I'm a ups driver and the owner offered me a free drink. So nice! Thank you! And the caramel machiotto was amazing.

Service was great, food is okay as the Danish is old and tough.

Coffee is good , pastries are good, but the parking is not good.

Great coffee, excellent service, amazing muffins. The muffins were way better than they any right to be. Cozy little place. I live in Burlington so it's a bit of a drive but if I lived in Shleburne I'd be here very often. Love it! We got a matcha latte and a chai latte as well as blueberry and a raspberry muffin.

Tuesday 9/12 5:45pm. You say your open until 6pm. Ran outta house to get here and grab something for evening and you’re already closed. Extremely disappointing. Either change your hours on website or stay open until you say you are.

Asked for decaf, didn't realize I got caffeinated until half way through. 5x my daily caffeine limit made me sick enough that I had to clock out of work and spend most of the day in the bathroom. The pastry was delicious, though. Update: I'm not sure if the owner understands that decaf is USDA regulated at 97% uncaffeinated. Anything over 5mg per 5oz of liquid cannot legally be called decaf.

Local coffee shop - good coffee and lots of little snacks and other options.

We got to stop in before our trip home from the Nordic cup soccer tournament. My wife said her coffee was incredible, I got a delicious iced tea, and the lemon poppyseed muffin was fantastic. We can't wait to visit the area again so we can stop in.

It's worth the short trek from Burlington to Shelburne to get coffee this good. Relaxed atmosphere. A few tables to enjoy the coffee and pastries. Big parking lot if you're into cars. Otherwise, bus stops just a few feet away.

Well pulled espresso and a little baked good, what more can you ask for? Staff are always friendly and sociable. Try out the macaroons in the fridge behind the checkout - you won't be disappointed.

They have Wifi, but don't give access.

Order their matcha - enough said:-) Even though Kevin will chide you that the name is the Village Wine and Coffee do not be deceived their matcha and chai teas are some of the best around. And if you get Kevin to serve you you'll get a dose of the local humor. This place is one of the hearts of the community and Kevin is the narrator!

Take it or leave it, Village Wine and Coffee is exactly what it's trying to be: a cozy place to meet over a cup of espresso, or purchase from a nice collection of wine with the optional guidance of the owner. I'll take it.

Wonderful coffee, chocolate and a cozy place to meet friends. I ran into Kevin, the owner. What a treat that was! He is such a giving, warm person, dispensing his generosity in many ways! I would definitely drop by again.

A top notch wine boutique with a global selection showcasing the knowledgeable owners' personality and experience. Particularly excellent sections for Italian nebbiolos and white wines. A bottle for every mood!

Expresso could have been warmer- it was to go. It was luke warm by the time I got to the car.

3 stars because they got my order wrong and I was overcharged. The biscotti was just okay but I will be back for more of their espresso drinks.

Visited from out of state on the recommendation of a local B&B and was not disappointed. I work as a wine sales rep in another market, and this is easly one of the most well curated shops I've been in. The gentleman that helped me was super friendly, knowledgeable about all the wines we spoke about, and was able to make recommendations that were all home runs. If I'm ever anywhere near the area again I'll 100% be back. Wish there were more shops like this!

Nice staff and cute atmosphere, but really horrible coffee. Tried them a few times since they are on my regular commute and every time I end up wishing I’d gone to a gas station for coffee instead (to be fair the gas stations have Vermont Coffee Company and Speeder and Earl coffee). The food leaves a lot to be desired as well.Disappointing. There is a high bar for coffee here in VT and they just don’t meet it.

I have driven by this establishment so many time but that will be a thing of the past. Finally stopped in and received an education on the production of wine. Asked for a recommendation and had the pleasure of enjoying a very nice bottle of wine that did not break the bank. Looking forward to returning, buying another bottle of the same and getting another recommendation.

We stopped by en route on Route 7 to Burlington and had excellent macchiatos! Service is self serve and you bus your cups etc. after. All is conveniently laid out and clearly marked. Several tables are reserved for coffee and conversation, with laptops to be used on side tables and a window counter. Service was prompt and friendly. The rest room was very clean. There are several fairly steep steps into the building, but there are sturdy railings on both sides. This was a great stop--I would recommend stopping if you are in the area. There were several parking spaces across the street (perpendicular to the street).

Visited twice during out time in Shelburne and both times were very nice. The coffee was good and the biscotti even better. A very busy place.

Village Wine and coffee is exactly what you would expect for a "Vermont Coffee Shop" - Good coffee, served with a conscience (paper straws, for example). Fast and friendly service - definitely worth the stop

If this sounds like a little hole in the wall, it is. However if you enter you'll quickly realize that this is no ordinary coffee being served and the wine shop is extensive. You will find help in selecting what you are looking for as far as price range and taste. The owner is super knowledgeable and will spend time with anyone interested. Same for the coffee. It's quite a high quality shop disguised as a little corner store...

I was going to visit some friends and needed reasonably priced champagne and rose. The proprietor was very helpful in selecting some unique and lovely french varieties. BTW, the coffee is great too!

I was in Shelburne with a friend and my dog on the way to do the hike up Pease Mountain and wanted to stop for coffee. We happened into Village Wine and Coffee and what a surprise. First of all it was dog friendly so we were able to enjoy our coffee and scones inside on comfortable chairs. Coffee was superb and I am pretty picky. We had a very good scone and my dog was lavished with treats and affection from all. . .operators and patrons alike. While waiting for my friend to finish, I strolled through the surprisingly large and interesting wine shop in the rear. If we weren't traveling I might have gone out with some ice wine, which you don't find in every wine shop. If you find yourself in charming Shelburne, treat yourself and your dog to this place. You won't regret it.

This store is more of a wine place than a coffee place. I can't speak for their quality of wine, but I can speak for their quantity of wine. They have alot of options! But for a coffee place, they don't have very much coffee selection, even though they do offer the option of it.

Stop by often to meet up with a colleague nearby to just talk and share a cup of coffee. Also great wines and bakery items (limited food, but yummy).

This is my favorite coffee shop! They have wonderful coffee and a cozy sinister to sit in and read or get some work done.

The coffee is great and free WiFi even better. I haven't had an issue finding a place to sit, people are nice here and willing to share. Please don't park on the sidewalk!

Right in the center of the village, this a hub of local activity and a great spot to meet friends for coffee or go solo. Free wifi, too. Decorative art adorns the wall, a vast selection of wines and terrific coffee. THe scones are simply to die for!

Funky local wine and coffee store

An exquisite stop for a tea or coffee, but mainly for the unusually informed selection of wines. To say Kevin knows wine is an understatement. He also seems to find small vineyards that many are unfamiliar with, like Bedrock. He will give you as much or as little advice as you want. Can't wait to get up there again--cheers!

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the Burlington area. Their lattes rival what I drank in Italy. They also happen to have some of the most delicious pastries. The scones and almond croissants are not to be missed.
