Fantastic food, the staff was fun and engaging, the owner came out and spoke with us when time allowed, a very nice and intetesting man. Kristy our waitress was great, and the drinks, oh the drinks, old fashions and expresso martini's were awesome. Highly recommended.

I am a foodie that travels extensively. Also born and raised on beef farm. Best filet ever. Lobster was fine to perfection. Great staff and owner stopped to check in. Great 29th wedding anniversary dinner.

We had the BEST MEAL EVER at Twin Springs Supper Club! Our waitress and hostess were kind, personable, and truly cared about us. They recognized our special occasion throughout the evening, which we appreciated. They were quick to ask about food allergens they needed to be aware of. Our group didn't have any, but we know their are families that need this important detail. Simply, this place cares! We enjoyed tender, perfectly grilled steaks that melted in your mouth and the pasta special with beautiful and succulent shrimp that would make anyone jealous if they hadn't ordered it. Presentation of each course was beautiful. Also worth noting were the dinner rolls, which are absolutely unmatched by any restaurant! And, hello, actually spreadable butter! We each had hand crafted cocktails that were well curated. Then, loved them so much, we ordered more! Our group split the desserts so we could try them all. My personal favorite was the brownie sundae. Everything was made from scratch and it shows! The covered patio had a nice breeze, ambience, and there were no bugs - in July! The owner/chef came to our table to check on us and engaged in great conversation. He was genuine and funny. When we joked that we may need a wheelbarrow to wheel ourselves back to the car, he humorously brought out a wagon!! Our table was in hysterics with laughter. He took a fun picture with us, making this THE BEST EXPERIENCE in addition to the great food! A+++!!! This restaurant is a MUST VISIT on your trip to Decorah!

An absolutely amazing dinning dining experience!! The service was phenomenal! The food was mouthwatering, melt in your mouth, words can not even describe the experience! Even though the restaurant was full, the acoustics were fabulous, you could have a conversation without having to talk over the noise, could barely tell the place was full by the noise level. My only complaint was, why aren't you in Minnesota?? Truely when you eat here, and you should, you will be in a food induced heaven!!

When you have a great dining experience, you want to share it. We are visiting for the weekend and this was our first time here. We couldn’t have been treated better and the food was so good. It was probably the best cut of prime rib that I have ever had. It is refreshing to see how the owners pay close attention to the details, because it definitely shows. It is unfortunate that our new favorite place is over three hours away, but we will definitely be back!

My husband and I were there this past weekend to celebrate our 40th Anniversary! After having a drink at the bar we were seated at the time our reservation was for. The waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We both ordered the special of the evening - Filet Mignon, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. For dessert we shared the brownie which was to die for! As we are from Wisconsin, my husband ordered the Brandy Old Fashion which was the best he has had. The owners stopped by our table several times to check on us and to make sure everything was just right. As we were not from the area, they gave us some ideas of what to visit. We had a very pleasant, enjoyable experience at Twin Spring's - thanks you so much for helping us celebrate our milestone!!

Really just a disappointing evening. We dined at Twin Springs last year for our wedding anniversary and thought we would do the same this year, unfortunately we showed up on a Saturday evening for our 6:45pm reservation with a graduation going on in town. Rather than the intimate booth that we had anticipated we were escorted through the dining room and seated in a room with two tables for two and four tables for eight filled with large groups and all the noise that implies. Our server was prompt and thorough, but the entree arrived cold and obviously the baked potato had its toppings melted with a butane blowtorch, the remnants of which overpowered the flavor of the rest of the potato. I certainly understand when you live in a college town, how a graduation could be become, overwhelming. That said we were obviously a couple out for a quiet dinner expecting an intimate, elevated dining experience. As I said it was unfortunate and disappointing. I doubt we’ll be back.

Overall meal and atmosphere was ok. Mixed results, filet was good, rib eye ok, baked potato was over cooked, shrimp was over cooked, drinks were pricey and small, desserts were excellent.

First time dining there tonight. Everything was delicious. There was an error with my steak, and the staff caught it before I said anything and made it right with me . . . again without any word from me. I appreciate their diligence. Everything was delicious!

This was such a great recommendation! The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was lively. We couldn’t have asked for better service. The owner came by to check on us and was so friendly and thoughtful. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious. Extremely accommodating, my family and I had gone on Friday the 9th, enjoying my fancy birthday dinner. The filet was smooth like butter, mussels were delicious, and the bernaise sauce with blue crab is extremely flavorful. Everyone at the table was extremely happy that the owner came and talked with us, asking how things are and checking in(personally I love when owners and managers are heavily involved in restaurants). I personally enjoyed a couple of modified Bourbon old fashions(splash of ginger ale instead of soda water), my fiancé and grandma enjoyed a glass of Moscato. My grandma enjoyed the salmon saying it was absolutely perfect, and my grandpa had the Iowa style bone in pork chop. It's a testament to the chef/ owner that both the filet and the pork chop can be so tender to cut with just a butter knife.

Fantastic! Will definitely need to go back

To be brutally honest as usual, this is the best filet mignon I have had from a restaurant in northeast Iowa. It was so tender you could almost cut it with a fork. The shrimp where ok slightly over cooked. The garlic mashed potatoes needed more butter, sour cream, and garlic. Would have been nice to have less lumps in the mashed potatoes. The asparagus was cooked perfectly.

Once again food, service, and atmosphere did not disappoint. It was a great way to celebrate and enjoy time with my spouse. He had Cajon chicken and it was very tender. I enjoyed Filet de Mar and it was absolutely delicious. Great flavor. As always we will be back. Thank you to the wonderful staff especially Jilaine and Roumel!!

My boyfriend and I ate here about a month ago and I asked the waitress what she recommended for a beverage and she suggested the lemon drop martini, and it was the best thing I ever had. We both had steaks salad and potato, we have not stopped talking about it since. We will be back very soon.

Has an absolutely amazing meal for our anniversary! We started with the lumpia and it was fantastic! The garlic soy and chili sauces were perfect to dip. The chimichurri ribeye, filet and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The Caesar salads were delicious as was the rolls. The fries were perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and fluffy baked potato consistency inside. We shared a pecan praline bread pudding and it was a perfect end to the meal. Our server Angie was attentive and so nice! Well worth the hour drive.

The steak is grilled to perfection. And the shrimp Alfredo was so delicious! I highly recommend Twin Springs.

Food was great! Both my husband and I had the filet. The lumpia was new to both of us and was delicious. There was a bit of a wait between our salads and entrées. It was a little difficult to hear, felt like I was talking really loud. But was an amazing meal and definitely a treat.

They serve the most awesome food in the area! Great steaks, wonderful staff. The owners come and visit at the tables. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made us feel special. Just all around a great experience!

We had a wonderful time visiting Twin Springs for the first time this week. The food was exceptional! The service was amazing, and the owners were wonderful to meet as well. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and they took the time to have a placard at our table but it was signed by the staff wishing us a happy anniversary. We will make the 90 minute drive to experience this again in the future!

Celebrated our 37th anniversary food and service was spot on , definitely making it a return destination!

This is a gem in the woods and there are lots of views of the surrounding nature and about a 4.5 overall. Menu is essentially classic supper club with a bit of an Asian twist on some items; house-made accompaniments, dressing for the salad and biscuits all very good - a definite step up from most. Service was excellent. We sat out on the porch which was pretty cool. A couple nitpicky things: IMO the wine list could be more diverse, but maybe there is not a market; and our server only listed one craft beer which seemed odd with 2 very good breweries in town. But, I found out later they actually had a couple others; again, maybe the call is not there. Cocktails looked good, though didn't try. The porch was not screened, so basically outdoor dining - there was also a patio, but this was not covered (maybe temporary). That said, this is a very good restaurant and I highly recommend.

A modern style supper club. Staff seemed over worked but they did have two young hostesses that played on the seating ipad.

Service was prompt and more than sufficient. Food was high quality and well done. My ribeye and my wife's fillet were done perfectly. Highly recommend. And we will be back.

If there were more stars to give, I would! Spouse & I were in Decorah and we're recommended to visit. The service was wonderful, the food was one of the best meals we ever had. Chef Romel cam out to chat with not only us, but every table he could. The steak was amazing, and wet recommend the meat stick appetizers (lovely Philipino flavors). Wed go out of our way to come back. Thanks for the hospitality and generosity of your time.

Food and drinks and service very good

Heaven! The food Was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip. My husband had the prime rib and I had the 6oz filet mignon. We ordered a side of steamed asparagus-perfection. We finished with a dessert of cream brûlée. Our waitress was wonderful and knowledgeable of all the dishes. The owner paid a visit to our table, which was a nice touch. We are visiting from Colorado and we are pleased we stopped here for dinner.

Came here tonight for my boyfriends birthday dinner and had amazing service I’ve been here a couple times before and it’s my favorite place to get a steak. Lisa is the most kind attentive server I’ve ever had. I watched Roumel the owner stop from table to table making sure everyone’s needs were met. I don’t drink and Lisa was on top of finding me some amazing mocktails. Seriously the best mocktails I’ve ever had. Food was amazing. Best place to eat around here.

Highly recommend you come down and see Roumel and his wife for amazing food and service. You will leave with a smile on your face.

Roumel the owner is all about curating good food with quality service and an unforgettable experience for his guests with a supportive and knowledgeable staff! As you enter through the state park off the beaten path, you turn the corner of woods to be welcomed by the charming entrance of Twin Springs with a cabin feel. Tiffany our server was an absolute gem who welcomed us and took care of us throughout the evening. The food is phenomenal and cooked to perfection! I ordered a medium rare ribeye while my fiancée ordered rare and both were perfectly cooked. Every single item on the menu from cocktails, wine, appetizers, specials, main courses, sides, and desserts are delicious. This place is perfect for celebrating special occasions and getting away for a quality, no rush, fine dining experience. On summer nights they have a beautiful covered and open patio options to enjoy the outdoors. If you’re in the Decorah Iowa area or simply passing through, this restaurant is a MUST!!!

The best steak I’ve had in a long time….maybe years! The service was superb…friendly, professional, informative, all with a smile. The owner visited our table twice, at the beginning of our meal and at the end. What a wonderful experience! Twin Springs Supper Club rocks!

Simply amazing. Our experience at this restaurant is one we've craved in Iowa for a LONG time. Service is spectacular. Food delicious! I am in the middle of a medical crisis, but we wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday while in town. My diet is extremely limited, but their menu and Chef are extremely accommodating. I asked to make some changes, praying I'd still get tasty food, but made with what I could eat. Dining is hard when you are sick or your food intake is limited in any way. After asking my waiter for some menu changes to a dish, he took my request seriously at the get-go (THANK YOU!!!), the Chef came out to verify and talk about what adjustments he'd need to make to my dish, asking about allergies (I have none and am just tied to a temporary medical diet until I have some healing). It impressed me that he would come out during their busiest time to make sure he served me something that met my needs, while also watching out for my safety. This is NOT industry standard, especially in rural Iowa towns. During my medical diet, I have tried in vain to eat out and it's almost impossible. I typically have to send my meal back or they won't even make accommodations in the first place. So to have this experience on my husband's birthday while we have been battling my illness for 8 months, really left an impression with us. I am overwhelmed, just from the service and food experience. We needed that..... And, to top it off, they offered an amazing dessert free of charge for my hubby's birthday (as is typical for this establishment). Now for the food - amazing. Without all the seasonings I am accustomed to normally eating, I was reserving myself to a bland steak and salmon and baked potato to fit my medical diet. Boy was I surprised that he used smoke to flavor the potato and used what I could eat for toppings. If these pictures could talk... The steak and salmon were cooked perfection. Quality ingredients that stood out with simple seasonings and expertly prepared. My husband shared that his meal was equally amazing - with even more flavor! So thank you. Food and eating out are something we truly miss and you all knocked it out of the park from the moment we entered the doors. Thank you isn't even enough to cover how you treated us and our experience. <3

One of my new favorite places when I want great steak or seafood! 75 minute drive from Austin,MN though (5 from Decorah, IA). Midpoint to meet my husband for supper on a Wednesday evening. You can wear whatever clean clothes you want and fit in just fine. We got there right after 5pm and it steadily filled up throughout our meal.1 mile off of blacktop, but don't let that deter you. Husband always gets fries for his side(s) and I'm not much of a fry person, but the homemade fries here were delicious (think best bucket of fries at the fair minus the extra grease). Very flavorful steak and shrimp, homemade croutons, and twice baked potato. Nice variety of gourmet appetizers and wines to choose from, but our meal was filling enough. Food prices are on par with chain and non-chain competitors, but the chef's cooking is an art to be admired. As a self-proclaimed savvy consumer, I would consider this an excellent value for money. The menu isn't lengthy, but it covers the essentials and I would guarantee anything ordered would exceed your expectations! The waiter, hostess, bar staff, and chef all checked on our meal and made sure we were taken care of (in a non-annoying way). Indoor, pergola, and garden seating available. Booths were very roomy, so my goddess-sized body had plenty of room and I would not hesitate sitting there even if I were 9 months pregnant. Beautiful and clean. Did not check out the bathrooms, but I would confidently expect them to be as satisfactory as everything else. The only thing that could have made it better, would have been ice cream after dinner drinks or frozen (pina colada) drink options. Chef is a transplant steakhouse chef from Chicago that moved to Decorah to open his own supper club in a more relaxed atmosphere 2 years ago. Well done!!!

Twin Springs Supper Club is definitely on our return list after our first visit and quickly made it to a special place in our memory. Excellent food and top notch service all in a beautiful setting. Located very conveniently just minutes outside of Decorah on a road that leads you past Twin Springs park which is worth a stop itself to check out the creek that runs along it. I made reservations for an anniversary dinner and while many restaurants may inquire about a special occasion, they don't really do anything about it. Twin Springs hooked us up with a private table with a nice outdoor view and an anniversary card on the table signed by the staff. We ordered one filet mignon with shrimp and one with salmon accompanied by Caesar salads, freshly baked bread, and twice baked potatoes. The filet was very tender, filled with flavor and cooked perfectly to order. The shrimp and salmon were also prepared with skill and packed flavor. The twice baked potato was like none other I've had but was the best I've had. The salads and bread were both fresh and served promptly after ordering allowing time to enjoy before the main course. The meal was satisfyingly filling and prices for the quality are reasonable. Dessert was a complete surprise that was again the kind acknowledgement of our special occasion. A warm brownie with ice cream, whipped topping and a cherry was a complimentary treat that just topped off the experience. The service we received at Twin Springs was exceptional from enter to exit. We were seated immediately when we arrived and our waitress, Harley, greated us promptly wishing us a happy anniversary right away. She was authentically pleasant and checked in on us frequently to be sure we had everything we wanted and were enjoying our experience. Besides our waitress, two other staff members stopped by to make sure we were content. Best dining experience in a long time! Amazing food and exceptional service.
