Best restaurant is Pittsburgh! Food, atmosphere, and drinks were all fantastic. I’ll miss The Final Straw…Berry drink when it leaves the menu.

It was amazing to eat fried chicken and what tasted like an Arby's cheese stick again. The non celiac family members said they couldn't even tell the difference. Great job to everyone.

Great little place. Super friendly staff that make great cocktails. Kinda wish there were more appetizer options but the cheese wheel and wings are awesome. It can be a little noisy which makes it hard to hear but the ambiance of this place is super cool. The people who own it created a neat space. They could easily open a larger space speakeasy with some jazz playing because they have all the right feels. Like i said staff does a great job making drinks, working together to cover the bar. Really do like this place!

Food was great! White wine was room temp. Noisy like you can’t believe. Wait staff was busy.

Don’t be fooled by the small menu. Our group tried several appetizers and multiple entrees and a couple of kids items. Every single plate was 100% clean —- well we had some leftovers! Food was all excellent. Drinks were interesting. Atmosphere was great. Service was perfect. And they of course were knowledgeable and spot on with handling gluten free needs.

Mullet's is a gem of the South Hills. The food is beyond delicious. I love their unique twists on cocktails. I have enjoyed everything I have ever ordered. The employees have always been friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order (because everything is so good!) I cannot wait to go back.

I recently moved to Mt Lebanon, and Mullett's is easily my favorite bar and spot to grab a quick bite. I've been here about 6 times and every one has been a 5/5 experience. The brisket crostini and smash burger are without fail delicious. It's always the same 4-5 servers/bartenders and they are all very kind and give great service. Great casual yet slightly fancy vibe, feels like everyone knows each other. Will certainly continue to frequent.

I can tell all the best about this place, great food, great coctails (expext to pay 14 per coctail, but coctails are never cheap, nothing unusual there).

I RARELY give a full 5-Star Review of food but... this place blew us out of the water! We began our meal with a glass of water presented in a nice reusable glass bottle on a saucer. We followed up with drinks aptly named "Mary Jane" and "Ugly Duckling." These cocktails were made to perfection. A great flavor to taste with just enough of a bite for us to feel a nice little buzz. The drinks were fantastic to wash down the delicious Gluten-Free Poutine. The ambience of a diverse crowd of all walks of life set the tone for our dinner. We were feeling tired and anxious, but the waitstaff made us feel comfortable with their demeanor. We made sure to tip nicely. My wife got a regular style Banh-Mi which left her satiated. I got the Gluten-Free Fried Chicken sandwich. My sandwich is bar-none the best Gluten-Free fried chicken I have had at a restaurant. The taste and texture were that of a normal piece of fried chicken. The soft and crunchy GF Bun sealed the deal for me. We finished the night with a slice of carrot cake to take home. Neither of us wanted to share! We will certainly be back. If you are looking for a great restaurant, here it is. If you are looking for the BEST GLUTEN-FREE RESTAURANT in the Pittsburgh area, look no further than Mullet's.

All the hype is true: Mullets is AMAZING. We went to dinner for the gluten-free options, but everything got excellent reviews. The gf deep-fried breaded cheese was what drew me to the restaurant - I'm missing deep-fried snacks the most. It was worth the 45-minute drive alone. The fried chicken sandwich doesn't just swap for grilled chicken - they use gf flour and a gf bun! It was soooo crunchy and delicious. The menu is clearly marked, and the servers were very helpful and patient in handling questions from someone extremely nervous to try something deep fried. But I'm safe! There was even a dessert option, which is almost always lacking. A gf/vegan burnt almond torte, it was delicious! They have a small kids menu that is not posted online. Burger, chicken tenders, and grilled cheese. My 9yo had the grilled cheese with fries (fresh cut) and he ate it all and asked to come back. Maybe the best review you can get from a kid. Note: breading is gluten-free but not wheat free.

Fun place filled with friendly people

I didn’t eat here, just had cocktails, so rating is based on that. I wanted to go out for a nice drink or two and ended up finding this place from a Google search. It’s a cute little spot on Beverly Rd. The bar itself is very neat - love the decor and atmosphere. It was quite busy but I snagged a seat at the bar. The bartenders were all so kind and welcoming. I first ordered an El Camino which was a cocktail made with Mezcal and Rye. It was delicious and very unique. I then ordered a classic Gin Fizz which was so tasty! The drinks are both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. They also have a wide range of beer and wine options as well, so anyone would be happy here. I didn’t look too closely at the food menu, but it looked mostly like small plates and I would definitely give it a try my next visit. This spot is so chic and intimate, perfect for a date or girl’s night. I highly recommend it and will be back!

This is by far my FAVORITE spot! The food is always delicious, the cocktails are to die for, and the service is a 10. They are constantly adding creative and delicious cocktails. It is such a great spot with the best vibe.

We’ve been to Mullets numerous times and have always had a great experience. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and staff are excellent. Among our favorites are the crispy pork belly, fried provolone wheel, poutine, and Corpse Reviver cocktail.

Pork Belly was amazing. It was the perfect combo of meat and fat with the greens playing off the taste perfectly! The wait is worth it!

I went last night with my wife, got a chicken sandwich, Brussels sprouts and she got the bahn mi. Brussels sprouts were fantastic, so very flavorful. Her bahn mi was nice, filling with lots of pork belly and my sandwich seemed nice but was quite overcooked and the breading and the chicken were dry and bland. I’m chalking it up to a random error or a kink in the startup process and will definitely go back.

As someone who has to eat gluten free, this is the most joy I have felt while eating food for years. The fried provolone wheel and chicken sandwich were top notch! My non-GF husband loved everything as well! Cocktails and service were wonderful!

Delicious gluten free options that myself and non gf husband loved. They do have regular buns for sandwiches, prepared separately for those who prefer. Great cocktail menu, cute, cozy place and friendly staff. A must stop for anyone gluten free!

Food was top notch. My wife loved the brussels sprouts. Fried provolone wheel was quality too. We both had their Lenten fish sandwich special. Super crunchy coating and tender, flaky fish.

Great experience here. My wife is gluten free and all of the food is gluten free on the menu. Everything tasted very good. The cheese wheel was outstanding. Fried chicken sandwich was great as well. Drinks were a little pricey but it’s 2024 what’s not expensive. Only complaint is was the wait time. It seemed like we were skipped over on the wait list.

I guess they open when they feel like it. We walked up to the door at 4:30 on a Friday and had the door locked right in my face. There was a handwritten sign that said "Temporarily closed, check our social media to see when we reopen." I know times have changed and there are staffing issues, blah, blah, blah,...try learning how to run a business instead of slamming the door in customers faces. If customers are not worth your time then my business is not worth yours. Zero stars.

We had a great experience from start to finish! Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food menu and the cocktail menu. We tried a variety of appetizers that were all delicious. I especially liked the crispy Brussels sprouts and crispy pork belly. I loved every cocktail we tried. I had the gin fizz and the clover club, and I look forward to ordering both again on my next visit! Cheers

We enjoyed just relaxing at Mullet's! Strarted with drink and rolled through several appetizers. The hand helds were enjoyed and dessert - forgot to get pictures before we started eating them. I remembered before we were completely done eating them!

The cocktails tasty, the food top shelf. Most restaurants that offer gluten-free food are suspect. Mullett's is NOT that. We feasted without concern because the staff and menu were on it. If you like adult beverages and safe, predictable, and quality foods for GF folks- cmon down!

Mullets is one of the best gluten friendly places in Pittsburgh. They do have non-gf options but everything made in the kitchen is gluten free. Fries, fried chicken, and a wonderful burger.

Awesome place to go to. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. Heavy pours on glasses of wine. Attentive staff. Only complaint is the caprese salad had 5 small balls of mozzarella compared to a heavy amount of tomato and arugula. It was still delicious just wish there was a little more. 1000% recommend and will be back soon

This place is so freaking good. My wife has celiac disease and can't eat gluten so Mullets has been a god send for that. Everything is made to order and always tastes fantastic. Never had a bad experience here.

Loved this place when it was formerly Taco Diablo, pleased to say I love it still as Mullett's. Lots of delicious, fresh, seasonal fare, small plates, and heavy focus on cocktails. Prices are more than worth it for the quality.

The owner is active in the restaurant and a super personable guy. You can tell he's really cultivated the environment he's created. Food is great. Drinks are different than any other bar I've been to and really tasty.

Top notch. Bartender was super friendly. Food was excellent. Ambiance was very chill. Got there a little after it opened on a Friday night and by the time we left, there was no seat to be had. Will certainly be coming back, hoping to roll a new die for more drinks!

Great new spot! I'm so happy to have another gluten free/ Celiac friendly place to go to. Having a serious wheat allergy can be scary to go out and eat so I love that this kitchen is almost entirely gluten free and they take it seriously. As a fellow bartender I can say in my opinion the cocktails are top notch and made properly delicious. Also great drinks on the menu. Food is delicious, thank you so much for having gluten free poutine you have made my life much better!

My husband and I have stopped here twice over a week for dinner/drinks before concerts downtown. Our first experience was excellent in terms of food and service. (Get the Brussels sprouts, wings and whatever specialty drink is on the menu!) Service during our second experience was abysmal, however. We had a different server who essentially forgot we existed, was too busy talking to other employees in the kitchen and didn't even bother to have our second small plate order fulfilled. We had to flag down another employee to get our check so we weren't late for our show, and they seemed equally annoyed by our server's behavior that evening. Anyway, we left hungry and disappointed. It's gonna be awhile before we come back.

Great mixologist... the old fashioned was made perfectly, also had a dark and stormy... the provolone wheel was excellent and their marinara had just a bit of a bite to it... the smash burger was fantastic and the fries fresh and crispy

I wish that 10 stars was an option! Mullets is a unique and very cool place to eat and have a couple of adult beverages. We have been there on numerous occasions and have had a great experience every time. First of all, the atmosphere is really great. The interior has a very cool vibe with the way that it is laid out and lit. All of the employees are friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. My wife prefers to eat gluten free and it is a very hard to find option at many places. Well, not here and they have a great and very tasty menu. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and a very cool cocktail menu with classic and specialty drinks. There are not many place like this around so give them a try for a unique experience. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Wow!! It was so nice for my husband (gluten free) to be able to choose from everything on the menu without having to request modifications! They are able to provide delicious gluten free options without sacrificing flavor and textures. I had the smashburger on a gluten roll, which was phenomenal! Their website mentions that gluten breads are kept in a separate area. The fried provolone was my husband's favorite, the cauliflower, wings, and fries were all top notch.

First visit was out of the park with food and service, second visit was not so good - did not respect food allergy and messed up my order to the point I was sick 2 days after. Gave them a third chance and attempted to go back - had a wait so gave my cell, never heard from them checked back only to find out they lost my number and I never made it to the wait list. This is a place that is under staffed and not able to handle the Lebo crowd.

I’m so excited about this place! The service was great, the food was great, and the drinks were even better! Guys, they have real cocktail tools. We tried a couple of drinks, the fried provolone wheel, the burger, and the chicken sandwich - all were incredible. The service is the real star of the show though. The wait staff are kind, caring, and super attentive to everyone in the restaurant. We will be back and I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

My husband and I were big fans of Taco Diablo but were so blown away by our experience at Mullets. Amazing food, service, cocktails, and atmosphere. Colin (our server and one of the owners) was passionate, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make our experience great. Highly recommend the Old Fashioned, Brussels sprouts, and provolone wheel (or anything with the house-made spicy marinara).

I rarely give a 5 star review- having a variety of gluten free options, delicious foods, and all without the upcharge for gluten free contributes to this 5 star review. Mullet's has excellent gluten free options and great service. The environment is friendly and relaxed. The smashburger and chicken sandwich each have great flavor and are available as gluten free options. The provolone wheel was large enough for a small group and tasted great.

This restaurant does not disappoint. This is the best Gluten-Free restaurant in Pittsburgh. But you wouldn't know it was Gluten-Free because the food is so good. My daughter has celiac and this restaurant is like a dream for her because she doesn't have to worry about getting sick when eating out. She has so many options to choose from and the food is delicious. I would like to give a shout out to Bobby - he is the best waiter we have ever had! And one of the owners, Colin, is so nice and friendly. We will be life-long customers. Thank you so much for making your kitchen gluten-free for customers who are super sensitive to cross-contamination.
