I was addicted to their gyros, sometimes stopping by twice a week. What happened? I hope this closure is temporary.

Lettuce pieces were too big, pita was too big for the amount of chicken. Flavor of the chicken was good though

We have been waiting to try Yanni’s in Fleming Island. It’s rare to get authentic ethnic foods in FI so we were very excited to try it. Sadly, just not worth it. We had 2 salads and iced tea for lunch. The salad base was romaine lettuce, half a tomato, 3 kalamata olives, a teaspoon of feta with olive oil. One had 2 lamb chops for $21.00. For a LUNCH salad. The other was the same salad base minus one olive (lol) and added old crispy lamb gyro strips (like 2 bacon slices worth) for an extra $5 bucks. Total cost was $15.50. The gyro was definitely not fresh today. Total for 2 lunch salads was $36.50. Totally ridiculous. I doubt I will be back after paying that stupid high price for what we received. I’ll go to Greece. It will be cheaper!

The gyros are delicious! Although the side of seafood pasta salad was good it was small kinda pricey for $4.

Small local spot. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was awesome. Not the cheapest by any means but definitely not overpriced. A must try for a gyro

I first became a fan of this restaurant when they showed up with their food truck outside my work at lunch time on NAS JAX. I tried their gyros once, twice with the seafood salad, and a third time again. And then I bought their food again three times afterwards from their restaurantin in Fleming Island. Absolutely consistently great each time. The gyros are so packed with meat and flavors I honestly only eat half of it then and there and save the second half for the next day. Heat it up in the microwave and it's literally as good as it was the first day. Their seafood salad is delicious! Their baklava is a bit wetter than I've had from other places but the flavour is outstanding! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Love them! And the staff is so nice.

Great food and atmosphere. we stopped in today and enjoyed a GREAT lunch. Food was very fresh and tasted wonderful. Looking forward to returning and trying something else. Cost was very reasonable for the portions (3 people).

I've been hunting for a local place to get a good gyro. This place was recommended to me so I tried it. I was a little disappointed in the amount of meat in it. It was good though. I'll probably keep hunting.

Just WOW! We really enjoyed our dinner with the family here. Food was great, service was friendly, waitress answered our many questions about the food and history of the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back and try something new next time.

Ordered the gyro to go with side pasta salad. Gyros was covered in olive oil on the outside of the pita. Was unable to comfortably pick it up to eat. Flavor was great. Pasta needed to be cooked in SALTED WATER! Had meh flavor. Added salt, yum. No plastic utensils or napkins. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Will try again. Need to be able to pick up a sandwich without greasy fingers!!

Again, I AM NOT THE ONE TO WRITE A BAD REVIEW, EVER. Only when the food is SUB-PAR, do I write bad reviews, and Yianni's was absolutely shameful. The ambiance of the place was wonderful. The server was on point at every interval. But the food.... 1-you NEVER serve food in a restaurant out of a to-go plastic bowl. The babaganoush had been frozen, then thawed in the container, then served. It still had frozen parts in it. 2-i grew up making Mediterranean food. The gyro I was served had fresh veggies, but the lamb carvings were not worth the price. My companion has shawarma. And, while shawarma is made to be heavily spiced, this was waaaaaayyy too much. A disappointing experience. The guy in the big black boots is NOT A FAN of Yianni's.👎

Wow. Lots of food for the hungry person. The pita is like anything I have ever had. Servings are more than enough to satisfy any appetite.

Just went there for lunch for the first time. This is a wonderful hidden gem in Fleming Island and everything was delicious! Can't wait to go back and share this new favorite with everyone I know!

I go every Thursday for lunch. Food is fresh and sooooo delicious.

Overall very good. It's about time a good Greek restaurant opened in our area. The restaurant is small but has indoor and outdoor seating. Service is great and food is delicious. The pita was sooo good. My 3yr old kid said "This place is easy". We asked what she meant and she said "everything's just fast!". And she is right. Service was indeed fast.
