Was told we weren’t welcome unless we could eat within 10 minutes!

Never heard of an Italian buffet before so had to try it out. Servers were very nice so it's nothing to do with them. Food however, was not the greatest. Only a couple items I could eat such as some of the pizza or salad. Worse, one of the fresh pizzas that came out had a long strand of hair in one of the slices! Most items had a strange after taste or just was not palatable. The price was also appalling . It was way more than I expected.

Food was not good. Pricing was 34 dollars for 2 people. Waitresses were working hard and kind. Do not go here, buy some hotdogs and buns, cheaper and you'll feel much more satisfied with your day.

I’m sorry but this place is absolutely disgusting. Food tastes like hospital food that was frozen and they just warmed it up. Has no flavor. $16/person for garbage. Our waitress was really nice but that’s all they’ve got going for them. Don’t waste your money.

I feel that this place has declined in quality.

Buffet food was fresh and continously refilled! Our server was friendly and always one step ahead on what we needed. Great Saturday evening experience.

The were snippy and it said it was 11.29 per person on the website but at the end of the night it came to 60.39

Very nice to enjoy a wonderful buffet! In Fremont where we live, there are no buffet facilities. We will return to this Valentino's. 👍😋

Used facilities for a recent club meeting. Meeting room was large and well prepared. Staff was very accommodating.

Tonight was not that great of an experience. In fact, the food has been going downhill for a long time. The chicken strips have been sitting there so long that the meat wasn’t even meat anymore. The pizza was cold and you can never eat the ice cream because it’s like rotten ice crystal milk wanna be something. I don’t even know how to explain that. The carpets are absolutely disgusting like they’ve never been cleaned the entire time they’ve owned the establishment. Plus why in the world does it cost $14 for a 3 year old to eat here? My kid east less then a one year old

Food was awesome ice cream machine was working🤣. Workers were nice. But I was helping my sister get ice cream and out of nowhere this grown lady in her 50s come up right in front of my sister and said EXCUSE ME! Just said it so rudely and blocked my sister from the toppings. Now I don't now if I'm overreacting or is that rude?

Our favorite for pizza delivery. Only 30-45 min and always on time! The cheeseburger pizza is our fave! Thanks Val’s for the pizza fix when we need it! ♥️

Ladies restroom was out of paper towels and I asked then to put more in and they never did

It was pretty good. But I know some of the workers on a personal level. They tell me they set out things like two day old cheese. The food is a bit skeptical but it's whatever

Valentine's salad bar is fantastic, so is their pasta dishes, but I've never cared for the taste of their pizza, just a personal thing I guess. Service is great and the atmosphere is good as well.

Everything was simply less than average.

We are truck drivers so we have eaten alot of places and if I could give this place a 0 I would. The food was cold, no flavor, the salad bar was the only thing that was decent. The tea was weak. I left there and my stomach hurts. The staff was very nice. I would not go back for the food

Pictures are worth a thousand words. I asked for spaghetti WITH meatballs. This has to be the thinnest amount of meatSAUCE I've ever wasted my money on! I'll put it in my fridge until I can mix it with someone else's REAL spaghetti. 😏 A bowl of noodles, and 3 teaspoons of the least colorful looking sauce I've seen outside of a generic dollar store brand.

What happened to customer service? I get that showing up at 8pm when the buffet ends at 830pm, but don't close until 9PM was our choice. But what happened to customer service? We were very rushed the entire time we were eating. It took 5 minutes to get our plates to eat, but they didn't waste a minute tearing down the buffet at 830pm.

Stopped in @ around 1:00pm and everything was cold and looked like it'd been there since 11:00am Will never go back & I used to love Vals

The lady that greeted me was rude. They told me they closed in a half hour when the website says they’re open till nine and the food was cold. Horrible experience never return.

Cashier treatment of other employees was awkward. He also raised voice towards us when daughter didn't see sign please wait to be seated. Food excellent

The chicken strips were excellent!

This place is highly over rated and over priced. For a family of four it cost $72. We had recently also went to Texas road house and our bill was cheaper there. There plates at this establishment are scuzzy on the bottom and edge which scrapes off with your nail so you know they are just dirty. I also had to go ask for a refill on my drink. Disappointing all the way around.

Great value for the money. Limited selections on the buffet line but didn't cost an arm and a leg, so worth the visit while hungry.

Nice buffet the food was really good fresh. The service was very nice as well they seated my friends and I and brought us our drinks and plates after that wr dug in. The food was fresh delicious and seasoned.

I got there for lunch when they first opened for the buffet. The pizza was cold, but the rest of the food taste great. My issue is the $18.27 they charged me for a soda and buffet. I was alone also so that fee was just for one person. RIPOFF!

They have a good meal the gal that's been there for a while is pretty good about just getting you drink and you set up and keeping your plates cleared

Well, this was our 2nd time here and sad to say, most likely the last. 1st time was was not the best 1st time experience. Went in and was 'greeted' with a "Can I help you?!" ( Kinda like you would do, when finding someone wondering in your backyard ). We proceeded to stay and found that the food, was about as warm as the initial 'greeting'. Everything, and I mean everything, was luke warm. The chicken was at least hot. Salad and drinks, were cold. We figured that maybe this was the case by coming in later in the lunch hours. Nope 2nd time we went, at least the greeting was pleasant. We went in a few minutes after they opened and bamm! Same food temperature's. Pizza was at least hot. Definitely NOT going to be a 3rd time. And the server was the same old abrupt woman. Sorry ma'am, but when you are treated by someone using their manners, respond with the like. I do not care what bridge you were born under.

The food's good and the girl knows what she's doing at the tables but the tea basically was brown water. Besides the tea everything else was great.

I literally just spent $30 on a small pizza five breadsticks and three meatballs. Went back for my noodles and wanted to charge me $30 for noodles

There where only a few tables occupied and the staff was no where to be seen most of the time. The staff really need some training on how to take care of customers

The salad bar is very good. The pasta bar is also good. They have a pizza bar which is good. Fried chicken legs. Chicken fingers, French fries, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, a taco & nacho bar. 2 kinds of Soup. Dessert bar, & ice cream. It's not as much to choose from as the one in Norfolk. That Buffet is AMAZING! I wish as many of our friends have voiced, that the Columbus buffet would add more Ike the Norfolk Valentinos. Good place to eat.

I oreder delivery 1-2 times a month. Will dine In for buffet. From time to time. The price is perfect for what we order. The buffet has a decent selection. I love those chocolate chip cookie bars and the pasta bar most. On a side note when you can't be at the husker football game order a pizza and get a slice of the game atmosphere.

It was okay for a buffet. I wouldn't call it world class. If you want a salad, it's not the place. The toppings were subpar. And the lasagna tasted weird? Like from a can. The chicken was moist but without flavor. The gravy was thick and I don't mean good thick. The pizza was okay. It reminded me of DiGiorno. The breadsticks were good. But you don't really go to a restaurant to buy breadsticks. On the other end The cherry streusel was probably the best I've ever had...which is odd. I mean if I was in the mood I might give it another go. Maybe it was just an off day.

A delicious variety of pizzas that they continuously bring out as well as pasta and sauces. Tacos, broasted chicken, salad bar and desserts! Yum.

Our family likes to stop at "Val's" when we're in Nebraska. The food is fine as far as buffets go- fried chicken usually tasty and crunchy, pizza- a step below Godfather's & the Hut. Lasagna, ok. I mean, no one is under the illusion that you're going to eat I-talian food, right? It's pizza buffet. It's local. It's on the cheap and the kids get ice cream at the end. One thing that makes everything appetizing is clean dishes, though. Our we're not. I'll include a picture. It's not the fault of the dishwasher- it's management being cheap. Replace your dishes when the dirt is visibly caked on-gross. Yeesh. See ya next time!!

This is by far the best restaurant in the whole world. i’ve never had better service anywhere. the staff were amazing and the food couldn’t of tasted better. Audriona was a amazing waitress. she took care of us so well. The kitchen girl with blonde hair was so good at putting food out. she always made the sure the food was fresh. the host aleah was so good at cleaning all the tables and was kind when cashing us out. i definitely recommend coming here.

They lost our large group reservation and were really rude about it.

It’s good. But nothing makes me more upset then when a tip is automatically added. I will tip what I want to tip. I was in there with another set of parents after a softball game and got honked with a tip.

Good food as we went back after a couple years and had a good experience until I had a hair straddle my tongue making it very hard to eat after that.

This is one of the few Valentino's locations that still offers the Grand Italian Buffet. The buffet offers a large variety of delicious options. I highly recommend trying it out!

The only complaint I have is that nobody really checked on us to make sure we were doing ok! Other than that, it was a bad experience!!!

Not a bad buffet. It has the Valentino's pizza everyone loves and the salad bar is great, but everything has a stickiness to it which makes things feel unclean.

Valentinos was very good.They have a delicious salad bar,everything was fresh. I love their pastas, the slice of hamburger pizza that I had was sibpar,subpar, honestly, that's the worst I can say! The service was excellent as well,Jean was very attentive to our needs. When you're in Columbus, Nebraska, and hungry for lasagna, I highly recommend Valentinos! Their desert bar also rocks,with cherry and apple cobbler, along with soft serve ice cream!

Great family restaurant! This Valentino's location is a full buffet. We LOVE their ranch dressing, and they have a great salad bar with lots of topping options. They serve delicious broasted chicken, as well as an assortment of fresh pizzas. There is also a small taco making station, dessert station, and pasta station, all with multiple options. There are even mashed potatoes, corn, and biscuits! As of April 2021, they are not requiring masks or gloves as you go through the buffet.

This Valentino's gives you an interesting experience. I do not recommend for those with large crowds, the chefs in the back usually aren't able to keep up with the amount of food that is being eaten. Otherwise, ok food and service.

Recommend not to do buffet... Order off menu... Best way to discribe the taste of the buffet is leftover school lunches. An salty... decent costumer service...

The Di-Namic Divas are showing off their new Christmas stockings after our delightful Christmas Party. The staff was so accommodating, especially Kayla, our fantastic young waitress! And everybody left totally fed up with the delicious buffet!!

Food on buffet was not hot and fresh. The experience was a disappointment.

Valentino's is a classic place for ever family outing. Our trips wouldn't be the same without them.

I came home to Nebraska from Texas and more than everything else I craves Valentino's. This is the best around

Whenever we're in Nebraska we have to have Valentino's. The only one we were near was this location. Had the buffet and it was just okay as far as variety. There was always pizza available but it was more lukewarm than hot. I didn't really pay attention to the chicken or potatoes or whatever else was there as long as there was plenty of pizza. The lasagna was nice and hot. Had a nice selection of sweets to finish off the meal. The pizza was as I remembered. It's something about the sauce that makes it so delicious. The server was overextended so we had to wait for plates, refills and nearly anything else we needed. The pizza saved the meal and this review because the service and variety was nothing impressive.

Ordered a pizza with peperoni and Canadian bacon. The peperoni was very thinly sliced and the Canadian bacon was crumbled. Could not taste any meat at all. The pizza was over $20. Sadly Little Caesars is better.

Staff is wonderful. The pizza combinations are a mix of standard and unique. It's an Italian Buffet with a decent salad bar. The desserts are why you go, let's be honest. I mean, where else do you find cherry or apple cobbler on-demand!

For a buffet the food is always quite fresh, warm, and tasty. The variety is outstanding as well. Everything from pasta, to tacos, to fried chicken, to Pizza, to soups. The cost is in line to most other local buffets. A great dining experience.

Whiskey Creek had wonderful blooming onions, good bread, and tasty salads, but the brisket was dry and the Philly cheesesteak had fat on most of the pieces of steak. I had hoped to try the bison burger, but they were out of it.

We stopped in to have buffet. Pasta was great. Pizza was on the buffet line way to long. Dessert pizza was great.
