friends who are from Chicago say the best they have had also. Hands down best sandwiches in n town. Pizza on Friday night my new fav. Also All these few 1 star reviews sorry you didn’t have your medications that day or you were in a bad mood.

This place is still affordable, their prices didn't go up, and the portions are still the same. This place is clean, the staff is super friendly, and Frankie is one of their best servers. Their new outdoor area is so cute and comfortable. I recommend to people who need an affordable place to eat to go to Trigo. All my family members who came to visit still talk about eating there. Please don't change folks, still want to go out and eat once in a while. Thank you for staying in the community.

This is our favorite place in town. All the staff is great. The owner is super friendly and walks around to talk to everyone when he’s there. The front lady Franki is super helpful and will help you decide what to eat!

The sandwiches were great. A truly unique deli in the heart of historic downtown Panama City. The Italian monster sandwich in particular was really good. Portions were right on for lunch. Just know, sides are not included. The parking can be a challenge because the off street options are not close.

Stopped in today for lunch with my coworkers. It was our first time. Customer service was excellent. It's a small deli and it was busy but the food was so good! I had the San Francisco Giants sandwich and it was delicious, the bread was fresh and tasty AND the potato salad and the baklava were out of this world. The chocolate croissant was also very good. Definitely recommend!!! You won't regret giving Trigo's a try!

I have been a loyal customer in the past for some time now, always anticipating the delicious sandwiches and cozy atmosphere. However, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed and out of place. Previously, the staff were always attentive, engaging, and ready to take my order or ask how I was doing or to welcome me in. Regrettably, during my last visit, the customer service did not meet my expectations. I spoke with a young lady behind the counter who seemed distracted with sweeping, immediately assuming I was there to pick up an Uber order with my family... Her tone conveyed annoyance, giving me the impression that my presence was an inconvenience. When I inquired if they were closing soon (because she was sleeping the floor and no one was placing an order), the response I received was abrupt and unhelpful. This experience left me feeling like I no longer fit in to the culture of this shop and I left with my family to go eat somewhere else. I sincerely hope that this incident was an isolated one. My intention with this review is not to criticize or disparage anyone from eating here but to share my observations and feelings. I hope that this feedback can be helpful in any way possible.

I am so excited I found this place. I stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great! Will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I think they gave me the wrong soup on accident. It definitely wasn't tomato basil. The bread on my sandwich was so crusty that I, my belongings, and the table was covered in crumbs... And it was all only for a tiny boring turkey and avo. It just wasn't great.

One of the most consistent great places for food in Panama City. Wonderful sandwiches and salads. My favorite pizza anywhere! Gilbert and his staff does a great job. I recommend the spinach pizza on Fridays.

I did not enjoy Trigo's, which was really disappointing because I had heard so many good things. At the recommendation of the cashier, I tried the Sausalito Delight. A half sandwich was over $9, was incredibly tiny, and was a boring turkey sandwich with bread crumbs that got absolutely everywhere. I also ordered a cup of "tomato basil" soup that was actually some sort of Indian concoction with curry and tofu in it. Not sure why the cashier didn't mention this. I set the full bowl on the edge of my table and at least three employees noticed but ignored whether I was doing all right. They also do not give you the option to not tip, though all the service they provide is ringing up your order at the counter and dropping it at the table. Pretty cute cafe otherwise. I won't return to this establishment nor recommend it to others.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I could live off of their Gilbert's sandwich, greek pasta salad, and baklava! So yummy and the staff is very polite!

A fabulous spot with dozens of delicious options for every taste and dietary need. The veggie sandwich was amazing, flavorful and fresh, with so much more flavor than I've come to expect from vegetarian fare at most places. The salads offered are equally fresh and satisfying and the soups make a warm and hearty addition to any lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful, and dining on the patio quickly made it a new favorite! And OMG the cookies!!

Had the soup & sandwich combo. It was very fresh & tasty. My only regret was lack of options, becoz they were sold out. Make sure to get there early for choices.

Went there for a lunch today and we have had absolutely wonderful experience! Very friendly, courteous staff, great food, wonderful atmosphere, clean surroundings including bathrooms! A young blond hair lady ( sorry didn’t her her name ) was super sweet and made us feel very special, even though they were busy! We definitely have a new favorite spot in downtown area now 😊💜 10 out 10 for sure!

A truly great, local cafe! We enjoyed lunch outside on a beautiful, sunny day. Nice, direct view of the water. Each had the full sandwich-soup/salad combo (lots of options on all). The shrimp salad sandwich and Gilbert’s special sandwich were very nice and light, and a hearty veggie and mushroom soup was too. Ended with a delicious mocha latte, amazing baklava, and a cookie. The coffee was the best I’ve had in town, thus far! Definitely worth trying Trigo 👍

Do not be discouraged by the construction!!! I have brought 3 different parties to Trigos. Every time people have walked away with a smile. The food is fresh, the menu diverse, the atmosphere quiet and unassuming and the service always on point. Try the desserts!! Indulge. The Baklava does not disappoint and since I have traveled to the Mediterranean, I say it’s authentic and homemade. They add something special that makes you smile. Its delicious. Sit back relax, have a business lunch enjoy Downtown Panama City.

Fresh salads, amazing sandwiches, and excellent service. You can't go wrong with Trigo a must eat in downtown Panama City. Space is limited unless you don't mind dining outside. My favorite sandwich is the Little Italy monster and you can't go wrong with fresh baklava. Try the little Italy monster.

Great little cafe. Always clean, fast and friendly and the food is AMAZING. The staff is very friendly and there is something for everyone. Friday is pizza day and the thin crust, made to order pizza is crazy good.

I'm still rather new in town, and I got a spot at a co-working space (The Hive) right next door to Trigo. I stepped inside to grab some lunch one day and I fell in love. The food is amazing! I need to make my way through all of their sandwiches, but I love the 49er (Reuben) sandwich on sourdough. Their house made salads are incredible too! Caesar pasta salad is a combination I never knew I needed until I saw it on their menu, and it does not disappoint! The staff is super friendly, and very helpful. I don't think I've ever found a better run deli or restaurant in years. They keep me coming back as much as the food does. Trigo is definitely a special place in downtown Panama City, and I highly recommend eating at least one meal there, and I say at least because I know you'll be back, just like me...

This is an excellent little gem in Historic Downtown Panama City! The food is delicious (I had the Mozzarella and Mushroom Pizza, which was excellent), reasonably priced, and the service is top-notch. Definitely somewhere you will want to visit while visiting our beautiful little downtown. 🙂

I love this place. They are perfect for lunch, any they make great pasta salads. I got the pesto pasta salad and half cable car sandwich. Everything was perfect and the food came out quickly. Get there early because they can get busy at lunch.
