Stopped in here to get some coffee and a quick bite to eat. The coffee here was excellent, along with the breakfast sandwiches we grabbed. Such a nice little shop!

This place is great! Friendly, welcoming, comfortable atmosphere and seating, yummy food (breakfast and lunch) and really good coffee drinks! Oh...and, open early! "Always open before the first boat" : ) Oh, and fun candy selection for the kids.

Smoked Salmon Sammie is amazing. I didn’t realize it had egg until after ordering. Wasn’t sure I would like it, and it’s SO GOOD.

An amazing little local coffee house on the island. Amazing coffee, great staff and service, and open during the off season. They also have a little candy shoppe in the back, and cold treats during the summer.

Had a winter visit gave them 4 stars for just being open during the winter months. I am sure it's a much more exciting place in the tourists months. My wife and I had egg sandwiches and a coffee. Food and coffee was good. Thank you for being open during the winter.

Wisco is favorite cafe in America, and I've been going to cafes since 1980, in Berkeley, at the same time the founders of Starbuck's worked at Peet's. Yet the coffee at Wisco is better than anything l remember from my days at Cal, and I went to all of them, except Peet's. And I've been to cafes all over America, and also Paris, ever since 1980. (Regarding Peet's in 1981 . . . Why, I thought, would anyone go into that place. Turns out they had good coffee. The guys who worked there and left for Seattle later, and imitated the Peet's coffee, succeeded with Starbucks, because they simply designed a nice atmosphere for their first cafe, one in Seattle, similar to all the other Berkeley cafes.) I am fine with Starbucks and Peet's, it is good, but if you want something far better, go to Wisco. Wisco is beyond good. And it is lit by a skylight. And it has a fireplace. If you go to that pretty island, don't miss out. And no, I don't work for Wisco. I met the owner of Wisco for the first time yesterday.

Couldn't find a decent cup of coffee or a place to have breakfast on the island. Saw somebody standing out with a big old copy in front of this wisco guessed it was a coffee place. Been open a year or so I guess. Cute! Inside mix of candy, coffee and wrapped aluminum foil pre-made sandwiches. I took a pass. I didn't think the gas station presentation of pre-made sandwiches is my cup of tea. It's not hard to buy a panini machine and just toast an egg sandwich up but that's for another day. The coffee was so so I can't tell if it's the terrible water on island the limestone aquifers it comes from or the grind of coffee that these places have? My cinnamon roll was covered with a cream cheese topping kind of different. When I asked if it could be warmed up. I see why they politely refuse to do so, but maybe they should try a classic take on a cinnamon roll with a sugar frosting but I'm not running the place!

Wow!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful even when we came in shortly before closing. The drinks were great and the almond pastry was amazing!! I will dream of more. They also kindly offered to send me a penny once the press is fixed if I mail them my info/ change. Thanks so much!

Great place for coffee and more

Ordered two breakfast egg and cheese sandwiches with bacon. We were hiking at Rock island so I planned on eating the 2nd there for lunch. But NO need I was extremely satisfied with my first one. Did the whole island hike 5 miles with not an inkling or hunger. Ended up eating the sandwich a few days later. Warmed in my micro and the bread is still soft and pillowy! GF bread is notoriously dry and this exceeded my expectations. Even non dietary restricted persons would HIGHLY enjoy this offering. Bravo. Hope the recipe lives forever. I NEED this in my life. I'm in awe!

Quick service with really good chai and good gelato. Will make sure we go back!

The honey latte was great! I love that they have gluten friendly options for pastries.

Pastries were pretty good, but the coffee I ordered which was a tiramisu latte wasn't drinkable as the milk added to my beverage went sour aka wasn't fresh.

Still a work in progress, but has potential. Upon entry, you are greeted with the sensational smell of fresh ground quality coffee.

Love the coffee and people here

Maybe we caught them on a bad day? Our breakfast sandwiches were inedible. We got there around 9:30, they shared they were out of bread already but had gluten free English muffins (we eat gluten free bread too so it wasn’t a big deal). What they use for gf English muffins was the literal consistency of crumbely cardboard. The egg seemed microwaved and just bleh. The coffee was great, thankfully but we won’t be back.

Great sandwich options. The smell of coffee first thing in the morning is my favorite! The staff is friendly and they always have trivia!

Great coffee and amazing door county hand pie. They sell Sweet Farms honey which is excellent. The sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches are a bit bready but still good.

Always make a couple stops here during our stay on Washington Island. Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches & pastry’s. The chocolate lavender scones & cherry hand pies are AMAZING!!! Everything they make is from scratch and it’s not hard to tell how much they care about what they serve.

Good selection and friendly service. They even have a cool candy store for the kids!

Great coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches!

This place has great coffee and breakfast food but it has more than that. There's quite a few candy and chocolate choices. They have a relaxing seating area to drink your beverages. They also open at 6am so you can grab something to go on the way to the ferry.

Great coffee and strawberry iced tea!

This is a must on Washington Island for us! We loved their coffee, sorbetto, and vegan breakfast wrap. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend trying their Old Fashion Latte. They also had smoothies, teas, pastries, and even candy by the pound. Really appreciate the dairy-free, Gluten-free and Vegan options.

The coffee beverages were all good amd the perfect temp to drink. This is my #1 complaint with most local coffee shops is I have to wait 20 min to actually drink the coffee but Wos-Co was ready for me immediately. The flavors were great - had a Mountain Hiney and a S'mores. Now let's chat about the cinnamon rolls.....holy cow!! Delicious! Could only make it better if they were warmed up. Same goes for most of the bakery items but the taste was perfection. But even not warmmed that ooey-gooey goodness was killer! My daughter loved the cherry hand pie so much she got it the second time we came by too. YUM! The only think we weren't a fan of was the breakfast sandwiches. The chibatta style bread was really tough and dry, the egg was super thin, but the sausage was nice!

I’m not much for leaving reviews, but this cinnamon roll is definitely in my top 5 of all time. Sorry no pics…we ate it too fast!

There signature drink, the Old Fashioned Latte, is worth coming here to order. It's so good! Amazing!

Boba tea is not great. Neither were the breakfast sandwiches
