Great meal, Great service and Great prices. This is our new favorite 👍

20 out of 10 the edamame was fresh the deals were superb and the al le cart options for the sushi were awesome. They had everything you could think of for a asian restaurant. Not to mention legit asian drinks you will NOT BE ABLE TO DRIVE if you have one. They have fish on there bar overall best place i been to in a long time.

Went here last night and the atmosphere was great! Aster was extremely kind and attentive, was very professional, and never forget anything I had in my complicated requests! Will be back here agaib

Everything was delicious! The sushi was very fresh and got my food very quickly, the service was excellent. I will definitely be going back. There lunch prices are very reasonable. 10/10

After a hot day at the farmers market, it was nice to sit inside and to look out at the park. Our server was extremely helpful, and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was delicious, and looked amazing. The portions were generous, and as I said, had a great presentation. I was also pleased that we could order from the lunch menu even on Saturday. Could be my new favorite place to stop on the Park.

Chelsea and Aster were wonderful! They were very attentive and prompt. We had the Godzilla and the Beauty and the Beast roll. Their Krab Rangoon is fabulous as well. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Delicious sushi and hibachi restaurant! Both my partner and I absolutely loved everything we got. Very refreshing, we haven't had good sushi like that in a while. We had the barracuda roll, paradise roll and tofu hibachi. My favorite would definitely say was the barracuda roll, but the fried rice/tofu hibachi was super yummy as well! Highly recommend. Super fun as well since we ate at an aquarium bar, so we had some shrimp and fish friends eating with us 😊🦐🐠

It was okay, wasn't really anything special. The did have a good flavor but after we had some stomach issues.

If I could give more stars, I would… everything about my experience was good. Was seated promptly, was attended to quickly for the drinks order… food came quickly and presented well - even though they were busy, the staff made sure I was recognized and served. Downtown parking was no problem and was close to the restaurant. A very nice dinning experience it was, I highly recommend.

Best hibachi I’ve had in Florida. We intended to go to another restaurant in downtown Lakeland, but the smell drew us in (from a parking lot one block over). The food was excellent and the wait staff attentive. We will be back often.

My son and i went in for lunch. The food was great and fresh . The Only thing I would really like to change is a little better lighting. Staff and the new manager are friendly. They did run out of lemonade but change it quickly to something else.

I stopped in after a ridiculous day at work and was pleasantly surprised. My server Chelsea made me feel completely at home. Her winning personality and amazing on point hospitality was just what I needed after a long day of treating patients. Rania took care of the couple sitting beside me, and I was impressed. If you are looking to unwind with an awesome staff...this is your spot!

Delicious my husband's favorite place. I had the hibachi but my husband got so much sushi that they put it on a boat. Lol not going to lie it was expensive. Cause he picked al a cart. It was delicious. Great service

Excellent good service good sushi

This has been my go to place forever, but this was really disappointing. I ordered spicy tuna rolls that BARELY had any fish in them and were close to $10 each. Seriously, some pieces had a sliver of fish, 1/2 cucumber, and 1/2 rice. Table and chairs were dirty, which was also disappointing. Service was incredible as always, and drinks were out of control good.

I’ve been to the winter have Tsunami Sushi a ton of times it’s one of of favorite ones to go to. We decided to try the Lakeland one and it was just as good! Top notch Sushi with great service! We will be back!

Dinner was fine. The hibachi is prepare it behind the counter so that you can watch, which was cool. The Chefs are super nice. I went on 1st Friday event and 30 -40 (?) came in right behind us, I think they were coaches and team members the restaurant did a great job with their unexpected additional guests on top of regular traffic.

Night out to myself, forgetting it was First Friday. Asked for a bar spot for 1, lady behind the counter was able to squeeze me in a spot. Come to find out it was the owner, thank you! My servers Astro? I didn't quite catch his name but he was helping Selena behind the bar. They were incredibly sweet and very tentative even tho it was extremely busy. Astro recommended the pineapple sake, which I ended up having 2 glasses. Excellent. Selena recommendes the caterpillar, and omg I may have found a new favorite. Satisfying. Hope I'm able to sit with them again.

Food was great. Bar runner brought us drinks and we ordered an app. Server was busy enough to not acknowledge our existence. Customers coming in after us were noticed right away. Too bad cuz we are great tippers. Busy understood acknowledging our existence goes along way with us. Young man running for her was excellent

Hibachi flavor was ok. The plates are too big for the size of te tables which made it uncomfortable to eat. There was not space for the drinks or share a plate. Sushi was good. I would not go back.

Everything was great! From the great service we received at the door to the service with the food…. I thought I’ve had real hibachi food but I think this place made me realize I wasn’t eating real hibachi food😭. THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL.

I visited this restaurant with my son and husband yesterday and we had the best experience. Our server (terrible at names, but think it started with a C) was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive, great personality, and quick with service. The environment was welcoming and food was excellent!! We’ll be back!!

ame here randomly after being in the area. The sushi was tasty and the service was great, albeit there was not a lot of people dining at 3pm. The Kiss Me app was the BEST thing I had here, so I would highly recommend it if you like sashimi. It had a strong ginger flavor but wasn't overwhelming. I loved the aquarium bar they had, the place was really cool on the inside. The main problem was that the sushi rolls were $10-15. The food was amazing, the staff was very kind and welcoming, and the prices are good. It's very nice and inviting inside and clean and the fish tank is really cool. Totally worth checking this place out! I will definitely be back.

Tsunami Sushi offers great tradition . and innovative rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and tempura. Most importantly the service is outstanding. Chelsea knew her stuff, made great recommendations, and her positive attitude made me feel more than welcome. Rania and Liza are equally passionate about taking care of their customers, making the whole experience awesome. The sushi chefs know what they are doing, offering fresh, healthy, and hearty portions at a reasonable price. With so many restaurants struggling to find good, employees, this restaurant has found the right combo of great people.

Best sushi spot in all of Lakeland. If you don’t eat here, you miss out every time. The service is bomb. The manager, Jen, is so courteous and is always willing to go the extra mile.

Very welcoming . Seated promptly. Server was very nice and efficient. They have a Happy hour menu. We tried the Catapiller Roll very good. Along with Crab Rangoo.The regular menu has many sushi rolls to choose from. We also got the chicken hibachi. Came with ginger salad, rice, noodles, chicken and veggies. All delicious. Two of us shared. We still had enough for another small plate! No skimping here. Open kitchen so you can watch them cook. Sushi bar. Nice establishment. However, it is a little dark in there. Everything is black. Definitely will return. Quality food.😋 Prices within range of other like establishments. 👍

What a vibe! If you love sushi, hibachi, and great service, please try Tsunami! The service was attentive, and the lunch specials were amazing. Definitely the best sushi that we have had in Polk County, and a modern Asian vibe. Also, the plates are so pretty!

Love this place so much! Thanks largely to our server and bartender, Chelsea, this place is a standout in Lakeland. The menu, atmosphere, and service have been outstanding each time we visit. Try the appetizer sampler, the amazing vegetarian and vegan versions of your favorite traditional dishes, or the tender/juicy steak teriyaki that is made-to-order, or the pork belly ramen, or the best-priced, quality hibachi in town. Thanks to the excellent hospitality of Chelsea, we have recommended this restaurant to family and friends and we keep coming back when we can’t decide where else to eat. She is so pleasant and personable, yet professional and knows the menu. She knows what she’s selling and we never regret the new things we try, like the specialty cocktails or green tea tiramisu! She never forgets about you, even if she’s running the bar, other tables, and making sure every customer gets helped when they walk in. She is a truly wonderful presence in the business, that is rare to find right now. I truly hope management knows how valuable this type of employee is, so they can continue to shine above any competition, of any cuisine and I hope the new hires they’re looking for are more like her and make people feel warm, welcome, well-fed, and well-taken care of, overall. I also want to give props to the aesthetic of this place, because the low, warm lighting, soft music and LIVE AQUARIUM BARTOP, create a great vibe. We prefer this to the harsh fluorescent, overly industrial, hospital-cafeteria-sterility and un-unique atmosphere that is trending right now in the restaurant world. We were really lucky to find this one.

We went with our adult kids and granddaughter for dinner (first time for all). The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. I was very pleased by the experience. It was a hibachi restaurant without the cooking show. I highly recommend!

We have been to a lot of hibachi restaurants all around the state and country. By far, this place has the best rice, noodles, SOUP (tried the Miso and Onion), and atmosphere. It isn't loud but the live music was so nice and pleasant, the date night possibilities here are superb, and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The soda drinks are "Natural" so they don't have high fructose corn syrup but instead natural sugar. I thought I might not like it but in fact I loved it! The Shrimp Shumai appetizer hit the spot and overall I hope this place is around for a long time. We didn't know about it but just stumbled upon it. I hope you give it a try too, you won't be sorry!

Quaint little local family business. Sushi, sashimi and the hibachi grill was excellent. The server was friendly and patient.

I’ll give two stars because the food is decent. But this place is always understaffed and the servers often can’t get the orders correct. Part of the experience you expect when going to a restaurant is also good service. I came there with my father in law, wife, and 2 children. We explicitly mentioned we wanted sushi as an appetizer and the server even repeated it back that way. Eventually we could see the sushi sitting there ready. We joked about going up and getting it ourselves because it had been at least 10 or 15 minutes. A woman other than our server brought out the food along with the sushi. We explained we wanted the sushi as an appetizer and the woman asked “so you don’t want this?”, and after we said again, “we wanted it as an appetizer”, she stormed away with the sushi and aggressively threw it in the bus bin (10 feet away from us) mumbling under her breath. This type of behavior should never be exhibited in front of customers. This is extremely unprofessional and it made the entire situation awkward and uncomfortable for us. I must say she came back later and made an attempt at apologizing, and explained that we should have asked for it that way. The point is we did ask for it that way and the server even acknowledged it when she read the order back to us. Under no circumstances should she come back and do a half apology and then try to guilt trip us that we didn’t ask for it that way. On a different occasion we didn’t get our waters that we ordered till after the meal came out. That’s because we never saw the server the entire time from the time we ordered until the food came out. One other time, we walked in and stood at the front for about 5 - 7 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. They were extremely busy and since we already know they are understaffed, we walked out. I’m not saying don’t go but there are people there who have a short temper and others who won’t own their mistakes. Also be prepared for understaffed, long waits, and sometimes incorrect orders. I personally won’t go back anytime soon because of too many incidents. Maybe I’ll give it another go in about a year. Good luck

This has been a regular reatuarant for special occasions. When the food and service is good then the experience is great. Unfortunately the attentive staff and great tasting food isn’t always a guarantee here. Regardless of my past experiences, It is definitely worth giving this place a try for yourself. They offer affordable and great tasting sushi as well as awesome hibach!
