We have had amazing food and delicious drinks in a really quaint, special atmosphere many times before. We all got different food and loved ALL of it! Oysters, scallops, duck, steak, salad, shrimp and more! I recommend it all. The ONLY reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it has been SO SLOW getting the food our more than a few times now. Last time, we sat and waited an hour to get our entrée. Apps took more than 30 minutes. Too good of a spot with great food to have these type off issues...

Went for the oyster special It’s not the same price as advertised Anyway, orders a couple dozen and waited 35 minutes to be told they were out of oysters Then we were ignored by the waitress for the rest of the meal Food was good and nice atmosphere but lacked service and whatever happened with the oysters that’s advertised all over town

As locals we have visited Max’a at Snowvillage Inn many times and often enjoyed the food and experience. Tonight they knocked it out of the park! Our server Natalie was knowledgeable and personable beyond what most waitstaff offer!! We had the Oysters, Wedge Salad and Charcuterie and they were all well executed! But the Pistachio Crusted Halibut special was beyond perfect. Cooked to perfection with the right amount of t of seasoning and accompaniments. Thank you Natalie and Chef Josh!

Had dinner reservations, seated promptly, great atmosphere and people, owner was very nice and our waitress was excellent. Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The venison was delicious.

I loved the peace and serenity of the Snowvillage Inn. The owners of this quaint little inn are so wonderful and kind. The restaurant is excellent and the food is great. Hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful supper at Max's. My duck and garlic potatoes were cooked to perfection. My companion was delighted with his choice, as well. The atmosphere was welcoming. There are gorgeous views from both the dining area and inn. Lizzy did amazing serving our table. Fabulous place to visit and to dine at.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Max’s Restaurant! To start, the food and drinks are delicious and very high quality! I especially loved the fettuccine, crab cake and warm cider cocktail. The hostess and our waitress were both extremely friendly and polite, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is extremely cozy and ideal for a romantic dinner — we came during Valentine’s Day weekend and it was perfect for the occasion. I definitely recommend Max’s to anyone looking for a fantastic dinner!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here- the elk and duck our first night were amazing! The fish and chips and burger our second night just as good <3

Beautiful place, kind and friendly people. Excellent food. We love this place. The view is beautiful. The rooms are lovely (no TV in our room which makes it even more quite and peaceful). The food was delicious (breakfast was included, and dinner needs to be reserved ahead of time) . We think it is the best restaurant in the area. Don't miss their deserts at dinner or their chop ribs. They even have a good locally roasted coffee. Thrir lobby is so cozy and full of great books and board games. The staff is so friendly and kind and their service was outstanding. The only disadvantage we came across was the height of the beds. I think these beds are for very tall people :) but there is a stool if you need. Defently planning to go there again.

Highly, highly recommend! We spent a night here and felt so welcomed. The cozy rooms, beautiful views, and the restaurant were absolutely wonderful. In the perfect location for scenic hikes, too. I would definitely go to the restaurant at the inn instead of traveling elsewhere. Amazing service and great food. While leaving, I accidentally left my necklace in the room and the staff did everything to get it back to me, sending it to my house within a week(: so happy with our stay and we will be back!

Expertly prepared delicious meals, restaurant is gorgeous, very romantic ambiance, great live band. Definitely worth the 15 minute ride from North Conway. A hidden jewel in the woods. I will go back every year. Thank you Jim

Surprised my boyfriend for his birthday with the beer and spirits package and picked the frost suite. It was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful, I absolutely didn’t want to leave. The views were gorgeous and the food at Max’s was delicious.

My new husband and I chose Max’s for our “reception” after eloping with a small group of our immediate family just a few days ago. This restaurant is absolutely AMAZING. They were accommodating far beyond what we could have hoped for. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Our dinner guests are still raving about the Simply Sirloin Steak!

Friendly service. Beautiful area. My only bad review is to make sure to get upfront price if you want extra Packages. We had a New Years Eve Package for 2 adults. We were overcharged for our Welcome package. We were charged for our included dinner. We did not get the New Years Eve deal we received in our email confirmation. Make sure you get price and what's included upfront if you do Packages.

We stayed here the weekend of 12/17 to get away from the every day routine and had a phenomenal experience. We even drove through a blizzard to get there! - the room was terrific, great view of the mountains - breakfast - perfection every day - snowshoeing option was a nice touch and we had a blast for a few hours - The owners were very friendly and helpful with recommending things to do and places to visit - Dinner was exceptional, the restaurant on site served great mixed drinks and the menu had great variety. We loved the food as well, everything was perfect. A great blend of romantic and fine dining This is the perfect destination for a getaway, but shopping and restaurants are a short drive away at the same time. We will be back and look forward to it!

This is a hidden gem. Great place for a getaway. The food is unbelievable, one of the best meals I have ever had.

Just a wonderful dinner all around. From the minute you are welcomed in by the manager, it’s a true New England experience. Beautiful views, delicious food, spectacular service!!! So worth it!!!
