This place was terrible sat down not to get minutes for 15 minutes then waited anouther 45 I went to to ask abt are food for the cooks to tell me it was ready and coming out then 5 minutes later the waitress came out just to tell us are food wasn’t being made not to mention all of the empty tables were dirty but 1 and the building is falling apart

06-23-24, and yet another visit of over an hour and this time the pizza was wrong, didn't stick around. At least my wings were comp'd. Stay tuned for my next visit in 6 months when I need to feel disappointed in something again. At this point I don't know how this place stays open. 4th time wait time is over an hour

If you were to be blindfolded before walking in, you'd swear that you were at some little beach bungalow. I love the environment here. And the servers are always very welcoming. Eric has really done a great job in establishing some fine restaurants in the downtown are. I'll let you go on the adventure to find the rest.

Best gluten free pizza i've ever had, so many choices for toppings with a crust that doesn't compromise taste or texture. The place I miss the most from Nebraska.

This was a great place for a great slice of pizza and was given a five stars last review. I stopped in for lunch the place is falling apart and needs some TLC. We placed our order to eat in and when we got it just wasn't the same. The pizza had barely any sauce and so much flour on bottom of the crust was making a mess. I used to eat a large to myself and I couldn't make it past two slices this round. They need to pay attention to what's being made because I'm sure I'm not the only one that doesn't like the new recipe with the flour and less sauce.

Tried the Santa Cruz and fried mushrooms. Both were delicious! The pizza has a good amount of toppings and a delicious house made crust. Liked being able to see the pizza oven going in the back, the place was clean and beach themed. I thought the atmosphere was a bit too dark. I like moody, but I gotta be able to read a menu and see where I'm stepping. Highly recommend! Great local place, we will be back!

Excellent pizza. I generally don't buy cheese pizza, (imo, it's the lesser of all pizzas/picky kid food, no offense, just bear with me) but this place has the best cheese pizza I have ever eaten, and will gladly purchase many, many times in the future! The combination of cheeses on their pie is so flavorful and dynamic, they've made me like and enjoy cheese pizza. I'll be back for another one soon.

Ordered a pizza with meatballs. The pizza came to me with Italian Sausage all over it. The cook took it upon themselves to substitute as they were out of meatballs. Ruined our date night. The waitress was very cordial however this is probably the last time we will ever visit.

The food and service here was great - but I am posting on here to mention that the quality of the management was what impressed us most. Our kid injured himself while at this restaurant (kid being a kid) - and the management was very responsive, kind, and helpful. We aren't local, but we will be sure to frequent this restaurant when in town.

Great pizza joint and local bar, the food was amazing - super fresh and quickly served. We tried the garlic breaded fried mushrooms with ranch (bomb) and the chicken bacon ranch with broccoli pizza. You definitely get more than you'll need. So enjoy the place and ask for your leftover pizza to go! 🍕 🍕 🍕

Wave Pizza is always great. If you like onion chips, get them with the raspberry sauce. It's an awesome dip.

Everything was terrible. Had to wait 25 minutes to get drinks which tasted off. Food took about 30 minutes which was cold and barely edible. Would highly not recommend.

What a cool place. I'm here on business, originally from Orange County, CA. So as you can imagine, I was attracted to the menu immediately. The gals that were working there were super nice and the food was great. Their poppers remind of Jack In The Box poppers which I love. I'm happy and will be coming back until my oil project ends. Very cool place! Who would have ever thought a place like this would exist in GI, Nebraska? Certainly not I.

After 13 hours in the car we were able to track down Wave Pizza and it was the therapy we needed. The atmosphere is incredibly memorable. The pizza is incredible. We were admittedly famished but I don't know if I'd have left as happy as I was had it not been for the insanely good pizza. A must if you're in the area or driving through.

Busy or not this will always be a fav. However be prepared to wait.. 9/1/23 update: it's just not the same. Heart broken.

Unique pizzerias are often must haves in some communities. People all over Chicago tell you about their favorite deep dish place. People from New York constantly ask, "Have you tried a pie yet?" Heck, it's so common, Little Ceasars made up that their pizza is Detroit style. This place is that for Grand Island. Unique flavors, great sides, a theme very unique and uncommon. It's a must visit and you'll come back for more.

great place for gluten free pizza. my mom has Celiac's and it's hard to find a good pizza or pasta place that can be trusted to take the correct precautions when preparing the food, so it's a go to choice for us.

All around experience, very good

Our long board was great, but the jalapeno poppers with the raspberry jelly is the best! I would stop, but the spicy Dorothy Lynch wings were dynamite as well. Group of six guys and a table full of appetizers. Top notch and service was fantastic, came in late after the rodeo and they welcomed us in and stayed open to serve us. Kudos to you Wave!

Been here over an hour and just got my appetizer, table next to me came in after I ordered and got their appetizer and have eaten their CB pizza and I just now got my appetizer

We love the salt creek pizza and cheese bread sticks. They say they are adding new items to the menu soon. Can't wait!

Did a to-go order for wings and pizza. Ended up liking the wings more than the pizza.

There were 11 of us on our way to the pumpkin patch and we decided to have lunch at waves. We attempted to pull tables together in the outside patio so we could all sit together and the waitress said that the fire marshal wouldn’t allow it which we know for a fact is not true. The waitress did not write down our order and messed up one person’s order two times. We felt very unwelcome there and probably won’t go back.

Cool place but terrible service, had to finally ask to be waited on. Horrible manners and was slow. Rude waitress that only wanted to play games and had to be convinced to take our order. Pizza was good but would recommend only getting take out from here. Very greasy also.

First time I came here, I enjoyed it. A couple of times after that, food and service went downhill. Pizza has gotten overly greasy and ingredients taste cheap. Decided to give it just one last shot and we were greeted with a rude employee/manager/owner telling us it is getting close to lunch time and we could not stay. This was after we entered the UNLOCKED door. It was probably around 1:30 P.M. at this time.

This place is kitschy, filled with surfer stuff. They offer 2 sizes of pizza, little and very big, hard for a couple who were traveling and couldn’t take the leftovers. Our server was great, she kept us informed on our order and unfortunately, the kitchen lost it. She offered a discount and got it out as soon as it was done. Both types were very good, piping hot and lots of cheese! Beer selection is limited and I don’t think they have cocktails.

Service was okay but I guess we have to get use that almost everywhere. Limited parking options. There were only 2 other tables with people ordering food and we waited 45 minutes for our pizza. Pizza was good. Fun atmosphere.

Wish I would have just tried the pizza. I've heard its really awesome. I chose wings because my table was all having wings. And the wings were great as far as perfect heat, big solid pieces but totally ruined with salt overkill. Hopefully, that was a one time thing. I will try them again but if that's the normal salt intake with their meals then I will definitely opt out after that. Atmosphere is laid back. Normal for that type of establishment mid afternoon. Just really wish I had tried the pizza instead!! Darn it!! Next time!!

2 stars instead of 1 for the lady telling the truth about closing an hour early. She said she wants to go home bc she's "been here since open today"..... Kinda ruined my evening.

I would strongly recommend for you to remove your option to order online if your store is closed. Or update your hours. It is pathetic that you accept the payment when your store is closed.

Poor food. Very poor customer service. Was told wait time was 30 min. We ended up waiting 1.5 hours and we still did not have our food. Saw two tables send their food back to the kitchen while we waited. Asked waitress to comp our drinks and she scoffed at us.

I always used to order the salt creek pizza but it just doesn't taste the same anymore since they removed the pizza stone oven. Staff was kinda non engaging as well.

The quality of the food at Wave is great, but both times I've been the service wasn't great. There were 4 tables when I got there, and 4 wait staff that we could see and I sat and waited for 15 minutes before even being asked about drinks. When I ordered, I ordered gluten free. I said it twice because I have an allergy. When the pizza came out, it was not gluten free. When I asked the waitress, she rolled her eyes and said she would check. The chef shook his head no, that it wasn't gluten free. This could have ended really badly if I hadn't payed attention to the crust of the pizza.

The last time we ordered, I placed the order with lead time of 30-45 minutes online for pickup. After it was submitted, the estimated time moved to almost 2 hours. When we tried calling to inquire - the phone was off the hook? I hope they can find some great staff, this place is awesome.

Need to take it easy on the oil pizza box was soaked had to throw leftovers away really soggy and flimsy I except that from dominoes and pizza hut but you guys are better than that usually I get nice crispy chewy pizza from you but last two times have been like this otherwise pizza ingredients were quality and good 👍

So many types of pizza made where you can see it. A large feeds a group of 3 easily. So many choices in toppings.

This is a neat place to visit. They put some effort into creating a unique atmosphere related to the beach. We enjoyed our pizza. It was slightly greasy, but meat pizzas can be that way. Like most places right now, they are under-staffed. In spite of that, they made sure to keep our drinks full and were friendly. I will visit again if I have the chance.

The bread sticks are really good. Nice chill pizza spot. We had the cheese and the "Hawaiian". Both were very cheesy so if that's your thing get it normal. We also got a light cheese pizza and it was a more normal amount of cheese. Everything was tasty and service was prompt even though our party was 14 people.

They'll make darn near anything they got the toppings for! Cooks are very accommodating with requests.

The pizza was good. I can't remember the menu name but it was a grilled chicken with jalapeños. Delicious and you can taste the chicken flavor and the jalapeños are warm/spicy

This is such a funny weird place. Really enjoy the salt shaker story (I relzin d doubtful). The pizza are delicious, the sandwiches are ok (a little disappointed by the bread, i had hope more home made than store style bun). Service is good, but a little slow (they are training so understandable). It took 45 min to get our Pizzas... And we were one of the only two parties there (however we saw a few people picking up order). To be fair it is a low five stars.

Most recent dine-in, almost every table was dirty, covered with dirty plates, half eaten pizzas, beer bottles and drink cups. We sat at the one table that appeared cleaned but even that table was even used to set empty beer bottles on when other tables needed more room. It just felt like there could not be a reason for any dining room to look like that. It was an early lunch, so possibly the mess was from the night before. If so, the woman working could have attempted to clean up even if she knew it was to be blamed on someone else. Maintaining a presentable dining room should be a priority. I love the place so I gave it a three stars. We haven’t been back since, i hope that was just a one time thing.

While traveling, my son & I ended up at Wave for dinner. We decided to try a small pizza (meat lovers), wings (Cajun Ranch) & mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were just that - thinner and longer and exactly what you'd expect. The wings were boneless and were solid - they came out really hot and we had to let them cool before we could eat (one downside - they offer 6 or 12 wings...but boneless was only offered with 12). The pizza was also incredibly hot and had a weird flavor - something wasn't right. It was my son's idea to get the pizza and he wasn't interested in having a second bite (not slice, bite). Really disappointing and the restaurant had a weird smell - not sure if it was stale cigarettes or what. Even if we were ever in this town again, we wouldn't be back.

Good food. But noticed the waitress walked out and then came back in with a to go package from the restaurant next door.she said after working there for fourteen years. She enjoyed food from other places. Well whatever I still liked the food.

Has a pretty wide variety menu. We stuck with the pizza. Had a cajun and a margarita. Good crust, sauce, flavors. Regular pizza is good size. Have a ton of options for toppings and can do small personal pizza. Great atmosphere if you are in the area.

Fast and delicious! Lots of choices for toppings in build your own pizza. Fresh meats and vegetables with tender crust! Wow!

This place is fantastic. I recently ordered from here and had put the wrong address in my order. Not only did they bring it to the correct address but then apologized for the delay. (That was caused by my mistake) the food is delicious. I typically order the same thing from restaurants but with wave I switch it up and am never disappointed with the flavor. I will continue to order!

Some of the best pizza around, with a very unique atmosphere and friendly staff!! Just look for the large shark on the front of the restaurant!

Awesome spicy bloody Marys!! Just what we needed on a Sunday morning!! Pizza was delicious. Philly was ok.. kind of bland.. but still good! Love the beach theme. The waitress was by herself and handle it very well bartending and serving! I was impressed! Definitely one of my local favorites.

I had gone there with some friends. My friends ordered burgers and I ordered a pizza. It was a slow night, so you would think we would get our food right away. ended up waiting for our food for 40 minutes. and 1 of my friends got the wrong thing. instead of a burger, he got a pizza. so he ended up waiting another 30 minutes. what a joke. no wonder i have only been there twice

They were very busy and only 1 waitress/waiter for the whole business. The pizza is the best in Grand Island!
