The young lady working there is very unfriendly and disrespectful to all customers.

Food is overly prized and they sold us a sponge cake falsely advertised as tiramisu! A thin slice for 6.99$!!!! Not worth it all!!!

I will definitely be back soon! I went for the first time today, and was amazed by how great the food AND the prices were. So rare these days to find great food at a great price. I wanted to get dessert so badly, but was so full by the time I was done (and still had leftovers!), I decided to save it for another trip. I'm so excited to try the beautiful looking sweets! The owners were so kind and welcoming :)

I saw a good review of the Schwarma sandwich so I went there to try it. My sandwich was ok at best. The bread to filling ratio was poor. Although the bread was ok, the sandwich was too bready and dry. The Schwarma was skimpy as was the lettuce. Even the special sauce was skimpy. I wouldn’t go back for another sandwich. Iwill go to tops and buy a loaf

I'd highly recommend their beef shawarma sub. It is genuinely one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever eaten. I'd highly recommend their baklava too, I've gotten it a few times now and it's also always been delicious.

Food was fresh and homemade. The side salad was made from fresh chopped romaine lettuce NOT iceberg lettuce. Romaine is better and more expensive. I had the meatballs lunch which came with basmati rice and side salad. Excellent. Looking forward to trying other homemade entrees.

This place is priceless. Me and my husband are of different cultures and yet we can unanimously agree that this place constantly blows us away. Can’t get enough of all their babcalava ( don’t know the spelling) and the shawarma is yummy. Food is priced reasonably for the great quality. You gotta try it just once and then you will be a repeat customer.

Overall quite disappointed. Waited over an hour to get our food. The chicken kabab ($15) was tasty but the portion was so small, my 7 year old was still hungry after. Literally 1/2 cup rice and few bites of boneless chicken. The chicken shawarma was priced well and portion size was good, but it didn’t taste great. Left hungry, picked up a pizza on the way home.

Relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Plenty of beautiful pastries and sweets to choose from. We were warmly greeted by friendly staff who offered to assist us in our selection (be prepared to use a glove and choose your pastries.) We ordered chai and tried a small selection of baklava/pastries. Everything was delicious, and we will be back to try their lunch/dinner menu. Their prices are more than reasonable.

I was pleased to discover this place makes Afghani foods. They are excellent. I got a rohr nan, an inch thick slightly sweet 'flat bread'. I ate slices with melted cheddar cheese. It's not 'authentic Afghan', but it sure tastes good. They have a small area for eat in food, and you can buy from a well illustrated menu board on the wall and take it home. Enjoy.

Excellent food, sweets & deserts. All with the affordable prices and excellent customer service. Highly recommended to try it. I called it my second home after had my first lunch there!

My friend and I went earlier today for lunch and loved it enough that this is my third time ever leaving a review on Google, and my first time leaving one for a restaurant on any rating service in five years. The meal (Chicken Karahi, Qabuli Pawlaw, and Naan) was delicious, and the head of house was immensely friendly and helpful in explaining each dish (I'd never had Afghani cuisine before), and the baked goods are to die for, and the prices are VERY reasonably, especially for the quality of the food. Go. Enjoy yourself. Tell your friends. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes and baked goods!

Stopped in here the other day after a trip to the Indian market next door and was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman there running the counter was very helpful and friendly with me to answer any questions I had about the pastries because I have not had any Afghani desserts before. They were very delicious I do see them as kind of like shortbread types of cookies. Very flavorful and melts in your mouth. They also have cake and chilled desserts as well like baklava and other things. They do offer shawarma and some bread you can buy to go. They do offer lunch as well. Very nice spot to check out if you are in the area to try something new and different.

Never going here again. I have 3 complaints here. 1. This restaurant has kabobs on the menu saying "coming soon". It's been over one month and these kabobs still coming, they not here yet. 2. Anything you try to order, the guy will tell you it will take a long time to make & leave you with no option besides what he wants you to have 3. When you place the order, be prepared to wait at least 40 mins for the food to be ready (not exaggerating)

So, the store is beautiful and there was great customer service. However, the food was NOT what I thought it would be. We bought a couple different cookies, cream rolls, pistachio baklava and tarmisu... Nothing has any flavor!? We were so disappointed. The only thing that had flavor was the tiramisu and it tasted the way dirty feet smell. I felt bamboozled bc the store looks great so I expected good food. Boy, was I ever wrong. I just have to reiterate how flavorless it all was. Both my bf and I were so confused. It all tasted like cardboard. Very strange.

Whoa, absolutely blown away. I've been coming here for a few months for the bakery, but today I stopped by to pick up some cookies and realized they are now the serving hot food. As soon as I saw the Kofta, I knew I had to eat it. I'm so glad I got busy today and skipped lunch. I was planning to nosh a couple of cookies in the car until I made it home to eat but the hot food was a nice surprise. Rice is perfect, and the texture of the meatball is so good. I'm coming back for Qabuli Polo ASAP.

Best afghani food and delicious cookies

Delicious and truly handmade pastries. Highly recommend. One can order a box of cookies as well as make large party size order. Service is quick and friendly. They also have other options in a very nice environment. The smell of fresh baked goods is to dream for.

Go next door to Namaste Indian for a meal and then come here for dessert!

Found this place through Google, looking for something open on Sunday evenings. Aesthetically pleasing, super clean place. Stopped by in the evening and bought Italian bread (the owner notified me that it has been made that morning), and it still tasted fresh and delicious! The owner was very helpful and pleasant. Hope to visit again soon. (Photo shows only a partial loaf because I couldn’t wait to try it 😅)

We went into Breadsough after our trip to the Indian store and it was such a nice surprise! The inside is extra clean and bright. Everything looked so good! The man behind the counter was super friendly. We got chocolate cake and some bread. The chocolate cake was amazing! My 2 kids fought over it haha and I wish I had gotten more things to try from this awesome place. Definitely will be coming back here loads more time. 1000/10.

We have tried all of the cookies available that day, and they were all really good. The simple ones and the more fancy ones. The ones with the nuts and jam were the best. It's right beside Namaste store, so they have ample parking there. They place is huge. Hope to have a variety of saltish / cafe style things there soon A very good addition, the best cookies in Rochester
