Very sweet staff. Absolutely incredible cookies and sweets. It’s a must try. My only complaint is the limited days open.

I love this place! The tea cakes and chantilly cheesecake are my favorites.

The only thing I can complain about is that sometimes I'm not fast enough to get what I want before it sells out. His cookies are on another level, and he has single handedly ruined any other cheesecake for me.

first time there been wanting to try the cookies , The worker there african american curly head girl was rude , didn’t even engage In being nice energy was just off. Maybe greet costumers coming in. Idk if she had a bad day but she can’t bring that into work.

In view of the rave comments and the communication with queues and shortages of pastries just after opening which remind me of an Apple Store when the latest iPhone was released, I was curious to test these famous cookies ! About ten minutes of waiting and here I am in the fairly sober store, with a very “healthy” decoration. The atmosphere is quite bohemian and everywhere there are certificates attesting that these are the best cookies in Lake Charles! In order to best compare with the competitors I took 4 chocolate chip cookies. The price is violent. Almost $20 for 4 cookies, no discount depending on the number purchased (unlike crumbl for example). The cookies are put in an ugly plastic box, at $4.5 per cookie we hope at least for nice packaging, even Walmart does better. I followed the instructions to reheat them and there: big disappointment. The (milk) chocolate is tasteless, tasteless, the cookie is just a concentrate of sweet and buttery dough. No finesse, no elegance, no play of textures with a melting center and crunchy edges for example. A big, disgusting cookie dough with no other interest than a spike in blood sugar! In short, much ado about nothing, overrated, too expensive and without any interest. The only success is the ultra effective and well-established communication on the networks, as for the cookies Crumbl is far above, or even just the cookie recipe from chef Philippe Etchebest will give you more pleasure for 1/5 of a price ! Will I come back? Never !

I've been here a few times. I haven't been disappointed yet with the deserts or service. In my opinion, this is the best local restaurant for deserts. Keep it up the great work and baking. Hard work pays off. So, does great tasting food. #ChocolateChip #Brookie #TurtleCheesecake #TurtleCookie

Literally the best cookies in lake Charles and the owner is simply amazing. Me and my husband went in there referred by a friend today and we are sold lifetime customers. If I could rate over a 5 I would.

Yall if you haven't tried anything here I would say start with the BEST cheesecake you will ever eat!! And then go for ANY of the cookies. You will not be disappointed!!

Terrific treats is an understatement, this cheesecake is one of the BEST I’ve ever tried! Creamy, smooth, just the right amount of sweetness and a golden, delicious crust! I’m sad I can’t get this treat more often as I live out of town, but I’m sure my waistline is thankful for that. The owner and his worker are also so courteous and friendly. Please check out this gem, you won’t be disappointed! Also, the chocolate chip cookies are absolutely amazing!

The cheesecake was delicious. It was the first cheesecake I've had that didn't have a brick crust. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing as well. The only thing I'd change would be to make a semi sweet chocolate chip cookie option as I found it a little overly sweet from the milk chocolate (assuming they're milk chocolate chips). It was still good, though.

Visited again because he had my favorite cookie, lemon cookie and OMG . That’s not all tho, the birthday cake cookie is delicious, and the bread pudding was good too. Stars are going up from 2 to 4. Will be back for the ocasional seasonal cookies.

Amazing customer service and the cheesecake and cookies and bread pudding are DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner God Bless his soul because he’s amazing!!!! I went to buy king cake cheesecake and they were sold out so I got bread pudding and left..he came outside to get me and got me a piece that was “messed up” I offered to pay because it was cosmetic and a little piece broken but he gave it for free and that almost made me cry. I was taken aback and hope my thanks conveyed how grateful I was. I know it might not make sense, idk how to explain it, other than it meant a lot.

I just moved to Lake Charles and decided to give this place a try. These were hands down the best cookies I ever had!!! I thought they would be hard due to them being a little cool, but I was very wrong lol. I just got the regular chocolate chip and my daughter got the s'mores cookie and both were nothing short of delicious 😋 Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't regret it!!

So it took me some time to write my review because I didn’t want anything to distract me. So, I went on down to Twanie's Terrific Treats, LLC to check out this cheesecake I’ve been hearing about for WEEKS!!! I’m not even a sweets-eater and if I do have cheesecake I need the strawberries and syrup on top of mine(s)🤷🏽‍♀️. So here is my review: “GIRL!” That is the first thing that came to my mind! It’s good y’all. Oh my God. Eating while it’s chilled feels so refreshing. It’s large enough where you can serve yourself a couple of times. I finished it before going to bed standing in front of my refrigerator with the door still opened (yep kinda a fat girl move…but that’s OK! I don’t usually eat sweet’s remember?) So, Someone in an earlier review said “like ice cream”… my response to that is “yep! Ummm hmmm” and guess what NO TOPPING! I thought I would NEVER eat a cheesecake without topping….. Lesson learned: never say never…. And make sure you order ahead of time if you actually want one otherwise you will be disappointed when you show up looking for to buy it on the same day.

I hopped into Twanie’s and it felt like I struck gold, but sweeter! The treats here don’t just satisfy your sweet tooth, they take it on a date, and maybe even call the next day. The staff are like your friendly neighborhood sugar whisperers, ready to guide you through a candy-coated wonderland. The ambiance? It’s the cherry on top of this delicious cake. This place isn’t a bakery, it’s Lake Charles’ ticket to a whimsical sugar safari. When my sweet tooth beckons, I know Twanie’s will answer the call!

Incredible cookies!! I bought some for my office, but we ate them so quickly I was only able to take a pic of a few left over! The cookies are HUGE. I ate one chocolate chip and it took me 2 days to finish. The inside is lovely and well decorated. The service was very quick and everyone was very nice.

Cookie Crumbl, American Best Cookies, Crave Cookies, and whomever else count your days! The cookies melt in your mouth, and your soul sings high praise! If they start making cakes, some businesses wouldn't sell a crumb to a mouse!

This place has very good desserts! Something to please everyone. I had the Smores and Banana pudding 🍪 cookies ...excellent😋. The place was very clean and had a nice display of cookies (forgot to take pictures). They also have ice cream and milk to satisfy you. Friendly employees and quick service... and I love the prayer card they give with your purchase! 👏🏽

So glad we stopped here. Saw it on tik tok and stopped by while we were killing time for our hotel checkin. We got the s’mores cookie and the brookie. Was fantastic and wish we lived closer so we could have it again. The card with directions on how to warm it was a nice touch. (The gps did have us stop at a house on the side block, but we saw the sign when we turned the street)

Me and wife absolutely love this place. We use to wait in line at the farmers market hoping he wouldn’t sell out before we got there. Now he has his own store and nothing has ever changed. They are just as amazing as ever we always recommend twanies to everyone

This place is a hidden treasure, being off the beaten path slightly. But boy is it worth it. I wanted to wait till I got home to follow their reheating instructions for the chocolate chip, but they called to me from the passenger seat. LAWDHAMMERCY, I almost had to pull over. Once I got home and reheated it, it was doubly as amazing. Overall a good choice in their weekly rotation. I've had several of their options and none have come up short of amazing. We also got some of their bread pudding, I'm not gonna lie...I kinda blacked out for a minute and got some of everything. Popped it in the oven and goodness gracious, it shouldn't be legal to have bread pudding this good. I'm not sure they could miss the mark of they tried.

Absolutely delicious treats and amazing service with a smile!!! I highly recommend trying the brookie and the bread pudding!! And as always, the chocolate chip cookies are divine!!❤❤❤

This place has some awesome sweets! The Brilliant Brookie, Breathtaking Bread Pudding, and Peachy Peach Cobbler was outstanding! I highly recommend this place when you are in Lake Charles!

Oh my Goodness! Where do I start! We were waiting outside when shop opened! Standing in a small line! Owner met us at front door with a hearty greeting n a big Smile. EVERYONE was so helpful n sweet! These cookies are a Treat truly sent from the Gods!!

I accidentally got my husband and friends addicted. Definitely sign up for the rewards program! I haven’t had a cookie I hadn’t liked yet! We did a blind taste test at one of our parties and Twanie’s beat out Crumbl!

I tried two different treats. They were both scrumptious!!! I had the lemon cookie and the brookie. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. I will be back!!

Came all the way from Katy to Twanies & I couldn’t have made a better decision. The cookies were to die for, and Mr. Twanie showed unbelievable customer service. Will absolutely be back for another hot batch!

I couldn't wait to try these cookies since I've been seeing all the positive feedback on Facebook. Well I finally got my hands on some and it's life changing. I had a friend in town she said the same and also said she couldn't believe these came out of lake charles. She's traveled the United States and has tried food and treats everywhere. Definitely the best cookie I've ever had. So soft and fresh!
