First time tasting honey based...likes the traditional, mesquite and Carolina reaper one

Love the vibe of this place...got the flight of meads. Good variety and some non-alcoholic drinks too!🙆🏾‍♀️

One of the first places we were introduced to when we were considering relocating to the Upstate. We have never been disappointed when visiting The Wandering Bard. For first-timers, I recommend getting a flight or two to figure out what you like. For me, it's the Carolina Peach Reaper. So good.

What a great place! Huge selection of exceptional meads. Great people! We went early, mid-week, and spent a ton of time chatting with the owner about mead. Thoroughly enjoyed my flight. No wonder they have more medals than you can count hanging on the wall.

Originally left a 1 star by mistake thinking I left a 4 star and they responded so fast I'm leaving 5 🤣 love the blueberry mead. Can't wait to try more.

The blueberry mead and carrot cake mead were both delicious. Friendly bartender. The sweatshirt I bought is very soft.

We did a mead tasting event here. Mead was very good and the atmosphere was very cool. The presentation and wvent was a bit rough. Needs some classing up, etc. Charcuterie they served was very good. Overall, I highly recommend.

I love the atmosphere here and the mead is delicious! I went last week for D&D night and had the best time just watching and learning. I love me some Wandering Bard Meadery!

The meads here are amazing. They have a flight so you can try several. Great space. The girl working both times wasn’t personable though.

I haven't had much experience with Mead before so I was pretty open to the experience. There is quite a selection and they have 2 flights with 5 different preselected meads to try. You are able to change any of the preselected drinks if another sounds too good to pass up. The beginner flight gave me the chance to experience their unique flavors and profiles. The Battle Bard mead was the biggest surprise of the night. I am not a fan of hops including IPA's and was informed that this "dry-hoped" drink was not like that. They were 100% correct. I was able to taste the hops but the bitterness associated with IPA's simply wasn't there. It was very pleasant and I would definitely order it again. This establishment is in the perfect complex with other businesses creating a destination for a very fun night.

Unique shop located in the Hampton Station. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff really added to our visit. Mead is like wine, but made with honey, if I recall correctly. It is very nice! We tried a flight, and I'd definitely recommend doing that if you've not tried mead before. They have several selections on tap to choose from. Also there's a small menu of items if you'd like. But Hampton Station has several restaurants on site.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the mead is delicious. Fun place to come and hang with friends and feels like a tavern in the best way!

We were looking to check off the Upstate Ale Trail but found much more. We were welcomed into an atmosphere of new friends and a new beverage. Definitely will be back with more friends.

Went with a group and had a good time. Drink were interesting and tasty. Pretzel was also very good. Owners were enjoyable with the tour of the brewery.

One of my FAVORITE places in Greenville! Never had mead before and they got me to love it. Bartenders are always friendly. Best large pretzel I've EVER had. Hummus is good, too. And the owner, Adam, is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. They also have really cool quarterly events (which is how I found the place). Seriously can't sing the praises enough!

Great spot with a large selection of meats to try! I ordered a dry flight to get a selection, and found that they weren't super dry at all but a nice balance and not too sweet. Lots of cozy seating and board games as well.

We come for trivia on Thursdays and do the $14 build your own flight! It's so much fun!

Their mead is great and their staff was awesome. The food was on point and the atmosphere was really chill. If you haven’t tried mead, I encourage you to give it a try. It’s like cider but not as sweet and very tasty!

Mead selection was nice. Went with the wife. We had the lost Cuban and pizza panini, they both was very delicious.

Mead selection is great ... charcuterie boards pair well. Panni sandwiches are just okay.

Food is great, love the atmosphere and my oldest loves that they have games to play while you're waiting.
