Nice, laid back atmosphere. Had some fryer food... first time in my life I've had PERFECT Onion Rings

Found this place on our day trip to see water falls. Food was great, service was even better! Cool atmosphere and the waitress was really friendly and worked really hard to get our large party with 4 small kids our food quick.

Annual UTV stop. Accommodated 30+ of us. Had a blast, food and drinks were great.

My dad's nickname was Hoppy because of his love of Hopalong Cassidy. He would save bread wrappers to take my mom to Hopalongs movies.

There are not many choices of places to eat in Kenton, so we got a pizza here. Reasonable price and good pizza.

Stopped here on our way through just to check it out. Pretty neat place. They have personal ceiling tiles that customers have made, many of their camps. Super cool! The bartender was very friendly.

We love stopping at Hoppy's bar on the way to camp! Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Lots of cool stuff to look at in there too - just look up at the ceiling tiles!

This is a classic UP small town bar. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed an Old Style beer.

Little older place the burgers we had were very dry! Was not very busy, got a reply from establishment?? Says they are a dive bar??? Wow?

Hoppy's has new owners and they are adding to the menu. I had waffle sweet potato fries that were yummy. The old menu items are available and there are new items being added and specials such as soup, chili, tacquitos, mini tacos. I can not wait to see what the new menu will look like. Welcome to the new owners Jessica and Dan. We will miss Jane but it looks like Hoppy's will carry on in good hands.

Nice place for lunch after riding the trails

We were so hungry a few hours into our 10 hour road trip and happened upon this bar. Burgers were delicious and fresh, fried veggies were superb. For just having "bar food" we were very satisfied with our meals and it really hit the spot. The interior has that local dive bar charm that you want to experience when visiting from out of town. Staff (one bartender) was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the visit

Great place to stop when you are out sledding. The menu is limited but good food for a reasonable price. Would recommend their chips instead of the fries. They make them fresh.

This place is a cool bar, not alot for food but you can get a burger and fries. Very friendly staff and good mixed drinks. prices are very resonable. Deffinetly a u.p. unique bar. stop in and grab a cold beer and check it out.

This is our favorite place to be when were in the Up of Mi. Love playing pool on a rainy or very hot day. The people are so great.

My husband and I stop in for a drink on our was home from Xmas shopping.it was a hoppy place😀 And the cook/bartender made a hamburger and I thought this was a cute way to serve it wit a hoppy face drawn on it.

Always love going to Hoppy's bar. I live down state but we go hunting in the U.P and Hoppy's is the first place we go to when we get get to town. The owner is very nice as well is the bar staff. Always a great time and I look forward to going back later this year. The sloppy hoppy is good!!

A 70 year old bar in the thriving megatropolis of Kenton, MI. Don't blink you'll miss it. The "Escanaba in da Moonlight" type watering hole serves a mean burger and beer at a fair price. Sloppy Hoppy burger, Frickin Chicken sandwiches will stuff your gut. Tell Michelle Mike said howdy. Stop in set a spell.
