We've eaten at Westlake (aka Red Roof) since moving to Denver ten years ago. We bring all family and friends when we have guests from out of town. We love it and they love it! My son and I ate there yesterday. We love breakfast for lunch! I love a family style restaurant! I want to support the locals as much as possible! Thanks for the great service and delicious food! Good affordable food with friendly service.

Quaint little diner. The service was great, the food was decent and it was very reasonably priced. Closes at 2pm so gotta get they early! Can't wait to go back to try bunch, my favorite type of meal.

I had high hopes because the parking lot was full. I think it’s ok quick food. I asked for my eggs scrambled with cheese. I got more like an omelette with sliced cheese laid over it. It wasn’t for me. The service was really good though.

We love Westlake! Just good homemade food, always cooked to order and good. Always a lot of patrons, but without that "overcrowded" feeling. Consistent food with visits, over an 8 year span for us. Great waitresses as well, all of the staff is friendly and inviting. Great sized portions for the price too,my husband always leaves full!! 🤣🤣 we recommend!!

The breakfast i had was the most perfectly cooked meal I've had in a long time. REAL bacon, large eggs, biscuits and gravy with chunks of sausage. The biscuits were soft, fluffy and perfectly made. Coming back for sure!

Great place please to meet such nice people food look smell amazing and had two amazing omelettes missing mushrooms, but the owner offered to get our order fixed so we shall see tomorrow how delicious the omelette is with the mushrooms. We are from out of town and looked up places for breakfast. The place has a, and I say this lovingly, hole-in-the-wall feel yet with a selection I would associate with something much more expensive. Yes, they have beloved livermush, but they have feta cheese as an option for omelettes! The sandwich options were brioche or kaiser, not white or wheat loaf bread. They have all kinds of fresh baked breads from a bakery they partner with, if I understood that correctly. I got a hash brown skillet with sausage gravy and it was unbelievable! I got full and took half home! Wait staff was nice and efficient! Can't wait for a reason to go back!

It is a typical family restaurant. The food is good, not great and the portions are normal. I don't know where some people say they are huge, maybe they are "regulars" and get bigger portions. Our server took our order, brought our food and never came back. I had to stop her to ask for more water, while everyone else got a small pitcher of whatever they were drinking, we did not (regulars I guess). The prices are a couple dollars higher than other family restaurants in the area. We will not be back.

Great Place for Breakfast! We were seated after a short wait, 10AM on a Sunday Morning. Food was tasty, hot & served in generous portions! Atmosphere was cozy, relaxed & home like. Our server was friendly, prompt & professional attending to the smaller detail! Would visit again!

Wonderful breakfast!!!! Every part of the breakfast was great, and the sausage patties were so good I had to get an order to go. Strongly recommended, no matter how far you have to drive to get here.

This place is your good old fashion american/southern diner/restaurant for comfort food. Food is good and Portions are huge. You alot of food for the price. If you're really hungry and looking for comfortable then stop by this place.

We have always loved Westlake Restaurants! The food always comes out hot and cooked to order. The service is absolutely amazing, even when they are packed and have many people waiting to be seated. They never rush to get you out. The employees are very friendly and treat everyone like family. That says a lot in this day and age. The atmosphere is always comfortable and relaxing.

Local joint. Usually very busy which is a good sign. No thrills, pretty good food. More of a 3.5 star kind of place as nothing really stands out. If you are looking for that home style/ diner food this is a good choice. It can get pretty loud and congested. Check the hours as the are not open in the evening.

First time eating at this restaurant. We didn't realize they were getting ready to close, but they were fine with our late arrival. We had the baby back ribs with a dry rub. They were EXCELLENT!! BEST RIBS WE'VE EVER HAD I totally suggest you try this place. We won't eat ribs anywhere else from now on.

One of the few Denver restaurants that opens early. Diner feel with mostly booth seating. Breakfast was served fast, with decent coffee. Guy in booth next to us talked loud on cell phone for 45 minutes... we found that a bit annoying and selfish.

My sister and I ate here today, first time ever. We arrived just before closing, and we're welcomed by very friendly employees. They didn't care we got there late, and we really appreciate that. We each had a whole rack of ribs. They were the best ribs I have ever had. They were perfectly seasoned, a little crunchy on the outside, moist and tender inside. The place was clean. Employees friendly. We spent the morning going to yard sales, and were so hungry. This place hit the spot. We will definitely go back. If you've never been there, you are missing out. Loved it.

My mother is a regular there and I can see why! So many choices and the waitresses are so personable and take care of you. I definitely suggest their Patty melt sandwich, so delicious! They're a staple in Denver for a reason.

I have eaten here quite a few times. It's your typical down-home family style restaurant in appearance. We usually go here for breakfast and in my opinion, they have the best biscuits and gravy in town! The gals on the waitstaff are always so good to my dad and I as we tend to stay awhile and catch up. They've never rushed us and always made us feel at home! If you're in Denver, stop by and see for yourself. I hope your experience will be as good as mine has been!

Great family friendly food and dining. I was there for breakfast with my family. We got the mom special and pop special. Eggs choice of meat and either French toast or pancakes. Both very good and affordable prices.

My wife and I ate there yesterday morning (March 21, 2023). We had just finished working out at Sallie’s YMCA and were looking for a place to get brunch. We stopped at Westlake Family restaurant and our waitress brought menus and coffee, quickly. The breakfast menu is extensive but we were both intrigued by the Greek omelet; spinach, feta, cheese, and gyro meat. And it was the BEST Greek omelet that either of us has had in the Charlotte area. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very laid back, very quiet….its easy to talk to people at your table. As we were sitting there finishing breakfast, the lunch specials menu board went up and it was equally appealing. We recommend Westlake Family restaurant in Denver, NC for breakfast or lunch!

Hashbrowns were Crispy as I had ordered them to be.

New menu items have added to the enjoyment of eating Breakfast and Lunch. Same great service and reasonable prices.

Feta and tomato omelette was ok. Not even tomato or cheese in the omelette. Husband had Breakfast Burrito which was delicious. Will go back again.

Been here many times. It's usually busy (which is a good sign) but they are good at getting you seated and fed in a reasonable time.

Such an amazing experience as it always is. Servers were on top of things, I love the drink pitchers they bring every person at the table so you never run out, the food is amazing and the people are so friendly and nice. I have the country fried steak and my wife had the chicken tender wrap… both were great! A must try if you are over in Denver!

We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed it very much. Someone was always refilling our coffee and checking on us. Food was served hot, which we loved. The menu was extensive and inviting. Everything tasted great. It was a very nice experience to have a tasy breakfast for a reasonable price.
