Excellent food. I ordered a last-minute catering meal (for a small group), and they were able to get it done for me. The food was delicious, and the employees were excellent. One helped walk the food to my car, and one emailed me to let me know pick up might be challenging due to jazz fest. Very kind and considerate. I can't wait to use them again. Highly recommend the falafel feast and chicken because that is what we ordered, and everything was well prepared and absolutely tasty. I don't think you could go wrong with 1000 Figs. ETA: I went to go review their service...amazing...but saw I have already written a review. Two years later and it is still delicious. If I could give them another five star review I would.

One of my favorite spots in New Orleans. Service is excellent! Friendly, courteous, professional. Food is exceptional. Well prepared, fresh, tasty, perfectly seasoned. I sometimes go once a week.

Ordered a falafel platter and fries to go. I found two long black human hairs in the food. I have white hair, so they weren’t mine. Needless to say, the experience kind of ruined the food. I threw it away. Probably won’t be back. Thanks for taking time to respond. It would have been appropriate to offer to reimburse me for the food I bought that was inedible because of the unhygienic conditions of your staff or prep area. But that’s just me.

The food is usually always great here, but we were a little disappointed this time around because we came home to find our bread was burnt on one side. The rest of the food was great, which is why I gave the four stars, but it was such a bummer that the bread was burnt, especially since it’s one of the things we love coming here for. Hopefully quality control will be what we are used to the next time we order takeout here.

The fresh focaccia bread is amazing!!! Beautiful little shop.. I like that you go order at the front counter. Clean bathroom& it was so cute. The vibe was cozy &cute. I’ll definitely be back

This is a really enjoyable spot for excellent Mediterranean style food. My gf and I had been meaning to stop by for awhile, but it is on the other side of town from where we live. We liked the original menu so much we over ate.

The food was fantastic and arrived quickly; this is some of the best falafel I've ever had! The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating - phenomenal hospitality at this restaurant, if you're in the area, 1000 Figs is absolutely worth a visit!

I love this place so much. The food is amazing. I would be coming here every day if I lived in the city. Sadly, I am kind stranded on the West Bank though. Anyways, I am in love with their Chicken Sandwich. It is so different, and so unique, from other Mediterranean places. The flavors in it are so amazing, and it seems to be very healthy. Their Hummus is also really very good. If I did not love their Chicken sandwich so much, I would give some of their other stuff a try, lol. Again, really great Hummus too. The prices are also unbelievably amazing. Very affordable prices. Probably should not have said that, lol, because they could easily raise their prices a lot, and I am sure they would still get a ton of business. Really nice cozy atmosphere too, that is in a really beautiful neighborhood, not far from City Park, and the Art Museum. Really beautiful neighborhood.

Not many options available for lunch at Memorial Day in the part of Nola that we were visiting. I am therefore particularly delighted that we found this one! The place is small and very welcoming. Service attentive and people kind. Food is good and offered a refreshing break from typical NOLA food which tends to be tasty but also very rich. Brussels Sprouts were superb. I loved that the cutlery was inside a drawer of the table we were sitting 😃

Employees charged us wrong for at least three times, they usually charged you around 10 to 20 dlls per order and if you ask about it, they get upset and fix the charge. The menu is limited to believe that they get wrong the check several times. I really love the food, I was a regular customer but I won’t come back.

This is a great little Mediterranean restaurant that is a neighborhood favorite for sure. Delicious chicken and falafel, really everything is good. I went here on a date recently and my lady friend couldn't talk the food was so good! It's kinda small so if there is a big rush it can be a bit awkward

Nasty encounter with blonde/pink short haired employee or ?. I had called in an order planning to sit outside on a pleasant breezy afternoon. I checked on my order when I arrived and it was not ready. I sat down at one of the two outside empty tables accompanied by my dog. After another 10 minutes, I called again and was told it wasn't ready yet. This woman came down and launched into telling me her customer wanted to sit outside but wanted my table (as the fumes from Canseco's bothered her). This in itself was ridiculous as the two outside tables are side by side. Then, she said "Are you still waiting for someone?" This was total presumption on her part. I said that I was still waiting on my order and had just called again. She asked my name and went to check. Then, another staff member brought my order down. Instead of having a leisurely lunch enjoying sitting outside, I took my order and walked home. I have always supported and enjoyed 1000 Figs but this encounter left me cold.

I had family visiting New Orleans so I brought them here for lunch. As always, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We had the chicken platter and the falafel platter. The food is always so so so fresh and delicious, all for a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend, and will continue to consider this one of my favorite places to eat!

Was not impressed. Very limited menu, crowded and the noise level was pretty close to unbearable. Almost left after walking in. But I was meeting friends who had already arrived.

Absolutely delicious food! My friend and I shared the falafel feast. It was a lot of food and we couldn’t finish it all, but so worth it. The inside is small, but very cute. Highly recommend!

Come here often,but today was an horrible experience. I ordered my food to go,and the hummus was old to the point that the olive oil on top was solid,and cold. It was like they had for a while and didn't throw it out yet,it was horrible. I love the bread, it my favorite thing,but today it was not fresh at all,and it was tiny,and nasty. Don't know what happen,will Never go back again!!!!!!!

Both the falafel and chicken platters were phenomenal. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, cooked to perfection. Also try the hibiscus tea which is a perfect balance to the savory flavors (not too sweet). Overall, 1000 Figs is a fantastic middle eastern restaurant that I highly recommend.

I’ve just about tried everything on the menu. It’s hands down one of the best places in Nola. The service has always been outstanding and the neighborhood is beautiful.

I’ve been to 1000 Figs several times and each visit is consistently excellent. With the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in New Orleans, fun wine options, and outdoor seating, I love recommending 1000 Figs to family and friends… but not without asking if I can go to! My go-to order is the hummus (with delicious toum) and fresh foccacia with a side of falafels.

Stumbled across this place for lunch when up visiting City Park. Knew it was a good sign when workers from the local hospital were showing up for their lunch too. Spent 3 days in New Orleans and this was by far the nicest food we had. Delicious food, great value.

The food was fantastic! I got the falafel plate with added whipped feta. The cabbage salad was crisp and delicious, the falafel were cooked to perfection, and the hummus, whipped feta and other dips were packed with flavor. The place was hoppin' with takeout orders and diners coming in, but the staff seemed to be on top of service. We were visiting from out of town but I would definitely eat here all the time if we lived here!

Delicious food. Large portions. Reasonable prices. Quick service. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this place - I was fully prepared for it to be another boring, mediocre, stingy Mediterranean place like nearly every other. No! The food is fresh, high quality, and for the chicken platter at least, nearly 2x the amount that's typical. Order to food ready took five minutes. I struggled to find anything that wasn't perfect (hummus has a bit more tahini than I prefer, was all I could come up with). Loved it!

My friend and I had a delicious meal here while attending a conference in the wonderful city of New Orleans. This place was an absolute relief after all the deep-fried local food (which is a delight but it's good to see a vegetable from time to time). The Brussels sprouts were epic - I wish I knew how they were made as I live very far away from this restaurant. All the food was lovely - unusual and tasty - strong recommend.

Visiting from Detroit area where we have the largest Middle Eastern population in the world outside of the Middle East, which means I’m spoiled by access to great food/restraints. That said, this place is BY FAR the best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had. The chicken, salad, brussels sprouts, tzatziki sauce, falafel - EVERY SINGLE THING - was mind blowing. The spices and flavors are pure magic. Also, I was with a local who has celiac, and this is one of their regular places. They never get sick from eating here. I can’t wait to go back.

This restaurant is so amazing. It is the best mediterranean restaurant that we have been to ever. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken platter and shared it for lunch. The food was fresh, tasty and so so good. Prices are very reasonable. We visited the Sculpture Garden in New Orleans Park and then had an easy 15 minute walk to this restaurant for lunch. Charming location in the neighborhood. Place is small and casual. If we had had more time in N.O. we definitely would have come back for lunch or dinner. Service was great. The staff really care about the food they serve and it shows. Highly recommend. Don't miss having a meal at 1000 Figs!

The pan bread here is delicious. And so is the tzatziki sauce. Kale and cabbage salad was probably the best thing I got from here. But I wasn't impressed with anything else. The chicken was ok, but not great. Falafel was dry and overcooked. Portion sizes are ridiculously small. The add-ons come in a half-filled ramekin. I will not order from here again. There are too many better options for Mediterranean food.

The food is very reliably good. But if you order takeout-check it before you leave, and if you order delivery, don't bother to expect requests to be honored. Want your salad and hummus to not be mixed together in same container? Too bad! Paid for an extra sauce that doesn't come with the platter? You might get it, but you won't get the ones that DO come with the platter! Don't want garlic sauce, and asked nicely for it to be held? Too bad, scoop it off your food yourself! Ordered and paid for an extra pan bread? Whoops! And takeout is always cold, like refrigerator cold, even if you pick it up or get delivery and you live a mile away. Tasty food though-but this last takeout disappointment is the last disappointment for me.

Oh. My. Gosh. I’m telling you this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in. First of all, the food is outrageously amazing!! Delicious, fresh, healthy, hearty, perfectly spicy and flavorful, just wow. The portions are perfect, and they are presented with love and an eye for detail. There are options for vegans, vegetarians, omnjomnivores and even a poor gluten and dairy free soul like me. Secondly, it’s a super pretty, comfy, cozy, curated and spotlessly clean place. Such a beautiful atmosphere with beautiful art on the walls, healthy and happy plants, tables with silverware drawers!? It’s so gorgeous in here!! And then last but not least: the staff is fantastic! Lovely humans, who do their work with grace and pride. I cannot recommend 1000 figs enough.

It's amazing to drink wine at Swirl and get food from 1000 Figs. The chicken dish is amazing. So is the Anise cocktail. Perfectly matches the good.

This is the most perfect place on the most perfect corner of the world. I stumbled upon it as a tourist and for a meal… it was home. Chunks of bread swirled in magical hummus, herbs, zhoung.

I absolutely love this place. Very fairly priced and atmosphere was really good. 100% perfect for a casual lunch or even a dinner date because u can sit at swirl wine next door and they will send the food over. Their hummus is probably better than Saba’s or Shaya’s (although they don’t serve pita, their focaccia-like bread was equally phenomenal)

Best hummus, best brussels, best falafel ever

I really love this place and I actually found it by accident when I was looking for a Mediterranean restaurant that had falafel. I was so happy that I decided to come here because they have so many vegan options and everything was so delicious. The price point is completely reasonable and worth it. I stayed in to eat and I must have hit it right because after I sat down they got a rush of people.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for good fresh healthy and sometimes les healthy but absolutely delicious Mediterranean food. I love sharing the falafel platter or if you're 3-4 people definitely get the feast it's such a treat and add Brussel sprouts. Their bread is heavenly and whatever that garlic white sauce is, I dream about it between visits

I have been frequenting this restaurant over the past few months for its ambience and variety in flavor. I do not regularly feel inclined to leave reviews, but this restaurant has done nothing but leave me in awe of the gorgeous experience that it cultivates. If you’re ever in the area stop in. No item on the menu disappoints. Everything last bite is delicious and fulfilling. The service is incredible and servers are kind, accommodating, and relatable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for a vegan restaurant and we chose 1000 Figs. It is located in the New Orleans Esplanade Ridge neighborhood. This cozy restaurant is fabulous. We ate phenomenal falafel sandwiches. Mine included whipped feta. We also had a flavorful kale and cabbage salad. The large salad is plentiful for 2 people to share. Service was also friendly and accommodating.

Great food, consistently bad customer service. Rude employees really kill the experience here. Hours posted online are hardly ever correct. Ordering pickup is a joke, they've canceled orders 45 mins after I've placed them multiple times. Super small resturant with limited seating. Again, the food is excellent albeit overpriced, but not worth the bad service.

Chicken was super moist and flavorful. Focaccia was great as well as the salad and the lentil soup service was also very friendly. And the price is really affordable. You should go. Now.

Mon conjoint et moi, sommes allés à ce resto parce qu''il.était bien coté. Pas du tout habitués à ce type de nourriture, nous avons trouvé le menu un peu restreint et avons failli quitter car on ne comprenait pas le menu. J'ai finalement posé des questions aux clients à côté et avons pris une assiette falafel et une assiette poulet épicé. On a VRAIMENT aimé ca! En plus, à un très bon prix. Une belle découverte. Le serveur était aussi très gentil. Quand il a offert à mon conjoint de lui apporter un autre pain, je lui ai dit qu'il pourrait plutôt prendre le mien car je ne pouvais pas manger de pain avec gluten. Il m'a alors offert de m'apporter des crudités pour remplacer le pain. Wow!

I’ve been ordering the Falafel platter for years, usually very good but not consistently. Today I got home with my food and was shocked to see burned bread!! Take- out isn’t as good as dining in but I’d still recommend. Always check your food asap bc this is unacceptable

What a beautiful little restaurant! We had the falafel platter and the chicken sandwich, both were delicious. You can tell that a lot of thought and quality goes into their food. It’s hard to find healthy, flavorful and reasonably priced but this place really has it all.

1000 Figs is one of the best Greek restaurants in NOLA. Very fresh and tasty food at affordable prices. Located in a quaint building in an established North NOLA neighborhood minutes from I-10, it’s worth getting off the beaten path.

A great place for afternoon appetizers, fresh beverages and special conversations.
