This is the first place we stopped when we arrived. The beer was amazing and we love how many events they have. The atmosphere and the staff were great. We will be back!

Outdoor patio is sunny if you like that. Not much shade after work.

Large selection of excellent beer. The linebrook lager, gran paradiso Italian pilsner, cerveza Mexican lager, and willowdale apa were all delicious. I'd come back for sure to drink the same or try new offerings. They are dog friendly on their patio which is uncovered so bring sun screen.

Spent Saturday for lunch and some great 👍 tasting beer here. Great staff knew there stuff. Talking to Mike and found out that they are now producing a dunkle german beer 🍺 which we tried. We will be back for dunkle .Thanks Mike.

Had my wedding at True North recently - the whole process was wonderful! The events coordinator Tim was a complete pro - in the weeks leading up to our event he was there for all of our questions and needs. When it came to the day of, he made sure the event went off seamlessly and our guests had an amazing time. All of the vendors we worked with remarked at how amazing Tim and True North were to work with. Even a few weeks later when we needed his help he went out of his way to assist us on related item to the event. He didn't have to, but he was happy to do it. True North has an ace up their sleeve with Tim. Book your future events at the brewery!

Great brews ! Nice spot, and great playlist! There is a fridge to the left of the bar for take home cans.. Parking was almost full on a sunny Saturday afternoon but they have overflow parking, next right heading north I believe. Signs for this are posted, just follow them if need be.

A very nice brewery with a wide selection of microbrews! We enjoyed a brew on their outdoor patio with our dog.

The beer and variety are seriously tough to beat. True north is one of the best breweries on the north shore… coming from someone who’s been to almost alll of them!

Overall, this place is great! We came during their brewversary and it was an awesome party! Great music, food was delightful and quick from thr food truck! Great selection of beers! But unfortunately, what stuck out in my mind was that right before leaving we wanted to buy a shirt. Their was only 1 couple in front of us in line so we figured it wasn't too bad of a wait so we'd get a shirt. However, the girl spent 15 minutes talking to her friends in front of us and then when we came up to the register finally for our turn, she looked at her phone and said "well time is up. I'm having a beer" and ran off so fast. My husband and I both were just in disbelief of what happened that it was almost comical. So that service was unfortunate, but the rest of the day was awesome!

If you call yourself a craft brew drinker and haven't found this place yet, I assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised. This was not my target brewery for a Tuesday night, but it was 4 mins from my intended stop, and proved to be more than sufficient for a beer stop. If you are a HAZY IPA guy like me, yeah....stop in. Next to Trillium and Vitamin Sea, choose this as your stopping point over the highly over-rated Tree House......you don't need to thank me, True North over Tree House any decade!

True North is the perfect brewery, especially for those of us who enjoy darker beers all year long. Top-notch neighborhood atmosphere and a friendly staff, with special shout-outs to Zach and Kelsey. Cheers!

Sat at the bar today around 1PM, no one at the bar, 1/4 of the tables were full outside. Took over ten minutes to get served. When we were done no one bothered to acknowledge our glasses were empty or offer to cash us out. When we approached the register the woman gave us attitude telling us we had to wait where we were sitting and someone would come over. Needless to say she figured out how to cash me out before things got ugly. They better figure out how to do things better or they’ll be closing shop like so many others before them.

Enjoyed the car show, bbq and beers today. Great place to chill on a hot summer afternoon.

This place is the chuck-e-cheese of breweries filled with so many children’s birthday parties. Very odd vibe, not really a pub or brewery feel to it.

Is this a brewery, or a daycare? I'm confused. So many little ones running around unattended. Parents, just stay home and drink. You can't have it both ways and expect other people to just deal with your tiny humans. Made me not ever want to come back.

I can not say enough great things about this brewery and their event space. They helped me host my husbands surprise birthday party which mainly consists of all adults with young kids (1-4 years). There was so much room for the kids to run around and they even had games for them. They also have a huge flat screen and put on the Disney channel which was a huge hit! They always have the best beers and nonalcoholic beers. The space is beautiful, open, and very versatile. They had a food truck that day which was a huge hit with all the adults. My friends kept saying how happy they were we showed them this brewery and event space. I can not wait for my next event there. Also the absolute best merch, I never leave without some sort of sweatshirt or hat!

Been coming here for a few months now when I travel to Ipswich. Great beers and a great crowd behind the bar. Live music on Friday night was awesome, as well as the King's X concert we had inside. Food trucks are also a hit too!

Thank you for checking in with me to see what you could do to up my review to a 5. Honestly, I tell everyone you all are THE best place to go in New England for MULTIPLE impressive hazy new england IPAs, our favorites these days. Also incredibly observant and helpful staff - the best we've seen. BUT, and it's a big one, we need food. Yes, you do have wonderful food trucks - and we partake in those when we can, however we seem to be pretty good at pulling in just as they are pulling out. SO, a lack of food earns you a 1 rating. However, scoring holistically, since the beer is, afterall, more important, our overall rating remains a 4. But love love love you all just the same! Just know we would come MUCH more often if we could eat there as well.

I really enjoyed True North Brewing. The building is very modern with plenty of parking. The tasting room has plenty of seating options, bar, tables, high tops. It's family friendly with games and such. The tasting room is large, clean with high ceilings and plenty of light. The beer board is big and easy to read, service is great. My favorite was the Holy Schnitt Helles and the Vincianne Blonde. They have some great sours and IPA's as well. Overall a beautiful building with great beer, worth a stop.

I like your place and the beer well enough, just there are better brews to be had that are 5-star beers, like Trillium and Treehouse which I frequent regularly.

Love this brewery! Though we are partial to the IPAs at our house, we love sampling all the offerings at TNA. The crew here put a great deal of care into their brewing, and in creating an upbeat experience for visitors. Something is always on at TNA, activities, good food truck pairings, and a lot of great community outreach. Nuthin stale at True North!!

Was there this afternoon when they first opened up. Great staff on hand with spot on knowledge of their beers. Picked up two four packs. Season of the Witch and Gordo Golden Ale along with a long sleeve tee in cardinal red. Tastes were great and wish I had the time to hang out. Drove two north for a day on the North Shore and this was a great stop. Thank you.

We love this place, but without great beer it wouldn't be much. Their great selection of beers are awesome both for enjoying there or bring home. We've done both, also at the same time. The beer sampler is fun and a great way to discover your new favorite. They have so many it's hard to pick at times but the friendly staff know their beer and have been able to answer all our questions. Just go already and have a great time!

Tasty beers, good company and a great band playing make for a fantastic experience!

The Gose was terrific but the best was the strawberry rhubarb sour called From The Patch. I brought some cans home to share. Light sour but great flavor from the rhubarb. Try it if they have any left!

Great place! One of the best breweries in Essex County and all of their core beers are really solid. (Personal favorites: Vincianne and Squared.) I like what they've done with their outdoor patio too, to adapt to the times.

I'd give them 10 stars if there was such a thing. Out of all the breweries I've been to true north is the only one to really figure it out during this pandemic!!!!! Staff keeps u super well taken care of nd they are super covid contious. Everything ultra clean all the time!!! They are very attentive to their customers. Thanks for a great afternoon!!! Not only is their beer amazing but they are navigating re-opening beautifully. All you have to do is scan the code on your table and the beer shows up at your table. Fantastic service and a great outdoor space.

Been coming almost weekly since they opened. There's a wide variety of beers with new ones added regularly. BYOF is a great idea for a tap room and provides flexibility for what kind of experience you are after. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the beers they offer and do a great job with recommendations (they'll offer you tastes of whichever ones you would like). Outdoor seating is ideal on a nice summer evening. My favorite place around to get a growler filled!

Excellent beer, variety for a couple of flights, good as any brewery/brewpub in the area. BYOF allows more $$ for the expensive brew, making it worth the trek to this out of the way place. A must-visit for fellow beer geeks.

I'm a huge fan. The beer is great and there's always something new to try. The staff are super friendly and helpful with selection. They have great food trucks a lot. The tasting room is very nice. Fun place to hang out with the family or meet friends.

I really like True North. The people that work there are very nice and pleasant. They make you feel welcome. The beer is so good. I feel comfortable going there by myself for one beer. It's a relaxed atmosphere. Not like a pick up joint like most bars.

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The whole place in spotlessly clean and spacious. Oh, and the beer is some of the best I have had in a long, long time. Every one I sampled was fantastic. You can bring your own meals with you if you want, and the place is kid friendly too. Absolutely check this place out!
