Ordered via doordash. Decent food except dal tadka wasn’t edible (very very sour)… and quantity is less (rice is twice as much as curry)

Super fun modern but comfortable spot with generous portions. They had saag paneer on special which is my favorite, so I was delighted. The value meal is a great deal and the samosa was a great size and not overly bready. I will be back!

The best Indian restaurant in the central Florida area. Their butter chicken tastes like butter chicken unlike other restaurants in the area where chicken tikka masala tastes more like butter chicken and not also the authentic version of it.

I had never been a fan of Indian food and was sure nothing would change that, but agreed to give this place a try and expand my palate. Every Wednesday is lunch day and we chose Urban Turban. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the chicken tikka. I was blown away! And immediate mad at myself for not trying them sooner, considering they’re literally out my back door. It tastes like it’s homemade, like it’s made with love. Downtown needs this establishment. I’ve seen so many places come and go and I hope Urban Turban is here to stay! I truly couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Major fail. Ordered two chicken tikka masalas and got two of I-don’t-know-what. And the naan bread was hard as a rock. We ordered once from here before and it was very good. This time was a big miss. Jury is out and ordering from here again.

We have NEEDED an Indian spot in downtown. This was my third time getting a takeout order. The guy working suggested the vegetable Korma and it is by far, my favorite! The korma is so rich and creamy. I also got their Ginger Tea. Perfect kick!

Solid Indian food with vegetarian options. The curry is a bit watery for my tastes but it doesn't take away from the flavor. I think they need more options (lamb, goat) and curry options (vindaloo, etc) to really break into 'great' territory. That said the place was clean and the service was good.

What a cute place. Very easy to take out your plate here & they’re very accommodating with spice level and flavor. Got a chance to try their beef samosas they’re testing and it was so good. Loved the chicken tikka masala, it was a little different from what I’ve had other places but in a good way. Kind of a different take.

Clean and upbeat vibe with very pleasant staff! A good amount of food for the price - even my very picky teen enjoyed dinner. A great balance of flavorful and spice. We visited at a slow time and were invited to try some options they are thinking of adding to their menu - all super delicious! Can’t wait to return and are encouraging our friends to check it out!

Three stars is perfect for this place. It’s fine… but nothing special. Items are freshly prepared, so points for that. Everything is pretty average. You order at the counter and they prepare it. I had the chicken tikka masala, which was very average (as was the ambience). I expected better based on reviews.

My partner and I were not sure what to expect since we don't come downtown often but this place was amazing. The guy behind the counter explained everything well and we were both extremely pleased with the choices we made. The samosas and buttered chicken are to die for. We ended up taking food home in containers that made sure nothing spilled into the other sections and were microwave safe!

We were excited to try this place based on the reviews but food was very subpar to what would be considered “good” Indian food. The Chana masala was watered down and so was the saag paneer. Naan is overpriced for the small few pieces they give you. The only good part was the mango lassi which was well made. Definitely not the place for authentic Indian food which tastes good.

My family and I dined here for the first time today, and we were served at the counter promptly. The food was tasty, the portions were generous, and we were very pleased with the overall value. We enjoyed the paneer tikka masala, Chana masala, and garlic naan. This restaurant has indoor dining, five tables of various sizes, countertop/bar top seating, high chairs and restrooms. We found it to be kid friendly (assuming that your children enjoy Indian food). There is no specific kids menu, but my husband and I found that we were able to share our entrees with the kids and still feel full. (Pro tip: use the plastic top of your food container to make a “plate” for your little ones.)

Cute vibes if you remove the snarky associates and the lack of knowledge of the menu. We came to this restaurant hopeful to try out some good food. However, after my sister took one bite of the tikka masala her throat immediately felt itchy. We asked an associate what was in the tikka masala and he listed two to three ingredients but sounded very unsure as if he hadn’t been asked that question. After own research we realized tikka masala can have cashew paste or ground nut powder in it. My sister has a severe allergy to nuts. This obviously has affected her health. As per the guidance of the FDA it is the responsibility of the establishment to educate their staff as well as clarify their ingredients for customers to make well informed choices. If you still choose to eat here I would suggest that you think twice if you have an allergy to nuts. *just in case there is any rebuttal, she has eaten tikka masala before and did not have an adverse reaction*
