Always good!! Was there with a group of friends for the barbecue festival which was a total let down. But cider and ice cream from Yates always a win-win!!

Though they don't offer the hard cider that I was looking for, this bar is charming and cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere perfect for relaxing. Its intimate setting and friendly service make it a delightful spot to unwind.

I want to personally thank the 2 ladies that were working tonight 7/3. They were getting ready to close when my husband and I stopped by. We stopped in to get some donuts and cider since they would be closed the next day. It was free donut Wednesday. So I kiddingly said to my husband he could buy me a free donut for our anniversary. These ladies gave us a gift of free donuts 🍩 as a gift. I don't know if they knew how much that meant and their kindness did not go unnoticed and we will certainly pay it forward. Those donuts were for my parents after my dad was injured and spent the day in the ER. We were going to surprise them in the morning. There are great and caring people in the world and they need to be recognized.

They don’t have any cider donuts, just plain cake donuts that taste like chemicals. Perhaps it’s out of season

Nice decor. There is not enough room for seating. Incoming customers only makes things that much harder for folks in line. Needs some improvements but nice experience overall.

It's expensive and not that good of food it's overpriced walmart caned and frozen food, but the cider slushy is good, and there are nice people

YATES has the BEST Hard-Ice-Cream in Lake Orion, my family is lucky to be able to bike-ride here to burn those calories. We LOVE the coffee & donuts, cider, many unique food items honey, pretzels, jams. HINT: Ask for a Harry Potter BUTTERBEER shake... no, its not as good as the ones at Universal but wowzer,,, its good enough to fill your craving until your next trip to FL

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while checking out the Halloween displays at Canterbury Village. Donuts are soft and cider is delicious. Love that you can buy a mini 1 quart size cider jug. This is the perfect size for two people to share. Also tried the cherry and raspberry hand pies. They were good but crust to filling ratio could’ve leaned more on the filling side. The only star I took off is for the service. It wasn’t super busy but the girl who helped us at the counter obviously didn’t want to be there to wait on us.

Yates has the best cider and doughnuts around. Period. There are no contenders.

The Cidermill has great cider and donuts as well as many Michigan specialties, but the real highlight is to visit during Halloween

Yates is hands down the best doughnuts and cider around, and it’s really nice to have a place closer and less busy but still get all the best! Both times I’ve been they had warm doughnuts and everything perfect. Love them!

I think Yates will always be my favorite cider. We chose this location as a quick stop in to buy some favorites for the family. The original location is also a great place to go for a fall walk.

Very nice place located beside/inside Canterbury village. Very Cafe-like interior with low lighting and comfortable seating. The cinnamon sugar donuts come served warm, and there is an option to get cooled or hot cider. There are other menu items such as a personal apple cobbler, tea, and other sweets. Went in early September, it was nice to walk around the village whilst snacking on sweets. Good date idea/location.

This definitely should be one of your destinations this time of year to shake off the winter blues as you enjoy cold apple cider with cinnamon donuts at Canterbury village. Hip hip hooray.l

We went to Dino exhibit. It was tired. Some were well worn. Not worth the 30 dollar ticket. They charge for little ones too.

Excited to try some T.O.E jam! Always love going to Yates for the donuts and preserves. Hands down one of the best cider mills in MI and being connected to Canterbury Village is also a plus!!

The fresh cider and donuts! The atmosphere! The decorations! The little shops to visit! Yate's is a wonderful Cider Mill and it serves as host to many wonderful events for the area. No matter what time of year it is, Yate's works diligently to provide a beautiful and safe space for people and families to enjoy themselves and have fun in. I would highly recommend visiting during the fall, but there's always something cool to see or do here no matter what time of year it is. Especially considering the cider and donuts are available year round, it's worth stopping by.
