We came for sushi and left happy, the hibachi is good also!

I travel around the world for my job helping restaurants and chefs create menus and great experiences, and every once in a while I come across a place that just does the right way.. the food is great and service is awesome. Always come here for sushi from now on.

Nice place. Flavorful rolls. And they've got to take on the lobster roll which is unique so far in my forays. Very nice very flavorful. And the Curious Thing is, the Miso ginger salad taste better there than any other place I've had it

The food was good. But not great! I've eaten sushi 🍣 everywhere it's not traditional, Not my favorite in the area!

The sushi here is amazing, the ‘super crunchy’ roll is the best sushi roll I have ever had. The service was great, sushi was phenomenal, prepared right in front of you and the place also has a very homey atmosphere to it as well. The staff are also very sweet and kind too.

I had one of their sashimi bowls and it was a great choice! One of the biggest portions of sashimi I ever had in a restaurant, definitely a go to place for good food.

Our go-to spot for sushi!! You can easily order online and pick up or have it delivered via Uber eats, doordash, etc. Food is ready in about 20-30 minutes, which is phenomenal! My only suggestion would be to add a little more Wasabi for those ordering a lot of sushi 😋

Came out to try Yama-Taiyo tonight, due to a few recommendations from family, and I love this place. The food is top notch. Excellent sushi quality. The sashimi I had here is probably the best I've had in the area. My sons Tempura was delicious and so was My wife's Chicken Teriyaki. The staff are such nice people, and you can tell they care about the customers. On top of the excellent food and service, the owner gave my son a stuffed Pikachu. It made our whole night. We will be back!!

Sushi was average, nothing really tasty. Tempura was good.

When I go out to eat, I want to get what I get here everytime. That is good, quality food, with matching service. We have been customers here for at least 10 years, and have tried other sushi restaurants as well thru the years. For us, we have not found the same quality of service and food as Yama Taiyo. Thank you for being so welcoming and delicious.

This is my favorite sushi place in palm harbor. They have amazing waiters that are very friendly. The fried rice is amazing as well as the sushi.

The highlight of my takeout experience was the teriyaki chicken, which was nothing short of spectacular. Even after the journey home, the chicken retained its juiciness and tenderness. The teriyaki sauce was a masterpiece - a perfect balance of sweet and savory with a delicate smokiness that enhanced the flavor of the chicken without overwhelming it. It’s clear that they use high-quality ingredients, and the care they put into their cooking shines through in every bite.

The spicy tuna nachos are SO GOOD. It’s definitely not what you think, it’s better. I’ve been ordering sushi from this restaurant for years and I’m never disappointed.

I've been coming here for many years. The sushi is always fresh, service is fast and the lunch deals are excellent. The signature rolls are very good and they have a wide variety of different food if you're not into sushi. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

The miso soup was incredible. The fried tofu is crunchy on the outside and impossibly soft inside. Great quality sushi, nice presentation. Will definitely be coming back.

Very tasty, the Lobster roll is unique, warms and delicious. The Rainbow and Spider rolls are excellent as well. Not a waste of time like some other places. Very nice.

New to the area. Haven't had goid sushi like this in years!! Fresh fresh delicious tuna!! My hubby got the combo chicken and shrimp hibachi because he doesn't like sushi.. it was fantastic!! We are going back.. they do alot of take out!! Total yum!!
