Fresh delicious food! The owners are wonderful and take pride in what they serve.

I experienced their high level of food and service at an anniversary celebration, so Tara and Travis were my first choice for my own book launch party. Excellent in all respects: delicious food, gorgeous presentation, well-trained and responsive staff, easy communication. And Tara's special touch with flowers made my heart glow.

Uncommon Catering catered our wedding in April 2024 and did such a great job. The food was so good - unlike any wedding food I've had! Travis was easy to work with and very communicative, and they incorporated lots of little personalized touches to the service. I'm very glad we went with them.

Our family style wedding was absolutely spectacular!!! Our guests raved about how tasty and beautiful the food was! Could not be happier with the experience we had with Uncommon. They provided both catering and bar staff. A++

So I was a guest at a wedding they catered last night. I’m celiac and I am severely allergic to dairy, nuts, fish, shellfish and pork. (Translated to I am hard to feed..) Oh. My. Goodness. I walk in and I’m told they were looking for me. They bring me the most delicious cucumbers with diced beets, green onions, this delicious mayo kind of sauce with this tasty flavor and a reduced soy sauce. Oh my goodness they were so good. I ate like 4 plates of them. When dinner came they brought me this squash soup that was so dreamy. Then my meal was these incredible veggies and this herb chicken. It was SO incredibly good! I was so grateful to be able to have a whole meal WITH INCREDIBLE FLAVORS since I am usually given a plain chicken breast and plain raw veggies and maybe a potato. I would highly recommend hiring them for any event that you have anywhere in the area surrounding Orlando/Lego Land. Make them your first and only phone call.

Our business has had a crazy year and our 100+ year old office building is currently a hot mess dealing with termites so I was tasked with throwing together a last minute Holiday Party. I needed food and remembered hearing good things about Uncommon Catering so I reached out thinking there would be no way they would be available but figured it never hurts to ask. Sure enough, they had a cancellation for our date so it was a win win!! Well, all the good things I had heard were rightly deserved because all the YASSSS in every way!! Easy to book with, kind, detailed, helpful, generous and I haven't even gotten to the quality of their food!!! We were blown away!! Truly, they made our Holiday Party a success and I can not be more grateful as it appeared to everyone that I pulled off the best party to date, but truly I can't take the credit Uncommon Catering so rightly deserves. So again I say thank you and would like to end my review with what I overheard during our party: "This is SO much better than "_____" (insert name of widely used catering company in Central Florida) Ha ha ha, funny, but also true!! Sorry I didn't take more pictures to share!!

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND Uncommon Catering who served our wedding with exceptional catering service!! They were 100% professionals and their entire staff were ON IT! They were super attentive to our every needs and even threw in an additional appetizer because their kindness is overflowing! They are a family owned local business that treats their team well and you can feel it in every interaction! I highly recommend them! They served fully vegetarian and vegan options and even source items locally when they can! They were supper supportive with my compostable/ reusable plates/cutlery needs and work closely with O-Town Compost to be as environmentally conscious as possible! I will use them again for future events!

I'm a fairly critical person in real life, so when there's nothing bad I can say about any dish after trying so many, you know the chef knows what she's doing. On the contrary, I started looking forward to the next dish because I developed trust that it would be amazing. Seriously, the roast pork and the poke bowl are amazing. The Reuben was crazy good, and all the food you get is well seasoned but not TOO seasoned. You get a sense of how much research and polish goes into everything here. I really hope they open up for public service again, I want another opportunity to eat my favorites.

AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about Uncommon catering. I’ll start off by saying the tasting is the best tasting you’ll ever go to. You get to try everything on the menu. They catered my wedding and I received so many complements from the guests regarding the food. I had multiple people tell me “it was the best wedding food they have ever had.” The owners are extremely timely and thorough. They made sure their food signs matched my decor. I would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely fantastic!! We had Uncommon Catering for our wedding last week and were so impressed. I have celiac disease, as does several members of my family, so we requested that the entire meal be 100% gluten free. Trevor and his staff went above and beyond to clean their kitchen and ensure that we would eat safely. Not to mention the food was amazing! They also made sure we had time to eat on our wedding day by bringing us food during cocktail hour pictures and serving us full plates of food before calling tables up to the buffet. The entire staff was so friendly as well. We're still eating leftovers a week later! Would definitely recommend!!

The food was spectacular! The team was amazing and attentive. They checked on us all night to ask if we needed anything. The bartender was so kind and so fast. We got everything we asked for!

First off, they provide a wonderful multi couple tasting experience to help you choose from a wide variety of menu options to best suit your occasion. My husband and I were hosting a brunch wedding and had a hard time narrowing down from the delicious options! Travis also was able to add on some breakfast croissants and bread as a nice touch to the meal. I had some of Chef Tara's food before at a wine dinner and had no doubt this was going to be some of the best wedding food our guests will have ever had. We got nothing but rave reviews from our guests that day and days after. Some highlights were the beef tenderloin crostini appetizer, french toast, beef tenderloin, and squash and zucchini au gratin. What followed every compliment on the food was a compliment on the staff. They were all so nice and my guests had special stories to tell me of how wonderfully they were treated or if special accommodations were made for them. Uncommon adds the extra touch that makes your day special.

We booked Uncommon Catering for our wedding this past weekend and EVERYONE was raving about how good the food was, they even went back in for seconds/thirds. I feel that for wedding food especially that is hard to find and it was important to me. We booked family style so it was a fun unique change to your typical buffet or plated style. They were also so kind and easy to work with the entire process. If you’re looking for truly yummy food, this is your spot!

Where to even start. Without exaggerating I can confidently say that Travis and Tara single handedly saved our wedding. After our first venue fell through last minute, they made sure they did everything in their power to make sure our wedding still took place. We were all but sure that we would have to cancel, and if it weren't for these two and their connections to the community, we surely would have. Needless to say, it came out even better than we initially planned! They showed extreme patience and flexibility with us as we were fumbling to put on a wedding last minute, and made sure we didn't forget a single detail. Their attention to detail was superlative. We even bumped into Tara while we were picking out flowers, and she was actually there picking some out just to match our decor. You can really feel how much love and passion is involved in their work. On the day of, the food and service was amazing, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. We would without a doubt return to Uncommon Catering for any future catering needs, and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know who is having an event. Working with these two was an absolute pleasure, and supporting a local family owned business was just the cherry on top!

If you are going to be closed on Saturday’s…be closed on Saturday’s, this is the second time I drive up here and you guys are closed.

I can't believe I forgot to write a review of this place! Came here on a whim a couple months ago with some friends and we all agreed it was the best food we ate on our trip. The menu is definitely uncommon, lots of different types of food and flavours, but it was all very good and well presented. The place itself was very cute and charming. A good spot to get something to eat and chat with friends.

Awesome place! My server (Lee) was extremely attentive and made my whole group feel right at home. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

Uncommon is a local gem that offers unique and tasty cuisine. I highly recommend the zucchini empanadas and the Baja bao buns. Yum!

This a great place to eat. The strawberry fields forever is amazing and the Reuben sandwich was amazing wonderful tasteful. You must give a try. It’s worthy of the price

I HIGHLY recommend Uncommon Catering for your event!! I hired them for my December 2021 wedding and their service (and food!!) was beyond amazing. I still dream of the food at my wedding because it was so yummy. From our very first interactions at the tasting, to the wedding day, working with Uncommon was a breeze. Their servers are friendly and highly professional. Their bartenders were a guest favorite and made our drinks perfectly! The initial tasting was very fun and we tried a huge spectrum of food! We were able to create a well rounded menu with Travis and Tara! All of our guests loved the food, and we couldn’t be happier with their service.

These guys catered our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. The entire process of working with them was amazing, and was only matched by how great the food and experience was. Couldn't recommend them enough.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Small menu but fresh, healthy and delicious. Friendly staff makes you feel welcomed and at home. My wife and I loved it! Definitely coming back.

Excellent hole-in-the-wall place, we stopped here for lunch on a whim after deplaning. Because they weren’t super busy when we were there, so we got to enjoy a quite lunch.

I had no idea I could get a poke bowl so close to home. This saves me a 3 mi trip. And the celery soda is worth a try. Not to mention their soup of the day was lobster bisque, which I can't find anywhere any more. I can't wait to see what they have next. And they have great prices for it, especially the soup, for the amount they serve.

My husband and I got to try this gem for lunch today uncommoncatering We went a little overboard with our ordering just for lunch, but it was too good to say no. For staters we had the clam chowder (soup du jour) and the beef empanadas. The clam chowder was excellent!! I really love empanadas and these were, mmm slightly above average. I wouldn’t get them again. They weren’t bad just need some tweaking. Then we both got sandwiches. I had the grilled cheese with truffle and mushrooms and my husband got the Reuben. The grilled cheese was delicious! They were out of the tomato basil soup but it would have been perfect for dipping. My husband’s Reuben though… MY GOD, a show stopper! We both said it might be the best Reuben we either of us has ever had. I mean it! It was that good. I’m sorry I didn’t take a better photo of the Reuben. It should have been front and center. This place is awesome, we will be back!

Delicious food with a changing menu. I could eat there everyday, never eat the same thing twice and enjoy every bite of every meal. If you haven't tried it yet, check it out for yourself- you won't be disappointed!

Travis and Tara at Uncommon Catering were a delight to work with on the wedding I coordinated and directed for a bride in Sanford, Florida. They were professional communicated well, on time and flexible. They provided a completely vegan menu and guests raved about how good the food was. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and their team!

Absolutely loved their creations for the palette. Had the citrus beat salad, amazing! Also the curried chicken, out of this world! You can’t stop the bacon Brussels sprouts, soo great, I mean come on, remember old baby cabbages? They have created a masterpiece with their selections. I recommend dining in, ordering take out, or any way you can, you need to experience Uncommon.

My DJ and Photo Booth company, King Entertainment Events had the opportunity to work with "Uncommon Catering" at the Venue 1902 in Sandford, FL, for the Armitage Wedding on 6/12/2021. The catering staff was friendly, professional, and easy to get along with. Travis and his team made our job of DJing and providing the entertainment a breeze. Not only was the food amazing but the staff was Professional, kind and courteous, I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The menu is small but the food was great. From the outside this place looks inconspicuous and a little mysterious but once you step inside, it's clear, this place is awesome.

Been meaning to stop by and try this place. Finally went in its super cute and food is made to order. It was very delicious 😋. They also sell some artisan canned cocktails, beer, and wine.

I can’t recommend Uncommon enough. The food is AMAZING. I tried both empanadas and can’t decide which one is my favorite. The beef empanadas came with a delicious dipping sauce and the zucchini filling in the others was mouthwatering. I also got to try a sample of the chicken curry salad and it was so flavorful. The Oreo cupcake was the perfect amount of sweet. Aside from the delicious food, the decor and atmosphere was hip and chic. Customer service was excellent and I will definitely be returning very soon.

The creations of Chef Tara are wonderful. We have been blessed in the Conway area with true culinary delights.
