This place has a calm and chill atmosphere that is welcoming everytime. Tanner is an amazing and friendly guy that goes above and beyond. Great conversation and gives delicious drink recommendations! Highly recommend!

What a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! The comedy showcases once a month are professional and very enjoyable! So many different things to do each night there it seems. Prices aren’t ’downtown prices’ neither!👍

I did not eat. Cool bar spot to hang out and have a few, I came here for a comedy showcase. Parking in this area can be a challenge though.

I always have a fun time when I come in. Lots IPAs and Sours on tap and cans. There’s a bit of everything for everyone which I love. If you see Constanza or Raul behind the bar, just know you’ll have an amazing time! Great management too! Joyce, the bar manager, has so much knowledge and she can talk about anything! You can absolutely tell hospitality is their priority!

Great hidden gem in the Milk District. Only happened to stop by as I saw some people walking in. Would of loved if they had more food offerings, yet the addition of a food truck was great. Had Raul as my bartender. Charismatic, energetic, and a down to earth guy. Definitely a change of pace from any other venue. He actually talks to you and is genuinely interested in having a conversation. Would 130% recommend this place to my friends, and you hot a customer for as long as you stay open. That is if the service is up to this lvl.

LOVE the is place! My first experience at Whippoorwill was to meet up with a friend and to my surprise it’s a sweet gem. If you are looking for a place with a good vibe, nice interior with great music and a good glass of wine, this is where you want to go. Great place to work remotely out of too!

One of my favorite spots in town with a great selection of beers and wine. Hard to go wrong. Bartenders are always friendly and helpful. I try to come as often as I can. Can’t recommend enough!

I used to love coming to Whippoorwill. It had a chill atmosphere, the bartenders were cool, and it was a nice place to come and destress after work. In my most recent visit, the vibe was VERY different than what I was accustomed to. I came with 2 other people and we had each ordered an IPA from two women that I hadn't seen before behind the bar. They were tripping over each other, talking over each other, and both attempting to take all 3 of our orders at the same time. When we told them what beers we wanted, they asked us to tell them what number on the menu it was then proceeded to ask us to repeat ourselves multiple times while running back and forth to the taps, grabbing random glasses, then forgetting our number and asking us again. After a few attempts of this, they still brought us completely different beers than what we had ordered. My friend was even given a stout instead of an IPA. We did not correct them, as we were already pretty stressed with the hassle of ordering the first time around. Once we got our beers, they kept asking us it we wanted to try any samples of anything on the menu, which I thought was a little weird, considering that I already had a drink in our hand. We ended up moving to a table across the room because the two of them stressed us out so much. Again, I used to love the ambiance and overall vibe of this bar. However, if untrained bartenders continue to make it so impossible to order a single drink, I don't know that I will continue coming. Edit: I want to be clear that I do not know any of the bartenders personally, so I’m not entirely sure on which friend you are referring to. If the new bartender has been working for 20 years then they should know how to pour a beer and take a simple order. I actually had left this review a few weeks ago on yelp but it appears to have been deleted, which is the only reason why I felt the need to additionally post this to google. I find this response to be extremely unprofessional

I have no idea what the new owners of this place are thinking (probably they are not thinking at all) but they bought a place with a pre-existing staff and customer base, decided they don’t understand what a bottle shop is and proceeded to do everything to run it into the ground. The old bartenders have all left and have been replaced with the new owners nieces and nephews, or whatever relative they decided to hire, who in fact do not even know how to bartend. In addition the previously bartender-curated playlists that would play have seem to be replaced with internet radio - WITH ADS! Ignore the older reviews for this place. While they were once accurate it is unfortunately not the case. Take your business elsewhere.

My favorite beer bar in Orlando, Hannah has been showing excellent service since the first time I came here in 2020 and is the reason I keep coming back

Cool place with weird vibes ! The actual place is really nice it has a lot of room but I’ve gone twice and something doesn’t add up I don’t know if because music or the vibes I don’t know this place needs more happiness imo you’re paying 6-9$for a beer not to be depressed

Great place to get great craft beers.

Went in to get a beer during not so busy hours with my dog. Been here several times before with the same dog as I was told they are dog friendly and were very welcoming before. This time soon as I go in I was told they have have a "three bark rule" before you have to go outside. My dog gets excited seeing new people, so she whined, twice. Then I was told to please go outside before I could even order by the bartender, all in a fake polite manner. I still bought the beer. Should've left without buying anything.

A place you can chill, work, drink coffee or beer. Very friendly staff and awesome atmosphere.

For the blind/visually impaired: Large open space, clear lanes to walk between tables. Bar is to your immediate left. No stairs or elevation changes inside. Initially, I couldn’t find the bar, but after asking an employee, he saw the cane and got the picture. Staff was helpful and read out the menu, helped with the door on the way out. Particularly appreciated the help of Tanner and Dan.

Funky, sort of hidden spot for beer, wine and food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Had three 5 oz pours of some good beer including Calaca, a Mexican lager, a delightful surprise. Worth checking out if near the Milk District.

THIS is my favorite place to just chill and have a beer. The space is nicely designed if a little minimalist. Everyone who's ever waited on me at the bar has been friendly and so very chill. Great selection on draft... They offer different pour sizes so you can try a few without having to drink a whole beer. They also have several large coolers with cans so you can choose from there as well. You can also buy from the cooler and take it with you. I think they should change the name of the place to WhipporCHILL.

Clean and friendly. Great place to work remote with coffee on one side and beer on the other. The To-go beers were expensive.

I came here for the PB&J. I’m not really an “open face” sandwich guy but this was worth it. The mess I made all over my face was also worth it. Side note, the toilets match the tile. Pretty impressive.

Cool place to hang out and grab a beer or a coffee (1 place with 2 concepts). Great selection of beers on tap and a ton in cans. Inside and outside seating.

Was recommended to stop by this place on a Sunday, before football got started. Was very impressed with a number of things. Love the Decour, and the way the bar was laid out. Be sure to look around and pay attention to what you see. Beer selection on tap as well as the package store was very nice. They also have a really cool coffee spot as well. The name of the bar comes for a few different things, but the most interesting was the owners appreciation for a song by hank Williams. Look closely enough, you can even see the lyrics on the bottom side of the bar. Great place to stop grab a cuppa coffee open up the laptop, and then grab a beer, and write your next great novel.

Great spot for conversation with friends. Unpretentious, consistent, kind. We love to come here. A place that really makes me like Orlando more.

Chill place for a beer and some food truck eats. The Sri Lankan food truck was amazing! Just the right amount of spice and flavor to go with a cold beer on tap. Highly recommend this place for a casual hang.
