The best hoagies very, come from thousand miles to get the food. Very friendly staff.

Vino’s makes a Reuben that puts all other Reubens to shame. Ever since trying it, all other Reubens fall short. It easily beats out KJ’s Pickle Barrel and Pierce St Deli and even tops another really good local Reuben made by Goldstein’s Deli. Miller’s Bar in Charlottesville, VA has a really good Reuben, supposedly made famous by Dave Matthews, but it still can’t hold a candle to Vino’s. I’ve tried a lot of their other menu items and have never been disappointed, but I probably won’t get around to trying anything else because of how good their Reuben is. Vino’s does tend to get really busy and, because of their size and the high demand for their food, they do tend to get backed up, especially during the lunch rush. So, you may need to call several times before you’ll get through, but it’s worth it.

Park across the street. Parking is very difficult with no parking signs on side street. The little corner shop is VERY busy with customers coming and going with packages of delicious subs. The small sub is LARGE and full of a generous portion of meats and cheeses. This is a nice break from the Big Box sub shops we normally see while traveling. Easily accessible from Route 81. Thank you!

Last Night was our 3rd of the 5 night's for our vacation... We decided to pickup dinner from a local family owned Deli that is 70+ years old. It's Vino's Deli, 561 Blackman Street at the corner of Charles Street, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania... They make Subs, Hoagie's, Sandwiches and other types of foods for individual consumption and or catering. The Patriarch opened the establishment as a Butcher and Grocery Storefront and after his Passing the next generation converted it into a. Deli and Sub Shop. Kit ordered mini perogies, mini potato pancakes and a hotdog with mustard. I ordered the #3, Vino's Italian - Ham, Hard Salami, American Cheese which I was going to switch out with Swiss. I ended up changing my normal Swiss to Cooper Cheese after the current Matriarch presented a sample slice that both Kit and I tasted!!! I had my normal toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers, vinegar, mayonnaise with salt, pepper and oregano... We brought the meals back to the hotel room and began our dinner... We were very pleased with the quality, quantity, taste and how everything was prepared... There was one thing noticeable about how my sandwich was made the contents and toppings were separated by how the roll was cut and a middle portion of the crown was cut in a way to make the sandwich appear like a club type presentation that allowed me to keep things from overflowing and falling out of each half. Everything was delicious, fresh and supports the reason I will continue to spend our money at the Small Local Family operated businesses that show commitment and pride in their products...

Stopped on a road trip. Could not have been happier to find this place!! Sandwiches are AMAZING. The people working there and the other patrons were warm and accommodating to first timers. Wish we could go back again!!

Nothing compares to this amazing deli. My fav of the Italian but you can’t go wrong with anything else!

Absolute best hoagies in the city of Wilkes-Barre! Pictured below is half of a large Italian with everything!

First time here, won't be the last. Pretty extensive menu, fair pricing. Got some mini fried pierogi-they came with a side of sour cream I think (I didn't use it), but themselves were dry (no butter/onions) with a light sprinkling of salt. Dough was crispy but not burnt, and the potatoes inside were hot and creamy. Amazing appetizer that'll be hard to pass up in the future. Main dish was a cheese steak on a pretzel roll, and it was so outta this world tasty. Pretzel rolls obviously raise any sandwich to a higher tier, but this cheese steak was one of the best cheese steaks I've ever eaten. It's one of those meals that is so good you can't wait to taste what else is on their menu, but at the same time if you order something different it feels like you're cheating on yourself. I wish I'd known about this place sooner, because I've been missing out.

This place is fantastic! Don’t let the small, corner location keep you away. I ordered this 5 hoagie platter for my birthday party and it was a huge hit with my family. This made it so much easier than ordering individual sandwiches for everyone. They slice the roll twice longways, leaving a barrier between the meat and veggies. It’s a brilliant idea that keeps the ingredients nicer longer. We will definitely be going back for more!

Always Good! The Double-sliced roll keeps the lettuce from getting soggy! Delicious hoagies and cheesesteaks. I also love their chicken salad hoagies with banana peppers, lettuce, tomato and onion.

The absolute best hoagie in Wyoming Valley. Fast and friendly. Check out the dessert cooler as well: Dirt pudding is to die for. Everything' on the menu is made fresh and family owned. The best!

A few months ago, I purchased 2 hoagie coupons to support a fund-raiser. We went down on Friday to get them. I ordered the #13 hoagie. My sister got the #3 for herself and purchased a #10 for her husband. I must say these were some of the BEST hoagies, if not the BEST hoagies we have ever had! They were huge and loaded with quality meats! We will definitely make the drive from Scranton to get these again! Excellent!! I highly recommend this place!

I'm not sure the the prices have changed much in 60 years! Hoagie are great, hell- all of it is great. Always a stop when seeing family. Always made quickly too. Uniquely cut subs to avoid it being saugy. Great place- support local

Stopped in on a whim. Great food! I was travelling on I-81and got off the Wilkes Barre exit.. saw on google maps there was nearby Deli. Great food and a few tables to eat at. Super nice people. Bread is crazy fresh. It is on a side street, worth the stop.. way better choice than Perkins or fast food.... Close to the exit. Would definetly stop again!

Those that want to eat fake processed stuff don't go here, you want yourself 2 meals? Get a large, you want a sub done right make sure you find yourself down there. Again folks, fats Mcgee here...that is half of a small.. Italian (second best to their chicken cheese steak) with their dust....mayo...oil and vinegar...need I say more? Oh yea they also have alot other stuff that'll rock your world. 10/10 recommend for fatties of the valley like me. Cheers to people who enjoy eating as much as this guy.

Excellent in-and-out type hoagie place, with probably top 3 hoagies in the whole area. Soups are tasty too, and there are loads items on the menu I haven't yet tried. A favorite lunch spot for sure!

The food is consistent and always good. I usually have a sub but had a wrap and really enjoyed it. Lighter than bread but still flavorful.

Vinos has the best cheesesteaks in NEPA!! They are huge and they aren't skimpy on the hoagies at all. Always busy, but worth the wait. If you want a good cheesesteak then go there.

Vino's is a staple on Blackman St. The hoagies are out of this world. Most definitely call early for a lunch hour order. But if you have to wait, then wait. Your taste buds will thank you when it is all said and done.

I work in the valley often and when we are on that side of town vinos is a must for lunch. Home style feel as soon as you walk in and you are treated as if you were there yesterday. Awesome establishment and the food is top shelf. Hot turkey bacon cheese on a pretzel roll is my go to check it out!

Best around. The small hoagie is 2 meals. Highly recommended.
