Amazing place to go!! The staff is on point as soon as you walk through the door. You feel like you been going there forever!! All the food is great! The oxtails are a must have the finest in the ROC!! Only thing I have not tried yet is the fried chicken. That's because I have my go to bowls. Oxtail, Curry goat, Curry chicken, and the BBQ jerk chicken!! So stop down. Make sure to loosen your belt cause you are going to eat like royalty 😋 💚💛🖤

Was in town for a convention over the weekend and headed head Jamaican food in quite some time. Everything was delicious. The staff was courteous and pleasant to talk to. They made us all feel very welcome including my two small children. I ordered oxtail and it was amazing. They deserve all the stars

Our first time visiting was this past Friday evening. The people were very friendly and helpful, explaining everything. We received a huge volume of food for the price. It happened to be a buy one jerk chicken or curry chicken bowl and get the second half price. My husband got the jerk chicken, I got the curry chicken. Suggestive sale got us a meat pie (not sure on the name). For all of that it was about $26. When we got home, my husband weighed his bowl, it was more than 2.5 pounds, mine was also over 2.5 pounds. All of the food was extremely good. We shared the meat pie, then we shared the two dishes. My meal I just finished today, ended up being 3 meal for me, plus my 3 year old granddaughter loved it and had two small bowls of it. My husband still hasn't finished his yet. We will DEFINITELY be going back here. The food was great, the people were friendly and the place was beautiful. The food was very flavorful, but not too spicy.

I'm highly satisfied with my Jerk Chicken Bowl. I couldn't believe the huge portion size and price of it. You're definitely going to get your money's worth and then some. This is now one of my favorite spots. See you all soon 😉

Went tonight for the first time, we got Ox tail Mac n cheese bowl and the jerk chicken bowl. Both outstanding! The jerk sauce is so good and their dumplings are some of the best! Delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out. (If you don’t think you want the steamed cabbage, yes you do)

After driving around Henrietta I found this hidden gem. I ordered the twisted Buffett and my container had enough food for several meals. Everything was very flavorful and will go back again.

No lie this is THEE BEST curry chicken wrap I have EVER ate.I am glad you guys are out my way.Nuff chicken,rice and veggies inside. I will definitely come back soon.

This has been my go-to restaurant since they opened and when they started the fried chicken Fridays, I try to go every Friday with my husband but for the past 3 weeks or so, the fried chicken as not been the best. I had really dried out chicken yesterday, that was overcooked and almost burned. My husband had oxtails and it still had its great flavor, but my chicken was just no good and shouldn't have been served, the plantains were not tasty, and the dumplings were hard to bite. I am not sure what has changed, and I want to continue supporting but you have to go back to serving the good food you were serving when you first started. I probably won't be coming for a while; I can't get over the fried chicken I have gotten in the past three weeks especially the one yesterday.

First time visiting and I bought the buffet bowl!! Food was delicious…… ten fingers down delicious. Well seasoned and portion size was huge!!! I had enough food for 2 days. This authentic Jamaican cooking!!!!

Opened promptly at Noon, as the door sign promised, and ready to serve. Everything; the premises, the staff, the food area, was very clean! The chef owner was pleasant and, as for the food itself: nicely cooked, good portions and tasty without being "spicy hot."

Really great place with incredible food. I’ve tried a little bit of everything and the food is always very well seasoned, and home cooked like it should be. My favorite is the pepper steak but the classics like jerk chicken and oxtail are really great as well.

Friendly owner and staff. Some sit down room but most carry out which I prefer instead of dining in. The owner made my food and he was cool answered my questions with a smile. They do everything assembly line style so you just tell them what all you want. Rice and beans with protein and then choose your toppings. Price was good for portion. The jerk chicken and pork were amazing. The chicken was marinated and can stand by itself for its flavor. Beef Patty's were good as well. The plantains and (I think he called them) dumplings were amazing. Check it out

This is some of the best food I've had in years, it's a hole in the wall next to a closed down smoke shop and my god is the food out of this world. I got the jerk chicken and I couldn't help but devour the entire thing. Its a lot of food for super cheap, I was out with someone and after drinks and tip it was $31. Absolutely golden spot, I can't wait to see this grow and flourish.

Awesome service Good food. Fresh rice and Cabbage. Meat was seasoned well. Love the owners they where very nice people and friendly. Good deals as well.

This place is such a hidden gem! It's a small place, tucked away in the corner of a plaza, but it packs a big punch of flavor! Their bowls are a great value and the meats are amazing! I have enjoyed every option I've tried, but the ox tail is my personal favorite. And don't forget about the plantains and the dumplings! You won't walk away hungry, that's for sure!

My first time at Twist, came with co- workers for lunch. I had the Jerk Chicken Mac n Cheese bowl with all of the veggies! The chicken had the most delicious flavor and seasoning, grilled to perfection...creamy mac n cheese...authentic Jamaican veggies.There is so much food, I just finished my 3rd meal from the bowl. I can't wait to try other menu items!!

Been a while since I've found a new delicious Jamaican restaurant in town. Great priced and well portioned Jerk Chicken Bowl. Food was delicious and staff were very welcoming. The only disappointment was I drove past this place so many times before I stopped in!

I love this restaurant! Tried it for the first time for lunch yesterday. I got the Jerk Chicken bowl with everything on it and WOW 👌 Everything was delicious and flavorful, and great texture. The beef patties were also very yummy. Special shout out to the oxtail gravy, absolutely mindblowing. I can't recommend this place enough! They have a lot of specials and it's very affordable. Portion sizes are generous. The staff is lovely. I was greeted with "Welcome to Twist!" when I walked in. I'm very excited to return!

Overall, Great experience. Food was tasty and loved the fact that the rice was similar to wild rice. The Jerk Bowl was excellent, though next time, I would be sure to ask for jerk sauce on the side for my bowl as the sauce was addicting. Great smoke on the chicken. Moist and not dry. The oxtail bowl was good as well. Loved the touch of festival and plantains on the side. Veggies were fresh, and you can tell they put love into each dish. Will be returning for the steak pineapple and to try the tacos.

Stopped in last night to have some Jamaican food for the first time in several years. The food was excellent, service was helpful and friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean. This will definitely be one of my new go-tos!

Portion sizing was amazing and certainly equal to the amount paid! Amazing and delicious food I was actually surprised it tasted that well! Honestly, will be going again but I am going to try the patties next time as I really craving one but forgot to pick it up. I recommend the oxtail bowl :) Everyone there was very polite and the service was quick!

I got the chef special: jerk chicken pineapple bowl. It looked good but the Chicken had no flavor so dry inside to eat it. This was not it

I was extremely hesitant about visiting this restaurant, mainly because of my previous experience with terrible Jamaican food in the upstate area. First I want to point out the customer service was amazing! Next I want to talk about their food....I ordered the oxtail bowl, and took home a jerk chicken bowl for wifey, man listen, this was the best oxtail I've had in a long time! I'm from Brooklyn and I have a lot of Jamaican friends who slay oxtails, but none of them can come close to their food! Their food was popping, oxtails were falling off the bone, and everything else was super flavorful. I recommend this spot if you want true GOOD Jamaican food and good services, if you want terrible food, then Macdonalds is close by. Yeah, y'all will be seeing much more of me! This is my 2nd time ordering thru Grubhub and I must admit that this place NEVER DISSAPPOINTS! I've ordered my favorite Jamician food, namely OX TAIL dinners in person, etc. thru various restaurants in area for many years and they are definitely the best thus far. My food always arrives when promised "nice and warm, with LOTS OF MEAT THAT'S EXTREMELY TASTY + CABBAGE, ETC. IS AWSOME AS WELL. DEF WORTH COST. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES 2 GETTING BOTH QUALITY AS WELL AS QUANTITY. I HOPE THIS NEVER CHANGES as CONSISTENCY is def key!! BRAVO and wanna thank you😉

I got the curry chicken bowl, which happened to be the lunch special so I think it was $9.95. Good size portion. Chicken was a little overcooked, but great flavor. They were extremely friendly and I will definitely be going back! I went back and got the jerk chicken lunch special and it was very good! Perfect amount of heat.

GET THE CURRY GOAT! Great portion size, the roll was crispy and a little sweet on the outside and dense and chewy in the middle, the fried plantain were very good, cabbage, rice and peas, and escovitch all tasty. But the goat... I will dream about the goat. I will make a pilgrimage to get more. You need the curry goat in your life. Stop whatever you're doing and go get some. I can't wait to try the oxtail next time.

The food is definitely delicious! The portion is much smaller than I’d expect for $19 per bowl. 4-5 oxtails and less than half the bowl filled with rice. I loved the taste of my food and the service provided, but I just can’t justify spending $45 on 2 bowls and such a small portion!

If you are in Western New York particularly in Rochester New York looking for a true authentic Caribbean experience twist Jamaican grill is it the seasonings come together so perfectly with every bowl wrap and food item he has his red peas soup is absolutely amazing everything I have tried so far from twist Jamaican grill has been extraordinary please do not hesitate to get there for your lunch or dinner needs you will be really satisfied I strongly recommend twist grill 💯💯😋😋😋😋😋

I’ve tried a lot of different Jamaican restaurants in Rochester but Jamaican grill topped all of them, the oxtail was so soft it was falling off the bone, the food was well seasoned, I loved everything about it. 100/10 definitely recommend.
