Took my fiancé here for her birthday we had a great time! The staffed remembered us when we came to pick up the art and made it that much easier. Will definitely be returning soon to paint some more!

This was my first time coming to this establishment. I came inside told them I had a reservation went to the lady in the back and explained I never been here. She was like oh ok just pick something out and come back we can pick out paint colors. I never felt welcomed here , the staff gives off this energy as if we are bothering them. I will say one girl did draw something for me that was the only good thing. Everything else was rude , I was not helped we bought a tea , coffee, and a snack almost $100 for three people. The cost did not add up to me all these fees they added on but at this point, I was ready to leave. This could’ve been a better experience if the staff was more friendly and helpful. I can’t express this enough, if someone never been to your business make it a point to welcome them. Explain the process , the steps luckily someone in my party been there and helped me out. Customer service is the backbone to any successful business. Update: the owner was very apologetic and provided the customer service everyone else experienced at this business. I will update my review for making things right. The owner is a prime example of why small businesses thrive! She showed compassion , empathy and acknowledged the issues. Thank you for taking time to listen to our concerns.

I love how welcoming it was when I first came here, there was so much things that intrigued me! I remember buying my bank that was a mushroom 2-3 years ago, Can’t wait to come back here again. ^^

A recommended experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were many pieces to choose from. Pricing was reasonable. We were very pleased how our selections turned out. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been meaning to come here for months, so happy we finally made it! Staff were kind and helpful, there are many items to pick from across many price points. I spent about $40 on my item, studio fee and a coffee while I painted. It was a lot of fun, I’m definitely excited to come back and paint more items!

I have been going to you do the dishes since I was a baby! I am 23 now! I have moved away for college (and have graduated) but I still make an effort to come every time I’m in town! This place lost my dog and gave it away to someone else. It had a purple collar and light brown fur with my initials on it while the one they gave me is dark brown with a red collar and the eyes are black mine isn’t. It was still fun even if I didn’t get to have my piece back that I worked hard on. They gave me a gift card for the mistake but idk if I’ll come back :(

I love this place! It's a calm environment with a large selection of pottery to paint. The staff doesn't immediately assist you for the most part, so you have to go up to them to get started. Other than that, I love this place and will be back.

I had a fantastic first time here! Everything was super easy and reasonably priced. It was an easy process and this is a great activity to unplug and be away from your phone. Super fun date activity or activity with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Fun place to spend a few hours with a friend or whomever. There are lots of choices to paint. Depending on your comfort level of creativity, you can draw your own design on the product or copy an example they have. The staff if very friendly and helpful. Give it a try!

We've been 5 or 6 times so far. Have gotten to know the owner and staff. I can say without reservation that this is a great place if you want to have some fun and let your creative side go wild! The selection of bisque objects to paint is excellent. My husband and I have been working on a set set of tableware for our house. We've also painted some gnomes and other figures. The coffee and tea bar is a really nice addition to the space. We've had a number of different coffee and tea drinks and all were delicious. Cindy and her staff are the best! They are super friendly and helpful. Also I would like to address some of the negative reviews. First, this place gets busy! There are lots of parties (birthday, team building, etc. Plan ahead and make a reservation. Although walkins are welcome, if you risk going without a reservation, don't be upset with the business, if there isn't space for you when you arrive. As far as the staff goes, they work their butts off Every time I've gone, the place has been packed. Kids all over the place, sometimes running around the studio (why are adults who brng the children not supervising them) and the staff somehow manages to keep smiling amid all the chaos. Pro tip, meet the staff, learn their names, be friendly and kind to them and you will receive that in return in abundance. The vibe, the staff, the selection, and the space make this place a must visit.

Came here for my brother's 13th birthday party, we reserved for at least 10 people for a couple hours. Then a staff comes and tells us that "oh the party after is supposed to be coming a little late, if you guys want, you can stay an hour extra." Based on that, we thought okay great because the kids are still not even close to done and we need to let their parents know. Then the owner suddenly comes and starts picking up their pieces and is asking all the kids if they're done when they should've talked to the adult who is paying the owner. Then the owner kept rushing us and the kids to pick up all their things meanwhile whoever reserved after still didn't arrive yet. So how are we supposed to manage when we already told these kids parents to arrive a bit later? Lack of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing. If we are trying to drink coffee, every single spot is reserved with other guests so we have to drink our coffee while standing up. Especially when we paid nearly $300 for the whole event. Definitely will not be coming back here.

I enjoyed this experience. I had tea (ballerina girl) instead of coffee but was delicious. So many options and price points for your pottery creation.. Staff was sweet and patient. Overall a great atmosphere and cute thing to do with girlfriends or daughters.

Boyfriend and I done date night here twice. Large selection of objects to paint. Pieces were fired quick and pickup is easy. Great place to relax and paint!

I'm quite upset with the YOU DO THE DISHES crew. They fail to keep their promises. I recently ordered a wedding sign, and when I arrived to pick it up, he/she informed me that it had been cancelled without telling me.WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS NOT INFORMING THE CUSTOMER INADVANCE if he/she will be able to make it or not.

This is a beautiful place full of cute details! It’s great for a morning/afternoon date or hanging out with friends and family. I love their drinks, I always ask for an almond milk chai ♥️ they also have baked goods, milkshakes, fruits and snacks on sale. I love the variety of pieces that they have for you to choose from budget friendly to something more pricey. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I love the tips and inspiration found all around this place. This place is really cozy and makes me feel comfortable. I’m proud of my second try at doing this

Last night was my 6th time going to “You Do the Dishes” and It definitely won’t be the last time. The atmosphere is so cozy and the employees are always the sweetest. We had Angel helping us out throughout the evening, always checking up on us and letting us know how things worked. Plus they also have a cafe with many many options to choose from! 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone!

I ordered a wedding sign a few days ago and was supposed to pick it up today, but they claimed that they had defended my money without informing me. Please leave this store immediately. It is just a group of unprofessional people, including the owner.

I can’t say enough great things about this place! Everyone is very helpful, and the atmosphere is so calming and relaxing. Not to mention their coffee bar has the best spiced chai tea!

I've been here 3 times and each time it's a great experience. The girls are sweet and explain everything perfectly. The prices are fair.

Favorite pottery painting place ever.

We had the best time making this with my boyfriend. Everyone there was so nice and helpful.

I came here to pick up some pottery my family had worked on earlier in the week. It looks like a really chill spot for people to come out and hang in a safe and friendly environment. Even later in the evening, it had a decent number of people going about their pottery painting business. They also have ice creak and I am sure beverages to choose from. Restrooms on site.

This place is amazing, and I can't speak highly enough of them! First and foremost, they have an amazing selection of pottery to paint at a variety of prices, everything from the normal (mugs and plates) to the amazing (fighter jets and llama shaped candy trays). The staff is also incredibly helpful with picking out paints and helping you achieve the look you're going for. Lastly, I had a small mishap with payment ( the card was accidentally charged twice), and the owner went above and beyond to make it right. Honestly, this is my new favorite date night spot, and I can't wait to come back again soon!

First Visit: Fun place to spend the afternoon/evening getting a drink or some ice cream and doing some painting. Second Visit: Everything was perfect again! Got a dirty vanilla iced chai latte with almond milk and it was delicious! Everyone who works here is always super nice. I look forward to my next visit!

The place is cozy and cute. I didn’t love the fact that you had to ask to be poured paint and pick colors because you would run out of paint fast and sometimes I wanted more colors selection and it seemed like the staff wasn’t very enthusiastic about me continuing to ask for colors. I haven’t gotten my piece back but I’m excited to see what it looks like. Overall I would say to give this place a try.

I went by yesterday with my mother for Mother's Day, which I had planned well in advance, and apparently you had to have a reservation, which was not posted on their website and I am assuming you would only have known if you are subscribed or frequent this establishment. I will tell you that it was extremely disappointing to go a long way to find out you needed a reservation for even 2 people. The person that greeted us did not seem apologetic at all which also added to the disappointment. I think you should post these types of events on your website for all to know. This will not keep us from returning but I felt it important that this company know. I am pretty certain more mothers were disappointed because there were others outside leaving for the same reason.

It is always so much fun at You do the dishes. You pick out your pottery, write down your colors, get your paint and then create your masterpiece. When you are done, you leave it with them, they glaze it and you pick it up in 1-2 days. I usually pay around $26 if I pick a $10 - $14 piece

Love coming here with my daughter. Perfect time painting. They have a variety of coffee drinks and tea. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is calm.

The staff here is friendly however this business is a bit disorganized. The party was 1/21/23 and no one called to let me know the items were ready 2 days later because they wrote down my phone number incorrectly. (I finally called today 2/9/23.) Prior to the party, I was told I could have bags but told no on the phone when I called today because they cost 30¢ a piece. I'm not sure which paying customers are allowed to have bags. The woman is accommodating by offering bubble wrap/plastic bags. As far as the party, it was very hands off. No one came by to talk to the kids about how to paint or give them ideas. We were also a chair short because they were so busy. However the setup was very nice, close to the door with a small seating area for the kids. The space is very cute and well-lit. They also accommodated us with a table for food, allowing us to bring in our own snacks and beverages (including alcoholic for the adults). The kids had a great time. I paid about $18-$20 per kid, which is very reasonable.

It is so much fun there and the prices are great. They have a great variety of items to paint to fit every ones budget.

Super cute store! So many painting options to choose from! The staff was super friendly and they even have an area where you can order drinks (non-alcoholic) to sip on while you paint. Our stuff was done as soon as estimated and we picked it up with no issues! Made for a super nice and relaxing date night.

THIS IS So GREAT! I got to paint something really cool using pins! The pins allow you to paint with just a tiny bit of color. The whole idea for You Do The Dishes is that you pick a cool mold and then you paint it. They also sell ice cream and other deserts. Also, if you are a coffee person, they sell coffee. If you go to their website, they have AMAZING pictures of artists painting. That could be you!

Well this place is a hidden treasure! Fun for all ages and a menu too! Ice cream, Who knew!?!? Oh yah, you get to paint your own ceramic art! I've heard about it for years but no one put it all together for me and the experience is great. Cindy ( owner) is very accommodating and I have to come back to try the menu out fully!

Three stars. -1 star for their reservation policy (or lack thereof). We were told we couldn't make a reservation for less than 4 people, only to come in yesterday and see that half of the place is reserved for groups of 2 and 4. The employees gave us varying answers such as "it depends on your reason" and "it depends on who answers the phone". -1 star for the employee dropping my painted item and breaking it the time before. There's a big variety of things to paint, but they're seemingly out of the things I want to paint pretty often. Or they have demos up of items not for sale. It's a nice place. But I'm not as big a fan as I was before.

Tons of fun, great for kids, friends, or a date. Everyone there was really helpful and the prices were reasonable too!

I cannot express how awesome this place is! We had their very first Gender Reveal hosted at their studio! All of the women involved that helped plan, reserve and execute were amazing and so kind! We even had a custom plate made to share the gender of the baby 💙. They are so accommodating and down to earth! All of the pieces were great to pick from and the painting process was so cool to! We can’t wait to pick them up when they are done. I loved their selection of drinks and snacks to! Many thanks again for a great night!

Did I have my 31st birthday party at You Do The dishes? Why yes, yes I did. Gretchen is the absolute best - give that woman a raise! 10/10 experience here! My first time coming and painting pottery here was 20ish years ago - and I love it even more now. A cosy coffee shop atmosphere to get creative and take a cool piece home! Not to mention it’s byob and we could have an adult beverage while we painted! Can’t wait to come back and finish my ceramic masterpieces!

Excellent place Exceptional staff, very friendly and helpful. The set up is great to allow for working without many distractions. They seem to have everything you need to decorate your work. They have a great amount of items to choose from to work on. This was a very positive experience for us and we will definitely come back more times to do it again A++

Came here for the first time the other day with a friend and really enjoyed my time. It’s very spacious and has a relaxing vibe, and is very cute. There is a wide selection of items to paint and the cafe has a great selection. I got a call that my item was ready 2 days later

We absolutely love coming here to paint pottery. They have a very large selection of blank pottery to choose from and a very nice lineup of paint colors and supplies. Huge bonus is the Cafe. The coffee is delicious and I look forward to an iced dirty chai every time we go! If you haven't checked those places out, I highly recommend doing so! It's a fantastic way to spend quality time together no matter what the age is!

One of my favorite places to go too! As someone who loves painting and loves a calm atmosphere, this is my go to place! All the staff are very sweet and patient with everything, especially first-timers. They have a wide selection of drinks and some snacks to order (they offer Arizona tea which is my FAVORITE and not a lot of places do sell it)! It’s a great place to go as a date night and to let your creativity out! The first time I had went, I had painted a bowl to hold crystals in and the second time I had went was to paint a food bowl for my kitty! 100% recommend to everyone!

Out of the times I’ve been here, I’ve yet to have a bad experience. The owner and every employee is so nice and helpful, and the drinks are amazing! For anyone considering bringing a date or your kids to this establishment, I can’t imagine a better place to have a relaxing and enjoyable time with those you love!!

Normally, I really enjoy coming to this establishment, but today I was very disappointment with what took place from one of their employee's while participating at a booked birthday party. Today we were invited to a kids birthday party with kids ages ranging from infant to 10 years old. During this event, an older employee, told the group of kids that other's were there painting too and they needed to keep the noise down....etc. The problem I have with this action is, their were adults/parents she should of addressed instead of a bunch of children. Plus what birthday party with kids have you ever been to that isn't full of noise and excitement. If the expectation of quietness is expected during a birthday party with kids @ You Do the Dishes, I would suggest you don't book here. Or not until they get rid of the older lady that use to work in the school cafeteria, sorry, didn't get her name. Any other time, we have always enjoyed this place. I just can't understand why an employee would approach a table full of kids and you can't make noise entertaining a birthday party. Very disappointing....

I absolutely love this place. It's so nice to come here regardless of how I'm feeling, sit down for a few hours to paint some ceramics that I think will turn out awful, then be pleasantly surprised when I pick them up a few days.

This is a very original place to go with family or friends, you can get a very special gift here, one made by your own hands for your prefered person :) RECOMMENDED

You do the dishes is an awesome place. You go in and you can choose from many different pieces of ceramics to paint. There's a fee for the painting in the studio however, that includes all of your paints your time in the studio painting and the firing in glaze that they do when you're finished. It took a few days after I painted my piece they called and told me that it was ready to pick up. That's very fast and the price is here are much lower than some other places similar in the area. They also have a great coffee bar with delicious coffee many many different kinds of lattes or cappuccinos or coffees whatever you want it's really good and it's very relaxing environment I would definitely give it a shot if you're in the area and you want something to do very relaxing and worth it.

So much fun! They have a great variety of animals, vases, and - of course - dishes for you to select from to paint. The staff are all VERY friendly and helpful. The café drinks are delicious, and served in mugs that look like they've been painted right there in house. All in all, a great place to spend a few hours!

This place is a fun and creative way to spend a few hours with friends, or alone. The staff is friendly and the pottery selection changes frequently so your choices will vary often enough to be a return customer. It is helpful though to have some ideas of what you want to create before you come in so you have more time to paint and spend less time planning. The cafe has pretty tasty treats, too!
